sorry if this is devling too much but can you elaborate on the t causing increased wetness - asking as someone this happened to and had never heard of anyone else on t talking about it before at all so i'm curious on any input/what other people have to say and/or have experienced?

first i had heard others talking about it was actually quite recently, some folks on twitter who make adult content were saying they'd experienced a huge increase in wetness compared to pre t.

for me, pre t when i got aroused it was (and these are NOT accurate measurements this is for comparisons sake) like a shot glass amount of the ole goo, i could get aroused randomly during the day and it would be zero problem, needed a lil lube for getting things in there comfortably.

now? its like a fucking gallon jug of goo. i get turned on and its a biblical flood, no need for lube at all, gotta go change before i ruin my jeans. i will straight up get dehydrated because of the goo.

rewatching Saiki K got me thinking again

what if his 'inner thoughts'/narration and commentary to the audience, were actually what he was saying to everyone else?

bear with me i swear i have a point

so we've established that Saiki doesn't speak out loud (aside from the couple exceptions, usually when he's caught off guard), he telepathically sends what he wants to say to whoever he wants to say it to, and creates the illusion that his mouth is moving. seems like more work than actually speak but whatever

i think this is quite often treated in headcanon and fanfic that he doesn't talk to anyone at all (obviously write and headcanon however you want to), but i always went under the assumption he does speak, just doesn't initiate conversation. there are definitely times where he's clearly speaking to someone, not just the audience, mainly when talking to his parents, but also definitely sometimes with friends too.

this then presents my headcanon, that whenever he has his witty commentary to the audience while another person is talking to him, he's talking to them too, and just doesn't care

it takes 'oh Saiki's a quiet kid who's secretly harbouring rage and annoyance at everyone around him' to 'Saiki is openly a jerk to everyone and talks about having powers a lot but they all just think he's joking and don't take notice of what he says'

which makes some of his lines a whole lot funnier if you consider he's deadpan saying it to their face

"are you a first grader?"

"wanna throw down, punk?" (one of my favourite lines)

"Girls are as plentiful as the stars in the sky, and equally as out of reach for you"

"so you're basically a fan blade now?"

"there's a harem cliche for you"

"wait... PURGE ME!"

"i know that butt."

"Are you a god?"

"I'd rather fall to my death than go on a date with you"

A short list of things I would have changed in HoO

It takes place ten ish years after the end of PJO. Percy and Annabeth aren’t a part of the seven but instead appear as cool older mentors to help out the Lost Hero trio. They both have careers and live in New York and go to Sally’s house for dinner every weekend.

Caleo isn’t a thing. In fact, let’s not even mention Calypso. At most we mention she was freed after the last war as idk proof demigods have some power or something.

More than 1 Asian character. Give this one ADHD and dyslexia bc shocker Asian kids can be disabled as well.

For that matter a properly disabled character. I have a deaf OC I would use if I rewrote the series.

Leo is aroace. His arc is about learning that his self worth doesn’t have to be tied to the people around him and his friends love and care about him and he doesn’t need romance to be complete. His flirting is overcompensation bc he doesn’t feel romantic or sexual attraction and is afraid he’ll be alone forever.

Drew and Piper become friends. Drew’s mean girl bullshit is outdated and boring and it would have been a lot cooler to see her icy exterior thaw and her help Piper with her charmspeck (explaining how Piper learned how to use it to begin with) and take on an older sister role

Neither Leo nor Piper become head councilors to their cabins because that’s dumb

Keep the chapter title style from PJO. It was so fun and one of the highlights of the series for me. The relatable nature of PJO in general was kinda lost in HoO and it’s a shame bc there was such a variety of characters for people to identify with there.

Give Reyna a girlfriend or at least a homoerotic friendship that can become an actual relationship in the next series or something

Frank is 14 and he and Hazel aren’t dating, they just have mutual baby crushes on one another.

