If in fact 911 does kill me I think it's important that everyone know that it is entirely my husband's fault.
He's the one that saw this scene and immediately said "Yeah! They fuckin!"
Then later added "Oh damn, they're in love." when he saw them like this.
He also says of all the over the top things that happen on this show, Buck and Eddie not being together is the most unrealistic.

can i just say i am so sorry to all the gay, bi and just queer men in this fandom who have to witness this horrible amount of homophobia over tommy and just his fucking presence in the show as bucks boyfriend!
you all deserve better than this toxic bullshit from the fandom, you deserve to be able to see people celebrating this gay relationship without people saying they want tommy to die because he gets in the way of buddie, or that he is horrible for making a joke after they were both vulnerable and buck literally set him up for it!!!
and to all the people in the fandom who are actively spouting this homophobic bullshit, maybe think for a moment about why you hate this gay man so much, and why you hate this queer male relationship, and why your response to hating it is talking about how the gay man is toxic, predatory and corrupting sweet innocent buck. maybe consider how this narrative isn’t as innocent as you may think it is and how it might be indicative of some prejudice and homophobia in yourself!
and a reminded you are not immune to being homophobic just because you are queer!!!

"I didn't cut things short because you behaved badly, I did it because I didn't want to pressure you."
When writers give us gold. Men from all sides, this is how you deal with someone who feels insecure or is hesitant. You don't push, you don't blame, you don't harass, you don't assault. You take a step back with respect for the other person.

What if Tommy doesn’t have a suit for the wedding?
Maybe he outgrew his old ones by beefing up, either way he doesn’t have one anymore
And so he texts Buck about what colors is his, and his accessories and all so they don’t clash
Buck is on a shift but it’s pretty q-word so he answer each text pretty quickly
And then come the pictures
Tommy trying jackets, pants, shirts
Sometimes just the jacket without the shirt and Buck can see his chest hair, his muscles taunting him
Or just pants without anything on top, and Tommy is thorough, sending them front but also back and Buck just combusting when he sees how some light grey pants hug Tommy’s ass and the muscles of his back just above make him want to scratch it
In the end Tommy pick a few of each so he can decide later and have more formal clothes and later on he may model a few outfits for Buck

Do you have any idea where the 'oliver hates lou' thing came from? Cause all I've seen is them praising each other and oliver saying how fun and goofy lou is. The only 'reason' I've seen from big blogs is that oliver doesn't follow him but he only follows the main cast now, not even anirudh or john who he's friends with so ? I doubt that means he hates him?
no idea who said it first, but as most vile things, it came from twitter.
people are grasping for straws because they aren't happy with the bucktommy storyline. Lou came in and did his job and said yes to a storyline that gave us bi Buck and these people are trying to bully him on twitter, trying to get a gotcha out of him, the cast and other fans on the regular.
the man cannot move an inch without them being up his ass about it, which, as I said before has me a little concerned for various reasons, some of them being Lou leaving the show prematurely due to the behaviour, the fandom en masse getting a bad reputation similar to other large toxic fandoms in the past (spn, stranger things, voltron, etc.) and just in general it grinds my gears that people can't fucking separate the actor from the character.
hate Tommy all you want, make up reasons, ignore his backstory and growth all you want, but Lou is a real human being who we don't know.
for what we see from him and what he lets us see is nice, but even if he's somehow this evil, terrible person... we just don't know. we're not working with him, we aren't his friends or family so it's just completely deranged to think that any of us can make an accurate analysis of his behaviour.
the cast and Tim only ever said that he's goofy, he's sweet, he's kind and great to work with — which, believe them or not, but it is what was said. he loves the character, Oliver loves the storyline and just because they barely know each other, it doesn't mean they hate each other.
and even if they did — it wouldn't matter. the actors' relationship doesn't affect the show as long as everyone is being professional and I'd be surprised if they weren't.
all this to say; this whole thing is made up and normal people have no reason to believe it and also should not have interest in if the cast likes Lou or not; but for all intents and purposes, by the cast's own admission, they like him.

I disagree that the daddy kink convo should've been replaced with a heartfelt meaningful conversation about their mutual issues with their fathers because as much as you complain that the relationship isn't developed for Buck, it isn't developed for Tommy either, and it would be a disservice to the reserved guy that Lou says that Tommy is to make him immediately open up to someone without showing the proper progression and storyline leading up to that
the kink convo worked for both characters (both are just dawgs i guess), it was very mutual, and i still don't understand the perspective that Tommy's comment came out of nowhere, i run based off of the assumption that all flirty buck convos are... flirty...????
I understand why people want this, because the acknowledgement of Buck's parental issues comes with a burning desire to have a genuine conversation about it, but something that fits his character should not come at the cost of another character.
A scene should fit to everyone involved, and at most, it should've been a kind of... maybe a conversation of buck going 'yeahh... i got issues with my dad, that's why Bobby means so much to me, he's kinda like the dad i never had.'
and Tommy's response being 'Yeah, i see that... my dad sucked but i had Gerrard who sucked too, so... yeah... he's the dad i already did have lol.'
OH...
OH WAIT...
ITS ALMOST LIKE THEY DID.
this conversation should happen eventually, but when it actually has meaning. At a point where Tommy is actually going to be willing to open up a little more (since we kinda see that he is a little bit more reserved with Buck still in this season), and maybe it's in favour of servicing Buck as a character, or Tommy, or BOTH. But you cannot put a character on the line bc you pearl clutch over the fact that your 'baby' pretty boy fucks severely.

RE: Buck & Tommy's hospital scene & Buck's attraction to Tommy.
After the doors open and Tommy walks into the hospital in his full turnout, covered in soot, the camera cuts back to Buck strutting up to Tommy. Buck's got a bit of a swagger to his step as he gives Tommy a full once over. Tommy looks dog-tired, but all Buck can think is, "He's here! He's here! Fuck, he looks good."
He was so attracted to his boyfriend, he practically ate Tommy's face in the hospital lobby and then made out with him long enough to be covered in soot, too. Like, "Hold up. I know people are waiting, but I need a moment alone with you first."
And I find that a 'lil amusing.
Buck really went from, "Yeah, I check out attractive men, but that's not gay," to "🚨 Hot pilot. Hot pilot. 🚨 Ohmygod I'm hot for this man."
He's unabashedly attracted to Tommy. And I love that for him.
Evan,
