What has the group's dynamic been like since B.I's departure?:

Oh wow so when I was shuffling my cards fell and the ace of cups was at first upright then it swiveled in reverse. I feel a lot of anxious and jittery energy as well. So I feel that B.I was the member who would "blend" the group together, he was a good mediator and if there ever was an issue he was able to solve it. I also feel that he was like an authority figure. B.I brought structure and stability to the group. I also feel that perhaps some members were closer to each other than some other members and he was able to help them form a bond (I feel this is particularly in regards to Chanwoo?). The members did not feel upset with B.I leaving iKON but more so the circumstances. I felt that they knew if he stayed his mental health would of declined even more. I feel that since B.I left the group, iKON could feel the need to compete with each other? The members who are less popular get less opportunities in comparison to another member who is more famous (most likely Bobby). They could be struggling financially wise. This feels very sad actually because iKON had to always fight for a chance to be in the spotlight despite coming from such a prestigious entertainment company but they got screwed over more than once. They feel as if everytime they reach to the top or celebrate a moment of success, they just hit rock bottom again. iKON feel disheartened by this but there's no where else really to turn to when it comes to making an income. I believe the ace of cups turning around could mean they went from a dynamic that was loving and affectionate to a business partnership. So at first the group could have really felt like a group of close friends but because the constant grief and struggling (I heard trauma bond?), the members' focus is now on new beginnings and creating financial stability for themselves. They are willing to work with each other still since there is trust established here.

Is B.I still close with the members of iKON?:

Oh boy 😅. Honestly you know how some people just need to fight it out to resolve an issue? This is what I see here. So when B.I was still a member of iKON they felt he was suitable to be the leader despite being so young in age but overtime his immaturity began to show. B.I was well articulated, punctual, and logical (I heard cut throat so he's someone who gets straight to the point). I heard "I stuck my neck out for them" so maybe B.I fought for a lot of the things that iKON has now. For example, let's say YG was not really letting them perform or publish certain songs B.I would assert himself and be the voice for his team. B.I could have also made sure the members stayed out of trouble when that was not necessarily his responsibility due to them being grown adults. I felt there was a brief period where B.I went through isolation and also depression? So he was just not as talkative or really closed off from the members. "I felt something bad was going to happen to me". B.I could have intuitively known or started having premonitions before the scandal was going to happen, or he kept having anxiety about people finding about the drug situation. I believe some of the members even got suspicious about it but B.I would lie so he could cover things up. I feel that this was Bobby especially who started getting suspicious of his behavior. "I knew something was wrong but everytime I asked him he wouldn't tell me anything and say that "nothing was wrong." He never allowed us to help him. This situation could of been avoided if he just let people do damage control." I feel that Bobby in particular was pissed about this because they were like brothers and he felt that B.I really fucked up what was going good for the group. He also understands that he was struggling so it's just that Bobby is upset because his friend didn't let him help him when he needed it the most and also ultimately sabotaged his own success but also the group's success as well. Which tbh I think that is a fair and valid reaction. There is also more to the story that we haven't heard about or seen as well. Legally, neither B.I and the members of iKON can talk about it due to contract reasons. They aren't as close because of the NDA that was signed and it basically forced them apart. They could also have lost most of their rights? It's possible YG owns their master's to their music or something. I feel that the group had a meeting? Perhaps iKON had to speak with a manager or legal advisor when B.I left and I'm just seeing Bobby shake his head in response. Something really shifted and changed the group's dynamic since then. I feel that B.I and iKON would need a intervention or someone to bring them together to hash things out and talk again.

