It’s literally the whole beginning of their relationship, a truth for truth, trade for trade. The game of, maybe not necessarily originally trust, but of mutual understanding that grows into trust and respect.

Oh Neil, you poor boy cowering in the shadow of your father, his legacy locked within your image and the face you share with him. No matter what new name and identity you create, you know your father will never be far behind, you will always be his son. At least, that’s how it used to be.

Learning to Be Lost

This I feel resonates more with Andrew, but one could argue resonates with both. They both have tortured pasts that are unspeakable to almost all but each other, but Andrew shoves that past and those memories behind a face of calm indifference and apathy. But they are both navigating a relationship with each other that they are unfamiliar with, and didn’t necessarily intend to enter. As they reveal bit and bit of their pasts, they don’t want pity or sympathy, their pasts are what created them and they refuse to be treated as though they are broken, especially Andrew.

THIS IS ALLLLL NEIL BABYYY. Blindly continuing to follow his mother’s words and advice, she kept him safe for so long after all (in her own way). He trusted that she loved him, wanted to protect him, but he missed out on so much because of her. Missed out on friends and life in general, people who might have been able to actually help him. If it wasn’t for meeting people more stubborn than him, for wanting to just exist for once, he could’ve been on the run and never settling for so much longer. Or have died.

They are both so willing to put themselves in harms way to protect the other, even before they came to realize just how much the other meant to them. Andrew with the intention of winning, and Neil half the time not caring if he ends up dead as long as Andrew is alright.

omg it’s finally open!!! so i’ve been looking for these two fics FOREVER, and i can’t find them anywhere :(

the first one was called “the way young lovers do” i think, and it was aaron and katelyn helping neil and andrew set up their new house, and it ended with neil and andrew dancing to the song in their yard. it was very cute and i can’t find it no matter where I look

and the second one was aaron meeting katelyns parents for the first time, and they are super conservative and hate aaron, so they invite neil and andrew to be there to take the heat off of aaron. i remember neil saying andrew bought him a cartier bracelet and he wanted the one in a different colour, and just being a brat in general?

if you're going to the shows on Feb 10-11, please look for a couple of things for me 🥺:

wad posters outside and inside the venue. any posters with Dan's face, actually (please take pictures if you see some)

cameras in the theatre and if they have any indicators of who they belong to (for example, branded stickers, branded bags, etc.) (also, pics, please) update: got pics, no visible indicator.

Sarah and Kelly at the merch booth (i'm just curious if Martyn asked them to help). update: Sarah is there, so are Luke and Neil. no Kelly.

merch booth in general. if anyone sends me pictures of the whole thing with visible prices i'll love you forever. update: got pictures. but i need to know if all sizes are on sale (FEB 11)

if you have a m&g ticket, buy Dan a ruler and tell him it's to fix his promo materials, please <3

Just gonna toss this out there, then I have to get back to my SciFi edits and the GO fanfic I'm writing (titling it "The Gift of Words" just to be mean and hint).

A lot of people keep equating Aziraphale to a warrior because he once had a flaming sword and was tasked to guard the Eastern Gate of Eden.

I'd like to dispute that, now. And this is just my take, so feel free to disagree with me, or believe whatever you wish. We're all entitled to opinions, here, and the only one that really gets the definitive say is Neil. :)

Nothing about Azi reads "warrior" to me. In fact, he flat-out REFUSES to fight when told to line up and be counted for war in S1. That's not the action of a warrior. Warriors fight. As for the whole flaming sword thing -- if you check out the Archangels, etc, in Biblical/Catholic canon, pretty much ALL of them have a flaming sword at one point or another. Doesn't mean much, for my money, other than "this is to make sure you're paying attention to me when I talk to you."

And yes, I get that he has protective vibes about certain things / beings. But protective doesn't meant warrior. We've all, at some point or another, felt the need to defend something or someone.

