With s3 on the horizon, I have the umbrella academy on the brain, so here’s some of a new oc, Billie!

“You were shaking-“ whatever Diego was going to end his sentence with was cut off as Billie’s head stacked memories on eachother.

Her mother, her original mother, with her shoulders shaking in the cold of their backyard. Five holding his hands over a fire, shaking as he tried to get warm. Klaus shaking as he went through withdraws, head snapping to the side. Her father, her newest father, and his shaking hands as he did the crossword.

Sitting down, she put her head in her hands. Too many memories, too many lives.

“You okay?” Five asked, hand coming up to support her back.

“I’m fine,” she insisted, giving him a smile. He didn’t return it.

“I know Diego can be a lot, but people don’t usually have to sit down because of it.” he pointed out, using his other hand to hold hers. She laughed lightly, wishing she could turn around to see if he’d heard it.

“It’s just uh. My memories are stacking on top of each other. I have too many from the same time of my life,” she explained, watching his face fall.

“It doesn’t need a solution now, we’ll solve it after the apocalypse,” she promised, giving his hand a squeeze.

“We will, and then it won’t matter. Because your not dying again, not for a long time,” Five sealed his promise with a kiss to her hand.

“Don’t make promises you can’t keep,” she reminded him, holding his hand a little tighter.

“I’m not,”

“So boy genius, what’s the next part of the plan?” Diego asked, plopping down next to them.

“Why don’t you go spend some time with your own girlfriend and let us figure that out?” Billie teased, watching as Diego got progressively more tense.

“She’s not my girlfriend. God, I forgot why I hated both of you,” Diego said, standing up and walking out of sight.
