If i had a nickle every time a huntlow shipper started a friendly conversation with me but it quickly devolved into them aggressively sending me the same 3 screenshots or repeating the same 3 ooc headcanons to convince me that the huntlow ship is canon and therefore it must be good and therefore i have to like it, i would have at least 4 nickles.

Hey!! Love your art and your meta posts. I was wondering about your thoughts on something because I don't think I've ever really read about much of it in canon (might be missing something though), but do the batkids have their own Brucie Wayne-esque personas? I figure they'd be expected to act a certain way, like they've been taking in by a party loving play boy, they're gonna be a at least somewhat spoilt social butterflies right? I just can't stop thinking about the kids hitting like teenhood and having to adopt and put on that kind of act because it would be a little suspicious if nothing about Brucie rubbed off on them. Maybe they steal Bruce's cars or crash a gala, something staged just for the tabloids like that. Idk, I just find the idea of (most of) the kids not being raised anything like that and having to act up in the name of keeping their identities safe really interesting because I don't think they'd find it fun, I think it would actually gross them out to throw around money and act like brats.

lovely anon this is SUCH a fun question and i shall answer it in parts. the first is this — what is the purpose of the bruce wayne persona?

bruce created a specific public image of himself for several reasons — to deflect any suspicion that he’s batman, to justify his frequent disappearances from the public eye, and to be consistently underestimated by people he was in opposition with (gothams corrupt elite, the gcpd, etc). the popular interpretation of this is that he’s like a kardashian, but to be honest id say he’s a lot more like a donatella versace— relatively reclusive but who occasionally pops up doing the weirdest shit ever. he posts on dick’s insta like bruce WAYNE ❤️

wrt his kids, no, i don’t think many of them have that sort of glamorised persona. part of it is that the “gala” trope in fandom just…… doesn’t really exist in the comics? like bruce will take vicki vale to an event, or go to a luthercorp thing to gather intel, but the idea of everyone hitting up an event at the gotham four seasons is not a common story beat. and even then, again, the performance has a purpose outside of just being a distraction.

in particular, u have to consider how his kids are different from bruce. jason and dick were both lower class, if not actively below the poverty line and acting spoiled won’t win them any favours. cass straight up isn’t interested in that kind of performance. damian is honest to a fault. duke has his own family that he’s proud of. when u consider that damian and cass and duke and dick also aren’t white, u have to think about how acting like a glitzy idiot would help them in the same way it would bruce. short answer — it very much wouldnt. many people will think less of them regardless. it would be dehumanising, and because none of them have that same degree of disconnection from the standard person that bruce has, how would them being seen as spoiled idiots help them?

dick has always lived with civilian neighbours, had civilian jobs, and fostered civilian relationships. him being a cop was bad, but he takes a lot of pride in being someone who’s like… dependable. a good neighbour. jason is legally dead, but he wouldn’t have wanted to be seen as the dumb poor kid either. cass would probably play with peoples expectations of her, but not like an established persona that she has to take on. duke is, again, very attached to his family and where he grew up, and is very aware of assumptions people might make about that. damian would rather kill himself than pretend to be an idiot. tim, again, is a strong maybe, but i also don’t think he’d give a shit. he really values keeping himself as tim drake intact, away from robin. he wants to keep being himself.

i just think most of them would stay out of the public eye. remember — bruce isn’t active online. there is still massive control over released information about him, especially with babs. i think they would purposely make themselves boring and unassuming.

the short answer is that none of them, truly, possess bruce’s raw commitment to the bit.

whether you birth your own kid or adopt one, he would still love it with his most. gepard is super sweet and he wants to make sure you both are happy and to live comfortable in life.

even though he can be super busy and always have shifts as the captain of the silvermane guards, he will always always always attend to his child’s performances, birthdays and just in general a present father to them.

he would spoil his child/children so much… sometimes you have to tell him not to. but how could he deny those puppy eyes. he would attempt to sing lullabies or read stories to them all the time. you caught him one time trying to sing a lullaby and he just turned into a flustered mess.

