( a few days that can only feel like a few minutes. )

it has been quite exhausting working on manyang's set of these special cases, where the mundane lives had been all devoured, while the dead of beyond is thriving with stolen rich life forces and well fed negative emotions. having a brief, but needed, time being away from an high active area of horrors should gave some ease to mind, though micah still could not sleep after the call, thinking about dongsik until they fell into slumber. ever since they argued, micah can no longer tell how does dongsik feel about them now — given the fact that they can not recall the rest of the event after they said, " not to me, never to me, " — especially that someone fronted. no matter if they were told that the argument was handled well or poorly in the end...

they're scared thinking that dongsik doesn't like them anymore.

on the flight day, then, they believe, and try to leave in a sharp, self-cutting silence —

" you were going to leave without saying goodbye? "

micah finds themself frozen in forming anxiety outside of their house's door entrance. before them, dongsik is staring at them, disbelieved, seeing a suitcase in their hand. they had hoped dongsik would go to the manyang police substation and learn their absence from chief sangbae — not this. " you're expecting a goodbye from me? " stunned, micah sounds smaller in the world that only wants to devour them entirely. they can't find the strength to make eye contact with dongsik. not like this. " i- i'm still partnered with you on the cases — i'm not officially leaving manyang, if that's what you're worried about... " they whisper, " my heads need me at our nearest station for something urgent that can't be discussed with through a phone call. "

micah wonders if they should leave to sasang station with only this assurance made. should they give dongsik the reason as to why they didn't say goodbye to him, their business partner? 【 be honest with him. 】 " ...part of me thought you wouldn't care in the end if i was gone, either for a bit or forever. " it is for the best if they do, but micah hates how much it pains them to hear it out loud, make it be part of reality. in the past, they would usually receive a nod or a mumbled farewell from @10tips as a response to their ever bright goodbyes that were always given first. they never mind the heavy quietness of lee dongsik, with his cynical and nihilistic nature, so they still want to give him an acknowledgement whenever they leave each other or meet.

though, after that day, micah doubts the amount of tolerance dongsik have for them.

if it were not for their recent argument, they would have said goodbye to him, sooner.

Soooooo about that new tgcf episode, right? (novel spoilers for those who have not finished book 1)

Across the board tgcf season 2 has honestly been blowing away all my expectations for just how *good* of an adaptation it was going to be. It definitely helps that the 2nd half of book one is probably my favorite arc in the entire series and it brings me great joy to see it animated with such care.

Case and point, I was not expecting them to go quite so hard in showcasing the history of Xie Lian and Lang Qianqiu but it is by far my favorite scene in the episode. There is just. So much attention to detail here.

First up we have how they actually transition into the massacre.

The returning thematics of the 3rd glass of water problem being presented and what that means for Xie Lian and Lang Qianqiu specifically are clear enough from how the novel presents them, but this is just a perfect way to showcase that visually. By having Qianqiu's statement of "he shouldn't have intervened from the beginning" into Xie Lian becoming that 3rd person to take responsablity for the Gilded Banquet. The way that this also shows how it will reflect Qianqiu's views on what Xie Lian did when the truth is revealed.

Also shoutout to how menacing Xie Lian is as he walks up to the king. The donghua is really selling you on the possibility that maybe Xie Lian did do this. However, important to note, Xie Lian does not have a speck of blood on him- until he kills the king. A clever bit of foreshadowing to how the only blood Xie Lian actually has on his hands is the king's, no one else in that room was killed by him.

I wish i had the screencap of when Qianqiu has overtaken Xie Lian because this is such a miserable and perfect parallel shot between the two of them.

Circling back to the initial transition with the 3rd glass of water question, we see Xie Lian becoming that third person to prevent Lang Qianqiu from having to do so in his stead. He turns that 3rd person question in to a simple good and evil scenario. Upcoming we'll have Xie Lian's declaration of "Good! I hope you never become like me!" to Lang Qianqiu and furthering the parallels between them, and this is such a classic shot to establish such parallelism. Lang Qianqiu is so young and terrified and eerily similar to Xie Lian. And Xie Lian, who we have come to know as a apathetic but ultimately compassionate and kindhearted person, fully assume the mask of the villain.