What did Bobby mean by his comments about B.I on Instagram?:

😅 I feel like whenever Bobby thinks of B.I he gets mad all over again. I believe he does love him and care about him but it's just a triggering subject for him. He is unable to think about the good memories of him anymore because of the consumables that Bobby had to deal with. Bobby saw what people were saying about ot6 or ot7 and he wanted to respond quickly to that because he honestly didn't want to hear it. "Why talk about the same old shit? We moved on, they should too." Bobby understands that the way he spoke in regards to B.I was blunt and not necessarily the nicest thing he could have said about him since the scandal and his departure but its because he feels anxious. Yunhyeong, Donghyuk, Jinhyeong, Junhoe, and Chanwoo are also members of this group yet people keep hyper focusing on B.I and iKON, Bobby & B.I + iKON, or Bobby + iKON it aggravates him because they feel their dismissing their hard work and efforts of being in the group. "I know everyone has their bias and stuff like that but people don't realize how it's not just me or B.I who worked hard on our music. So when people say things like "ot6" or "ot7" whatever, it just feels like they're focusing on *their* ideal vision of what the group should be and that's not how it is. All this attention on me or him is unbearable sometimes". I believe now that Bobby was able to state how he finally feels, he wants to let go of the past and focus on healing his resentment from his own actions and also B.I's.

What was B.I's reaction to Bobby's comments?:

These two are like that couple who break up and fall in love again 💀. So B.I cares about Bobby and I feel that they are slowly trying to rekindle their friendship with another but there's moments when that animosity shows up again so whenever Bobby does get triggered or forced to remember how B.I hurt him, he can be petty or lash out his anger on him in the process even if he's not the reason why Bobby is upset. So when B.I saw the comments he said about him on IG it did sting but B.I is the kind of person who can dish and also take it. So when someone gets upset with him or scolds him it's nothing new to him but B.I does refrain from getting confrontational because he knows in this situation he is to blame. "He's not wrong at all but I wish he could move on from the past because I feel like it's affecting our ability to grow as friends." B.I is waiting for the right moment to reach out to speak to him but if Bobby hurts his feelings again he might just withdraw from talking to the members altogether. I feel that B.I is currently in fight or flight mode and is trying to heal from this situation since it also triggers him as well. He is very sensitive to confrontation right now and could be feeling like a "coward" in that aspect. It just feels unfair to him because all of the members are upset with him and it makes him feel cornered. "Everyone can be upset with me but who can I be upset with? Nobody but myself. It puts me in a bad place mentally and emotionally." B.I could be struggling with feeling like a victim when it comes the situation with IKON. He should learn to forgive himself and accept that he cannot change his past in order to move on.

Is there a possibility of B.I and IKON seeing each other again/ reuniniting?:

It's honestly up in the air right now 💀 I feel that they overall do wish to see each other again but there's mixed feelings. One member (possibly Junhoe) doesn't want to be bothered because it would bring up a lot of old baggage, another member is being stubborn and just wants to focus on his own success (Bobby), and a few other members feel more hopeful and optimistic about it (Chanwoo, Yunhyeong, and Jinhyeong)? One person (maybe Jinhyeong) is trying to break the ice and create that path to communication again but it's hard because there's a energy that feels reluctant. It's also difficult because B.I is banned in the kpop industry so it's like if they interact with him it could negatively affect their image. It's a "damned if I do, damned if I don't" type of situation 🤷🏽‍♀️. Some of the members care about rekindling the friendship while the others are focused on their career and being a financial support to their families. Overall, it seems they've come to terms with B.I being gone and understand that business is prioritized over feelings.

No, it's not worth it! 😂 I said it multiple times that these youngsters will always have less interesting readings as they don't really know themselves enough yet to actually have some kinks or preferences. I’ve been sulking for a few days; looking into texts of other religions and leaving my talisman designed for the Divine Emperors on my bedside table, instead of carrying it around like usual. The reason for this pettiness is my birthday.

Well, kind of.

My birthday was on the 20th (🥳 I’m 26 🎉) and as a gift my Tarot reader gave me a free three-card reading. Instead of approaching Freddie Mercury for a love reading — as has been my wont, given my complex love life at the moment — I decided to ask him to get in touch with the Emperors and see what birthday advice they had for me.