would cook them meals and pack them snacks if needed. isnt the best cook but also not the worst. would always protect them and teach them how to do self defense. would let auntie serval babysit them if needed if you both are away.

overall a very good father figure. the type to listen to what his kid/s has to say. can be stern enough when lecturing his kids but you also have to be there or else he starts feeling really bad when his child starts tearing up after his lecture.

jing yuan

strict but sweet dad. he wants his kid to grow up responsible and strong while they also have fun but be also disciplined. (yanqing duh) sometimes you have to tell him to take it easy on yanqing and he understands where youre coming from. even though he is strict, he wouldnt insult or shout at his kid.

would bond with his kid a lot because bond is simply irreplaceable. he genuinely wants yanqing/his kid to be happy at what he is doing and regardless of what they want to do, he’d support it.

the father figure where his child can open up to him about anything. he would listen intently and give them a solid advice or answer a silly question. he would often relate them to his past experiences and tell them what he did in a similar situation.

is never worried. very confident in his kid/s abilities. lets say yanqing got an injury and he just isnt worried. already attending to him/asking doctors to heal him, while he has to calm you down. his kid is strong because they got it from him (doesnt care if its not hereditary, they still got it from him.)

Reasons why the simpsons hit and run stream is jerma's best stream

it's ELEVEN HOURS LONG

you get to witness his slow descent into madness as he insists on playing the whole game in one sitting

I can watch it when i replay the game, would recommend makes it way more enjoyable

he spends too much time doing really bad impressions trying to copy voice lines for the game and yelling "HIRE ME IM AVAILABLE"

He decides to confess half an hour in that he knows nothing about the simpsons and has only seen like one or two episodes

this is ten minutes after he references a specific episode, and then proceeds to get told off for 'spoiling' an episode of the simpsons (from like 1995) by chat

Chat also somehow manages to convince him that ten year old boy Bart Simpson's famous catchphrase from everyone's favourite family animated tv show is 'eat ass'

In general it switches between him refusing to believe things people tell him about the game despite being true and falling for obvious lies

he starts the game going 'lol wouldnt it be funny if you could run over simpsons characters' and then jokingly drives towards civillians thinking they'll jump out of the way. they go flying. he is so confused

the dissonance between early and later parts of the stream are palpable. It turns from a cheerful and lighthearted exploration of a funny simpsons game that he refuses to take seriously or accept that it could genuinely make him angry, and transforms into a desperate race against time, his computer and his own hubris as he seeks simply to finish the game so he can sleep. This stream destroys him.

the way the stream highlights are named on his youtube is hilarious. "Jerma will not get angry at the simpson's hit and run" -> "Jerma might get a bit angry at the simpson's hit and run" -> "d'oh"

it's extremely funny how many time he's convinced he's in the last level of the game, only to be wrong. the first time he thinks that is in the first section and hour of the stream

easily his most rewatchable stream (this is gonna cover a lot of dot points)

the amount of tragic irony and foreshadowing in this stream is almost cinematic.

at the very start of the game he complains about the music being too loud and monologues about sounds and over stimulation of game music bothers him, which of course will be very funny in the finale

he also comments a few time at the start about how annoying homer's random voice lines are, and says 'oh god he's gonna repeat that a thousand times before the end of this game'. he's right, and it nearly drives him crazy by the final mission

speaking of the final mission(s), the second time he has to transport the toxic sludge from power plant to the school he like pauses the game and very seriously addresses chat like 'alright tell me right now are the next three levels also me driving the nuclear waste to the school that cant be possible right'. and then just accepting in defeat that that is in fact how this incredibly stupid and difficult children's game finishes

when he first races against the malibu stacy car and gets destroyed he gets mad and says he wishes he could drive that car. then when he gets to drive it in later levels he quickly decides its his favourite and maintains that until the end of the game

on rewatch... you hear him audibly crack open a can that chat demands he prove to them is soft drink and not alcohol like A WHOLE HOUR before The Incident and it's a little like watching a disaster movie where you see the characters laughing and having fun little knowing how they are being hastened towards their own doom... like chat keeps bugging him about it, he keeps making excuses, he keeps sipping the drink. they bring attention to it so much and you listen to it just knowing the pain that is yet to come. dramatic irony at its finest and most heartache inducing