Okay. So. Imagine having a crush on Yuta and pining for years, but then Shibuya happens. And all your butterflies turn into vicious flies when you hear he's back. But to execute Itadori. Huh?! And then you meet him on the rooftop where he was waiting for Itadori to wake up. Sure, it's a relief when you hear his explanation on what actually was going on but you're more intrigued. Intrigued by the little girl hiding behind him.

Now you know what I'm about to say next but come on jordie!! Our fandom deserves a fic where the reader and Yuta adapt the girl and become her unofficial parents (and it can be sort of like gojo-megumi parallel with yuta and you. And who knows if the girl is sorcerer? She could see curses and rika, I mean.) All we know is bonding over this little angel can finally bring an end to their pining 😫 and they both too, with time, just accept their feelings or basically yuta swooning over you when your motherly instincts come out and being too obvious with it hah! He's a simple man afterall.

.....OK, so....this episode needs multiple viewings for me to.....fully absorb everything that just happened......but......uh......I-I don't wanna just not say anything about it, so....here goes.....

-OK, fandom, you got me. You called it. Vaggie was an angel. Wasn't exactly the most surprising twist imaginable when everyone and their mother called it, but it was cool to actually see it. Th-the fact that she got her name because a misogynist named her was probably the biggest twist for me here, cuz HOLY CRAP, it makes so much sense. XD I remember when people used to haaaaaate Vaggie's name.....I-I honestly used to raise my eyebrows at it before I got used to it. That's neat.....

....But if there was one thing I DIDN'T call, it's Charlie not knowing. I legit thought she already knew. They were so close, and they've been a couple for years before the show, so I thought that already happened. B-but I....I LIKE this direction? I-I love Chaggie already, don't get me wrong, they're like the M&M of this show for me.....b-but their relationship has always kinda been....swallowed by the....EVERYTHING ELSE in the show around them. I-I'd love to see them get center stage! Will that happen, or will it just get brushed over? Dunno....but....either way, this cliffhanger KILLS ME just cuz I wanna know what happens next for them!

-NO ONE IN HEAVEN BUT SERA AND THE EXORCISTS KNOW ABOUT THE EXTERMINATIONS. PLEASE leave all your "Heaven is evil, what's the point of the hotel" complaints at the FLIPPING DOOR! We got a breakthrough! Yup, I never bought it for a second. The Exorcists are only ONE type of angel! There was no way they represented ALL of Heaven! The whole point of the story was that it's not a black-and-white conflict! If the whole story was just "Hell good, Heaven evil", what would be the point of that? You think the writers are THAT dumb?

Sera....seems to be the one in charge of making the decisions, but she's not evil, she's just doing what she thinks is right for Heaven. I'm pretty sure her mind can be changed. And Emily is so so so much like Charlie that them singing together was satisfying as heck! Adam and Lute are the clear bad guys here....

I love the confusion of "How isn't Angel rising to Heaven?" and how it kinda parallels to how Adam, who was once human, is still IN Heaven. Just cuz they're dead, doesn't mean they can't change. Vaggie had her wings torn off and fell. That could be Adam by the end of the show. But, what about someone in Hell rising to Heaven? Not even the angels have the answer. Because they're not evil. I LOVE that.

-Speaking of Emily and Charlie being alike, yeah, that second song was INCREDIBLE! Do I like it more than "Hell Is Forever" (which I've been listening too soooooo much over the week)? That's a high bar, so I dunno....but I love how this song is a follow-up to it, and it's very climactic.

-AUSTRALIAN CHERRI HECK YEEEEEAAAAA!!! Angel standing up to Val in....in only their....second episode together? Uhhhhh, aren't we moving too fast- I mean HECK YEEEEAAAA!! Drunk Niffty HECK YEEEAAAAA!!! More Huskerdust on the side HECK YEEEEAAA!!!

.....The running gag with Sir Pentious killed me. XD His obvious crush is so cute. Definitely a highlight for me. Better luck next time, dude.

