he's incredibly overworked, constantly running around trying to carry his clan and the yashiro commission on his shoulders

and him being a powerful person, it's likely that you'd be put in constant danger from those who want his position

he might be overprotective because of that, and would very much like to stick to your side 24/7 but obviously he can't

so try to get used to having bodyguards and the shuumatsuban tailing your ass all the time

but on a lighter(?) note: he probably plays really dumb pranks on you☠️

we already know that he's into seeing people struggle and squirm

so i can imagine he purposely sets things up to make you uncomfy or make it easy for him to tease you

he's still very much a gentleman so he won't push it too far but... that doesn't change the fact that he's a sadist

he's not as bad as diluc or childe, but he definitely needs some getting used to

well for starters, he greatly lacks in emotional capacity, he might not even tell you he has feelings for you

he's definitely bossy, does NOT want to be told what to do, even if it's "kind suggestions", he will not be tolerating anything

because of this, it might be difficult when trying to teach him about romantic relationships, he just kinda does whatever he wants to protect his pride

i feel like he'd also be rly pissy, he probably throws tantrums over the littlest mistakes or inconveniences

not to mention he's possessive, i can definitely see him as a more yandere-ey type

so say your final goodbyes to your friends and family because it's likely you're not ever seeing them again☠️

but before you lose hope! if you manage to get on dottore's good side, he might just help you do a factory reset on him

but then it wouldn't be the little electro gremlin we know and love, so you're better off just trying to change him by yourself (you can't)

i feel like he's similar to albedo, except he's sociopathic and a little more cynical

it's pretty obvious, he's experimented and hurt countless numbers of children and god knows what else

his experiments are on par if not worse than alice's experiments

dottore is most likely desensitized from this and rarely worries about your safety, brushing it off by saying, "I can fix it later"

but if we get past all the dark stuff, he's probably a nerd. a huge nerd.

since he was always an outcast and has been lonely for a while, I can imagine him rambling about his project for hours and hours on end

gets really really excited and happily tells you about how he's successfully chopped someone's limbs off☺️🥰

he's always been shamed for what he does, so when you finally accept him he is determined to never let you go. ever.

keeps you around at all times, you're almost like a doll to him

he has some redeemable parts, idek at this point to be honest

as of now, the only information we have on him is the harbinger trailer so this one is a little difficult

since he essentially manages the finances of the fatui, he's rich, even more so than childe

holds money to a very high regard, thinking it can solve and fix any problem

of course money can work in many situations, but rarely does it ever solve relationship issues

will give you gifts and money and other luxuries, but never sacrificing anything else for you

if you complain about him not giving enough affection or time to you, he'll simply state that he is indeed giving his love to you, just in a different form

has a hard time understanding that not everyone thinks about money like he does

he has good intentions and genuinely believes that throwing luxury items at you will convince you that he loves you

but unfortunately he's very set in his ways, i believe it will take some time for him to understand and relate to you

i think he is definitely better than childe, scara, and dottore

as of now it is assumed that he hasn't committed any violent or heinous crimes other than corrupting other nation's economics

he's the type to just sing anywhere and everywhere, it's tolerable since he's a great singer but itd be lowkey embarrassing

drunk 24/7

an extremely heavy drinker, always reeks of wine/alcohol whenever he walks by

requires assistance for when he blacks out while drinking, sobering him up will be a routine

but on a more serious note, he is an archon, an immortal being, while you're a human

much like zhongli, he might not even consider staying with you

he is the god of freedom, and the last thing he'd want is for you to be chained down to a relationship with someone like him

will respect your wishes if you insist on staying by his side, it just hurts knowing that you'll age and grow while venti never looks any different from the day before

even as an archon, he has his own issues to, such as his trauma from losing his friend

you could work him through it, though it might be difficult since he's lived with it for thousands of years

you might also fix his drinking problem if you work out his dead-friend trauma, you'd have to have his trust though

he is most definitely messier than zhongli, but i can see him being a genuinely kind person minus his chronic alcoholism and messy trauma

I did some mathing in my brain about when is AI’s and the Twins birthdays since I’m trying to figure out with what we got in the prologue since Aka never gave anyone birthdays and the time line of seasons is a fuck here. but I’m thinking Ai just turned 16 around the same time she was discovered to be 20 weeks along(5 months) and it starts snowing when her death/20th birthday but the twins birth it also starts snowing with the reincarnation happens.Japan usually starts having snow around mid December til early April so I’m shooting that AI’s birthday is around December while the twins might be late march if im doing a ball park guess I know this is weird thing to bring up in a ask but if Akasaka doesn’t give us birthdays then the fans gonna have to do it with the context clues we get especially since she’s still 16 when the twins are like … 6 months. Idek I’m rambling and want to know of your take cause I love your takes

please undrstand i am saying this with nothing but love but this ask briefly sent me down a rabbithole of forbidden knowledge and insanity and i feel like a lovecraft protag who has seen too much. I THINK i have made sense of all this but.................... listen akasaka clearly didn't think about it the same way i'm doing here so really, i guess i'm the clown in this scenario. heehoo.