15. ohmyfucking gaaaawd no! no... god... ICANDOITINAJUMP! ..... BART. WHERE IS HE??? BAAART!!!! AAAUUGH

16. actually fr there's a lot of memorable jerma lines in this stream, rewatching it is like watching a jerma funny moment compilation

17. the final couple of levels where he is getting steadily more overwhelmed to the point of ferality, and then he says he has an idea and goes to the sound menu and turns everything off. voice lines. music. sound effects. and then we watch him play the level in complete silence. and it actually helps him focus its really funny

18. the whole tragic sequence where he is in the FINAL LEVEL. he has played it so many times and just missed it by a few seconds. he is tired. he is hungry. he just wants to get off stream and eat a BURGER. he is focussing as hard as he can. he is almost there. he runs over too many things and the police are after him. but its okay. he's doing it! he's gonna make it!!! he gets to the school with time to spare and is sucked up into the end of the game beam. it's over. except then the police get sucked into the beam as well. he gets arrested in the beam. which teleports him and the car out of the beam. WHICH MEANS THE TIMER RUNS OUT AND HE LOSES. so he has to do it all over again. it's actually so so so funny and also something i think i personally wouldn't survive if i was in jerma's position in that moment

19. okay we have to talk about The Incident. bc i already alluded to it and bc like, i couldn't not talk about it. as stated above Jerma cracks open a can so you can hear it and chat immediately accuses him of being an alcoholic. he adamantly insists that it is a soft drink not a beer but they refuse to believe him unless he proves it by showing camera. he's playing on a modded ps2 pc port or whatever of the simpsons so it's a complicated setup and he explains that it would be too hard and also he's shirtless so they will just have to believe without seeing. chat continues to harass him while he goes on to play the game, specifically most of the lisa level. he laughs it off but eventually caves, gets up and get a blanket to cover himself and then alt tabs, holds his can up to the camera and says 'alright you satisfied? that might have just fucked up the game'. so then he tries to tab back into the game and it. crashes. hard. so hard that the game won't actually turn back on. so jerma's cursing and fiddling with the controls and saying its over. then it finally reboots and the game works and he's so relieved and it loads and he realises that he has lost SO MUCH PROGRESS. he's back at the start of the lisa section. this is truly the turning point of the game where it goes from being a fun experience to a nightmare gauntlet

20. on a related note: jerma waiting with bated breath *sound of simpsons game booting back up after refusing to for far too long* jerma: yeeeAAAAAH

In which Venti sells magical music boxes, Xiao is his unwitting customer, and there is absolutely, definitely nothing more to it at all.

modern au where venti is - a scammer? - i mean a music box seller and xiao is just a regular guy and and. its funny and delightful and absolutely breath taking. i wouldnt elaborate more so as not to spoil anything further but the fic has many unexpected surprises in it! yanrans is another writer i definitely recommend to check out more! their writing style is very flamboyant and poetic.

It's not against some invisible Roommate Code to dream about kissing your roommate, right?

ofc there is a classic roommate au fic!! this was one of my most favourite fic from last years xvn week: its hilarious and silly and just a perfect relaxing read!! the characterization and their banter is so entertaining i admit i have read this multiple times!

this fic is such a delight!! it has some light background lore, some silly shenanigans, miscommunications, pinning - a truly fun mixture! the fic is v light hearted but written with a lot of tenderness. i am v excited to see its conclusion!

