SPOP Alias AU

This is just a full on incoherent ramble about some misc thoughts I had about this so I am putting it under the cut 😅

for the benefit of the youths, Alias was a show about spies! and plot twists! and wigs! and how Jennifer Garner looks good in literally any outfit you put her in (seriously, just google Sydney Bristow disguises)

(so this is not a 1:1 AU but general spoilers for the TV show Alias to follow)

Adora is Sidney basically and working for what she thinks is the CIA doing nerd stuff at a desk job. And then her finance, Catra, is murdered!

And she's still mourning but Light Hope sends her on an undercover mission to do sexy spy work in Outfits! and Wigs! and while on a mission could swear she sees… Catra, whaaa?

So she's like WHAT is happening and goes back to Light Hope who is cryptic and says if she wants answers she has to join the CIA. And Adora is basically like, "…do i not already work for the CIA?" and finds out, in fact, she does not and her entire team (which is basically all the Horde characters) are actually working for SD6, an evil organization pretending to be the CIA. The real CIA (the princess alliance) wants her to go undercover and help take SD6 down from the inside. And she agrees because she wants to find out what happened to Catra. (And I know you're thinking why not make Catra Vaughn aka her handler but it's more fun if Catradora are both kinda on opposite sides for a while so her handler can be Mara and Adora is never really sure how much to trust her bc her girlfriend Light Hope is also a double agent working for SD6 and whose side are any of them really on?).

Light Hope and Mara kinda share the role of morally ambiguous Jack Bristow/mentor figure and Shadow Weaver is Sloan.

Anyway, meanwhile, Bow is Adora's innocent civilian roommate / best friend who has no idea that any of this spy nonsense is going on (so, he's Will aka Bradly Cooper before he was cool) but has been very earnestly trying to investigate Catra's "death" because something doesn't add up. He accidentally uncovers too much though and Light Hope thinks that he is a weak spot that SD6 could use to keep to Adora in line (bc Adora is starting to doubt their mission, the same reason that Catra had to fake her death). So Light Hope sends one of their best agents (Glimmer because I am who I am) to spy on and eventually eliminate Bow.

Meanwhile, Catra is basically a combo of Irina and Nadia (obviously not actually related to Adora) but where it's unclear which side she is on or how much influence SW as Sloane has on her but she ultimately prove to be on the side of good after lots of homoerotic fighting in Wigs! and Outfits!

So, in the show, (big spoilers for Alias) Adora's two best IRL non-CIA friends are Will and Francie and eventually Will and Francie start dating... but it turns out that the real Francie was murdered and someone else stole her face and is posing as Francie to spy on Will and manipulate him. (Alias is WILD, man) And Will eventually finds out and has to murder this person who l looks like his best friend that he loves in self defense. So! Clearly we are not doing that!

Instead, we are going to steal some of the vibes and have Glimmer (who Bow has no preexisting relationship to) sent in as an agent whose job is to seduce him and get close to him and pretend to be his girlfriend to keep an eye on Adora (bc Light Hope doubts her loyalty knowing she's trying to find Catra). And Glimmer starts to become torn about her mission as she starts to genuinely like Adora and feel bad about betraying her and to actually fall for Bow for real. So when she gets the order down to kill Bow, she can't do it and flees. Her only ally is the disgraced Shadow Weaver, who fled when SD6 fell apart and is perfectly happy to manipulate Glimmer in her darkest hour.

She teams up with Catra who recognizes she's not a bad person and then two of them take down SW and get back into the CIA's good graces.

Meanwhile, Adora puts Bow into the witness protection program which protects him because everyone wants to kill him now, but also means he has to cut all ties with his family. So he HATES Glimmer for all those months of lying to/using him and ruining his life. He starts to work for the CIA as well because what else is he going to do after all that? and Glimmer is working there too after it's revealed she ultimately protected Bow and Adora and her and Catra took out SW so she comes to work there and ✨ tension✨. Because he's really mad at her and doesn't trust her at all but they have to work together and have been fake dating for a year and how much of those feelings were real and something something eventually they start to become actual friends for real this time and decide to try dating for real and they kind of pretend they just met and try to keep it all sweet like a real first date except they have too much history and end up fast burning.

And while Glimbow are being a disaster Catra and Adora are trying to rebuild what they had but the whole war between the factions have made them very different people and they need to figure out how to get back to each other while stopping SW who is back from the dead and looking for magic First Ones artifacts that lead to immortality / the end of the entire world.