To me, from my first reading of the book and going straight through the end of S2, Aziraphale has always vibed Love and been more of a healer than a warrior. He even tells Maggie at the beginning of S2 that forgiveness is one of his favorite things. To forgive, you have to love. You can't hate something and forgive it (I speak from personal experience there... and it also segues another subject I'll talk about another time: what I think Azi's really saying every time he tells Crowley "I forgive you."). And Azi is unfailingly kind to people, even if he's sometimes misguided in how he does it. He gives Adam & Eve his sword, knowing it'll cause him trouble, because "it's going to get cold and dark, and she's expecting!" He watches over Job's children, even in gecko form, checking to make sure they're okay. He's absolutely broken about Jesus (listen to his tone of voice when he's talking to Crowley) being crucified -- he feels helpless to prevent it, but it's clear he wishes he could stop it. He wants Shakespeare to succeed, tries to encourage the actors on the stage, refuses Crowley's request for holy water because "it won't just discorporeate you. It'll destroy you!" He tries to save Elspeth's soul (misguided), and is gentle and kind to wee Moraig. There are countless examples of his gentleness and love for humans and occult/ethereal beings alike.

Everywhere he's given the option, he acts in a healing capacity. He doesn't dispute being called a "doctor" though he could, and the image of him clutching that jar with the young boy's tumor in to to his chest, that stricken look on his face, will be forever burned into my mind. He heals Anathema in the book and in S1.

Yes, I know the argument "but he tried to shoot a child in S1." What those people are failing to pay attention to is that it wasn't just some random kid, and he didn't even want to do it, at first. He was trying everything else he could to get out of doing it. He even tried (until the very last moment) to pawn the task off on Shadwell. The only reason he tried, instead of handing the gun to Crowley, in that last moment, was because he was no doubt trying to protect Crowley from Hell's wrath.

Would it be awesome to see Azi just lose his shit and level Heaven in S3? Umm... Yeah.

Does it feel like part of his character to me? Probably not. Not unless Crowley is in direct danger.

I have my theories. :) I'm just writing my fanfic and waiting to see if my S3 bingo card comes up a winner or not. The rest, I leave in Neil Gaiman's capable hands.

While we wait, have fun theorizing and writing, and just being a generally, amazingly unhinged fandom (meant with great love... I enjoy being part of it, and I'm every bit as unhinged. lol).

Playlist Analysis: #5 - Like Real People Do

#5. Like Real People Do – Hozier

This is a Crowley song.

Overview:

I wasn’t super aware of Hozier prior to what Neil, Michael, and David done to my brain in season 2. All the Instagram edits and animations told me how much people associated the band with the show so I decided I would intentionally seek them out for this playlist. I listened to this song based on the name, but it took multiple listens to decide that it fit. It may be clear by now that I spent a COMPLETELY NORMAL AND REASONABLE AND NOT AT ALL WEIRD amount of time curating this playlist. I didn’t choose anything frivolously.

This song is present because it is a song of fear, NOT a love song, and it makes me sick. This comes after A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square because it represents the general direction of the characters for season 2. It’s about being curious and looking for answers but NOT asking questions; we know how much trouble one can get in for just asking a few questions. It’s about burying things that you want or need to hide. It’s also about running away from your problems. This is a Fall™ trauma song.

Lyrics:

This song is Crowley speaking to Aziraphale. Only in his mind – since we know they never talk about anything important. He is thinking about something that still frightens him. A time in his life when he was metaphorically buried under filth, corruption, and vermin.

Why were you digging? What did you bury Before those hands pulled me From the earth?

Aziraphale is the epitome of the British tradition of having a stiff-upper-lip. He buries every emotion he has unless he knows it is 100% safe to show it, and even then, he might still try his best to keep it hidden. He wears his Heavenly veneer like a Good™ little Angel; never betraying doubt, worry, or anything that could be considered anywhere near blasphemy. In Eden, Aziraphale may have metaphorically pulled Crowley from that filth, corruption, and vermin with his admission of giving away his sword (see I'll Be Your Mirror analysis). Was Aziraphale doubting the Great Plan even when only two humans existed?