The most direct clue we get about when Ai's birthday falls is in Viewpoint B, during her conversation with Kyun. The flashback portion of the story is implied to take place in December (the framing device is set in December and Kyun's recent breakup happened 'right before Christmas') and Ai's upcoming fifteenth birthday is mentioned indirectly; she talks about being about to age out of the children's home she'd been staying in which would put her birthday either in December or January.

This is also supported by the fact that the the snowfall that occurs after her death is noted to be unseasonably early. Given that the series is set mostly in Tokyo which mostly gets its snow in January, December makes the most sense for her birth month. In addition, during the little happy memories montage at the end of the episode, we see the family celebrating Christmas in a space that has exclusively Christmas decorations — so Ai's birthday is not close enough to the 24th or 25th for those sorts of celebrations to overlap. With all that in mind, my best guess for Ai's birthday is late November/early December. I personally like to headcanon it as November 28th, as it matches the timeframe and is when the real life Strawberry Productions Fan Thankgiving event was held.

As for the twins birthday, my instinct was to try and guesstimate this based on the details of Ai's pregnancy. We're directly told by the text that it lasted the full 40 weeks (which is actually not as common for twins — Ruby and Aqua were a bit late!) and that a few months have passed by the time she returns to working as an idol; Aqua and Ruby are using walkers the day she returns from her hiatus and babies are not typically physically capable of using them until around six months old. Obviously the twins are a bit more mobile than a regular baby would be much earlier, but they do seem to be reasonably constrained by the physical limits of their bodies so I feel pretty comfortable saying around six months have passed by the time Ai comes off hiatus. This also makes sense in terms of Ai's health, since it takes about six months to fully recovery from childbirth.

20 weeks post hiatus pregnancy + six months postpartum recovery = ten to eleven months passed between Ai arriving at the hospital and returning from her hiatus. It's also worth noting that she may not actually still be 16 around this time? When Saitou talks about her age, he mentions her becoming a mother at 16 which is obviously the age she had the kids, but it does leave room for her to have had a birthday between getting pregnant and actually having them.

With that 20 week starting point in mind, though, we can use the remaining 20 weeks of her pregnancy to try and narrow things down a bit more.

Using the anime as reference, it seems to be around early/mid autumn when Ai arrives at the hospital. If you look at the greenery behind Gorou when he's up on the roof, you can see there's patches where leaves are starting to show their autumn colours.

Since the hospital is all the way out in Takachiho, where autumn typically lasts between November and early December (if I'm remembering right?), my best guess would be that Ai arrived at the hospital probably late November or early December.

With that in mind, the remaining 20 weeks of her pregnancy playing out in full, that means the twins' birthday must be in mid to late April. This is actually implicitly confirmed to be the case in the series itself: while Ruby's age (and therefore Aqua's by extension) is given as 14 at the start of volume 2, they are already sixteen by the time LoveNow starts airing, which happens not long after they start high school - and the Japanese school year starts in April.

I'm choosing to headcanon them on the earlier side of April, just because that places them smack dab in the middle of cherry blossom season for Tokyo, which both makes them spring babies in contrast to Ai and ties nicely into how cherry blossoms represent rebirth and new beginnings.

Summery: Y/N and Draco has been friends ever since they both started at Hogwarts but ever since Y/N started playing on Dracos mind he hasn’t been able to escape them.

This is one of The most chaotic request I’ve ever had but it’s so much fun to write! he was slightly trickier writing with more prompts but it just added more structure to the story making it a better ending and I’m thinking I should do it more! I chose to write about Draco because it’s been a while! Thank you again for your request!

“All of our friends have a bet going that we will end up together”

“What?” Draco said choking on his drink at the same time, then using the sleeve on his cloak to wipe off all the juice from around his face.

“Yeah, I know right, it’s complete madness” Y/N said folding up the newspaper she was reading, as she then put in on her lap. Glancing over at Draco and noticing the look on his face.

“Am I that undateable?” Draco questioned. Y/N jaw dropping at his question.

“Umm-what...well... no, Draco! Don’t twist my words I never said that!” Y/N shouted at him from across the table, pointing her finger at him as she was screaming. Causing a stir amongst the students and them receiving many.

“Shhh Y/N! Honestly” Draco said while shaking his head as he went back to reading his book.