Standard stuff, really.

its me and @wordforworldisforest 's creation! basically miranda and thomas are best friends since childhood in a very expensive ivy feeder private pre-k-12 school. in high school flint gets a sports scholarship (i think we were originally thinking soccer altho im liking the idea of boxing or wrestling makes more sense?) to their school. blah blah blah throuple years and then thomas is sent to conversion therapy camp where he commits and thats for real sorry thomas. in revenge miranda and flint kill thomas's father, but he's super rich and super influential so they're forced to go on the run and they do that for 10ish years.

they reach the town that the rest of the group lives in about a year after the first one ends, so the baby is born and the six of them have very much settled into a routine. miranda gets a job as a bookkeeper in town and flint gets a job on a fishing boat, which is where he meets anne and vane. miranda meets madi at the library (she keeps up w the news in case there's anything abt her or thomas's families). miranda gets close w madi first and flint develops an incredibly antagonistic relationship with vane. later flint vane and madi will bond over communism etc they'll get him to start reading more and finding purpose in life again bc when he and miranda first killed thomas's dad he had all this righteous rage but after 10 years of just running around the states it's mostly burned out

miranda's actually first to spend more time with madi and then max bc the three of them have drastically different perspectives on life but in a weird way it is complementary. so flint sees that first that she starts brightening that she starts really liking the town and bringing up the idea of staying there. she eventually drags him to the bar to see jack anne and vane perform (there's love here...and music......) which is where he meets silver for the first time. and hates him!

anyways...i dont really see flint being as close to the rest of them as miranda will end up being like that's something him and vane will end up having in common which is that they dont feel close to every single person in the group but as he falls in love w silver and months (and eventually years) go by he finds real peace purpose and love in having roots/family for what's kind of the first time in his life.

he and max end up as bitchy gay lion drinking buddies which is good for both of them. him and anne work out together he teaches her to box but they dont really talk. him and jack aren't particularly close, altho they do talk about books sometimes with miranda. him and vane will never be FRIENDS friends, and in fact for the first few months literally cant be in the same room together, but madi likes and trusts flint, which softens vane up, and they do end up respecting each other. him and silver develop a weird codependence which is slightly less pronounced than the show since miranda's alive and still flint's close friend but i was thinking that they grow to have some distance as time passes bc they were so close for so long and it was so painful for both of them. so they both develop other relationships that are probably healthier.

miranda madi and max end up really really tight like a little girl friend group they're all very different but they are all talkative in exact complementary ways so they spend a ton of time together. miranda doesnt know how to talk to anne but likes her a lot. she doesn't know how to talk to vane either and likes him way way less. as for jack him and her click very very well bc his music is the first thing that makes her take the idea of staying seriously and they're very stimulating to each other like they find each other super fun and hang out all the time

thats the vague premise. idk what the plot would be but thats what we wouldve written if either of us had the time or inclination. if you read all this you're odd but thank you <3

I'm really glad this pretty dark AU has been entertaining for you and others despite some of the heavy topics in it. I appreciate that you want to hear more, but I think I'll want to take a bit of a break before I dig deep into it again given how heavy it is, especially since I just did a follow up of sorts discussing Ian's more problematic traits when it comes to his relationship with MC. It might be a good idea to focus on something a little lighter next as a palette cleanser, hahaha.

Though maybe I could think of a couple bright spots for that particular AU. Hmm...

Alice's family, at least those still living at the King house, do all chip in to help her take care of Lily. This is good since her health took a hard hit from the pregnancy and she would struggle otherwise. This allows her to have more time to rest and recover.

This also allows Jack more time to talk to Alice one on one despite the presence of a newborn demanding mommy's attention. Granted, a lot of time is spent just resting in the guestroom or outside in the garden when she's not taking care of the baby, but Jack does his best to keep Alice entertained while she's recovering, and he's the absolute best at being a cuddly teddy bear for her when she has to lie down.

The King house still has plenty of baby stuff in storage, so they're well prepared to help Alice out with the baby. It's more reason why mama Lycoris wants Alice to just move back home for good. Their house is big and she won't mind, nor will papa Zephyr.

Yup, papa King has a name now too. Guess this AU is oddly helping me with picking out names, huh?

Jack is really good with children, and whenever Lily starts crying, he just has a knack for getting her to calm down. It's almost like magic how he can just radiate calm emotions and help her understand that there's nothing to fear. Alice can't help but feel the same way about Jack really. He's just such a wonderful presence in her life after things have gotten so hard on her. He's been invaluable to help Alice take care of Lily and minimizing her stress.

Jack's empathy cheat and connection to both Alice and Lily really comes in handy at this point doesn't it?