I wonder about The Fall. What was it like? Was Aziraphale witness to it? Did they see one another during the War in Heaven? By the Nopocalypse, Aziraphale holds command over a platoon (likely around 40 soldiers but up to 100). When blowing up his halo, he says he hasn’t done it since the war; so we know he fought. He’s a soldier, he was there, and he fought on the side of Good™. Did Crowley fight? Furfur claims he was there. But Crowley is an artist, not a warrior. Did he fight then, only to lose and develop the response to forever run from conflict? Or did he break ranks immediately because he was built to create, not to destroy? Did they hurt one another during the battle or show mercy or even have the opportunity for either option? Whatever happened, I’m sure neither have ever considered broaching the subject. It’s in the past and that’s where it should stay.

But should it stay in the past? These two need to understand each other and you can't do that through smitten gazing and coded speech. It’s so horribly inappropriate for Aziraphale to say, “I don’t think you understand what I’m offering you.” I don’t think he meant to say Crowley is incapable of grasping the gift of redemption he’s offering. I believe his intended meaning was, “You don’t understand that I’m offering us safety. Who would complain about two angels in love?” But Crowley has been on both sides. He may be optimistic in general terms, but he's also terrified. He’s unforgivable. Last time he had strong opinions in Heaven, he was punished for it. He doesn’t want to fight and he doesn't want Aziraphale to fight. He wants to run. He wants to ignore the problems, and the dangers, and the promise of the end of the world by one side or the other and just be with the being he loves. To be together, carefree, the way real people live. “If Gabriel and Beelzebub can do it, go off together, then we can.”

Aziraphale is always looking for answers; for a solution. He tries to find any way to avert the apocalypse in season 1 even after Crowley (who convinced him to do it in the first place) has given up. He seeks to protect Jim and uncover the truth in season 2. In the Companion to Owls segment, he admits his doubts about the righteousness of Heaven and fully prepares to fall. He’s 100% convinced that is the path he’s chosen. Crowley knows what it was like to fall and he doesn’t think Aziraphale would like it. He knows Aziraphale wouldn’t like it. They’re reflections of one another. Opposite but the same. Crowley dug long ago for answers and ended up swallowed by the muck. Aziraphale dug for answers and found Crowley. Crowley doesn’t need to ask what Aziraphale has questions about because he already knows.

The subtle change in this chorus from “neither should you” to “neither would you” says that there has been some mutual understanding that they aren’t going to talk about it. “I guess there’s nothing more to say.” There is still a longing for sweetness, but Crowley still fully intends to retreat in the face of adversity.

The change from will/would not to “could not” is significant here because of the change between willingness and ability. It’s no longer about choosing not to communicate, it’s about lacking the resolve, or the tact, or the emotional capacity to have the difficult conversation required to truly understand the hidden feelings and fears of the other person. Rather than face these difficult things we haven’t ever had to say out loud, put sweet nothings on your lips and share those with me instead.

Alright, so I'll begin with Edward.

Well, truthfully, he's a bit heartbroken.

His darling?!

Sick?

Not HIS darling!

Oh the humanity!

Is he dramatic as fuck? Yes.

Does it make you laugh? Yes.

Was that his intended goal from the beginning just to see you smile?

.... yes.

Aside from him obvious playing court jester to your clearly spoiled rotten royal self, he's quite helpful.

He'll do for you what his Uncle Wayne always did for him when he was sick.

He'll get your medicine and make sure your temperature is too right.

Not too hot, not too cold.

He'll make sure you've eaten.

And just generally look after you.

But the thing about Eddie when you're sick is that he is stuck to you like glue.

He will NOT leave you alone.

He knows that he feels rotten when he's sick and he adores you.

Therefore, he won't want you to be alone.

He figures if you've got to get through the sickness at least he can keep you company and keep your spirits up.

10/10 you will have to force him to chill with cuddles and kisses though because,

"I don't care if I get sick, babe. Then you can take care of me too."

For the love of god, please lay down the law and do not let that boy get sick.

He is a terror.

You think he's dramatic when he's fine?

Honey, you ain't seen nothing.

However, it's all smoke and mirrors because he really does crave the love and attention.

And if you'll just be there for Eddie in a calm, helpful manner than shows that you care about him and his well being it will mean the absolute world to him.

He is quite like a puppy.

Pet him, feed him, show him kindness and he will love you forever.

Now, onto Mr. Harrington himself.

Well, I'm sure you assumed as much but it is full Mommy Steve mode.

And he knows it.

