I'm a cryptid in Stardew valley. I live on the outskirts of town. I disappear for days on end, purchasing daily one-way tickets to the calico desert. Nobody knows where I go while I'm there. Can occasionally be found fishing at random spots throughout town. I am never not running on at least one triple shot espresso. I take the abandoned minecarts to get around and am frequently seen disappearing into the sewers. I carry a sword for some reason. Once every week or two I will stride into your bedroom to deliver you your favorite meal. I'm a self-made millionaire. I attend all the town events and will go to your concert in the next town over. I have donated approximately 2583 items to the local museum and singlehandedly revitalized the town community center. There are rumors I can talk to junimos. I'm friends with the local wizard

Small artists you need to understand that when you see an artist who you think has 'made it' tells you not to worry about the numbers and to not fret about getting more likes than reblogs they are not telling you it because they think you are stupid for caring or because they dont need to network to survive they are very likely telling you that because they have witnessed first hand the way the numbers game tears people to shreds in terms of mental health and motivation

They’ve released not just digitized works of art, but also a great many art history texts and art books in general. Just this week, they announced an expansion of access to their digital archive, in that they’ve made nearly 88,000 images free to download on their Open Content database under Creative Commons Zero (CC0). That means “you can copy, modify, distribute and perform the work, even for commercial purposes, all without asking permission.”

88,000 new free images just dropped, to use however you like.

"This photograph was made for my first European solo show in Berlin, in the gallery Anahita Contemporary. It's a self-portrait alongside Anahita Sadighi, Moshtari Hilal and Susu AbdulMajid. We are respectively from Yemen, Iran, Afghanistan and Iraq. Despite our different roots I noticed that we all share a similar background, having grown up in Western nations that often vilify the places our families are from. I also noticed the strong profiles of each of our faces. So I decided to create this portrait with the title Axis of Evil – a play on the term so frequently used to describe our home countries when we were growing up. It also embraces the beauty of our distinctive noses, which are often treated as ugly, something to be changed. I wanted to embrace these qualities of ours in this image, creating something powerful, defiant."

tremble (for my beloved) by yilingcatriarch - there are no words better to describe this than “The Eming Fic”, and the reason it’s what i want to recommend out of the many many fics i’ve loved is because i read it like a week ago and i genuinely cannot stop thinking about it. Such a fun, sweet, and original concept & execution. I really enjoyed it! So- easy to read and easy to love! I really hope the author might consider writing a sequel someday, but truthfully it’s perfect as is!

17. What’s a book, movie, or show you think [character] would like?

OHOHOHOHOO OK SO!! (7yg narumitsu + trucy, no one is surprised atp)

I have a bit of a headcanon surrounding it, but i think that Phoenix, Trucy, and Miles would enjoy watching Perry Mason together to try and see who can figure out the truth/true criminal first! (Bonus points bc! MASON + 7YG!!) The hc is that they would habitually watch an episode or two at the end of the day, and compete see who ends up with the highest accuracy rate. This show has just enough niche/antiquated culture knowledge (Miles), random character motive bs (Phoenix), and “guy who was on screen but nobody noticed” (Trucy) for it to be a relatively fair competition between the three of them. Trucy definitely wins out in the end though, by a small but reasonable margin.

Sticking to AA, i would say probably franmaya? I think it’s cute, but i will admit i haven’t felt all that invested in them. It might be because i just dont relate with them as much, but i’m like “oh cool, lesbians :^)” and that’s it

22. Give us a headcanon for [character] (I technically already did this one but, what’s another?)

I’m going to stay on the Trucy/7yg train with this one but I’ve thought for a long time that Trucy would be the catalyst that makes Phoenix realize something is up with Kristoph during the 7yg. It’s not that i don’t think Phoenix could ever figure it out on it’s own- it’s really that Trucy just happened first. Again, Trucy is very perceptive and I think it wouldn’t take very many interactions between her and Kristoph to understand that something is amiss, and for it to rattle her. When Trucy expresses this sense of danger when she’s around Kristoph, Phoenix would put her words and her safety at highest priority. From there, it would only be a matter of time before he would start to finally sense it too.

13 & 14 - HUALIAN.

Yknow i watched the first season of tgcf when it was originally released w/ english dubs back in 2020? And i enjoyed it! I thought it was really beautifully made, and i remember i had posted about it on instagram. Someone responded saying “omg you should read it!” and my immediate response was “sorry but i really suck at reading, and im not really that invested yet”…… I’m sure you know why this is very ironic now.

Now that i’m properly hualianpilled, i cannot express just how much they’ve gripped me. It’s a bit inaccurate to say i’ve never drawn them- because i have- but i’m just not interested in sharing those early attempts (finally my experience in fandom is paying off lol). HOWEVER, and i say this with horrifying seriousness- they’ve made me consider writing, actually and genuinely. I really never thought i’d be here but, every day the temptation grows stronger…

22. I hear you, i see you. 7yg trucy + narumitsu hc ahoy~!

While Trucy was still small, she technically preferred being held/carried by Phoenix- not because he’s her dad but because he’s just softer. I say technically because she would most often ask to be held by Miles, but her reason was that she saw how happy Phoenix looked the first time it happened, and she wanted to keep seeing that expression on him ever since. <3