While Alice is going to need more time than in Sunshine in Hell to even think about being in another romantic relationship, she does grow really close to Jack very quickly. Although... he's not the only guy crushing on her who wants to help out.

When Shaun comes back in town, he would have crashed with Alice for a while, but since she's a guest at her family's place, that's not doable. He does, however, get a nice bed and breakfast nearby until he finds a new place to settle down in, and he stops by as often as possible, much to Jack's annoyance. Alice is grateful for his visits and he never fails to make her laugh, which is also to Jack's annoyance.

Shaun even brings Moonpie over to visit Alice, and he mock fights with her over whose baby is cuter. Alice and Shaun eventually concede on a draw of a vote of one vs one... until Jack acts as tiebreaker and throws in his vote for Lily. That will probably be how Alice decides to try introducing Jack's existence to Shaun, though it's possible Alice will tell one or more of her family members about Jack before that. Coraline would just be thrilled to meet a ghost after all.

Needless to say, Shaun is both excited to meet Jack and a bit wary given Alice is in a vulnerable state. Still, she does insist Jack helped her, especially when Ian kept trying to see her, so that does give Jack some brownie points in Shaun's book.

Not that the feeling will necessarily be mutual from Jack. Shaun is yet another obstacle between Jack and his sunshine after all. Who knows though, maybe they'll bond over their mutual disdain for Ian and desire to protect Alice here too.

Huh. This got longer than I expected it to. I guess there are some more bright spots even in this dark AU than I thought. Then again I'm always a sucker for thoughts about my OTP being cuddly and sweet. I'll leave this post on that note with the image of Jack spooning Alice from behind while she nurses Lily, being this big protective teddy bear to his beloved sunshine and little sunspot.

aus would be obsessed with peanut, i mean so crazy obsessed. shows all the guys pictures of her, facetimes her and tried to get mama to stay with him all the time. here’s the thing: i could see them hooking up after having peanut, after they have been on good terms for months, just for aus to get scared and distance himself.

he wants to be with mama but he knows it might not work and be worse for peanut.

broo, aus is a girl dad through and through. you best believe when o'reilly came to toronto or when matty knies came up, he's just showing them all pics of his camera roll and it's all peanut. her wearing a little dress, her dressed in his jersey, her eating nutella straight out of the jar - it's just all peanut. he's always fting mama and talking to peanut after a game, whether they did good or bad. one time he forgot after a really bad game, and peanut forced mama to ft him bcz she wanted to talk to him.

mama's a pretty rational person, which is why she broke up with aus in the first place, but i can imagine a really good game, where aus played amazing and he's on this crazy adrenaline high and gives mama a whole speech and they sleep together, only for aus to wake up the next morning and want to hit himself. he doesn't regret sleeping with mama, he just knows that he can't have this bcz mama's right. at the end of the day, she doesn't have anyone in toronto or arizona. she can stay every now and then (like she already does) but it's not fair for him to ask her to leave everything she has. (if you love someone, you need to learn to let them go is their entire relationship). so he closes himself off, and mama, who's always rational and thinks with her head instead of her heart, would just break down calling jack or quinn (most likely quinn bcz jack would fly to toronto and murder aus on the spot). bcz the one time in her entire life when she thought with her heart and not her head, she got her heart smashed to tiny little pieces.

it'd take a long time for the two of them to heal, but they would coparent peanut, and would eventually be on good terms with each other (mama's too forgiving, which is why jack never forgives)

So, Within the Walls of Corona is about to end and we'll be moving on to the next fic in the series!

Exciting. But also nerve-racking for me, Within the Walls had this nice chill episodic feel whereas upcoming arcs are a bigger and more story driven.

So, if you enjoyed Within the Walls, perhaps you'd like to hear some of the deleted arcs? Here are a few tid-bits from my notes that never made it in:

Cassandrs vs Eugene

This is one of my fave Season 1 episodes, but... there was very little from it that would make sense to add to this AU, and the notes I had showed this:

"You two need to learn to get along," Rapunzel said with crossed arms from outside the cell.

"But... we do?" Cassandra looked confused.

"Raps, we're just playing jokes, you know, for as annoying, cold, heartless, unforgiving, graceless..." Though he could keep going Rapunzel's expression led him to realize that was not how he would get the point across. "I still care about her."

Rapunzel shook her head. "I just think if you spend some time alone you'll learn to express your emotions in a less mutually destructive manner."

Eugene and Cassandra shared glances. Both quite enjoyed the current dynamic and didn't really want to change it.

"Here, while you solve the puzzles I set up for you, you can enjoy these especially home-baked cookies!"

