(Kind of a weird question and not sure if there’s another blog to send this but…) Have you ever read a few of the fanfics or considered posting your own work on a website like ff.net or ao3? There’s a few other comics on them (the art in yours and your doodles are so pretty btw your style is really unique) tho it’s understandable if you want to keep it on your own website. So many good fanfics if you know where to look, and there’s one called the Alola Pokédex that I absolutely adore. Love your work!

This is a fine place to ask that question.

I actually avoid a lot of other comics and content based on Pokemon stuff, so I can focus on my own story. I’ve found in the past if you go off and read a bunch of things others have made, while enjoyable at times it can lead me personally to choice paralysis. Nothing is new and unique, and so when I know I’m writing or creating something that is similar in any way I just won’t make anything at all. My brain just can’t do it, as if I’ve convinced myself there’s no point. SO for my own joy I simply don’t involve myself in others stuff too much (which is fine for me I’m not very present online, and don’t like to be on the internet too much) to allow my brain a chance to create without getting in its own way. Not a single thing I’ve made is unique or special, and I’m fine with that, but if I fill my head with others work I just stop creating which is really bad for my mental health haha. I am also quite dyslexic so reading isn’t something I do well with.

As for posting elsewhere, issues of legalities crop up, and I tend to get nervous throwing all my stuff up in a load of places, more because I don’t remember to use the internet for more than like… a collective of 2-3 things for work, so I’d no doubt forget passwords or just forget to use a site all together.

I’m not much of a writer, so I doubt it’d be worth putting anything up elsewhere, figure that’s more for the literature lovers than anything else. And comic wise I pay for a domain so it’s all add free and personalised so I’m happy to use that and not put it elsewhere.

I like things the way they are ^^ though I suppose I have enough notes on my phone of written content that could be put somewhere, could do without that haha!

A few weeks ago I wrote a post: Fastest + Safest Way to Start a Business

Spoiler: IT IS SETTING UP A HIGH YIELD SAVINGS ACCOUNT and then not withdrawing cash for as long as possible. And when you do withdraw cash, as little as possible.

Let's talk about another aspect to quickly, safely, though admittedly slightly less so, increasing your cash flow.

A savings account runs on auto-pilot.

This is an INCREDIBLY valuable point to hold in your brain. A start is good. Do what you can when you can.

This is is a SLIGHTLY LESS SAFE method of doing business than having a savings account because it involves having using credit card.

I wish to be respectful to folks who for any number of reasons in, or not within, their direct control to which this could cause problems.

I use the following method in my personal and professional life.

Let's say you have 3 streaming service (movies, music, data backup) subscriptions at $10/month. So, every month, you are paying $10 x 3 = $30

I have a credit card with rewards set up to to handle my recurring subscriptions -- this is it's exclusive use.

The physical card sits in a box on my shelf, I only keep the physical card in case I need to log in to the card website and I can't remember my password.

The card has a $0.00 balance at the beginning of the cycle.

The total balance is paid off via an automatic transfer at the end of the cycle.

It costs me $0.00 in annual fees.

It generates 1.5% on each transaction. Sometimes you can find promotions where it's 2%, so keep an eye out if you set this up.

Every month, I generate $30.00 in charges ($10 streaming x 3 streaming services)

Every month, I auto-pay $30.00 to pay it off

Every month, I generate ($30 x 0.015) $0.45 in rewards cash.

That is $5.40/year ($0.45 x 12)...

...so 1 service gets 1/2 month, free, every year, based on this auto-pilot system.

"That doesn't seem like much?!"

(This is an exaggeratedly small example, I run a business, we'll get to that towards the end, right now we are using easy numbers)

Cards that generate points do not ever have auto-sweep features, so you'll have to go in once in awhile to say "Hey. I want my money." Just keep that in mind.

If you forget and only do it a few times a year, this is not ideal, but it is also not terrifically damaging. The point-generating is where most of the money comes from.

I transfer this extra cash into my high-yield savings account, which has a 4% annual interest return.

QUICK MATH WHY THIS IS GOOD

$10/month x 3 = $30/month charges for streaming services.

$30/month x 1.5% points return = $0.45/month

$0.45/month deposited into a high yield savings account at 4% daily compounding interest

Ending annual balance with minimal effort: $5.99

The extent of your labor was once a month or so going into the credit card account and saying "I want my rewards in cash" and you accrue just shy of $6.

I know that doesn't sound like a lot.

Let's fast forward using this same $0.45/month --

-- and look at it in 5 years.

$30.49

Is this going to save your life? No.

Is this going to change your life alone? No.

How long do you think you'll have 3 streaming services at $10/month? Probably not a limited-time transaction... so... maybe... they should work for you...? Yes.

I use extreme examples a lot in my work because I find they help drive the point home.

Let's say you start now and run this for 25 years.

Let's say you start this at the age of 35.

And continue until you're 60.

You invest $0.45/month earned via rewards ergo no physical or mental or time-based labor into a savings account at 4% interest

You return $233.57

Again this isn't life-changing money

But you can extrapolate this into however much money you spend on a monthly basis anyway

This is another way your money becomes an employee.

As a side note: I'm a huge advocate for naming your budget something fun because i enjoy business. You don't have to.

That's just how I do it.

My personal budget is called Slime Research Adventure Fund

IF YOU HAVE CREDIT CARD DEBT: I recommend this same system, but instead of taking the cash, use the points against your credit card balance.

This will be a higher interest rate than a savings account.

The idea is the same -- making your recurring expenses to generate money -- but you're applying it more efficiently for your personal situation.

I used a low numbers in hopes of being relatable.