For that matter what the fuck was ‘Frank is magically not fat due to Mars’s blessing’ bullshit? Frank is a fat character who stays fat but learns to be confident in himself and his body type.

Stop The Adultification of Hazel 2k23. Hazel is 13, she’s the youngest member of the seven and despite her trauma I think that should be obvious. I think emphasizing her relationship with Nico could be fun here - he’s in his 20s so him taking a more ‘that older sibling who toes the line between parent and sibling’ role here could be fun.

Also, I don’t want Hazel to have Hecate’s blessing or whatever. Between her being a magical horsegirl and the daughter of Pluto there’s already a lot of room to expand on her powers that was never used - I think doing more with her cursed jewels and metals powers and her learning the other aspects of her powers, like Shadow Travel, would be fun.

Instead I think having a daughter of Hecate as a part of the Seven would be cool, because we could still have a witchy character with mist manipulation and magic powers.

Give Jason an actual personality, please. Bro’s been a child solider practically since age 2 and has spent his whole life with the weight of other teenagers’ lives on his shoulders as praetor - give him perfectionism issues and anxiety. We’re told that he’s spent his whole life helping others compromise instead of being his own person - show that. Let his arc end with him deciding to try and live a mortal life and find out who he is beyond being a war general.

Show us that Octavian’s a piece of shit, don’t just tell us.

Leo and Piper are the ones who fall into Tartarus. Nothing romantic ever happens but we get heavy emphasis on their friendship and we get to see their grief over Leo’s mom and Piper’s grandfather respectively

Piper’s grandfather has died a few months ago and she cut her hair herself when her dad didn’t want to let her due to that (correct me if I’m wrong but it’s a tradition in Cherokee culture to cut your hair when a loved one dies, correct?), which is why it’s all uneven. A lot of her insecurities stem from going from growing up in rural Oklaholma (not in a reservation bc there aren’t any there) without much money to suddenly being catapulted into a millionaire Hollywood lifestyle and having everyone criticize everything about her and be really racist, all while her Dad drew farther away from both her and her grandfather. Her arc would be reconnecting with both her culture and Dad and learning to find who she is and her self worth again.

They defeat Gaea in a way that isn’t so anticlimactic and fucking stupid

H+L moments in 2022

I’ve seen these recaps before so I thought I’d make one with my favorite moments of 2022 since it was such a special year for them (and for us too):

1) I’m gonna start with probably my favorite moment (and this was just the beginning of everything) Louis wears the same blue and green shirt for his shows in Houston and Seattle (aka HS) 28 days apart of each other:

2) Louis pointing nonstop to a Larry sign during his show in Washington (here's the moment in different angles x, x, x):

3) Louis, during his Pittsburgh concert on Valentine's day, wears pants with a butterfly logo on them - a butterfly that was inspired by the movie Papillon, the same movie which inspired Harry’s butterfly tattoo:

4) Louis, on his Reykjavik show, wears a shirt that's written Maison - home in french - on the same day Harry announces his new album, Harry's House:

5) Ok, maybe this is my favorite moment. Harry, during his first concert of 2022, sings You're Still the One while wearing a rainbow jumpsuit (knowing exactly what this song means to us after singing it in 2018 and fonding way too hard while looking up at the VIP box):

6) Harry doodles an "H" and a subtle-ish “L” on his shoes while stunting in Italy:

7) The peace ring makes a comeback in May and then for a few days in September (worth mentioning that the first appearance in September was on the 7th, the exact same day the ring made a comeback in 2021:)

8) Louis and Harry being in Italy at the same time and Louis pretending he is not aware of it:

9) Harry dresses up as Danny Zuko (making him look a lot like Louis) aka a character from Grease aka one of Louis' favorite movie aka a character Louis played when he was young (a play so important to him that he still has the jacket he wore in it):

10) which leads me to this moment, because while wearing a Danny Zuko costume, Harry sang Hopelessly Devoted to You, a song that speaks for itself but that later on, Louis said was his favorite song from Grease:

OFMD~a letter

This show has changed my life. It's unlocked creativity and love I didn't know I had, it's introduced me to people I adore more than the breath I have in my body, and it's opened up a world of acceptance of who I am and who I could be like I'd never imagined.

