Loid is so funny to me. Because when we first get into spy x family and see this ulter cool super awesome top spy, we would think that that's going to be his character. Like his personality would be all mysterious and spy like but then we start reading and come to understand that he is infact a normal man who adores his family, an anxiety dad trying his best if you will, even though he won't out rightly admit it because he's still scared of being attached to anyone or anything he loves in fear of losing it because of his childhood.

But I adore those moments when he's like, "Yes, I'm going to adopt this child and raise her in the most supportive and healthy way possible....FOR THE MISSION."

Dude as a person whose fav egg was and still is Juanaflippa this is such a convoluted and heart wrenching situation I'm really not sure how to feel and I can't even think how Charlie feels. On one hand, just seeing Flippa here just moving and walking just takes you back to the good ol' days where everything was perfect and she was here backflipping and thriving. On the other hand, seeing this situation from Phil's side really made me realize how fucked up of a situation this is.

Blinded by the initial wave of grief and nostalgia we just ignored everything that was wrong about this. And now just seeing this fake copy being just a mere shell of what the real Flippa was makes me feel disdain for this copy trying to stand in the same shoes where our lil Juana stood. No matter the intentions or the interactions, she was never Juana and she could never be and no matter her attempts it still just hurts so goddamn much.

Unpopular opinion

Khan is my favorite character and way too many people hate him.

Look, I understand that he did do bad things like locking Uzi out for dead and caring about doors more than his daughter. But honestly, he could’ve been worst.

He did appear on that poster about how Uzi was a disappointment, but what we saw in his actions makes me think that was just a gag or even one of the other drones twisting his opinions about Uzi. In “Heartbeat” they did show that some of the adult worker drones do hate Uzi, whose to say that the other drones labeled that way on purpose?

I think there’s more his character than we originally thought. On that same poster about him talking about his daughter. If you look on the top of the text it said that Khan is a GUEST SPEAKER. The other posters talks about how he the top drone of the year, he is the mascot of the WDF, and he created the doors that protects them all from the disassembly drones. Heck! Thad says that drones usually associate Uzi with him! All of this leads me to a possible theory about Khan place in the colony.

He’s the highest rank drone in the whole colony! He’s top dog or at least a famous celebrity! (That’s just theory tho but still)

What does high level of status usually mean in a colony? High amount of responsibility.

He’s probably drowning in work and everyone looks up to him for protecting them from the disassembly drones. A lot of pressure is put onto him, so it’s kinda reasonable that he would be obsessed with doors thanks to that pressure. What’s also interesting is that the drones DO expect him to constantly work on the doors rather than spending time with his daughter, so there’s a possibility that he’s being somewhat guilted tripped to work.

Then there’s the whole case about shutting his daughter out. He’s mostly experienced with door and the only time he was known to fight is by a vague hint when he said that he put his wife out of her misery and when he threatened to install a door on the teacher’s face. No other drone except for Uzi has even survived an encounter with a disassembly drone, so of course he didn’t know what to do. He only knew that closing that door would save the rest of the colony but his daughter would pay the price.

Then when he saw Uzi after the fight, he doesn’t really respond at all. He definitely felt guilty for what he has done and lets his daughter call him out because he does believe he deserves it. Of course, this event was used as a joke in “Heartbeat” when he said “I left her for dead once.” But even after that comment he defended his daughter when the teacher even suggested that she was damaged. He is actively trying to do better in few minutes/seconds of screen time he has. In the pilot episode, even though later on we learned that the drones are dumb; I still think it’s sweet that he trusted his daughter words when she said that she wanted to check on door one even after he knew she does lie to his face”

I wanna make this clear. I DO understand that all of this doesn’t wipe out all the bad stuff he did. He’s a flawed character with little backstory and some of his decisions are questionable but I don’t think he deserves the level of hate people have for him.

TL:DR- Khan Doorman isn’t as bad as people make him out to be, and is actually a fairly decent guy having severe issues that he’s trying to work through.

is there any invader zim ships you like? it is a bit hard to find enjoyable ships in the fandom, since most of the popular ones are pretty gross. Tatr (tak and tenn) is a pretty interesting, underrated crackship that ive seen before, some pretty nice artpieces are out there!

I have a 6 month old named Konrad.

Gonna be real I kinda forgot Warhammer 40k existed in the later half of my pregnancy as I'm more into Warhammer Fantasy. And also the name Konrad is a good strong name for a firstborn son.

But dear god I wanna post pictures of him and his cute little FACE.

I love my tiny Night Lord even when he pulls my hair really fuckin hard and pulls strands of my hair out. I still love the tiny Night Lord even if he screams and is currently going through a phase where he no longer wishes to sleep in his crib but only with/on mom or dad. And I certainly love the little velociraptor noises he makes when he is happy.

