Do you have any thoughts on older/jack the ripper dlc jacob? Personally i think older jacob is hotter than young Jacob- both are hot, but older jacob does something to me fr 😮‍💨 I honestly think Jacob would send his darling off to Evie during the whole thing or away with their children (if they had any) but still. I just like the thought of Jacob being a little more chill with his darling but also still being completely delusional over how the start of their relationship was love at first sight and totally perfect while their darling is just like 🤨 Jacob tells his kids that you and him just instantly connected whereas you’re biting your tongue from pointing out that you almost threw at a beer mug at his head 😂 I’m so curious on your thoughts- i just love this man lol
ANON, YOUR MIND IS SO POWERFUL. I LOVE JACOB BUT WHY DIDN'T YANDERE! OLDER JACOB COME TO MIND!? THANK YOU AND YES, I DO HAVE SOME THOUGHTS.
Tumblr media
- I can imagine that first and foremost, he would definetly send you and any children you two have (should you want any) over to Evie or somewhere far away where Jack can't hurt you when he gets threatened by him.
- Also, since Jacob adopted Jack, imagine Jack being sort of like a platonic yandere but the kind of yandere who thought it would be more merciful to "free you" from Jacob by killing you, so Jacob being conflicted but also feeling guilty for not recognizing Jack and the darkness in him sooner (or even making it worse by filling his head with his ideologies).
- But yeah, no, at that point you have Stockholm Syndrome so you're honestly relieved when you return home and quickly become concerned when you see Jacob and when Evie leaves to go back to India, you caring and tending to Jacob and helping him adjust.
- And even without his other eye, the intensity of his obsessive passion for you is not dimmed by any means. It burns as bright as they cursed day he laid eyes on you for the first time. He's so happy to have you back in his arms safe and sound.
- Also, yes, older Jacob becomes a bit "fuzzy on the details" of how you two meet. He often jokes about how you "played hard to get" and by that, he meant "you literally tried to flee the country but his rooks cut you off and then brought you to him where he trapped you and kept you locked away from the rest of the world" and how you've given up on correcting him because he's so convinced that's what happened.
Older! Jacob: "I was determined to make sure they weren't the one who got away!"
Older! You: "Yes. Yes he was. Very determined. Scarily determined, some might say."
- Both couples old and young envy the both of you and women of all ages tell you how lucky you are to have married a man who was so handsome and so obsessed with you. If you were younger, you would've looked at them in disgust but instead, you nod your head and say: "Yes, there is no one quite like my Jacob" and when Jacob hears, he feels his heart skip a beat and he's suddenly back to being the love sick puppy he was when he first "courted" you.
- But yes he would be rather chiller the older he becomes and this is mostly because you've finally accepted that you're never getting away from him. If you make any bitter or passive aggressive comment, instead of pouting or being upset, he will chuckle or roll his eyes before kissing you because for all that sass; you both know that he won in the end.
- He also trusts you enough to go on morning strolls with him, his arm linked around yours as you both walk down the city just for the view or go to the market together and he isn't worried to let you out of his sight for a bit (Younger Jacob would've been stressing and wouldn't calm down until you were back in his line of sight) and he enjoys how the two of you have conversations instead of screaming matches, conversations where he is reminded of why he loves you so much and how he simply will never let you go.
- The mornings are nice the older you two get, your chairs next to each other as you read the paper and you feel Jacob's eyes on you, admiring you, studying you, enjoying the fact that you were finally his and his alone. Then he'd grab your hand and tenderly rub his thumb on top of your knuckles before he sits up to kiss your cheek. When you were younger, he would've had to grab you by chin to keep you from moving away but instead you stay still and turn to give him a peck on the cheek which makes him hum in delight.

Who drinks respect women juice in tokyo revengers? And whose hands are rated E for everyone?
Ok I've given this a bit of thought and this is what i came up with (I'm not 100% on all of these though)
Tumblr media
Takemichi- 100% wpuld never dare to hit a girl, he was outraged when Yuzuha got hit and when Emma got hurt.
Mikey- ok this one is a hard one since he said he never would and technically we never do see him lay hands on a girl. But he does threaten Senju at one point and it's implied he either hit her or hit someone who knocked into her during the final fight. Is there a middle section he can be put in?
Draken- would definitely never throw hands with a girl, sees it as being a pointless thing to do (he's also seen first hand how argumentative the girls he lives with can get and wants no part in that).
Baji- Seen people argue both ways on this one but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't throw hands with a girl. His mother would kill him. (Aside from sparring at the dojo).
Chifuyu- He'd prefer to just get beat up by a girl rather then throw hands.
Mitsuya- never ever ever, not in a million years.