-But yeah....my favorite thing about the episode (besides learning that Heaven isn't evil) is the Vaggie thing. I'm REALLY on the edge of my seat to see how this goes! Oooooo.....I-I'm so nervous! Obviously Charlie's not gonna be MAD, but....OK, maybe she'll be mad? But she won't STAY mad....I-I can't believe I'm looking forward to drama between those two....They've been so wholesome.....but I dunno, I wanna see a story about them, I guess....

The first half of this ep was soooooo good and fun and silly. Very much a redo of the first half of Prince of Mars. Better jokes. Better security set up. SO MUCH RESPECT OF RITA AND HER PROCESS AND HER GETTING THE LOVE AND RESPECT SHE DESERVES.

And then to MAKE US THINK IT WAS A NUREYEV FAKE OUT WITH THE COLOGNE SMELL JUST TO GIVE US THE BACKSTORY AND SAY SARASWATI TO ME AND BREAK MY HEART AGAIN BUT ALSO IT'S NOT A FAKE OUT AND HE'S REALLY THERE AND I KNEW HE WASN'T GONNA BE HAPPY.

OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION THAT NUREYEV ISN'T WEARING HIS COLOGNE ANYMORE.

1. What's your favorite Legendary Pokemon and why?

(I'm using these specific classifications as I answer your question)

So hot take but I don't really feel too strongly about most of the legendaries 💀 I seem to be more of a sub-legendary and mythical pokemon fan by happenstance, so I'm just gonna expand my response with them since I'm more interested in them.

Strictly Legendary:

I like Lugia and Mewtwo because of their respective movies, but I honestly think I'm most attached to Cosmog by a long shot. I don't have too much of an articulate answer behind as to why other than Gen 7 really nailed the landing with creating an attachment to the curious lil' thing and I love it so much :') I just love its personality, and would 100% love to keep it as a little pet and yell at it to get in the bag. xD

Sub-Legendary:

THIS THING. THIS THING GAVE ME HELL CATCHING IT IN MY FIRST D/P PLAYTHROUGH AND IT MADE ME WANT IT SOOOOOO BAD LOOOL

I really, really, really loved the concepts behind the lake trio and what they represented, and was particularly drawn to Mespirit at the time (although Uxie lowkey has the best cry). Nowadays the trio is almost neck-and-neck even, tbh.

I also have thoroughly enjoyed Ogerpon - she's the only legendary I've actually opted to use in my main team throughout all the gens because I got attached and didn't like the other grass pokemon options.

Blacephalon is also a weird take I can't explain. I love the chaos and variety of colors in its design. It just seems very chaotic and strange as is. OH, AND THE DOG TRIO FROM JOHTO. AND LATIOS AND LATIAS. GOD I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM IN EVERY MEDIA.

Mythical:

OOOOH this one is VERY close because I love, love, love the mythicals apparently. Celebi's connection to time, the movie, THE GAMES, and the overall atmosphere behind it is just 110% my kind of personal aesthetic lmao. Like I'd love to have this little fairy are you kidding me???

Shaymin is a very very close second. I love how it has two forms and love its connection to nature. My connection to this pokemon in particular also grew because I associate it with the late memory of someone close to me who passed away. I think of them with this pokemon, so it holds an extra sentiment.

Otherwise I really really really also love Mew (fight me) and Jirachi is awesome because WISHES??? Bangers.

2. If you could Kieran any legendary (other than the Gen 9 legends), which would you give and why?

Lol you're so based for excluding the gen 9 mons, lets go.

Strictly Legendary:

Helloooo Gen 5 fans LMAO. I really feel like there's a lot of unspoken poetry between Kieran & the player with Reshiram/Zekrom parallels. I could honestly see Kieran holding either legendary relatively well from a symbolic standpoint, but Zekrom seems to fit him a bit more imo. He's quite motivated through his ideals to find a truth he wants to see - whether it be "the Ogre being misunderstood" before it was verified, his concepts for what makes a capable trainer and respectable or valued person, and his desires to prove himself. He gets a little too lost in his visions to the point where they cloud his perception and his judgement is ultimately soured; he's desperate to compete and externals it on the player, but in reality he's competing with the standard of an ideal he thinks he himself should be.

