when you were talking about that racist person erasing gwen, did you mean the one one posting pic sets of the main cast with angel replaced by the white lady who played guinivere in camelot? for the record, I hated that guinivere. angel remains the best!

Holy shit *what*??? I had no idea that was even going on! I must have already blocked them, or maybe I just wasn't in the tag far enough to see them, but damn some people really will just take any opportunity to sink even lower huh? That's disgusting

What my post was referring to was the people that think they're being super funny by pretending that Gwen doesn't exist just for the sake of merthur. For legal purposes I have to state "not all merthur shippers" before someone else does, but there's certainly a subgroup of them that use their ship as a thin veil to be just downright vile about Gwen and Angel bc they cannot stand the thought of their blonde-haired blue-eyed golden white boy Arthur loving a black woman. So they make posts taking Arthur's lines about Gwen and twisting them so that they're about Merlin, they comment about how Gwen is a third wheel on gifsets of the three of them together, they make "analyses" talking about how Gwen was "obviously" just a beard for Arthur so that he could maintain appearances while sneaking off to shag Merlin behind her back. As though Arthur would go through all the scandal of dating a servant just to use her to prop his image up, and as though Merlin would be fine with betraying his best friend like that, and as though Gwen doesn't deserve anything more than just being used and disregarded.

This response ended up being far longer than I intended, but I'm just really getting to the end of my tether with some of these people. And for them to keep pulling this nonsense *now* of all times just seems so beyond soulless that I can't even put it into words.

But thanks for the heads up about that person! If they're not already on my blocklist, they're sure as hell about to be if I see them around

Face Morphing

Right, so it’s fun to see what Gollum looks like mixed with Brad Pitt or whatever, but honestly using face morph apps seriously helps with character design/references. You want a next gen kid from a story? Morph those parents from younger pics. You want your OC to sort of look like Sebastian Stan but also Jensen Ackles? Go for it my friend.

You want to base fanart off of multiple actors for the same character? (Ahem, my current DC comics fan projects) Upload your favorite actors for the character and behold what you were looking for.

Honestly it’s super useful. Like, I already have reference images for a bunch of characters I’m going to be working with, original and non, just because I fooled around with this site and uploaded what wasn’t already there. Look what I did with some of our big time OTPs:

(Just for fun, but that’s Bradley James, Chris Evans, Jensen Ackles, and Martin Freeman)

(Colin Morgan, Sebastian Stan, Misha Collins, and Benedict Cumberbatch)

So basically Merthur, Stucky, Destiel, and Johnlock morphs. I may actually use these for OCs but who knows?