You know it.

And he knows you know it.... and that he knows it.

So don't expect to reason with him because he is NOT having it.

Has no problem telling you no.

Like at all.

You WILL take your medicine.

You WILL lay in this bed.

You WILL rest.

And you WILL like it.

Well, you don't have to like it.

He'd prefer it if you did but he's also not willing to budge.

Steve loves you endlessly and the thought of you being sick is absolutely awful to him.

Not on his watch.

Also, lowkey kinda beats himself up because you're sick in the first place.

Even though rationally that makes no sense because he can't control bacteria.

But Steve puts a lot of pressure on himself and this definitely extends to you whether you like it or not.

So while he is the doting boyfriend, he straight up lays down the law.

I hope you're not feeling feisty enough to argue because he simply won't hear it.

However, will most certainly hold you and give you all the attention you want with no regard to his own health.

Watch his ass thought.

That mother fucker will end up sick himself and HIDE it from you so you won't worry.

Watch him like a hawk and then subsequently baby the shit out of him.

Because he deserves it, god dammit.

Billy surprises HIMSELF the first time that you become sick since you started dating.

He won't outwardly show it but oh my god, he is so damn worried.

Like, you're his baby.

He loves you so much.

He can't stand the thought of you being miserable.

Surprisingly, he is actually quite the little nurse!

The sad truth is that Neil is a jerk and honestly Billy has spent most of his life taking care of his damn self.

So he's acquired a fair bit of a knowledge without even realizing it.

And also... he 100% uses this as a chance to spoil the absolute shit out of you under the excuse of you being sick and him just being a decent human being.

He struggles with being vulnerable or showing care and affection (mostly because he's afraid it's going to be snatched from him) but the boy thrives in caring for you while your ill!

He feels slightly guilty for greedily sucking up how needy you've become.

You want him always and crave his attention while you're sick because truthfully you feel pathetic and rotten from whatever has plagued you.

And he's torn because it kills him to see you so clearly unwell but he also secretly loves how dependent you are on him when you are like this.

This is 'slightly' toxic but honestly, considering the shit he's been through and how much he's worked to be a better person both for himself and for you... he can be cut a little slack when it comes to this.

Besides, he'd never intentionally keep you sick or anything like that. He wants you better.

It's just that when you fall ill, he BOLTS into action.

Nurse Billy to the rescue for his love!

Now, much like Steve, when Billy is sick, he is probably going to hide it.

But lemme tell you a secret, you get a hold of that boy and dote on him as if your life depended on it.

Coddle the absolute shit out of him.

He needs it and he fucking deserves it.

In general, I love these characters because in some way or another, I see a certain part of myself in them, good or bad. Their principles, their outlook in life matched and also shaped my own. I also admire them so so much. They all have left an undefinable something with me. I've also given part of myself to them. We all do with characters and stories that resonate with us.

(I'll post the explanation for each one in a separate post because it's taking me forever to write it out. It's a dissertation at this point. lol)

I'm losing my mind over GO2

Okay, so I'm having a lot of feelings about Good Omens Season 2 but I know not everyone has seen it yet so I'll hide this a bit, even if I am trying not make it as non-spoilery as I can and also I need to talk to people about this

First of all, if I see anyone trying to fucking boycott or get pissed at Neil Gaiman, you can go straight to hell. Or worse, heaven. And I hope Terry Pratchett makes fun of you. Neil has said that this is act two of three (I'm paraphrasing and act three is not definite just a hope) and to leave these characters on this cliffhanger? If we don't get a season three, it will not be by Neil's choice. Boycotting will only hurt chances of getting that season three and a (hopefully) happier ending. I was bawling my eyes out and am still a mess over the end of the last episode but I also firmly believe that this is not the end. Keep it together, people. We're not going down the toxic landslide of blaming creators and causing a fuss and demonising ourselves as fans and making people hate us and destroying something we all love.