In which Xiao, long-established asexual, learns that identity is not as stable as he’d like to believe.

there is some explicit things in it (in non explicit way) i believe religious guilt is one of the best flavouring to xvn. it is an under-explored area in this ship imo and this fic not only has that but also!!! asexuality !!!!!! this fic so so personal and its exploration of desire that gets to me a lot

i kind of like maybe just a little adore the new clue set cards like. the clue set itself is a weird and overpriced product and the physical cards themselves are definitely gonna be stupid overpriced because nobody wants to buy a board game to crack packs but like. the cards themselves? kind of fire?

i kind of adore that theyre not just all rares and we are getting clue set commons and stuff :3 its cute! and we're getting a new lonis too-- its not a super interesting card but i adore lonis and im very excited to play with more of her. and we get an interesting new land cycle in the cluelands too! the art for them kinda blows at the moment but at some point in the future i assume they'll be reprinted in a set that gives them fun and interesting art? maybe? please? im not exactly itching to play them but ill never turn down another cycle of duals teehee

id love to talk about some individual cards from the lineup so far that i adore! these are just my top picks but id recommend going and looking at the full list spoiled so far on scryfall :3

for starters, my favorite card from the whole spoiler season right now i think has to be scuttling sentinel. i dont think i want to play her in any commander deck, but in my opinion this is like one of the top cards for cubes in 2024 period-- like cankerbloom tier of cube card. she's awesome! a crab elf which is such an awesome creature type, playable with green or blue, puts 1/1 counters on things and its main draw is just being a decent body that offers protection :) she's great!!!! ive already slotted her into the cube ive been piecing together recently. i like her a lot.

resonance technician is such a cool spell copier <3 every part of it is kind of expensive so im not really sure where youd play it but it does a lot of cool things all at once on a single card which is fun! the flavor is cool-- we all love weirds here-- and the functionality is useful and cute. cool card. big fan

we also have portal manipulator who is like one of the weirdest and strongest combat tricks ive ever seen? this is like if aetherize also fucked your shit in. so i can absolutely see this seeing a lot of play honestly. but lets be real here this card just has amazing art. thheres portals around her skull !!! god shes so cool.

corporeal projection gets a shoutout because what a fun effect <3 it being izzet is awesome and on-flavor and the card itself is both an interesting choice to give your creature myriad for extra damage and a fun wincon :) im glad theres a simple and convenient way to give one creature myriad now that isn't a brick to run in my commander decks because it has a high-cost endgame mode. yay!

finally it wouldnt be a goqmir set review if i didnt shout out the new cards that work well in Naya Cast From Exile :3 Boros Strike-Captain seems kind of mid but it's important to remember that the card never goes away, and you can cast it any time after when you attack with at least 3 creatures even if BSC is off the battlefield. big fan of this one! im not sure if i can find the space to jam him in my Rocco Street Chef decklist but he's a very playable option.

Personally, i think Headliner Scarlett is the winner this set. She's a very good hit pretty much any time-- you're always gonna get a minimum of 4 free damage when she sticks, and if you play her early you get some pretty strong card advantage, which turns into very very strong card advantage in both Rocco and Prosper. if you pull her late, she can win you the game straight up by allowing you to swing out uninhibited-- though i can't speak for Prosper players, this will pretty much always be at minimum a knock out if you pull it lategame in Rocco. definitely making room for her in my decklist.

anyway thats just some cards i liked from the weird product thats coming out :3 i was and still am iffy on purchasing the product and expect the cards to be a little too expensive but as far as designs go they're pretty cool and im very happy that they exist! um sqrrk <3

jj and rafe would have the biggest change in dynamics because of how they feel about kooks and pogues respectively. i think for jj him with any of the girls as a kook will be inherently antagonistic because he's resentful I used to write that a lot! pogue bunny is special though bc shes just a cunt and despite her wealth status she thinks shes too good for the pogues which is what pisses him off so bad. I also think that like he changes a lot based on the girl because like him and pup always give besties, he would find bunny reader annoying and do his best to knock her down a few pegs, fox reader would be her being annoyed as fuck with him and kitten reader is just a good back and forth where they have turns being annoyed w each other but they compliment each other great

with rafe he has a superiority complex so him with a pogue he's thinking he can "save" her and rescue her from her shit life. I also think he only rlly works with bunny reader there's something so toxic and fun about them but their personalities blend the best both in positive and negative ways. he likes having control over her because she always gives it up. he wouldnt be able to fucking stand fox!reader she's weird and snarky, pup!reader is close to bunny!reader in energy but she's not submissive and quiet enough and he would also really get annoyed with kitten!reader because shes wild and no matter what shes gonna do what she wants

pope would change a lot based on the different girls but not as much with pogue vs kook, I think pope with like bunny!reader is much more awkward and cautious than with fox!reader for instance but when it comes to class status at most he's just a little uncomfortable but he can adapt pretty fine.