“Sorry” Y/N replied as she got up going to her next class.

Y/N is a well respected student at Hogwarts. unlike many Slytherins, she is actually kinda and willing to help other students. After getting back in to the Slytherin common room after a long day of helping many people out Y/N threw herself over the desk in the common room which caught the attention of Draco, how she didn’t realise was there.

“Good people are like candles; They burn themselves up to give others light. And you, my dear, are one of those people.” Draco said as he stroked the back of the girls head and hair.

“What are you talking about Draco?” Y/N questioned as she moved around to look at the blond hair boy as he walked away, returning to the seat that he was previously at in.

“All I’m saying is, you’re too good to be helping some of those others that don’t deserve your help.” His reply struck a nerve in Y/N

“Since when do you care what I do, Draco?”

“Since you became one of my very good friends”

“Okay Draco, you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m going to bed.” And with that Y/N gathered all her things and made her way to the girls dormitories.

A couple of days later after Y/Ns and Dracos last conversation he began to realise that he was having increasing feelings towards Y/N so much so that he was beginning to get scared, he’d never felt like this before. As much as he tried to shake off these feelings they only came back stronger and the more he tried to avoid Y/N the more he saw her. Y/N and Draco had a Charms class together today... and Draco was dreading it! Not only were they in that class together they also had to sit next to each other. Draco was watching the door of the classroom open and close with every student that entered, as soon as he saw Y/N walk through the door talking to one of her friends he felt all the heat in his body run to his cheeks and he ocular do anything about it.

“Are you blushing?” Y/N teased.

“What are you blushing for?” Y/N continued as she began laughing as well. Draco refused to look at her until a thought crossed his mind.

“I’m Draco Malfoy, every girl falls for me” he thought so he used that to play at his advantage.

“Y/N? Did you know you’re really beautiful?” Draco said, the smirk evident in his voice.

“Draco?! What are you talking about?” Y/N screeched as the shock took over her body.

“I’m just saying.” Draco shrugged as he turned back around to face the teacher.

Y/N and Draco then spent the rest of the day together laughing and chatting, gaining them many various looks from various pupils in their year. Later on, after their evening meal, they both made their way back to the common room. Eventually Draco said something that made Y/N put him in his place.

“That is the sixth time you’ve complemented me today! What’s going on with you?” Y/N said yet again taken by surprise and by his abruptness. Y/N kept on complaining about it all the way back to the common room. When they finally got there Draco had just about enough of Y/N’s complaining and yet again threw her off course from what he said when they eventually arrived in the common rooms.

“Just Shut up before I kiss you”

“DRACO! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!” Then something dawned on Y/N as things started falling in to place.

“Draco? Are you trying to confess?” Y/N said as she placed her hand on they boys shoulder, turing him toward her as he originally had his back to her. When Draco locked eyes with her all the words in the world left his vocabulary but he was suddenly brought back to attention when Y/N jumped on him, locking her ankles around his waist and gently placing a kiss on his lips.

“Because I like you too.”

Hello!!! Thanks for the complement, here’s mistah upshur with some dogs for you!

And I totally did not insert my own dog in there...

I don’t really have any special differing opinions on him from most of the fandom consensus. I feel like we all kinda came to the conclusion that he is Lovable Bastard, and I love that for us, we out here winninggg

I guess I’ll ramble under the cut doe:

So I guess idek where to begin, but what REALLY drew me in and made me love the character was definitely the snarky, dry humor and attitude that is blatantly apparent from his notes. AGAIN, nothing anyone hasn’t talked about already, but I just love how charismatic you can tell he is just from writing on pieces of paper, Red Barrels really hit it out of the park with that. BIG on using humor to cope. Like. The man had just been brutally tortured and is up in here roasting Trager in his note about him, and then the only thing he writes about his death is a fuckin two line joke. I Love Him So Much. Definitely passionate about what he does (or did ; ;) and I’d guess is pretty hard headed in terms of just getting something done no matter what once he sets his mind to it, not taking kindly to people telling him what to do or trying to stop him. Can be pretty spontaneous in his actions, given he literally follows up on Waylon’s email at the drop of a hat and just rolls up to MM with literally no plan at all, just his camera. This bitch CRAZY. but that brings me to my other thoughts about him:

I’ve always thought like, he probably doesn’t really have any significant relationships in his life, or if there are, they’re few and far between. Considering his job, he probably worked around the clock driving to different locations and interviewing and writing and etc etc and just didn’t find a lot of time for any personal stuff. What made me start thinking that is the fact that, when compared to Waylon’s notes, Miles doesn’t mention anyone. It may just be that Red Barrels didn’t really think it was important, since for Waylon his existing relationships with his wife and sons is character defining, but idk. Waylon thinks, no, expects that he’s going to die. So he writes to people that he knows will miss him, will come looking for him. When that reality sinks in for Miles? No one. It’s “whoever finds my body” and that honestly breaks my heart. Fictional video game men be out here breaking my HEART. Considering he was probably road tripping around for work and happened to be in the area when he got the email, it’s probably safe to say he had no one waiting up on him. idk man. i cry.