Sub Legendary:

I don't mean to pull too much from the lake trio with this post, but honestly, I feel like a lot of Kieran's journey and character arc can be summed up with his enduring willpower. Whether he's motivated through passion, spite and envy, or through his desire to correct his wrongdoings, Kieran really grows into his own because of how much he prioritizes his fire and determination.

Mythical:

Bit of an indescribable take for me but I'm oddly drawn to Marshadow for the mythicals - especially for Teal Mask Kieran. I think it just really symbolizes more of his timid dispositions and more gentle personality underneath everything his edgieness LOL, I guess? And there's something that speaks to me in terms of having him honor that side of him and learn to embrace it - especially alongside the other picks I listed.

This was fun!! I hope these answers were entertaining. :)

Oooookay. So I finished my seventh watch through of season 2 yesterday and I finally feel equipped to give my personal ranking of all 18 OFMD episodes. No one asked for this but here it is lol. Also I gave them all a score out of ten and tiered them all by said score because I'm very normal. LET'S GO.

6/10 - These Are Kinda Meh

18. 1x02: A Damned Man - To me, this is the most forgettable episode of the whole show. I mean, it's not awful or anything (it's still OFMD), but I have literally nothing to say about it. It's just kinda there.

17. 2x06: Calypso's Birthday - There's things in this episode I like (everything with Ned Lowe is good imo), but the whole party sequence, which takes up about half the episode, feels so empty to me. At first it didn't bother me that much, but then Samba revealed what the original plan was and knowing that at one point this episode had a plot has made the incredible lack of one we got soooo much more noticeable.

16. 1x03: The Gentleman Pirate - Introduction of Spanish Jackie, Magic Man, Ed and Stede meeting for the first time, there's definitely good stuff here. However, it gets sooooooooo much better than this.

7/10 - Good and Fun, Just Not My Fave

15. 2x07: Man on Fire - There is so much in this episode I like. Ed and Stede having breakfast in bed makes me feel insane. Stede and Zheng fighting ruled so hard. FRENCHIE SCHEMEING WITH THE CREW!!! The biggest thing is that there's so much in this episode that nothing really gets room to breathe. With like…five more minutes this episode could've been peak.

14. 1x06: The Art of Fuckery - This falls under the category of "episodes that are good, but there are others I like way more". The bathtub scene is of course peak, but in a season with some really incredible stuff this episode doesn't particularly stick out to me.

13. 2x04: Fun and Games - Same as the previous episode. I love the whole "Seabird" sequence, Ed and Stede's little heart to heart, and of course Anne and Mary's everything, but there are so many more episodes I love way more.

8/10 - I'm Incredibly Fond of These

12. 1x07: This is Happening - Fun fact I originally had this in the last category but then I remembered the co-captains scene and I knew I had to bump it up lmao. There's soooo much peak OFMD in here. The snake scene! Lucius calling Ed out!!! The previously mentioned co-captains scene!!!!! The only reason this isn't higher is because around my…fifteenth rewatch I found myself kinda getting bored with the Jim's nana subplot (sorry Jim).

11. 1x01: Pilot - OHHHHH I AM SO FOND OF THE PILOT. There's definitely some clunkiness in this episode imo (it is the first one after all), but the feeling I get when I boot up this episode is unparalleled. Frenchie starts singing and my heart soars. Also the entire "High on a Rocky Ledge" sequence is beautiful even all these months later.

10. 1x08: We Gull Way Back - 90% of my love for this episode is that I find Will Arnett very funny. This episode also gave us "The Chain" sequence including the foot touch heard around the world. ALSO ROOM PEOPLE!!! I love this one.

09. 2x01: Impossible Birds - The biggest fault of this episode is that it premiered alongside two of the best episodes of OFMD ever and this one slightly pales in comparison. That being said, it's a very strong season opener. Also, I am personally obsessed with the "Strawberry Letter 23" sequence. AND THE CAKE TOPPERS I CAN'T BELIEVE I ALMOST FORGOT THE CAKE TOPPERS!!!!!