I should’ve known better than to think their message would be a cheerful congratulations or a call to flowery beds of ease. After pulling the cards my diviner said “ouch” and things did not improve from there. They weren’t mean per se — they never are — but rather called me out with some tough love: I’ve been taking the wrong messages from my life experience so far, I need to embrace pragmatism over dreams and ideals when examining the problems in my life, I need to steadily work on my emotions (hard when you’re bipolar), and most damningly “the Emperors believe that your approach to them and the ideals you attach to them is coloured in an unhelpful way by past experiences in your own life, and untangling yourself from that enough to look at them objectively will be helpful.”

These instructions were given in light of the understanding that “they see you as a valuable servant, but also as ore in need of refining” and that I am generally “a valuable enough resource … to them, to be worth improving.” Which is good! Knowing that my relationship with my Lords is one they find useful and worthwhile is a key comfort to me in dark times. Serving them is my vocation. But I still felt wounded by the reading — hurt and confused by their perception that I wasn’t viewing them correctly, frustrated by their commands that I work on myself when it often feels like I’m going around in circles, and angry with myself for feeling as if it’s impossible to improve, all while apparently shooting myself in the foot with misinterpretations along the way.

I didn’t feel much like a valuable servant; just a stagnant and foolish one.

And so I ran away from home, as it were, for a little bit; reading the central text of the Messiah Foundation International and some works on Eckankar, looking for things to buy with my birthday cash such as a portrait of Sathya Sai Baba, and generally distancing myself from my Lords. Petty, I know, but I likewise knew that I’d eventually return to the fold.

Today is the Great Holy Feast of the Holy and Divine Julian’s Ascension; marking the Divine Julian falling asleep in the Gods after being pierced with a spear in battle. I have both a statue and an ikon of Julian in my temple and I lead the Church which is successor to his work — I dearly love him, and today is the right day for putting aside my distress, hurt, and confusion. My Lords are just trying to help me be better, and although it is a daunting task I know they’ll be alongside me, supporting me as I work to do their will and improve myself.

And that, I guess, is really all I could ever ask of them.

Anyone have any input re: popular mental health apps? (Talkspace and BetterHelp have come up, but I'm illiterate when it comes to this situation re: tech.) My insurance does not cover mental health services ∴ |Affordability| > → ∞

The above, posted first on Twitter, is the only way I could condense my inquiry to its character limit, which I obviously despise. (It takes me 240 glyphs to orient myself in writing, for as all who haunt this non-location know well, I am superabundant and wildly baroque in my use of language.)

I find myself at Twitter as often as I do because it's where things are happening. I am not the first to remark that Tumblr is one's own metaphorical bedroom, while Twitter is either the school cafeteria, or the town square. Perhaps because of the way mine was set up, Facebook functioned for me as the people's court of public opinion.

The invitational nature of those platforms proves a personal exercise in daily restraint. Left to my own device(😝), I would wage terrifying flame war throughout the digital land. It is only because of the mediation of the Blessed Virgin* that I am as tolerable as I am, which—it should be noted—is not much.

Anyway, I despise Twitter, yet I am daily to be found lulling about various bits of architecture rendered in binary code, listening and biting my tongue.**

In the process of witnessing, as we say now, "All This", I have taken perhaps more than my share of responsibility, and this has had a negative effect on my mental health. My desperate search for acceptable forms of digital mental health support demanded I revert not only to sentence fragments and abbreviations, but eventually to the implementation of the symbolic language of mathematics and logic to say what I needed within the character constraints, and it honestly felt like I was twisting myself in knots unnecessarily.

But, Greg, you can press the little plus button, and you can add to it.

Mental friend, I am very aware of this. I am also aware that no one reads my tweets anyway, and so I'll be goddamned if I make a 26-unit tweet thread to do what I do here. As I mentioned above, these are different places.