No no i love questions!!!! Hmmm i think probably the first scene that i ever wrote? which was vegas and pete's clash of wills in the red room of the compound or the escape scene when pete fled the safe house. those two feel very vivid to me when i think of all that's happened so far. (there's also another scene that's still to come but i won't spoil that one ;) not yet )

i honestly can't remember lol. all of the chapters have been fun to write! it's one continual story in my head the chapters are more just break off points for the readers tbh

oh that is a good question. weirdly i never get that??? i do occasionally go back and edit spelling mistakes or wonky sentences when i reread but ive actually never experienced that. usually the decisions i make writing often lead to more progression of the narrative or like foreshadowing for the future (often without me even consciously intending it) so the different things i put in there end up tying together with other stuff. kinda like chasing down a rabbit hole that connects to a entire underground warren but somehow manages to lead back to the main tunnel in the end.

no not exactly i wouldnt put it like that. i've been tired or creatively exhausted and ive taken breaks knowing that i need them in order to keep writing (which is mostly what the delay between this and the last chapter was- also all the family christmas stuff and the stress that comes with that, plus i got covid two weeks before xmas, then i got the flu and walking pneumonia again a week after that and then i went on holiday first week of jan hahaha there's just been a lot going on that's left me physically and mentally exhausted lol) But no that hasn't crossed my mind- i don't usually have trouble finishing stories (even ones as insanely long as this) but i do go through inspiration/idea droughts which is when taking a break for a bit can come in handy.

im actually pretty keen to start working on my original work after i finish graveyards. hoping to dedicate some real time to it so i can finally finish off the entire draft and start looking into trying to get it published so fingers crossed!

long rant about some feelings i had lately because i need to say it somewhere. i should post it on my sideblog but honestly i lack the will to sign out from this and log into the other account. Feel free to ignore.

Quite honestly seeing all the endearing messages you guys send me truly encourages me to keep me going, and in a way, it comforts me. But these days for some reason I’ve had some recurring grim feelings that burden me, and make me feel empty.

I have a loving family I adore, sweet mutuals and friends i also appreciate with all my life, and i’m studying a career i always wanted to study – but i feel disappointed with myself. I feel like I have no clue where to go in life, like I cant rrally achieve anything too important. I feel useless, and weak.

Everyone in my real life remarks how shy and quiet i often am, and my parents say that im a sensible soul but even if they say it in a good way i feel stupid and fragile. I feel like everyone can run past over me because they know im not capable of saying anything against it. I feel worthless, and like i constantly need to be guided to do even the slightest thing. I panic at the most minor of inconveniences because i have no idea how to react and i overly stress, and needless to say the tremors i have worsen and it just makes me feel like shit.

I never find the right time to say what i feel, nor the right situation. And even if i do and express myself in any dumb way i can find at that moment, i just get called an attention seeker and they blame me as a victim that always has everything served and is spoiled, and even if im grateful for all the things i have in my life, i just keep feeling like a heavy weight on the people surrounding me. I feel like nothing i ever do is right, i never know what to say, i feel stupid. Sincerely.

I dont care what anyone says about me, especially if its someone i dont know. But i know some friends and people in real life that made fun of me when talking about my interests, how fragile i seem at everything and reserved i am, i even heard some classmates snickering behind of me when i was explaining specifically what i studied and im tired of not having the will to stand up. I truly despise myself to the point i can barely find the right words, if there is any.

Everyday i feel like im dragging myself through life and i would muh rather keep sleeping and stay in my dreams than have to keep being understanding at stupid people, and the disrespect. Im always embarrassed of expressing how i feel but its even more heavy to carry all my self-worth issues without being able to freely talk about it. You guys have no idea how many fucking times i had the impulse of jumping in front of a car, throwing myself out of the balcony, hanging myself and end myself because i cant STAND not knowing how to guide my life, where to go, and feeling insecure and i dont say this to be dramatic. i cant do anything by myself.