08. 1x04: Discomfort in a Married State - I AM SOOOOOO FOND OF THIS ONE. The way the first half of the episode parallels Ed/Izzy and Stede/Mary only to spend the second half juxtaposing those two relationships against Ed/Stede? Masterful. The way Ed and Stede's relationship develops so naturally? Beautiful. THE LIGHTHOUSE SCENE? INCREDIBLE. WHAT AN EPISODE!

9/10 - I'm Genuinely Mad These Didn't Make Top 5

07. 2x05: The Curse of the Seafaring Life - The way this episode had me giggling and kicking my feet in real life after I first saw it. There's nothing not to like here. Ed and Fang fishing, Lucius and Pete getting engaged, THE SUIT…all incredible. Not to mention we got "you wear fine things well" version 2.0 with the best kiss in the whole show!

06. 1x05: The Best Revenge is Dressing Well - I love everything about this one. Ed and Stede at the fancy party, Lucius kicking Izzy's ass with the power of polyamory, Frenchie and Olu scamming racists…when I think of quintessential OFMD, this is the episode I think of. And of course the original version of "you wear fine things well" lives within my very soul.

10/10 - I Feel Mentally Ill About These Ones

05. 2x02: Red Flags - To start off, I really liked getting Lucius back and his whole subplot with Stede was really really great. Now that that point's out of the way HOLY SHIT EVERYTHING WITH ED IN THIS EPISODE WHAT THE FUCK. THE SCENE BETWEEN ED AND IZZY IS LITERALLY GOD TIER. ED PAINTED THE BRIDE TO LOOK LIKE HIMSELF AND I STILL HAVEN'T RECOVERED. "RUN FROM ME"? LIKE...IN GENERAL??? CRAZY. AND THEN ED SAYING "FINALLY" WHEN HE GETS THE CREW TO KILL HIM? INSANE. THEY WERE INSANE FOR THIS.

04. 1x09: Act of Grace - I mean, listen. I've talked about this a lot but it bears repeating. Staying up until 2am to watch this episode when it premiered and seeing Ed and Stede ACTUALLY KISS changed me as a person. I am different because I experienced that. Not to mention the rest of this episode is peak. Ed calling for the act of grace, the crew voting Olu as captain, the entire "Perfect Day" sequence, just incredible all around.

03. 2x08: Mermen - God this show can do a good finale. I will never stop being bowled over by how much I love this one. The "Moscow" scene? Sexy as hell. Ed and Stede reuniting and Ed telling Stede he loves him? I've watched it three thousand times. THE LETTER? THEY WROTE THEIR NAMES ON EACH OTHER IN PERMANENT INK!!! Also, even though it's highly controversial to say, I thought Izzy's death scene was very very good. Not to mention the entire last few minutes set to "The Times They Are A-Changin'" makes me feel so incredibly soft. I love OFMD soooooo much.

02. 2x03: The Innkeeper - Listen. If this whole episode sucked but it still included the mermaid scene I would still have it this high. That being said, this whole episode is sooooo incredibly good. The opening sequence with Zheng manipulating the rival captain is so well done. Ed in the gravy basket is crazy from beginning to end. Stede plotting to get the crew to safety is peak Stede and I love it. And somehow, after all of that, the episode also ends with one of the most incredible sequences I have ever seen. Watching a man who thought he was fundamentally unlovable get brought back to life because of how much he's loved while "This Woman's Work" plays in the background will follow me forever. Just…some of the most beautiful shit ever put to film.