But seriously there has to be a better solution than saying "Woah there Noah Webster, write a newsletter already" when someone's not tweeting an out-of-context headline. The cut-option [implemented above] springs immediately to mind.

All this to say that I am in a complicated mood, and I abhor Twitter's constraints and implications.

 Black-polished fingers hovered over the deck of cards mockingly, a sneer ornamenting his face as if the mere possibility of Changmin drawing something relatable was undefined. Perhaps it was his arrogance speaking, but he had never been one for superstitiousness. Yet, as he lifted one of the cards the smug grin on his lips suddenly dropped. In his palms, The Hermit stared back almost tauntingly. Suddenly, the cards spoke to him, causing goosebumps to vibrate throughout his entire body. “The Hermit? What sort of bullshit is that?” he commented, hazel hues scanning the upside down card in his hand, disgust lingering in his mouth as the image reminded him of his mother. “It is reversed. You are isolated from the world. Alone. You are hiding yourself. A coward.”

 The words caught him off-guard, and suddenly Changmin felt himself shrink, and he became the little boy he used to be; sitting in the kitchen, alone, abandoned, unable to stop the tears from wallowing out. “You lost her. She no longer wanted you. It was your fault.” The voice continued, and Changmin became smaller and smaller. Were these the words of his father? Rage awoke inside of him, and before he could reflect and stop himself his body was on auto-pilot and the world slipped from his senses.

THE CARD FLUTTERS TO YOUR FEET. WHO WERE YOU BEFORE THIS STORY BEGAN?

 Every town has that one kid that had so much potential but decided to fuck it up completely. Changmin used to have it all. Big house, expensive cars, everything on a silver plate. There was no doubt that he was privileged in a way a lot of other people were not, but it was not enough. People always told him that he oughtn't complain, because people had it worse, but money did not make up for the lack of love, money did not make up for the emptiness in his heart; Money could not replace a caregiver he so desperately craved.

 The only person he could depend on was his mother. Subconsciously, Changmin knew that his dependence on his mother would lead to his downfall. At the age of eighteen, Changmin went to bed kissing his mother goodnight for the last time. She was not dead, but if Changmin could choose, he would have preferred that. That way, it wouldn't have been her own choice to leave him with his good-for-nothing father. Leave him for another man, another son.

 Being abandoned by his mother caused him to put up a wall around himself. He swore to himself to never ever grow attached to someone ever again. It was too bad. Changmin was a smart kid. He is a smart kid.He just hides it. Changmin does not know why he hides who he is, but it feels safer that way; that way, no one can hurt him, no one can get to him. It is a mystery who Lee Changmin is, and only a handful of people have gotten the honors to see his vulnerable self. If people from his earlier years met him now, they would not have recognized him. He went from the person with the bright smile to deteriorate from within; he became naïve, distant, and closed-off.

 After his mother's disappearance, Changmin collapsed in on himself, and perhaps that is what led to his carelessness and risqué behavior. Trying to desperately grasp onto his humanity, Changmin started chasing adrenaline rushes; putting himself in dangerous situations to just get a taste of what being human meant, but sadly it was never enough. His recklessness is what caused his downfall, and thus pushed him to a bender that lasted years.

 Years later, it was as if he suddenly woke up and realized what his life had become. Desperate for change, Changmin begged his father to let him escape the suffering streets of Seoul, and thus his life at Gwasuwon began.

The middle of 2022 for IKON?

It seems that in the beginning of this period, some of them are going to be thick as thieves besties and others will be at odds with each other at times. The ones at odds with each other are likely to be unexpected, but it's likely to be covered up in a very smart manner. Only a keen eye will be able to truly pick up that something seems funky with them. Long withstanding ikonics, I'm looking at you. If not this, it could actually be that someone(s) they were once cool with being strangely shady, but as I said, it's going to be covered up/handled in a very clever manner.