I think the reason why I want to post pictures of him is because of all of that dopamine I get when looking at him (which is kinda the point in making sure I continue to take care of him) but... I won't

Cuz this is not a mommy blog (nor will I even be a damn beige mom. We have a theme of dinosaurs and elephants goin on) and I get a lot of people who follow me are in their early 20s who do not wanna think about kids yet. Before I say anything I just want to clarify I do not read the comics, I more a fan of DC animated works but I have noticed things. I'll probably very a series of posts on my various (probably dumb) opinions I'd like to take a moment (or more) looking at Jason Todd.

Oh, and a warning I guess. Ya know, Jason's backstory and all.

He's a pretty weird character and I don't mean that in a bad way. It's moreso his characterization and he history with recons (a topic I'll likely rant about in another post). For those who don't know Jason has two origins. One that basically makes him Dick Grayson 2.0 but a redhead with the Flying Todds and the one where he steals the bat-tires where they make him look more like Dick. Hrm.... While I haven't read anything from his run as Robin I can understand why readers at the time didn't like him. The first Robin was a hard act to follow.

That brings me to his time as Red Hood. He's really strange has Hood when it comes to writing. Jason goes from comically evil to morally grey anti-hero depending on the writer. I know pit madness is the excuse but that was a recon made outside of canon. (And at this point I don't know if it the writers or fan making it up.) Now the writers have him mostly chill with the Batfam. (Unless it's Gotham Wars and Bruce, I have so much to say about Bruce, the Batfam as well.)

Another thing I find funny about Jason Todd is his antis. I saw some talking about how he was conservative and pro gun propaganda which is... Something. My own personal beliefs aside Red Hood is absolutely not that. When he's using guns and killing criminals the story paints him as the bad guy. Although his stans aren't much better because they tend to downplay all the bad stuff he's done. Man has a kill count over 100 and has shot children (Damian). Not saying redemption isn't possible but still.

I hope this hasn't giving anyone the idea that I dislike Jason. I actually do like him. I think he works better as an anti-hero than outright villain but that's my opinion, it's not worth much.

I've just watched Shore Leave.

I don't know why it took me so long to watch Star Trek, it's been an ~experience~.

There's a lot to talk about shore leave, really a lot. It was a fun episode with a handful of iconic moments. And one of the things that caught my attention was Finnegan's appearance, the way it happened.

At the same time Jim's ex colleague was annoying, teasing, calling him names and whatnot, it was clear that Jim was having a blast chasing him and going on with his games.

He seemed to enjoy the banter and the physicality. He enjoy finally being able to get to act on the desire to get back at him, to reach to his level.

Finnegan said he was who Jim expected him to be, so we know that his behaviour would likely be what what bothered Jim the most, enough to make him still have strong feelings about it fifteen years later.

He still thought about Finnegan and he had fun rolling on the dirt with him. The rituals truly are intricate.

I don't know, I just think the episode is neat. Kirk is very bi in it and I think that Spock politely taking the woman off of him and refusing to stay in the planet any longer was quite gay of his part.

Also, I've read someone say that Kirk's shirt ripping itself could be explained by him thinking it would be very sexy of him to be tits out during the fight and the simulation making it happening (which I agree, kiss on your big brain) and it got me thinking... Spock watched their fight for who knows how long, if Finnegan acted accordingly Jim's expectations and memories of him, so, naturally, Jim would always lose for him, because he was used to Finnegan always coming up with something unexpected. But Spock was watching, maybe he thought "the Captain would never lose to this guy", a guy who was still wearing the Academy uniform and obviously didn't have the skills or the experience a senior like Kirk would have. He thought and the simulation made it happen (maybe even the tits out situation), from Spock's imagination.

When talking about future sex scenes, there's a lot of "Nicola should do whatever she's comfortable with" and "Nicola seems nervous, I don't think we'll be getting that many sex scenes," conversations going on. I 100% agree that she should do what she's comfortable with, but I don't believe everyone is saying those things in good faith.

Like why are we talking about Nicola exclusively here? Why is it that barely anyone talks about Luke's level of comfort? Or any of the other cast members for that matter? Especially when Nicola has said that while, yes, she is nervous, she has also said she feels comfortable with the intimacy coordinator, she trusts Luke, and she's ready for the challenge. So why are we singling her out?

Again, I'm not saying it's everyone, and I also believe Nicola should ultimately do what she feels okay with, but I think a lot of people need to ask themselves if it's really about Nicola being comfortable, or is it about them being uncomfortable?