Hakkai- would panic and run away if this situation ever came up.
Pah- would not hit a girl, might be a bit rude to one maybe even threaten one if she didn't back off but wouldn't actually fight a girl.
Peh- no way, he looked so upset the one time he accidentally made yasuda cry so would never want to do anything to make a girl cry on purpose.
Smiley- honestly a little torn on this one, his love of fighting and murder is very big but not sure he'd actually fight a girl. I think maybe he would but only if the girl started it and she seemed strong enough to challenge him.
Angry- he doesn't even wanna fight the guys!
Mucho- would fight a girl but only if izana or mikey told him to or she knew something about traitors.
Sanzu- would also fight a girl, literally doesn't care.
Kisaki- he's not much of a fighter but we've seen that he's 100% willing to fatally wound girls so he definitely would.
Hanma- would fight a girl but wouldn't take it seriously, feel like he'd treat it more like a game. Teasing and letting the girl get some punches in, giving her hope before he takes her down, watching the hope fade and seeing how she reacts. Doesn't go picking fights with girls though, just waits for them to challenge him.
Kazutora- would not fight a girl, he seemed outraged to find toman had been targeting girls in that one future.
Koko- would not fight a girl, he definitely seems to think girls need protecting (his comments to hakkai) so I don't think he'd want to hurt a girl.
Inui- he said it himself, he would fight a girl.
Taiju- again we have pretty clear evidence that he definitely would hit a girl.
Izana- would fight a girl if they were strong enough, otherwise wouldn't be interested.
Kakucho- would not fight a girl, he seems to be against girls being hurt in general.
Mochi- would also not fight a girl, he seems to have some kind of moral code when fighting so probably wouldn't fight a girl? Might though if they were very strong.
Shion- wouldn't fight a girl cause he sees it as being beneath him. "This fight wouldn't be fair for you against me!"
Ran- would not fight a girl, mainly because he thinks it would damage the Haitani brother's reputation to be seen fighting girls.
Rindou- Same as Ran but for the added reason that it would be a bit awkward for him to pin a girl down.
South- again canon evidence that he would throw hands with a girl. I feel like he doesn't care about gender just how strong a person is.
Benkei- would not hit a girl, I feel like he'd feel so guilty about it with how big he is so would never. (Aside from friendly spars with Senju where he doesn't go all out anyway)
Wakasa- also wouldn't fight a girl, sees no reason to, would likely just evade a girl if one ever tried to fight him (aside from spars with Senju).
Takeomi- definitely has a lot of thoughts about what women should be so based on those I think he'd find is dishonourable to hit a girl.
Shinichiro- ohhh definitely wouldn't, he'd probably try hitting on her or trying to talk her around instead. Doesn't see any reason to hurt a girl and is most likely the one to teach Mikey that.

Women's rights are more important than democracy.
If I am locked in a room with 99 guys. And we take a vote on whether it would be ok to rape me. It wouldn't matter if there was a 99% majority consensus. All that would mean is that I would need to kill 99 men so that the consensus matches what's in my best interest.
Thankfully, it hasn't come to that: abortion rights are what the majority of Americans want, and supporting a democracy furthers the pro-choice agenda. But just keep this thought experiment in mind, because it's not just about abortion.
Democracy is not some sacred cow, not something you can simply stamp as "the best system of governance" and end the lesson there. Democracy is - at the end of the day - a dilution mechanism. A system of checks and balances is a somewhat effective means to slow a tyrant's ability to do whatever tyrannical things they wished to do. But there is a flipside to that; maybe if an intelligent and idealistic older woman was plucked from the very bottom of the card deck and given absolute power to rule as she saw fit, she would quickly resolve a lot of the crises currently threatening our world. Because she would have empathy and first-hand experience that a lot of the incumbent powers don't. After all, it is not actually absolute power which corrupts, but the pursuit of power. Power corrupts, because no matter the good intentions a politician may have when entering a democratic system, the plutocrats who have already staked their claim are extremely savvy about playing the shell-game with her causes; they know they can force the idealist to compromise her values on one progressive issue, in order to get their permission to advance another aspect of the progressive agenda. So by the time the politician reaches any noteworthy rank in office, she has been so turned around that she has forgotten her original purpose.
What's more, no matter how liberal a democracy, there's one thing you must remember: dead men cast no votes! A system which hears everyone's voice is still only able to respond to those still alive enough to voice their concerns. The plutocrats understand this and have integrated it into the shell game. So our democracy has never been an alternative to violence, because the system we have still rewards direct and indirect violence as a tactic to silence dissent and force a specific desired outcome. On some level, we all know this: it's common sense, and yet still we preach that democracy is some sort of alternative to anarchy and violence. It's not! The parameters of what sorts of questions are up for debate, and who gets to debate them, are still drawn in blood.