In the middle of this period, someone's relationship may be revealed to the public in a unique manner. Like they might be more comfortable showing this side of their lives, thus potentially paving a new path for idols and the way relationships are approached with the public I could see some sort of content where romance/love is discussed where it is brought up. If not this, it's more likely something where ikon or a member will be revealing a bond they have with someone that will be interpreted as a pleasant surprise to the public. For example, Chanwoo may collab with another youtuber or streamer that happens to also be an idol and it will drum up a looooot of attention on many facets.

In the final portion of this part of the year, ikon as a collective is likely to succeed in many areas, but not the ones that they desire? However there is the air of being self aware that they are somewhat neglecting the responsibilities they have to the areas they desire to succeed in. Thus it's feeling a bit scattered, this might not change their approach still. Someone may be have a solo or viral moment during this period, they might have significant fire in their chart. They'll be doing the tango this year it seems, one step forward in some areas and one step backward in others.

I can't help but feel as if someone in the background is messing up their efforts, but not on purpose. They just can't seem to organize things well, maybe it's management.

Venus in Virgo & Mars in Leo

With his Venus in Virgo B.I finds those with a simple and refined beauty highly attractive. Someone with major girl/boy/person next door energy. He likes people with a natural and unassuming look to them and is drawn to those with a sweet and classic sense of fashion. I think the key words are “pretty” and “practical” - nothing too flashy or dramatic, not too many accessories, etc. Definitely someone clean, put together, and with an overall healthy appearance. hi friends! so this is the reading request i got from @snotgurl​ regarding bobby and his ideal type. hope you enjoy this as much as i had fun making it, as usual feel free to send me requests (but read my guidelines first) so without further ado lets get started!

IDEAL TYPE

strength, 6 of cups, king of cups, 5 of swords rx | queen, midas/miser, aquarius: i know, spider

bobby wants someone who’s mentally strong and resilient. with the strength card first i feel bobby looks for someone who has a sort of duality two them, by that i mean he looks for someone who has a graceful and innocent exterior (emphasised by 6 of cups) but can be also be very courageous and forthright, definitely wants someone who can hold their own and handles adversity with a strong but calm approach. the 6 of cups tells me he could possibly want someone who’s younger or has a more youthful spirit and i feel he wants an s.o who’s good with kids too, someone who’s genuine and selfless will for sure have bobby’s heart. the king of cups reiterates the energy of the 6 of cups earlier but it also describes someone who’s emotionally mature and is able to listen and help others with compassion and empathy, i feel bobby wants someone he can show his inner child to but also someone who’s very emotionally intelligent and can respond to situations maturely. with the 5 of swords rx it reiterates the points i made regarding his person being very emotionally mature as this card reversed talks about someone who doesn’t hold grudges and takes accountability for their actions, could also be a person who is often the mediator in discussions. mind you, with all this sensitivity bobby doesn’t want someone who’s a pushover as i feel his ideal type sees their sensitivity as a strength and uses it to help others.

queen card is unsurprising to me as it talks about someone who is very in touch with their femininity (femininity is associated with emotions, intuition, nurturing) and the 2 cups cards above talks about this, the queen card also talks about someone who uses their benevolent authority to protect others. the midas/miser card talks about someone who has an entrepreneurial or creative talent to make money and has no problem sharing it with others, so someone who’s sefless will for sure make his heart flutter. the spider is described as someone who is patient and enthusiastic when it comes to their work, it definitely relates back to the midas/miser card as i feel his ideal type is someone who is both financially and spiritually abundant thanks to their patience and passion when it comes to work, the aquarius card also relates to this as the spider card and aquarius are both described as very innovative. the aquarius card also tells me that bobby wants someone who’s genuine and is unafraid of being the trailblazer, this relates to the midas/miser card as well as aquarians are known to be the humanitarians. the strength card + the aquarius card forms the axis of the two sister signs represented by leo and aquarius respectively, bobby definitely wants someone who takes on leadership and protects others which is represented by the queen card too.