Let's use a bigger example (see above note re: using extreme examples to ensure something is worth it)

I run a small business and our postage fees are about $2,500 every month. We have so many other expenses (cry) but let's just focus on postage because that's the easiest number to immediately grab.

$2500 x cashback rewards bonus 1.5% = $37.50 in rewards/month

We make $500/year by monetizing our postage expense and once a month taking 2 minutes to say "HEY. GIVE US OUR POINTS. IN CASH DEPOSITED INTO OUR HIGH YIELD SAVINGS. THANK YOU."

At the end of the year, we take that $500 and re-invest it into the business.

This one cool trick that financial course hucksters advertising on youtube and tiktok, who are trying to sell you their vapor bullshit, hate because THIS WORKS and requires a total of maybe 5 minutes a year.

Imo there has been a very visible shift in the F1 community recently in regards to Kelly. I also think I know the reason. Kelly as of recently has been getting more support than before. I see it literally everywhere. On Instagram I see more and more people(gossip account admins and anons and comments)bring her up in a positive light. Were as the last few months 9 times out of 10 Kelly was brought up in a very negative light and if she was brought up positively it was quickly shut down(by admin or other anons). Are people finally forgiving Kelly or are they just forgetting? Personally to me it seems like forgetting so as a reminder Kelly Piquet is a Racist. Her father called Lewis the n word and has used the n word multiple times. Now I’m a strong believer in child are not responsible for their parents actions IF these actions are condoned but Kelly didn’t do that. She actually defended her father. Kelly also supports a fascist and spread fake news on her Instagram. This is a man who is responsible for 1,000s of deaths and said he was sexually attracted to a 14 year old girl. Kelly as a mother to a daughter you still chose to support this man. Are you really that money hungry? The place I’m starting to see Kelly more positively is here. There’s been a lot more “defending”(defending is too strong of a word but I don’t know what else to use). People used to pick apart every little detail of anything Kelly did and everyone here played along.(It was very fun let’s be honest) I mean every👏🏻thing👏🏻she👏🏻did👏🏻! But now people are more cynical the nonnies that do that. Like the other night. Even Steppy got on that one nonnie and said just let her have fun. 4 months that would never happen. Steppy is also much more dismissive now. The immediate dismissal of the bracelet.(And non of this I think is bad! I want to make it very clear I love this blog and Steppy and am not trying to be rude) What I think the reason for the blog becoming more lenient is the crazy delulu indian fan thb. I think it just left all of us with a really bad taste in our months. It’s like that whole thing just invalidated everything. Where any of the insider real? Where they ever really close to breaking up? Was it all fake? Was at least how I kinda felt when that happened. It made me feel like I’ve been delusional this entire time too. I know some of are insiders are confirmed but still it was a slap in the face for sure. But again let me do some reminding! Max and Kelly were for sure in a very weird place and probably still are and we have LEGITIMATE insiders! I’m literally only writing this and pointing this out because I don’t miss how the blog was(I hate Kelly but some of y’all were👀) but I do miss being able to theorize and talk things with it immediately being shut down. I also as you can probably tell don’t want it to be forgotten that the reason we have a problem with Kelly is not because she’s dating Max Verstappen but because she has said and done awful things! I’ll speak for myself, but if someone wants to add something to it, go ahead. Tbh, my take on things has more to do with my own “online safety” than with anything else, but also a bit of common sense.

I know it’s her and her minions behind the threats and all that, but this is getting out of hand and I don’t know how far they’ll go with it. This week only I’ve had to change my maxverstepponme Instagram password four times because someone keeps trying to get into the account. For what? I have no idea, but whatever it is they’re trying to find, they won’t. Jokes on them because I wipe out every conversation the moment I’m done talking with someone for this exact same reason. Plus, my account is only memes, so what’s the problem with it? Kelly has me blocked there and I’ve blocked half of her minions, so what exactly is so awful about my account that has them so obsessed with it?

Not only that, but I’ve been receiving threats again, and others have been receiving them as well. I don’t even bother taking screenshots anymore, I just block and wait for the same to happen again. I thought that maybe being less “judgmental” on her could help everything calm down a bit, but it’s obvious it didn’t. Also, I think that over analyzing and pointing everything her way just because we don’t like her makes us seem bitter, and everything we say loses credibility because of it. After all, we don’t need to nit pick everything she does, because Kelly herself gives us something to talk about every single day. Wether it is her taking advantage of Max, proving she’s a groomer, leaving her kid behind, you name it, but she’s always doing something, so there’s no need to make stuff up when we have it all there.

About the insiders, there are insiders that are legit, so don’t worry about that. I’ve also read things that have come from direct sources, so many things are correct and others not so far from the truth. Again, only time will tell.

I’m sorry if this was long, and I apologize for not opening up about this sooner, I didn’t feel it was necessary but oh well 💀

rp experience / how long. I’ve been roleplaying on Tumblr for about two years now but in general, I’ve been roleplaying for about 9+ years or so. I was nine or ten years old when I got into roleplaying. Yes, I was a child when I got exposed to the internet long before I hit the age of nine to ten years old.

best experience. Personally, I enjoyed roleplaying on Tumblr before Tumblr changed everything. I used to have a lot of fun and I get to write whatever I write but nowadays, people are becoming rather opinionated and biased on what others write and they assume it’s bad and then they call you out instead of coming to talk to you one on one and tell you what you’re writing is bad or good. I write dark content and angst from time to time but if that bothers people, you shouldn’t be on my blog at all. Hardblock me or do something but do not call me out when you haven’t talked to me about what I write. This should probably be under my RP pet peeves / deal breakers but at the moment, I’m keeping this separate away from RP pet peeves / deal breakers.

However, I will understand if you read my page about the character I write but accidentally forget that they go by their preferred pronouns.