01. 1x10: Wherever You Go, There You Are - I AM SO SERIOUS WHEN I SAY THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE EPISODES OF TELEVISION OF ALL TIME. The way Ed and Stede's plots through this episode are juxtaposed against each other makes me feel feral. The way that Stede is so out of place and closed off from his family while Ed is actively healing and bonding with the crew ONLY FOR THESE TWO PLOTS TO FLIP WHEN THEY EACH TALK TO THE PERSON WHO REPRESENTED A NONFUNCTIONING RELATIONSHIP TO THEM ALL THE WAY BACK IN EPISODE FOUR! THE WAY MARY AND STEDE GETTING TO TALK AND BE HONEST AND LET EACH OTHER GO ALLOWS STEDE TO FINALLY GROW AND BE HAPPY WHILE IZZY HANGING ON TO THAT TOXIC RELATIONSHIP WITH ALL OF HIS MIGHT AND NOT LETTING ED GROW AND CHANGE WITHOUT HIM FORCES ED BACK INTO THE PITS OF DESPAIR!!! The entire "Avalanche" sequence breaks my heart in the absolute best way and seeing Ed do all this terrible shit with no more spark left in his usually super expressive eyes hurts so good! And then, of course, there's my favourite part of all. Seeing Stede, a man who has been so lost and unmoored, row out into the ocean looking more settled than we've ever seen him while Mary says he's now free and that freedom coming completely from Stede realizing he's in love with another man is something that feels so personally assuring to me I can't even fully express it. The entire "Miles from Nowhere" sequence is incredible to me (and to this day that song is thee OFMD needle drop in my opinion) but that part especially is my favourite thing this show has ever given me hands down. Thank you David Jenkins for my life.

My brain is now controlled by Tophabe to the point I made a parallel between Topher and when a Jinn falls in love, and if you know what I mean, you're swag. If you don't, that's okay, I'll explain it to you.

So, Jinns are from the Arabic and Muslim mythology. They're like intelligent entities if you prefer and live in a world that humans can't see, but Jinns can see us, and sometimes, a Jinn can fall in love with a human.

At this point, the jinn will stay with this human and will do anything to make the relationships of this human fail. DO YOU SEE WHAT I WANT TO TALK ABOUT? TOPHER SOUNDS LIKE THEM, HE IS SO OBSESSED WITH ABE. HE COULD DO ANYTHING TO NEVER SEE HIM IN ANY RELATIONSHIP!

Soooooo, my head brainstormed two AU's about that.

The first is simple: our silly little Topher doesn't exist as a human but as a Jinn. Abe can't see him, but Topher looks at him every day and pushes anyone who can be a potential romantic partner for Abe away to be the only person in Abe's life.

The second AU is that Topher is still a Jinn, but he's been here since the first season. We know that Abe never concluded, even with Cleo, but what if that was Topher's fault???

After that, he waited 20 FUCKING YEARS JUST TO BE WITH HIM AGAIN. He gained power so he could possess someone. This someone being the body Topher has in canon. And now this silly Jinn could do anything to be with the man he's loved for so long, but can't say anything to anyone.

It's so fucking gay and dramatic I love it.

i just finished reading it today so i remember lol (spoiler alert) well first of all i love ajin i think it's one of the best action/thriller mangas i've read.. kei is obviously an interesting protagonist because he's unusual for a main character (kou or kai are more typical mc types) but he's also not the timid type (like shinji lmao), and he knows he's clever. i actually like all the characters, ajin is one of those stories where not a single character goes to waste. i felt that the author really liked sato, he is literally the craziest wasian i have seen in my life. like he actually made me gasp several times because he is so fucking crazy i swear to god. but this backfired and gave too much spotlight to sato that kei's role felt weaker in comparison. i also thought kou was underused, i was soooo disappointed that we never got to see his ibm??!?!?! and kaito's status as a half ajin also felt underdeveloped, i mean i like that there were the parallels with the characters from chapter 0 but i definitely think it was glossed over. and the first half of the story was sooooo well put together that the final arc felt looser, because we got less character development and just a lot of terrorism happening lol the story did end how i thought it would, i just wish some aspects of it were amplified. i know the anime ends with only 2 or was it 3 seasons but now that i've finished reading it, i almost prefer the anime version? kaito's role, the novelty/shock of kei's flood and kou's role in the tunnel felt a lot stronger in the anime, or at least the anime did a good job considering it diverged from the original material. i sound like i'm criticizing it a lot but that's only because i really really enjoy ajin, it's honestly one of the most exciting stories i've read/watched. and the art in the manga is soooooo good, like it really felt like i was watching an action movie?!?!?! like damn that mangaka can draw.... i'm so grateful that the author decided to continue ajin even when the story's original writer left, and i'm glad he changed the art so that it was more to his liking i really admire that! anyway i think everyone should read or watch ajin it's so fucking fun. i'll probably rewatch the anime at some point god it's so good