And so, my platform is simple: abortion is not up for vote. Abortion is not up for debate. Pro-choice is the only acceptable position for the world to hold, and anything that threatens that conclusion must be crushed with an iron fist. Free speech be damned, misogyny must be intimidated into submission, until our sons never even think to question whether a life-saving medical procedure should be banned. If promoting majority-rule is the fastest way to ensure this future, I will promote democracy. If installing a feminist authoritarian from a minority group in a life-long position of unilateral power starts to look like a faster or more certain way of creating that future, I will do that instead.
Women have the right to defend themselves against exploitation; nothing we do, no matter how violent or short-sighted, will leave us as the villains of history when we have been backed into a corner like this.

So I've made this post before but rather than comb through my blog and reblog it I'm going to make it again, just with more evidence this time:
This section with Babette makes me insane because up until this Louis has made it clear that he is attracted to Lestat but doesn't like him
But when Daniel asks Louis is he is in love with Babette he goes on this weird tangent:), saying that if he had anything to hide, he wouldn't say it:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When they are talking about detatchment Louis earlier said that he couldn't be upset over his brother's or any human's death anymore because it seemed so insignificant, just a part of the circle of life. So Daniel assumes that means that Louis can't be in love with Babette bc Louis has this dettachment from humans. HOWEVER Louis is also very detatched and cold with Lestat, they aren't close, after Lestat kills Feniere Louis says they barely talked (approx 1 year at least)
Louis admits that while he did not love Babette "Babette was to me in her own way an ideal human being..." Louis feels that this someone he should have fallen in love with but did not. You can read this because she is a woman and Louis is only attracted to men, or simply that she is kinder than Lestat is. I see it as both.
He also explicitly says he doesn't feel passion for her that was not bloodlust. Notice in the below section he says he felt drawn to her in a way he had no other woman as a human, and that their relationship could only end in death. His only desire for her is bloodlust, not lust lust like Louis describes when he is mortal and is approached by Lestat
Tumblr media
Louis also says his greatest love was foreshadowed in Babette. And while that could mean Claudia, with the only thing in common being "intelligent women" I don't think that's who he is talking about here.
Then the book moves forward with the plot of Louis convincing Babette to let them sleep in the basement (and it says that Lestat was outside freaking out that they would die which is inconsistent with AR's later addition that they could sleep in the earth but whatever). And when they find they are locked in the basement and Lestat is scratching at the walls like a cat, Louis then brings up detatchment in relation to Lestat
Tumblr media
Near death and in relation to Babette Louis is wishing his relationship with Lestat had been better. How because Babette is human/a woman Louis can't have the relationship he seeks (companionship/romantic love) but he could have with Lestat bc he is a man/vampire.
Then when Lestat says he wants to leave, he's done with Louis (which at this point Louis has threatened to get rid of Lestat multiple times) Louis can't bare for him to leave
Tumblr media
And then finally we and of this note, while waiting for Babette to appear and unlock the door Louis thinks this:
Tumblr media
What did you feel for Babette/Lestat, Louis?
Well this next section says a desire for communication, which remember Louis said eariler in the section about wishing they had been better friends, was something he also doesn't have with Lestat but wants
Tumblr media
So in summary, Louis is using Babette here as a way to talk about his romantic feelings for Lestat throughout this scene

Marvel women as Yandere ?
Some different Yandere type I think the marvel women would be. This is my opinion btw.
I'll probably do more character!
Tumblr media
Yelena Belova
Overprotective/possessive yandere
I think Yelena would be a mix of both. She doesn't want you getting killed or hurt so she wants you to follow her orders to stay safe.
She'll make sure you always stay with her, so you won't disappear like Natasha. If you were a black widow, you'll still accompany her on missions, she wants to watch over you, but you should fight only if you're threatened.
If you're not, she'll make another black widow watch over you while on a mission, and if the widow fails to protect you she won't hesitate to replace her (dead)
Tumblr media
Kate Bishop
Obsessive yandere
She just thinks you're the coolest and most amazing person in the whole universe. If you're a superhero, avengers etc., she has posters of you all over her rooms. Even merch. And she'll do anything to meet you on a mission.
If you're someone close to her (friend, classmate), she has pictures of you, she took herself, in her phone gallery, on her walls, as a computer wallpaper, EVERYWHERE.
Tumblr media
Xu Xialing
Possessive yandere
She wants you to be hers and hers only, you don't need other people, family or friend, in fact, you don't even need a job or your own money, she can take care of that! Xialing wants you to follow whatever she says, assuring you that it's for your own good.
