What sort of faith, if any, is there in Chloe's life? Any particular deity/pantheon/religion?
OH BOY
OKAY, THIS IS SUCH A BIG QUESTION TO COVER and I could GO such a big tangent about this, so I'm writing a summary of this instead.
Yes, Chloe does have a religion in her world of Terra, back in Estoria, the town she's in.
Like many people in Terra, she worships the Goddess, Eir, said to bring safety, harmony, and in charge of the world's balance.
However, during the great Calamity which fell on Chloe's world 15 years ago, Eir has been reported to be dead a long time ago, because she doesn't want to be a goddess, but choose to live alongside the humans as well.
As a goddess, she managed to reincarnate over and over as different humans, but something very unexpected happened in her last reincarnation.
She fell in love with a human.
And from this human, she realizes the joy of humanity, that she realized that the world of Terra is able to live without her. This truth was only out 15 years ago.
To this day, even when the truth of there's no goddess remaining in the world, people still go to the church to pray as she's still watching over everyone, believing in the goodness of humanity.
So tl;dr:
Chloe's faith is that of a Goddess named Eir, a goddess who, even when everyone knows she's not 'governing' this world anymore because she's 'dead', represents the bright side of humanity.

hihi i’m planning on writing a little one shot (that will probably be longer than i intend); it’s not going to be smutty beyond maybe a spicy make out bc i am very asexual but i love d/s dynamics and i was hoping you’d be able to give me some ideas?? i’m trying to think of like rules and stuff eddie can put in place so he’s in control and steve can catch a fucking break; was also thinking ab like light manhandling or other ways that eddie could show dominance?? anyway thanks love u
Hey there bestie!
So it really depends on what kind of things you want to include in your fic. There are really so many different rules and boundaries you can set.
One of my favorite things is casual displays of dominance so I am all behind you on that. If you want help possibly coming up with a rules list that will fit your story, or have questions about d/s stuff feel free to slide into my dms.
Super excited though, I love that more people are writing for this dynamic. ❤️

To illustrate this post by @mayahawkse I would like to visualize to you the difference:
A post in 2023:
A post in 2014:
A zoom out of the same post:
This is what a community looks like.
See how in 2023 almost all of the reblogs come from the OP, from their few hours/days in the tag search. Meanwhile in 2014 the % of reblogs from OP is insignificant, because most of the reblogs come from the reblogs within the fandom, within the micro-communities formed there. You didn't need to rely on tags, or search, or being featured. Because the community took care of you, made sure to pass the work between themselves and onto their blog and exposed their followers to it. It kept works alive for years.
It's not JUST the reblog/like ratio that causing this issue, it's the type of interaction people have. They're content with scrolling and liking the search engine, instead of actually having a reblogging relationship with other blogs in their community.
Anyways, if you want to see more content you like, the only true way to make it happen is to reblog it. Likes do not forward content in no way but making OP feel nice. Reblogs on the other hand make content eternal. They make it relevant, they make it exist outside of a fickle tumblr search that hardly works on the best of days.
If you want more of something, reblog it.

I feel like many people have a fundamental misconception of what unreliable narrator means. It's simply a narrative vehicle not a character flaw or a sign that the character is a bad person. There are also many different types of unreliable narrators in fiction. Being an unreliable narrator doesn't necessarily mean that the character is 'wrong', it definitely doesn't mean that they're wrong about everything even if some aspects in their story are inaccurate, and only some unreliable narrators actively and consciously lie. Stories that have unreliable narrators also tend to deal with perception and memory and they often don't even have one objective truth, just different versions. It reflects real life where we know human memory is highly unreliable and vague and people can interpret same events very differently