Secondly, I need to talk about that ending. I do not and will not hate Aziraphale for it. Our Angel is definitely being manipulated but it also shows the depth of religious trauma. If anyone has religious trauma, it's Aziraphale. Throughout both seasons he speaks party lines of Heaven even when he's clearly unsure about them. Even when he disagrees, he keeps repeating that god's plan is the right way and if (insert whatever monstrosity) is god's plan than it must be right. Look how far he pushed it with Job - he kept checking and double checking and questioning to be sure that Heaven was doing the right thing. And when he sided with Crowley and helped instead, he genuinely thought he was going to hell for it. Even though it was a good thing and he recognised that it was a good thing. The same goes for the situation with Elspeth to a degree. Aziraphale kept trying to take the moral high ground with her and ruin her chances until it became clear that doing bad things now meant good things later. Like god, he was focussing on the big picture instead of the small one. Not about Elspeth and her needing to eat and survive, but that humans will learn more and be able to survive better as a whole.

Someone else worded it much better than I will (I'll try and link their post later if I can!) but there's also the fact that Aziraphale and Crowley are having two different conversations at the end of the last episode. Go read their post to get the full story because I wholeheartedly agree with them and it really is worded much better, but long story short is that "nothing lasts forever" means two different things. Crowley hears that they don't last forever, that the bookshop doesn't, that nothing does and it's not worth it because what's the point (which has been in Crowley's own thoughts), while Aziraphale means that they can't continue like this forever, they can't be static, they need to adapt because what they tried hasn't worked. Honestly, just go read the post. Please.

NOW FOR NICER THINGS

I'm genuinely not sure some scenes were even real. The dance (the ball and sorry), the Bentley, just some of the lines where I just wanted to melt and live in that moment forever. Seeing their love spanning centuries and the ridiculous mischief they get into. Jim in the fucking fur coat. BEFORE the fall. The fact they all REMEMBER before the fall and the war. Bee being goals, honestly. Them and Gabriel. I just...Oh my god.

Also, you have no idea how much I lost it when I saw posts comparing to the end of Supernatural. I can't with you guys, my neighbours probably heard me cackling.

AND and that was the queerest shit I've ever watched. And there was no bury your gays, nothing homophobic, nothing like that even mentioned. And not just our three main couples, but in the background too. The magicians partner, so many generally NB angels/demons, tough bloke with grindr, it's all over the place. I love it. All I ever want is queer media that doesn't make queerness the main part of the plot. And by that I mean that it's just two people falling in love or just queer people existing without things having to revolve around traumatic/uncomfortable experiences or reactions. All I ask for is happy queer media.

And Michael Sheen's twitter picture....Boy, you're killing us. Not to mention Neil and "wait and see"

Someone asked for more about the mental pacient au so

First and very important: Neil has long hair because the one time gheyr tried to cut it he managed to get the scissors and almost stabs someone

In this version, Neil still ram away with his mom. However, she got killed when he was 15, and he got back into his father's claws

Nathan had no problems dismembering Mary's corpse limb per limb in front of his tied up and crying son

So neil is a little bit unhinged

He took after his father— not because he wanted to, but because he had no other options, anyway.

However, Ichiro saw him and decided that Neil was somewhat tolerable

They weren't exactly friends, but Ichiro didn't kill him so that's something

One day, Nathan managed to get himself caught by being too much of a show off and leaving his fucking ADN in a victim

Even Neil went "What the actual fuck Nathan are you fucking stupid how can you do something so-" at this mistake

But hey his dad is in prison and he's in it too because that's life

He calls Ichiro full on about to throw up

"What do I do now? They have him! They- they have me"

Ichiro isn't happy that he called, the cops could try and track the phone. But this is somewhat his fault, isn't it? He should have supervised that someone as involved in this as Neil got a proper education.

"What are the options?" The older one asks, because he's actually never considered this idea. He never thought the fbi would land hands on Nathan, and even less that they would be able to get Nathaniel.

"They..." Nathaniel swallows, scared, clearly "they said that if I testify they'll get me somewhere that is a bit better than the prison"

Ichiro isn't stupid. He knows Nathaniel could survive very well in prison. This isn't about being thrown in a cell.

This is about getting away from Nathan and avoiding him as much as possible.

"You are more stupid than I thought if you think I'll let you live with that idea"

Neil stutters, and he reminds the moriyama of one of the rabbits he had as a pet when he was younger. Poor thing ended up dead.