BILLIE LANE is the ultimate lucky student from weston, florida. this killing game is comprised of primarily former ultimates (age 18-40), however billie is the youngest participant of the bunch at 15!! and she is the most fifteen year old girl of all time. shes awkwardly polite and can get a bit judgemental even if it is well intentioned, and is dealing with a whole lot of teenage angst (<- undiagnosed mental health issues 😔). shes a character created to be adaptable in the rp, meaning she is VERY susceptible to the more charismatic presences and will often pick up traits and phrases she hears from them, and shape what she believes to be right and wrong around the people she trusts. and when she thinks something is right or wrong, she is STUBBORN about it!! even if shes awkward, she despises feeling helpless because of her age and has a very strong sense of justice! :0

billie considers herself to be extremely unremarkable and desperately wants to stand out, which leads her towards a more alternative style (featuring clothes she sees in magazines and tv shows). she is soooooo painfully aware that she has no talent, which further plays into this debilitating feeling of helplessness shes been experiencing for the past few years lol. shes got a whole ton of hobbies but they never last long-- recently its been button collecting :]

ANDI my best friend andi is an artificial intelligence designed alongside the virtual reality experience the cast is in!! she uses a female interface when talking with the houseguests and was designed to be and LOOK as approachable as possible, with a blue colour scheme (the company she works for is called New Waters lol) and an ever changing rotation of hotel clerk outfits. it is extremely polite and helpful, and holds very little bias towards quite literally anything. they're also the sole rule enforcer of the simulator, with a very strict internal law that they follow wholeheartedly. so hopefully nobody 😋 fucks with that internal law 😋 because that could mean bad things 😋

very very unfortunately i cant go in depth with her just because a LOT of andi is a spoiler to the people in the rp but ASK ME AGAIN IN A COUPLE OF DAYS!!!!!! 😁😁😁

Hi I’m here to scream about Bo-Katan because the parallel between her taking the darksaber in Guns for Hire and Heroes of Mandalore TOOK ME OUT. I’m all the way in my feels for this girl she DESERVES this but you know that even as she takes that blade, looking like she doesn’t have a single doubt or regret anywhere in her mind, that she’s feeling so many conflicting emotions about that blade and what it means to take on this role again.

Ugh it hurts so much to see her doing this I’m not gonna lie, like on one hand it’s awesome and she SHOULD be the one to reunite Mandalore, she deserves it, but in the other hand she’s already tried and failed so many times and to see her step into this role yet again, knowing that she’s risking breaking her heart and losing what little she has all over again, all because she wants her people to be strong and prosperous again, makes me want to fucking sob like Jesus Christ someone give her a hug and a stiff drink lord knows she needs one.

While I want that damn sword yeeted into a volcano, it was nice to see her get it (mostly because she's soooooo much more badass with it than Din). I didn't love the round about way she got it back, though kudos to Din for figuring out (but, dude, you JUST thought of that?). But she's getting more and more thrusted back into a leadership role, and I honestly think she's just tired.

And, one point I'd like to make is that while I am SURE Bo thinks she failed as a leader, I don't think that's fair for her or us to think. She DID manage to get Mandalore's shit whipped back into shape after Maul (if people nearly 20 years on still consider her the rightful ruler, according to Fenn). That's hardly a failure.

But after that, she was up against the Empire. And we all know how terrible the Empire is. Even to planets and people who didn't resist their occupation, they were still cruel. And to people who fought back?

Well, it's little wonder Mandalore got glassed. If the Death Star hadn't been blasted (not really sure where in the timeline the glassing occurred, but I assume it was after at least the first), I don't think there would be an actual planet left to reclaim. They just nuked it, instead.

Fighting and losing against the Empire isn't failure. It is an actual fact of life in that era of the GFFA. The Empire used fear and MASSIVE weapons to rule, and it would have been nearly impossible to truly win. Yeah, Bo helped beat the Empire back, out of Sundari at least, but I think that ultimately made them come back even harder, and I hate that she counts these things as failure.

All that being said, I think she rather sink into the ground than lead again. And I don't trust the Armorer. But here she is, her new bestie Din backing her, and it's time to lead these hellraisers....again.