As she left, Cassandra crossed her arms. "Oh, come on, put in prison by my own sister!"

"I always knew you'd end up in prison," Eugene joked.

Cassandra laughed before shaking her head. "Give me a cookie, I need the energy if I'm putting up with you for longer than usual."

"Magic word?"

"Give me one or I'll use my power as princess to have you evicted."

"Close enough," he handed her the whole basket.

"Ah," Cassandra pulled out a cookie unsurprised by the picture on it.

"Not your favourite flavour?"

She looked through the basket. "Coordinated cookies," she starting eating the one she had before heading to the wall to get the first clue, she didn't bother telling Eugene what she was doing as she went from clue to clue without asking him for assistance.

"Teamwork," Eugene said as he stood and watched, taking a cookie for himself.

Cassandra smiled. "I've done these puzzle games a billion times while growing up with Raps. I usually at least pretend to struggle a bit."

"Ah," Eugene took another cookie.

Eventually, they had a bunch of pieces on the floor.

"That's new," Cassandra tilted her head. "Guess it makes something."

Eugene moved to the ground with her. Together they built a jack.

"I'm not risking damaging palace property!" Cassandra shouted after Eugene told her what it was.

"Ah!" Eugene stood up, grabbing it. "Sot hat's the teamwork part! You solve puzzles and I break stuff!"

"Eugene..." Cassandra was tempted to stop him from forcing the cell door open but... Well, she didn't feel like an afternoon in prison.

"And we're free... How are we getting revenge on Blondie?"

"Ooooh, I say we make some puzzles and put her in a cell with Monty!"

Eugene laughed. "Good one! I was just thinking of switching the salt and sugar in the morning!"

The Stabbingtons

I assumed these two would come back, but with Cassandra vs Eugene gone, I had plans for a small arc with them.

The summary in my notes was:

While Eugene is redecorating his room he finds the scrap of paper with his plan to steal the crown scribbled on it. He proudly shows it to Cassandra and Rapunzel, explaining all the intricate steps he had to take to get the plan in motion, from figuring out the palace's floor plan to finding people to work with him and landing on the Stabbingtons.

When he mentions that the Stabbingtons and him had worked together since teens, Cassandra asks if he doesn't feel bad that they're in prison while he's free? This gets Eugene thinking about his past and all of the things that led up to his present.

Overthinking leads him to having nightmares, which eventually leads him to heading down to the prison to talk to his old coworkers. Said coworkers were worse than his nightmares and he very quickly regrets his attempts at friendly conversation.

Thankfully, the Captain of the Guard has noticed Eugene's odd behaviours and is nearby to save the day. After rescuing Eugene he sits the man down and pulls out his and the Stabbington's criminal records, pointing out some key differences which help Eugene to feel less guilty.

This arc didn't happen for a few reasons:

1.- I forgot about it.

2.- I thought I'd include more of their past in Eugene's prequel fic though now I'm considering weaving that fic into the main series so who knows.

3.- They needed to convince Lady Caine to break out for the Criminals of Corona arc.

We will still get more of the Stabbingtons in the Season 2 rewrite most likely.

The Royal Pardon

How do I even start to explain this one? Basically, summary from my notes:

Frederic, Arianna and Rapunzel leave the palace for a family picnic. Cassandra isn't going because she had a nightmare the night before about ending up alone. Eugene decides to stay back because he's worried about Cassandra and still isn't entirely comfortable around the king and queen.

The day goes one and the royal family doesn't return.

Guards go out to find them, rumours begin to spread.

Eugene and Cassandra are both scared, Eugene considers leaving to go find them but Cassandra is a worried mess and the advisers are expecting her to lead. (this would have been pretty early on in the fic so we're talking a Cassandra with far less training and confidence than where we are now)

After Eugene promises to help, Cassandra accepts her responsibility, but just as she steps up, one of the advisers confronts her.

"You cannot rule over this kingdom. You are nothing more than a criminal."

Cassandra is taken aback. "I am the princess. What crimes do you speak of?" Her voice lacks certainty though Arianna assured her that being alone as a child had not been her own fault.

"You helped a known thief escape the guards."

Cassandra looked at Eugene and frowns. "I... did... but... I'm sorry, what does this have to do with anything?"

"You cannot rule with a criminal charge you have not yet served."

Cassandra looked at Eugene who stepped forward with his arms crossed. "Those charged were forgiven by the king and queen, they hold no importance."

Cassandra nodded.

"They can only be forgiven if you have a royal pardon."

"She does. We do," Eugene argued.