If it werent because even if i sometimes fight with them i know i have a family that cares for me and sweet friends, i wouldnt be here in some time. I feel like an attention whore and a victim but i hate having to keep it all for myself and know no one will do anything, or think im satisfied with how i am. My parents tell me i should be proud of who i am and all the things i earned by myself, but truth is, i wish i werent so fucking useless. I can never remember anything properly, and im too anxious most of the time. I despise myself and i really hope this feeling washes away soon, because i cant tolerate not managing to do anything because i would much rather lay in bed and do nothing due to my own insecurities.

Do you recommend FF16 at all?

I think I'm going to use this as a jumping off point for my FF16 review: TLDR: YES 5/5, 9/10, 17/20

I really like where the story ended up. I think the game kind of relishes in the warfare aspect of it at first, because after a certain point they include a map where you can look at what army is doing what during any part of the story. I wasnt huge on that and I didnt pay attention to it but it didn't matter anyway. There are some contrivances in the story but I was able to largely ignore them. some real Cinema Sins "ding" shit but it's there if you care about that kinda stuff. There's huge bombastic kaiju fights that act as really cool setpieces. I really liked the combat and after a ways into the game it gets very customizable. I think a critique I saw was that it's too easy, and I think yeah it's pretty easy. the hardest fights are all optional hunt bosses you can find and that was a lot of fun. the side quests are kind of not great, and there's little indication on if it's dumb bullshit or really cool lore shit. there IS indication if it gives you a really good upgrade which is pretty cool. It's kind of worth it to do all the side quests and hunts. I think one of the strongest aspects of the combat is how customizable your abilities are. you'll find a lot of ways to chain stuff together which is pretty great. the crafting system sucks. you have endless resources just by playing the game normally and fucking nothing to spend them on. You craft one sword and it's the best sword you'll have for 5 whole hours. no additional stats just strength and stagger. same goes for your armor. I crafted the Drakeslayer armor and I didnt change it until the ultimate Oroboros armor showed up 30 hours later. The best equipment options are the accessories which change actual stats and stuff. Reduces cooldown on moves, changes attributes of certain things, increases potion healing. The problem with that was I was pretty okay with what I had (auto torgal accessory, berserker ring, and potion healing increased by 40%) that I almost never changed it. I think the one time I did was some stuff that made it so I gained more EXP and Ability Points, and then back to normal after I finished what little grinding I wanted to do. Those are good shit though. the thing is you can't craft them, you buy/pick them up. so it's another reason crafting is useless and stupid. I think it's just fun. It's not a huge challenge, but it hit a sweet spot for me. Some people are saying it's piss easy but I had trouble in some spots. I dumped probably 60 hours into it and I usually don't play games that much. It was detrimental to my work ethic for like a week and a half. Great game. oh yeah it's also gorgeous and load times are almost nonexistent. the only time you notice a load is when you have to push a door open with a qte or when you fast travel. you select a different map and the screen goes black for 5 seconds and you're in a completely different map. that's the power of the PS5. Shit like this spoiled me because making games seamless like this just makes it more obvious when the temple opens up in zelda TOTK, and you walk into the hole and there's a loading screen. PS5 wouldnt do that. I'm so spoiled by PS5 shit it's fucked up. It's so fucked up we got a real playable game that has in-engine graphics better than fucking Final Fantasy: The Sprits Within. it's so fucked up. so so fucked up.

but after a while the students get used to it. the gossip's spread around and died out and students know that dr gadling's dating that goth twink 20 years younger than him, but that's old news. dream, of course, prince of stories king of nightmares queen of drama etc etc, may not be able to admit it aloud to other people, but was absolutely loving all of the attention he got from humans in hob's life because of it. strange looks and over personal questions would've been upsetting had they been directed towards Dream Of The Endless, but right now he's Morpheus, dr gadling's far younger partner, and he feels like he has a massive secret no one else is in on and man is he horny about it.