I wish I could show Our Flag Means Death to that scared little girl who thought the way she loved someone was wrong and tell her it was going to be a revolution in her heart. I wish I could show this to the confused 20-something college kid that was traveling unknown waters without a compass and tell her that there's gonna be something beautiful to navigate with in her future. I'm so fucking grateful that a 30-something me got to see a man reach out to the love of his life when he thought that man was dead and wake him up with loving words and his hand reaching out. That scared little girl finally got to see that happen, and I'm never going to lose how beautiful that was.

I'm gutted to see it go before those men get to navigate the world of being happy together. So so gutted. And so monumentally thankful for what we did get to see.

Thank you to all the cast and crew for pouring love into each frame. Thank you to @davidjenks (and your cool as fuck wife!!!!) for seeing this story as an honest love story that deserved to be told with earnest whimsy and sincerity. Thank you for fighting to give us a second season. Thank you for documenting each moment of creation for us to giggle over after the Revenge sailed off to the horizon. Thank you for showing queer kids that love is worth fighting for, and love is worth giving up the fight for.

I have feelings about this...

Until Dawn is a game where YOUR CHOICES AFFECT THE STORY. That is the core of the game. I don't like the idea of the movie definitively saying 'these are the canon choices', but then again, maybe it's one path...

The story is also tailored to the player in a way. Like, if you say you're scared of needles in the segment with Dr Hill, the killer will chase you with a syringe instead of a tank of gas. They're probably not going to be able to adapt that, which is a damn shame...

There's something unique about Until Dawn that I don't really want lost in adaptation.

There's also the issues with the monsters in the game being of Native American origins. I cant speak for how accurate or respectfully they've been represented in the original game as im not Native American (from what I've gathered, their appearance is better than some other uses, but thats about it), but if they're going to use them, it's better done with someone from the Cree tribe (the tribe used in the game, if i remember correctly) at the helm. Also, please cast someone of Native American descent as Jack Fiddler.

So yeah, I really love the game but it is a game which needs to be adapted with respect and sensitivity.

Ngl. I think liberal colorblindness is like the main reason for a lot of racism I see in day-to-day fandom. “I don’t see race” is nice in theory, but doesn’t match the reality that many of us (especially poc in white-majority countries and spaces) face. Race impacts how we carry ourselves and how society treats us!

When you write/draw/create a character who’s a poc, it’s important to take that into account with how you portray them, or you could very easily recreate some 1930’s nazi propaganda!!

When you draw brown characters being abusive, when you masculinize black women, when you depict all of us as animals, and that’s the only way you portray us in your content, that’s racist, actually. We deserve the same level of nuance and thought, without erasing the context of our cultures/ethnicities, as white people. 😔

LOVE WINS!! The incomprehensible entity above godhood and her incomprehensible wife have become one to kill Mirror 💖

SHE'S HERE!!! Finally I can talk about who and what Love Story is!! All her info + the transparent versions are below the cut! I'm so excited about her o(*°▽°*)o

An entity known as Love Story- a collective consisting of Pandora and Galvarium!

If Galvarium wasn't enough before, Love Story is her everything but tenfold, maybe more... Love Story is highly dangerous, standing at 1500 m, 200 m more than Truth of His World.

She (or they, given that it is both Pandora and Galvarium) is formed during the final fight with Mirror Kagami.

It seems like she is acting as her own entity, however her movements are the two moving in sync.

When she speaks, it sounds like Galvarium and Pandora speaking at once.

An extreme amount of trust is required to form a fusion, which those two obviously have.

Love Story is the one to finally put down Romirr/Mirror/Truth of His World. In a way, it is like a dance between the two.