"Then let's see it, otherwise, the guards will have to accompany you both down to the dungeons."

Cassandra stepped back. Eugene looked shocked.

"Guards." The adviser smiled as he held his head high.

Eugene was quick to pull a piece of paper from the inner pocket of his vest. "Here's mine."

The adviser looked shocked and quite honestly upset at this development, however he still looked expectantly at Cassandra who of course didn't have a signed pardon on her person. Nor was there a signed pardon anywhere, because nobody had thought such a thing necessary despite the law being written in ink.

Eugene watched the guards take Cassandra away to the dungeon. He watched the adviser take the throne and it didn't take a genius to know there was foul play. However, he knew Rapunzel could take care of herself, right now Eugene needed to get Cassandra out of the dungeon.

Cassandra curled up in the corner of the dungeon feeling like a fool. She wasn't a princess, she wasn't a future rule of this kingdom, she was a criminal. This was where she belonged.

Captain tried to talk to her and reassure her she'd done nothing wrong. Promised her he'd find her family and they'd write out a royal pardon if that was what needed to be done, but she wouldn't talk to him.

Eugene comes down to the dungeon.

"I can't let you see her..." Captain tells Eugene. "I have orders and must follow the law even if..."

"I don't need you to break the law," Eugene decided. "Can you see her?"

He nodded.

"Can you give her this," Eugene handed him some parchment and a pen.

"Umm... yes. Why?"

Eugene grinned, extremely proud of himself. "A royal pardon follow the following format: I, name of royal, with title, title of royal. Forgive, insert name, citizen of Corona for, insert crimes. Then the signature."

Captain raised a brow.

"The only conditions is it must be written and signed by a royal, and the person forgiven is a citizen of Corona, or in my cause accepts citizenship." He grinned. "It says nothing about a royal not being able to forgive themselves!"

Captain's eyes widened. "Cassandra holds the title of princess."

"Precisely. It's an extremely corrupt system but today we make good use of it."

Cassandra and Eugene go back upstairs, when presenting the pardon the adviser argues and argues until eventually he tried to attack Cassandra and is arrested.

Once Cassandra has everything under control and seems to have calmed down, Eugene head out to find the royal family.

(obviously during arc we switch between royal family and Eugene and Cass).

Rapunzel had already escaped the tunnels where they'd been tricked into and when they get home everything is as it should be. After they explain everything to the king and queen an investigation is to be done on the rogue adviser.

"I don't recall ever signing a pardon for Eugene..." Arianna whispers. "Usually we just do verbals pardons which I guess isn't the best thing to do but..."

Eugene laughed. "Ah, you have so much on your mind Your Majesty, it's normal to forget some things." Eugene hid behind Cassandra. "Anyway, good thing you did though, or we'd all be in trouble, right?"

Frederic raised a brow. "Right..."

Eugene and Cass working together! More Corona corruption! And, the entire reason the arc was ever considered, Eugene forging royal signatures just in case. The arc never happened because, well, Queen for a Day is pretty similar without the rogue adviser.

The Snuggly Duckling Arc

I had an arc which in my notes is summarized as:

The girls revisit the Snuggly Duckling and spend some time with each of the locals. They learn more about their dreams and try to figure out how they can help each of them!

It's simple, it's sweet, but it's a bit boring. This definitely still happened off-screen, in fact, in Queen for a Day it is brought up. But there's already enough low tension content in Within the Walls without this one.

The Wrath of Ruthless Ruth

Another episode that did not make the cut but I never skip over an episode without at least brainstorming a bit. And I thought this one would make it because it's the one where we see how worried Frederic is, however, he kinda already does this in arcs such as Equis and Criminals of Corona. So, with nothing much to add, it got cut, here are the notes though:

"This book is fascinating," Cassandra whispered from her spot cross legged on the floor of the public library. Rapunzel had nearly tripped over her four times already but Cassandra refused to move to a seat, too far from the bookcase she claimed.

"And new?"

"No. We have a copy at the palace," she put it back, picking out another.

Arianna had told the girls about the public library having some amazing fantasy books, but Cassandra was in the law sections, finding out how other kingdom's worked.

Rapunzel frowned at the sound of the door opening but nobody in sight.

Cassandra was too caught up in her reading to notice.

"Is it just me or... are we perhaps not alone?"

"It's a public library," Cassandra found a book about Ingvarr's law titled "Honour and Law". Rapunzel sighed.