so, the attention comes and goes and now hes bored again. he considered switching their roles and having himself be the older partner for a while, but it wouldn't be as scandalous for a mid-30s university professor to date someone older than him (plus the above mentioned complexity of shapeshifting), so thats off the list. but then of course, he had overheard a few people ask if he ws hobs sugar baby, and wouldnt that be interesting?

so now whenever he visits hob during classes, he'll make a comment thanking him for the new clothes, for expensive jewelry, for having reservations to take him out to dinner later later that night, how could he ever show how grateful he is to be spoiled so much? and hob, of course, is just completely stunned, confused, intimidated, aroused, etc, the whole 9 yards. the students gossip some more, attention is on dream all over again, people cant decide whether they pity him or are jealous of him and he cant get enough of it. (he'd definitely make himself some expensive-looking designer adjacent clothes to flaunt, wearing a new elaborate outfit each day, so that to an unknowing human he's being absolutely lavished)

theres no telling how long itll take for the students on campus to forget about the whole ordeal and find something new to whisper about, but dream's already come up with a list of "sexual things to say in front of hob & students to keep things interesting", including but not limited to phrases that include words like "punishment" and "reward" and "discrete" and "really, while youre at work? well, if you say so"

At this point Dream is now a Campus Celebrity (although nobody knows his name). He gets interviewed for campus TV when they have a "rate my outfit" kind of thing going on. He's meticulously goes through each part of his outfit and he's like "Oh, my boyfriend bought me this... and this too. I couldn't possibly show you what I'm wearing underneath. He wouldn't approve..."

The staff are choosing to ignore the whole thing, because no one can pin down Dream as a student at the university. Sure its morally dubious to date someone who looks like a teenager, but if it's not breaking any rules... so Dream has to up his game to get Hob’s colleagues to pay attention. He starts sending lewd pictures to Hob’s phone at inopportune moments, sidling up and whispering in his ear. Wraps his arms around Hob and glares at anyone who so much as smiles at him, as if to say - this one's mine, get your own.

And in the privacy of Hob’s office, Dream spends his time fucking his sugar daddy nice and hard, just as an extra remind that Dream is very much in charge.

Honestly I feel most would try to cater to what you want in order to please you, but if they had to pick one they would idealize: Pon would want to go somewhere a bit fancy, likely take you out to a very nice dinner to show off and go out to a market of sorts or a mall, any shops basically he can spoil you at with gifts and affection!! He'd also wear a suit cause how else can he show off the nice dad bod he's got ;3c Afterwards if your okay with it he's def dragging you home for some nice late night trashy TV to just talk before you both pass out on the couch together snuggled up. Kitten likely would want to go somewhere fun and lively, something much like a amusement park. She's the kind of girl to cling to your arm and gush about how amazing you are at every game at the park, or how she needs to cling to you when on "scary" rides like rollercoasters or haunted house rides! Which she insists on going!! (unless your scared) She of course will drag you onto the tunnel of love to get her smooches in and trap you on the ferris wheel with her, and is wearing the cutest outfit she could find in her closet to present herself to you. When you show up to said place, its likely a highly esteemed dinner date set upon a private boat. Rickys one to not worry about his money spending, and the fact he's trying to impress you is pretty obvious even if he won't talk about it. Claims the rest of the office couldn't make it so wow it works out that its just a small private dinner fit for two. Though by the end of the night he's mellowed out quite a lot and seems to actually be having a great sincere time with you. Which he will deny the next day even after proof of pictures are found on his phone bragging about his "amazing date".

Finally Darius is literally a king, a magical king at that and one whos going to be well over the top when it comes to your perfect date. Hes going to literally light up the room with stars and crystals all adorning over a beautiful garden area he has set up for the two of you inside the palace. Since he doesn't very much like you leaving the palace, he does keep dates indoors and rarely outside (unless you are on really good behaviour and request it sweetly from him). So instead he creates a whole world for you inside one of the many giant palace rooms. Where you will have a picnic under the stars and he will play music for you softly. Being so gentle and sweet as he even pulls you into dancing magically underneath the stars. It all feels like a dream when you wake up the next day in bed alongside him ;3c