I also feel like, from what we also see in his notes, that he has a temper, and responds to negative situations as such. From all the scathing comments he makes in response to his situation in MM, it just made me kind of think that, although you can’t really blame the guy. It makes me think that his trauma from the situation would probably manifest in the form of anger at what he went through, at the people involved, at himself even. But still, as we also see in his notes, he’s genuinely sympathetic towards the patients who suffered under Murkoff, even wishing Chris peace when he gets killed. So yeah, bastard with a heart of gold as we’ve all come to agree on!

welcome to vinyl hour with sav. today we’re going to be talking about bullets (what a surprise). like most of my knowledge about vinyl, this comes from conversations with @forjamia. im putting the rest under the cut because i tend to ramble when it comes to vinyl

there are 10 bullets variations. i’ve made a post with pictures of all of them except the picture disc. i posted pictures of my own picture disc bullets here. The five original bullets presses (orange, yellow, white, clear, translucent red) came out in 2009, and the five represses came out between 2015 and 2018. naturally, the originals are harder to find than the represses, mostly because 3 of them (orange, white, yellow) are extremely limited (208, 100, and 300 copies, respectively). i dont know how many copies of the red and the clear there are, but i think clear is more limited than red (this is based solely on my own experience trying to get my hands on a clear variant. it was an Ordeal to get one).

what i didnt know and what moss @/forjamia informed me about is that the original presses have less vibrant sleeves than the represses. my first original press (red) arrived in the mail today and to save myself the trouble, i recycled pictures of the sleeve from my red/black swirl repress for my translucent red post. which. its the same album art so its no big deal, honestly, but i thought it was interesting to note the color disparity between the originals and the represses. for comparison’s sake, here is a picture of the 2015 red/black swirl sleeve (left) next to the 2009 translucent red sleeve (right):

the red/black swirl sleeve is noticeably brighter than the translucent sleeve. (also, you can see that on the 2009 red sleeve, theres no parental advisory label, like on the 2015 red/black sleeve. this is interesting to me personally, because PALs were already common practice at this time. i mean. my 2006 copy of life on the murder scene has a PAL, as does my 2004 three cheers cd. so why doesnt my 2009 red bullets vinyl? but i mean. my 2005 bullets cd also doesnt have a PAL so idk?? was it something bullets specific?? or maybe just eyeball records specific?? like maybe eyeball wasnt big enough to warrant official jurisdiction by the RIAA?? which would make sense, because three cheers onward is on Reprise which is operated by Warner Music Group).

also a key difference between the original presses and the represses is that the lyric insert on the original presses are on a matte grey cardstock-esque kind of paper, while on the represses, the lyric insert is on a glossy black paper. the originals also seem to include more space between each of the blocks of lyrics than the represses. i genuinely did not notice this until @/forjamia pointed it out. the top pictures are of the glossy repress lyric insert (again, from my 2015 red/black swirl) and the bottom pictures are of the original matte grey lyric insert (2009 translucent red)

i’d say that the only other difference between the originals and the represses (and i think that this has very little, if any, to do with anything; i just think its neat) is that all the originals are solid colors (opaques in orange, yellow and white, and translucents in red and clear), whereas the represses include the swirls (both of which are from 2015) (red/black mcr webstore exclusive and white/red (actually pink) hot topic exclusive). i think this concludes today’s Vinyl Hour With Sav. thank you for reading lol

An Innocent Sin & the good gay flashback ft. my descent into madness

I wasn’t sure if I should post this but I mostly want it archived so here we go. This is from like,, September?

So. “An Innocent Sin” is a dumpster fire unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I don’t remember why I decided to read it. maybe I was crazy. Either way... I read it. It soon started to touch upon (very very outlandish) sexual abuse which I thought was interesting. (the angst, not so much some of the wack circumstances surrounding it)

ANYWAY. at some point... we have a flashback. And not just that. It has a gay character.

And it turns rly gay. which mind you, is still in a het smut manwha (that has a “gay” side couple, but still!)

And it destroyed me.

For those who want to read it because I genuinely think the flashback is a decent bit, it’s all the bonus chapters between chapter 77 and 78 I think. There’s a part before that too, but idk where exactly anymore. (It’s on lezhin! or your platform of choosing)

I don’t THINK you’ll need any other knowledge to get the flashback bit? but it’s been a while.