(girls notice the guards, decide to make a game out of it, escape to snuggly duckling but storm hits)

"I love storms," Cassandra said, sitting near a window with a hot chocolate in hand. The Snuggly Duckling's beverages options had really increased recently, between Lance bringing Red and Catalina, Eugene bringing Cassandra and Rapunzel in, plus all the locals trying their best not to drink too much so they could stay on track with their dreams, it had become an almost respectable establishment.

"I wish I'd brought a book from the library!" Rapunzel added.

"Oh, but it'd be soaked, just like us," Cassandra laughed.

"Ah, true. So, how are things?" Rapunzel asked Vladimir.

(after not long at all and reassurance from the locals that guards everywhere was normal)

The captains walks in, scaring the locals and making Rapunzel grin because she knew they were being followed!

"Ah, hello! Good afternoon! A drink please," he asked Vladimir who was behind the bar clearly taking in the presence of both princesses. "You two come here too?" he acted surprised.

"Yeah, but somehow we've never seen you here Captain," Rapunzel teased.

Cassandra laughed. "Almost as though you were--"

"Just seeking cover from the rain?" Captain laughed. "You caught me princess, very smart."

Neither girl corrected him as they shook their heads.

And that's where my notes end.

It was cute, got to see the bar from the pov of the girls who find the best in everything. Captain interacting with the girls is always fun but... it's a musical episode and just not enough changes to be worth including.

Max's Enemy

Well, we got Criminals of Corona instead. However, I did have this one cute note before it got cut:

Maximus lay down near one of the castle walls, his head on the ground, his legs spread out. Some would say it was a sign of trust, which wasn't completely wrong. Maximus did trust he was safe within the palace garden, but Cassandra could easily see the horse was depressed.

"Hey," she sat down next to him.

Maximus huffed air out of his nose.

"Not as happy as everybody else about the new friend, huh?"

His ear twitched.

"I understand," she lay down next to him. "Feeling like you're being replaced."

He looked away.

"You can't be replaced, Maximus."

He hit her with his tail.

"I'm not just saying that Max. Look, things change, right now I'm the new hot-shot on the guard and I'm beating up older guards right and left, right?"

Max looked up at her.

"That doesn't take away from all those guards have done over years of service. I'm also not saying you're old, you've got plenty of years left of service," she hugged him.

Max huffed.

"But when you do one day retire Max, you'll still be one of my favourite horses, and one of Corona's favourite horses. You know why?"

He looked up at her.

"You will always be the horse who was smart and strong enough to bring back the lost princess."

Maximus's ears rose and he raised his head, because that was true. He stood up and shook himself, looking proud.

Cassandra laughed. "That's the attitude!"

Other ideas in my notes were:

Eugene and Cassandra try to teach Rapunzel to use a sword.

Eugene makes amends (he goes around doing good deeds for all the businesses and people he recalled wronging as a thief).

Arianna goes on an adventure (Rapunzel bring their mother to an underground secret tournament being held in the tunnels under Corona. She doesn't want to say anything negative out of fear her daughters won't invite her along next time, but the events get more and more dangerous. Then some loud noise causes the tunnels to collapse. Cassandra and Arianna are on one side while Rapunzel and Eugene another. Instead of stopping the fights they keep going, Cassandra seems to be having fun but then one of the goes too far and even when Cassandra forfeits keeps going. Arianna picks up a sword and beats the guy. Finally giving up and telling the girls off for their carelessness once they're all four back together. She expects them to be upset but they instead apologize and hug).

Alchemy IS Magic (Eugene and Varian have an argument over the technical definitions of stuff, Cassandra tries her hands at alchemy and Rapunzel sets a tree on fire).

No more animals in the palace (after Mrs Cowley discovers a stash of dead mice in one of the suits of armour she declares no more animals in the palace. Cassandra and Rapunzel can be found sleeping in the stable with their animal buddies).

And then there are the deletes arcs from my notebook... oops.

Is jack manifold present in the parfait au at all :)?

well he EXISTS.. immediately post smp he's probably at his lowest low. lower than death anyone he once considered a friend does not care to give him the time of day. he's sort of a recluse entirely. hannah remembers him though. it's funny but I actually think she's the key to getting him back his life. it starts with small things like instigating conversations whenever she sees him (not especially often) to trying to insert herself more and more into his life.

jack is like a spicy kitten at first and is VERY RUDE but hannah is nothing if not fiery and persistent herself. it's almost like a challenge to her, how long can she stick around until he gets mad and how long can she stay with him after that. eventually he just caves and learns to be a friend again, it's really nice. Feeling cared for and like he can care about someone, the competitive aggression that seems to be baked into his relationships is still there but it's much more playful now. Jack and Hannah are like those friends that constantly beat each other up for the hell of it

Through her he meets tina and they both convince him to get the fuck out of that hotel and move into kinoko. and it scares him. but he does it cause what can be worse than that awful red giant thing? He's finally making friends it's better it has to be better and he feels so so bad that it's not he's angry and it's scary and as much as people tell him it's allll a part of healing it doesn't feel that way at all. One day he sees Niki again and it all just bubbles over while they're standing in the grocery store. he misses her very much and just starts crying all while she's like. awkwardly patting him on the back with a box of shell pasta.

