In one of the extra comics Marcille mentions that elves don't have body hair, her included. So Falin staring at a naked pussy is Canon
I mean, I hear what you're saying but...
To be 100% honest, this feels really ambiguous. She's a little too worked up in that second panel. Like, a lot of people have interpreted it as her being defensive and self-conscious about the fact that she shaves and waxes religiously (especially in the context of a trans headcanon) and that feels more right to me?
My personal interpretation is that she really doesn't grow little facial hairs (partially bc we've seen Senshi's huge beard turn into a tiny little elf stache so there is some real evidence for that). But then she doesn't actually know if she has peach fuzz or not and gets REALLY flustered about being scrutinized before she can check for herself and shave off anything she doesn't like.
But either way, my point is that I don't think we're meant to take Marcille's words here at 100% face value and consider it evidence for elf physiology.
And listen. I think Marcille should have a bald pussy in the bath scene bc rule of funny. But beyond that, I want to believe elves can grow pubic hair. I want to believe in the postcanon blondie bush. She's exponentially cuter with it, and I don't want Falin to have to eat bald pussy for the rest of her life. I'm only half joking when I say I want it as a part of her character growth. At the end of the story, Marcille Donato accepts that she is a living, breathing animal that eats and will be eaten and sweats and shits and grows hair all over her body. She learns to accept mortality, starts to reconcile with the inherent grotesqueness of being alive, and most importantly, lets her bush grow out for the first time in her life. And it's beautiful.

Honestly the funniest thing about TDP to me is that Rayla for some reason always thinks Callum isn't 100% ride-or-die with her on any given situation. Seriously, she could decide she's jumping off a cliff and he'd do it too--oh wait.
I get that half of it is 'protecting' him but like. Girl he has been ready to die and kill for you since the first snake chain incident. It has not lightened up since. In fact its gotten worse. She's his special little guy and if anything happens to her he will kill everyone in the room and then himself. She physically cannot ever sacrifice herself for anyone because Callum WILL be following her straight into the afterlife in no less than a minute. I'm fully convinced he can and would go even further than Claudia and he'd barely have to think on it for five seconds before shrugging like "damn this sucks, can't believe I have to turn evil" "you literally don't have to--" "no I'm gonna"
And honestly I think that's peak teenagers first girlfriend behavior.

Missa knows souls.
He’s a reaper-of course he does. He may not be much of one at the moment, but that’s one thing that has never, can never, leave him.
Missa knows souls, and even though it’s been years since he’s had to use the talent, the knowledge sticks with him. They underestimate him on this island (not a lot, granted, but mortal bodies are hard to control and he’s more than a little out of practice) and he’s known Roier for long enough that whatever has taken root inside of his friend’s body can’t fool him.
When Missa sees him for the first time since the island’s reset, he thinks he’s seeing things at first; the stress of starting over must have gotten to him because he has to be imagining what he’s seeing. It’s only after he’s spent a little time with Roier that he realizes that his first instinct was right: he may be looking at Roier’s body, but he’s no longer speaking with his soul.
He’s careful not to let the knowledge slip out, playing up the jokes and banter with the imposter like he normally would, but inside his mind is reeling. There’s no one he can tell who would believe him, except maybe Phil, but Missa doesn’t want to involve him in this. His partner may be a reaper in his own right, Angel of Death as he is, but he’s got enough on his winged shoulders without Missa’s problems adding to them.
He gets his chance eventually, with a slipped comment to Cellbit. He frames it as just another joke in a bantering argument, but there’s a little too much sincerity in the way he focuses on Cellbit as he speaks that lets the other man realize the truth of his words:
“There’s something wrong with Roier.”
And by the widening of Cellbit’s eyes as he speaks, Missa knows his message has been received. After all, above anything else, Missa knows souls.

vertin gender
hey you guys ever think about how arcana and constantine refer to vertin with feminine terms (ex: lady vertin), how people who are on their side but who are perceived as people who “aren’t close with” vertin time and time again refer to them with “timekeeper” and they/she (ex: sonetto, madam z), and how people who look as vertin not as a leader or an ‘enigma’ (they/she, timekeeper) nor as someone they can pawn on their side (she/her, ‘lady vertin’) refer to them with masculine terms, such as ‘sir’ or ‘lord’? (ex: an—an lee, schneider)
it’s like. the less you look at them as a pawn and the more you look at them as a person the less cisgender everything gets. i should probably do a serious theory on this

no offence to val kilmer but he really shot himself in the foot here lol because anyone who had as specific a vision for iceman as tony scott apparently did would have been even more convinced by val pulling these antics than if he showed up perfectly sincere and on his best behaviour.
because firstly val had that barely contained slightly feral quality to him especially at that age that is somehow actually perfect for iceman. contain all that into the skin of a perfect golden boy fighter pilot and it creates something really dynamic and compelling that shows in iceman’s body language and just the way he holds himself throughout the film. so its very understandable why they were adamant on val for the role.
and secondly, one of iceman’s most immediately noticeable character traits is the dgaf energy he exudes. he’s obviously not a rebel or non-conformist but he’s also definitely not a conformist. he clearly doesn’t care a lot about what exactly his supeiors or authority figures think of him personally. fandom interpretation where his whole personality as presented in the movie is actually a facade for how deeply he craves approval from everyone is usually a little boring to me (especially when done in that pretentious contrarian way fans sometimes have) because look at his demeanour with all his superiors and instructors including viper.
he’s a very neutral character in that sense - being a conformist requires you to care but being a rebel also requires you to care deeply about what people think of you (mav). iceman toes the lines set for them only to the extent necesssary to keep himself out of trouble but his demeanour with his superiors is extremely casual (maybe too casual) and not really something that would win him any points with them. he doesn’t really care and he lets his flying do the talking for him.
all of which seems kind of perfectly encapsulated in this audition of his lol

You know when I really think about it, there are only a handful of ships that I actually like--ACTUALLY ship?
There are a lot that I will reblog a piece of fanart, or read the odd fanfic about because I scrolled past it and it looked interesting, but most of the time my attitude is more "oh, I could see that," and "yeah, that's cute."
But it's actually a fairly uncommon occurrence for me get really, truly INVESTED in a ship. And then when I do, I latch onto it and never let go.

getting up IS hell and i do legitimately think my body is adhd-typically wired for a later shift, such that getting up is extra hell for me personally
that said, especially with the house to myself for once there's a real pleasure in prying myself out of my oyster bed half-respectably early and absent-mindedly making myself a latte and taking it in with me to sit in the little living room while the light still looks indefinably but definitively like Morning—feels like there's something of a pome in it, only i haven't got words in me about it, exactly, just a deep swept-clean contentment and a cat that's climbed up into my lap again, warm and soft and heavy as love…