"No! I know my place, my lord- this could be good for you! For us, I mean... yes, good

That's interesting. You see, Dad? This is why I tolerated Neil he think to himself.

"I will testify, I'll tell them everything except for the involvement that could get you on... trouble. I'll make the interviews, and- and I'll tell them he never responded to anyone else, and..."

The Plan Nathaniel did about getting the attention out of the moriyama's is precarious, but it works. Ichiro is satisfied with this, and in return he allows the boy to live.

Listen I don't care how unrealistic that would be it makes sense to me.

The FBI believes everything Nathaniel says- and he's thrown in the mental facility. He's barely 18 now, but his body count is enough to get him a very, very long sentence.

He's left at his own fate, since the most Ichiro does for him is send him a change of clothes the day he's admitted in.

So neil grows to be this very BOOM kind of person.

He's nice to the kids in the hospital, and can be seen as a quiet boy. Generally.

Except he managed to almost kill two nurses with his bare hands one time they tried to sedate him.

So he works with the fbi, and he makes one or two interviews— this whole story goes popular so quick that Nathaniel is soon the talk of the fucking world.

Some people argue that he's still a kid and shouldn't have to be locked up forever.

Some say that the craziness comes in the blood and that he's better loved away.

It's a mess, really, but he's constantly working with the FBI and making sure they don't get their noses too much into the moriyamas. He even manages to call Ichiro from time to time to warn him when things could get hard. In payment for his help, his sentence gets one or two years reduced from time to time.

One day, his father is killed in prison. Some of his "friends" get him a cake out of the blue

He's 24 now. Everyone working in the hospital knows about him and his horrible personality, and everyone staying knows about his kindness and understanding to others.

And one day, the FBI says he's got to help in yet another criminal understanding shit. Because for some reason Nathaniel always manages to catch on things the fucking feds don't.

He wonders if this is yest another serial killer or maybe a gang leader the one they're going to study.

Turns out it's HIM.

hi!! thank you so much!! i agree - it's so nice to just... actually take the time with music these days when it's so easy to let things pass you by or listen passively. i listen to music most of the time so i know sometimes it can just be background noise, but i do really love sitting down and engaging with it properly.

okay so i’ve been doing the 1001 albums thing chronologically and i’m up to about 1970 right now so this’ll be very 60s-loaded i think but i’ll pull some of my favourites from after that as well!! i’ll do it by decade (even if the other ones i say by an artist might b outside that) :) i’ll write a little blurb for some just if i do for all i think it’ll get too long to post!

bob dylan - the freewheelin’ bob dylan: i loveeee early 60s american folk music so i mean. yeah. i think it’s really well-rounded album in terms of the songs and i just really like all of them! also: highway 61 revisited and blood on the tracks

sam cooke - live at the harlem square club: this album knocked me out the first time i listened to it. the mood in that room is chilling they LOVE him and it’s brilliant. just so involving it’s one of the albums i’ll recommend to anyone i just think it’s phenomenal

otis redding - otis blue: so so so good!! im a big fan of his stones cover :)

the beatles - rubber soul: unfortunately i enjoy like all their albums but this might be the only one i’d pick as a favourite generally? i mean maybe not i do love a couple of others lotsss but my beatles album thoughts are for another time haha

modern life is rubbish - blur: LOVE THIS ONEEEE <3 im a britpop fan at heart and this one is so awesome. and such a showcase of the fact they were actually good (and better than oasis). such a great album lots of good songs and a really good overall feel to it i think. really obviously 60s influenced too i think which i like a lot! also parklife and self-titled

lauryn hill - the miseducation of lauryn hill. just phenomenal all round in terms of quality across the board

different class - pulp: best album of britpop no joke. i feel like it’s almost a concept album but not quite, so many good songs and such a brilliant immersive general feel to it. probably also top 5 for me...