They'll rekindle, after a bit more time and a few more tears but it'll happen I'm sure. Maybe with fundy too, to me coconut duo and jack were extremely close as kids. There are some people I don't think he'll ever be able to fully connect with again, but that's ok. He really doesn't need to, probably best for him to focus on living again anyway. ANyway i'm gonna go eat have a good night

Re-Writing Offender!

This post is basically everything I changed about this character and how I made him on the same level of terrible as any other CP character. Even if you don’t know who he is, feel free to find out what he’s like in my AU!

Let’s get started!

                                                    General Stuff

So, I actually got the idea to write this out after listening to "The House of Asmodeus" song from Helluva Boss (highly suggest checking it out).

His personality is somewhat a mix of Asmodeus from that and Lucifer from the show on Netflix (it's title is literally Lucifer, also suggest checking it out)

He's still very flirty, full of himself, and purposefully does things to get a reaction out of others.

He does flirt with Slender's workers but he doesn't mean anything by it, he just finds their reactions funny.

He projects himself as really having no interest in romance and only toying with people for the fun of it (will explain that further later here), making most think he's a heartless asshole.

Deep down he does want his relationships to work out, he wants to have someone to call his own and genuinely love. But ya know literally n o b o d y can be honest with their feelings and it doesn't help that he is literally a freaking demonic being from another realm going after humans. Only people he's actually close with know that part (Like Splendor and Kagekao, no Slender is not one of the people)

                                            How he is With Victims

THIS is by far what makes him such a terrible character. What makes people hate him. So lemme go into how I fix it!

He kinda handles things like Jason the Toymaker and Laughing Jack. He'll get close to them, actually somewhat develop a relationship (in his case romantic) and eventually ends in him killing them, usually either after he gets bored or after showing them his true form and receiving a negative reaction because of it

1st off, c o n s e n t. He won't go for someone if they aren't interested in him, he knows how to hear the word no and respect it

He does sleep around, will do one night stands which may or may not end in the partners death, it all depends on his mood

Like Jason, he does want a true relationship with his victims, but nobody ever fits the standard that Offender needs (ya know- not thinking he's a complete monster)

                                                         Backstory

Basically, the same story I'm fairly sure is cannon with a few edits to fit with my Au. In case you don't know the basics of it:

All of the Slender brothers once lived normal lives, including Offender. Under the human name Trey he lived out his life like any normal kid. In grade school, he became friends with a girl named Rose. She was the first person outside of his family to know he was not human. Sure she put a bit of distance between them, but come high school things were relatively the same, so he thought things were fine. He fell in love with her and confessed. She, however, rejected him, calling him a freak and questioning why he ever thought she'd love a monster like him. So ya know- he didn't like that and killed her, along with multiple other people he later found out had talked shit behind his back with her. If everyone was going to paint him as a monster, why should he even try to be anything else?

                                                   Closing Thoughts

So yes he is still an asshole, yes he is still not a good person, but nobody in Creepypasta is.

I hope I've made him more bearable, and hopefully, some people can feel a l i t t l e sympathy for him.

BLACK SHEEP BOMBA LORE PLEASE 🙏🏻

BWEHEEEE MY GIRLIEEEE I LOVE BOMB!! she's my fav to write for!! lets GO

THIS GIRL. She is so talented and sweet. Bomba is that 'cool girl' friend u wish u had growing up. She accepts ANYONE for who they are and is an INCREDIBLY good listener. She's hot-headed and defensive of her friends and will take ANYONE under her wing.

Bomba is pretty good at grounding Tugger, she's beenn with him in his best and worst moments through tick and thin. They have a very special bond. One friendhsip that comes every lifetime where the connection is so strong its hard to break. Even when they argue, shout the worst things at each other, it all comes back to fruition. They can't hate each other.

She has a massive soft spot for Mistoffelees. They have a sibling dynamic, her as an older sister figure he never got to have as he lives life as the older brother in his own home.