The only observable hazard she has is hysteria, but that has only been displayed by Mirror, so it isn't likely the result of her presence.

Love Story is unbelievably happy to be herself! Of course, Galvarium and Pandora are just very happy and comfortable with one another!

She has the most fun getting rid of Truth of His World (❁´◡`❁)

She doesn't stick around too much after Mirror is put down- but is around long enough for the others to behold her presence.

Oddly, Love Story is able to be understood and seen by humans. This is most likely due to her existence being a manifestation of Galvarium's and Pandora's emotions.

While Galvarium is never depicted in words (legends/stories etc), Love Story is written about by a lot of people- those who saw her and those who heard stories of her presence.

Here's a few design notes!

She isn't wearing clothes. Much like the LAE, her "skin" mimics clothing.

Her veil, dress, and gloves are very soft, but are very veiny. The veins don't supply any blood, it's purely for looks.

Like Pandora's, the tendrils can deal a lethal amount of poison.

The pink crystal-like structure of her torso and the white of her chest are her insides.

Her veil comes out from the back of her horns.

She does have legs/feet, though they aren't often visible.

The inside of the ring says "This is Your Story" (only the last bit is visible).

The small heart in her horns, above her head, rotates constantly. It spins faster the more she is moving.

things i've learned in gambit:

have a prepped team member to keep watch over the bank if you've got a lot of motes so when the blockers come, you won't lose a lot. help them out so they can get a chance at the heavy ammo. take one for the team if you have to.

same goes for invading and the invader. if you've got someone who's REALLY fucking good at invading (or more than one person), they're the best to send/let go over. for the opposing end, everyone should do their part in keeping a lookout because there's multiple spawning points. if it's a hard hitter, keep wary of sniper points and have heavy hitting guns ready to take them out asap

listen to drifter, sometimes doing what he says is for the best. also he's incredibly motivational

listen to music too. specifically the more laid back kind.

things i've learned in iron banner:

listening to music instead of the dialogue and sounds around you is more efficient and fun

work as a pack, pun intended. you are wolves for a reason.

do NOT go off on your own to chase after someone who's pissed you off. it's probably an ambush/trap, but you also can't let your emotions and need for revenge get the best of you. 9 times out of ten you WILL eat shit and feel bad about it later.

share the green ammo. please. you are most likely not the only person on the team who's carrying around slugs and grenade launchers.

things you can apply for both (and any group-based pvp playlist):

defend your team and look out for each other.

if it's not fun for you anymore and you're genuinely stressed/angry or just not feeling it anymore, just leave. i promise it's not worth it.

don't fucking bring witherhoard unless you're trying to get the catalyst (I think it requires pvp, but if not, then don't). absolute crusty ass no-skill winless behavior

don't be a bad sport and/or an asshole. remember it's just a game but the people who you're playing with are real. if you're teammate is being a dick and confrontation doesn't scare the shit out of you, call them out on it in whatever way so long as you're not also being a massive piece of shit.

pay attention to your pets/kids/family/etc. i promise you no video game is worth fucking neglecting those who rely on and love you. no bullshit, no excuses.

I’m surprised no one has come up with a Hishima-Kubo dynamic yet, because it seems so funny conceptually

I imagine they’ve talked only a handful of times, because Hishima’s already avoidant with everyone, let alone with someone he doesn’t like.

They’re mutually suspicious of one another, playing 5D Chess to see what each other’s deal is.

Kubo wants to rub it in his face so bad, but is biting his tongue from fully going off.

Meanwhile, Hishima doesn’t want to give Kubo any satisfaction in getting riled up. He just deflects like “Ok. 👍” with most of what Kubo’s saying, causing the Angel to talk more than intended the first time or two.

Don’t worry, because Kubo will throw in some lies and half-truths to compensate for the slip-up lol.

(Shiba is never outright mentioned, just looming in the background of these conversations.)