19. What are some books or authors that influenced your style the most? My style? I'm not sure, in all honesty. I haven't been reading all that often lol ^^;; I like to think possibly Neil Gaiman? Love his shit and read Coraline all the time as a child, so maybe I should revisit that and Good Omens to see if it has lol but other than that, I'm not sure (I do know that Studio Ghibli movies has heavily affected me and my original writings, so there's that lol)

20. What is your favorite trope to write? I don't think I write too many tropes, now that I think about it. I just write whatever I wanna write lol At least, none come to mind when I try to rack my brain for any. Tropes never really interest me, and I think I only like it when it fits whatever fandom I'm in or that set of characters--like for Damien and Miranda, and I love the childhood friends trope for them, but I wouldn't say it's my favorite trope. I think it all just depends on what piece of media I'm obsessed with for that month lmao

37. when creating characters, what comes first: appearance, backstory, motivation, personality, something else? I would have to say personality, I think. Appearance usually comes last, especially for the whole outfit or body of them--at most I'll usually make like a headshot of them, or just a general idea so I know what to imagine lol but names always come last. I put way too much time and effort into names and put so much thought into it, so much research, and it's just something I always do last. It took forever for me to give my OCs names, and still two of them don't have any lmao

OMG i love that!!!! blondie are SO good i love dancing to their stuff. do you have a favorite blondie song? its been good! very rainy & i had a test but i think i did good on it:) how was yours? top ten, i realised halfway thru i'd run of of like. text so i stopped giving long explanations … i am just very. talkative sometimes haha 1) lulu by metallica & lou reed: i am very much aware that it is considered one of the worst albums ever created but i PERSONALLY think thats cuz people just dont understand the concept of it. & are not familiar w/ lou's work. i think its a masterpiece i think its a very unique and poignant album and listening to it makes me go insane. i think its really just a phenomenal album and i will literally die on this hill. my #1 album of all time 1.5 (2) bummer by cleopatrick: i sometimes cite this as my favorite album of all time when i don't feel like causing drama over lulu. more often i'll cite it as my favorite album of all time because i am the hardcore cleopatrick fan ive been listening to them since like. 7th grade and i love this album so MUCH its literally so good, the lyrics are flawless the flow is phenomenal the drumming on this is LITERALLY unparalleled. and the guitar tone is SO good. and all the songs are sooooo good like 2008??? literally one of the best songs ever. great lakes is a masterpiece and so is vic park and the drake and…its just SO good. instantly lifts my mood 3) welcome to hell by venom: i love the evil vibe plus ppl take it so seriously when venom literally wear the sluttiest outfits possible

4) blank generation by richard hell: my first introduction richard hell was an article by lester bangs where he talked about how he thought richard hell's music is incredible and how he thought that richard hell had a great grasp of the problems of being alive in the 70s but his solutions were absolute dog shit. which made me want to listen to the album, as a good review will, and now its one of my favorite records. forever mad this is the only proper LP they did. i love his delivery, the guitar work is so unique, and i think the lyrics are still so real & relevant 5) pretty on the inside by hole: sooo raw im a big courtney fan tbh i love her work. holes best album was for sure live through this (nobody's daughter is a close second imo!) but pretty on the inside is my personal favorite cuz its pink! & bc i think its the rawest of holes discog. i like the discordantness of it its so exciting to me 6) welcome the plague year self-titled: PHENOMENAL scramz album its so raw & i think its the best album from that era of scramz & i just adore it. 7) germ-free adolescence by the x-ray specs: prob the only british punk band from the 70s or 80s id cite as a favorite, i just adore everything abt this album 8) lets take it to the stage by funkadelic: groovy! funky! rocking! also i love bootsy collins 9) are you experienced by the jimi hendrix experience: cures headaches somehow?? not complaining though 10) rust never sleeps by neil young: first neil young album i listened to, hes definitely my favorite singer/songwriter of the 70s :) honorary mention to blue by joni mitchell, grateful dead's 13th february 1970 at fillmore east show even tho its not an album, opening fire by powertrip & killing is my business… by megadeth i think i've put you through enough reading with this for today so have a nice day!! i hope the whole thing sends LOL

that’s such a good list! i’ve just gotten into richard hell recently, and i haven’t listened to that full album yet but i’ll have to give it a go for sure!!!

picking my favourite blondie song is so hard omg. i’d probably have to go with dreaming, denis or hanging on the telephone, but picture this, in the flesh and atomic are very much up there! what’s your favourite?