Bomba is an only child. Her parents worked a lot, so she didn't really have much to do other than trips to grandmas house or visits from countless babysitters. She didn't get much attention as a child, so she acted out a lot as a teen. On her first night, sneaking into a bar at 15, she met Tugger who too had snuck downstairs from his room to party. The two were eventually found out by Skimble, who sent them upstairs. They spent the ENTIRE night talking, bonding, sharing their emotional highs and lows. Theyre special :]

Bomba has an addictive personality. It hasn't really landed her in the best hands in life.

Cassandra and her have a sweet bond. Despite them not beign as close as her and Tugger, Cassandra is the person she turns to with emotional problems as she is best equipped with advice.

Bomba has no idea what she wants to do. It's her biggest fear, reaching 30 with no career prospects. She studies music at university, but has constant reminders from her parents that it will "lead her nowhere" despite her talent.

Bomba's bass is a Godin Dorchester 4, one she immediatley bought with her student loan and its her prized posession. She lived off of noodle packets and cheap, freezer food for a long time for this. It was worth it.

Her favourite bands are Be your own PET, OTEP, Meanstreak, Slipknot and Iron Maiden. She is open to any genre though, except numetal, top 40 pop and country. She hates 'em.

Bomba picked up bass guitar in secondary school, attending an after school 'rock band' club. She excelled at it.

Mungojerrie and her have a rocky friendship, but after everything they've been through, she forgives him without a second glance. Bomba doesn't hold grudges, even when someone does something unforgiveable. She becomes more disappointed, but tries to be optimistic. At the end of the day, it was probably important that bad things happen to her, it allows her to get better and learn.

Her favourite foods are simple. She's a burger and fries gal. But she LOVES salsa and chips. She likes carb-y snacky food and sodas.

Her drink of choice is either sparkling strawberry wine or jack and coke >:] She also likes shots over mixers.

Despite the rest of the group being mostly english (my AU is set in the UK, since i fuelled a lot of my upbringing into the setting), I imagine Bomba as American! I think she sounds and sings like Jemima Pearl from BYOP.

She can survive on 2 hours sleep max. Bomba is mostly always awake. Make's it handy when she has to cram for a test or give late night advice to a friend.

Bomba prefers house parties to clubs or bars, but Gus and Skimble's bar is her second home.

Rumpleteazer and Bomba are also close friends! They have been since secondary school. She's also known Jerrie for a long time, since Jerrie and Teazer are dating !!

She has a tattoo of 3 red roses on her arm ! She's the only one in the band with any tattoos. She doesn't have ANY piercings unlike the others! She's too scared. Tugger thinks its hypcritical and is always trying to convince her haha

Skimble has a soft spot for her. She loves talking to him and Gus. Bomba loves their stories and tales of their past and can listen for hours.

She was the one who suggested her, Jerrie, Tugger and Alonzo form a band :] She even named the band, "Heaviside" <3

Just AO3 - sometimes snippets on tumblr and discord

What medium/application/etc. do you write in or with?

Google docs because it’s easy to use and I can switch in between my phone and laptop fairly easily and it autosaves every time you touch the keys which is the best part in my humble opinion

I've also taken to using private discord servers as a wiki for my AUs and let me tell you, a+++ would recommend

Do you collaborate with others?

Sometimes! Mostly with @cokehead-zeroed these days (eventually we'll finish the frat au i swear 🙈🙈🙈)

How much editing do you do before you publish?

Yes, all the time. Sometimes otp specific playlists, sometimes ones for different AUs or a general writing one. It just depends

How do you decide what to write about?

It's hard to say - sometimes there's a clear path, like I'm watching Pretty Woman and decide I want to write a Cam/Cole Pretty Woman AU. But sometimes I'll just be talking with friends and be like 'you know what I want to read? Ot3 where Jack and Quinn are vampires and Charlie's a werewolf - oh, and what if vampires were born alive in this verse????' And then I start writing it

When do you write?

Usually at night, especially in the summer - once it cools down enough to think

How often do you write?

I try to write a little bit everyday but that doesn't always work - life, the weather, everything, stuff gets in the way. So I try to do something writing related everyday: editing, writing, worldbuilding, what have you. That works better for me.

Do you take requests? Why/why not?

Sometimes! Usually if a friend asks or for their birthday

Is there any genre or type of story you want to write but are hesitant to?

Not really, tbh - I wrote in the genres I want to for the most part

Well, if I get stuck in a story, the first thing I do is go and talk it out with another writer, that usually helps me more than any quotes or videos, tbh. If I still can’t work through the part I’m stuck at after that, I’ll switch to a different WIP and work on that one for a little bit.