You'll honestly live like a royalty, as the ten ring's leader, she can provide you with anything you might desire, she still likes to spoil you.
Tumblr media
Wanda Maximoff
Overprotective yandere
With the amount of people she lost, she'll make sure you'll NEVER get hurt. If she sees even a slight scratch on your skin, a drop of blood, Wanda will explode with rage.
If someone hurt you, they'll simply die from Wanda's hands (or magic?), Also you'll find no dangerous or sharps tools or items in the house, just for precautions...
Tumblr media
Shuri Udaku
Delusional yandere
You're already deeply in love with her, she's sure of it. She has everything to herself, she's a genius, a princess, she has cool gadgets and a lot of money. Her family loves you and she spoils you anytime she can of course you'll feel at home and become crazy about her.
But maybe you're too intimidated because of all this to admit your true feelings ? Yeah that must be it.
Tumblr media
Maya Lopez
Impulsive yandere
Maya would probably think about the consequence of her actions after doing the action and realise she might have overreacted. She wouldn't hesitate to go after anyone who stands in her way to be with you, friends, colleagues, crushes, family.
Kidnapping, killing, torturing her enemies, the people YOU love. And then she'll act surprised when finding you sad over your loved one death or disappearance. (Surprised Pikachu face)
Tumblr media
Agatha Harkness
Manipulative yandere
Of course she'll manipulate you into loving her, she's the mastermind after all, maybe she'll even find a spell to make you fall in love with her. It must exist right ?
I'm afraid you can't do much against a magical spell, but Agatha would take a good care of you, convinced that you love her truly. That you need her to be safe.
And if you are witch yourself, she could just manipulate you into thinking you need her to be stronger, more powerful, That you're weak and need her to protect you.

Tumblr media
Despite only a few days passing by since they returned to headquarters, Steve saw Seren very little. It did nothing to help his concern for her state. Logically, he shouldn't be that worried. After all, the SSR had agreed to help Seren build a new suit for herself and a method of communication to reach her family. Peggy had even offered Seren to stay with her while they tended to matters in the city. And Steve and the others lived right in the same building for the time being. The fact remained that Seren was not alone, therefore nobody could hurt her. And it seemed like nobody wanted to hurt her anyways.
Nearly everyone had taken a liking to her. Howard was utterly fascinated with her knowledge of space and the stars. He was probably the one who spent the most time with Seren, as much as it pained Steve to think about it. The other soldiers who'd been kept by HYDRA with her seemed to have taken her in as their honorary comrade. They all knew that HYDRA valued her the most because of her "special" attributes and given that Bucky had shared what he knew, it didn't take them long to figure out that Seren was not from their world.
All in all, Seren was very much liked and cared for. Steve should be content…but it killed him. It was stupid, and so incredibly selfish of him, but try as he might he couldn't get rid of those feelings. Everyone got to spend time with Seren, everyone wanted to be around her, and she — bless her heart — was fascinated with the human world. She was eager to know what things were and what they did. Logically, she learned more educational things from Howard, what women typically did from Peggy, and then the idiot stuff directly from the other soldiers. Some of them had already tried getting smart with her but Steve, and Bucky too ironically, shut it down before Seren ever noticed.
Steve was furious with those particular men, shouting and threatening them to back off. Bucky laughed at him all night for that.
Tonight was a night they were all free, and once again Seren was very popular. It turned out, her alcohol tolerance was very strong. She could not get drunk and people just didn't buy it. So she proved them every single time. Once she got tired of the competition, she accepted the offers to dance. She liked the kind of music they usually played. She was a fast learner, especially when she had such talented teachers.
Steve watched his own best friend chat it up with Seren in the pub. He wondered if Bucky was doing it on purpose.
Bucky swayed them to the music and almost every minute or so, Seren would let out a giggle or two. Eventually, Steve couldn't take it and he turned to the bar to order another drink for himself…not that it would matter. As it turned out, he too couldn't get drunk. How ironic.
"Well, you look like you're having the time of your life…" Peggy couldn't, and definitely wouldn't, hide her laugh when she approached the bar. "What's the matter? I thought the men agreed to the plan?"
Steve took his freshly served drink from the bar. "They did." He had lined up the perfect team to take HYDRA's bases down and he should be happy. But he wasn't. He was far from that and he didn't understand why.
Peggy looked at him and then the dancers. "You know, I know I was against bringing her in. I thought she was a danger — an alien, for God's sake. How wrong of me to assume. Thanks for pushing on the idea to have her. She's done well for us. And herself."
Steve looked over his shoulder just enough to catch Seren. She was still laughing with Bucky. "Yup. Very well."
Peggy seemed to smile knowingly. "But you know something, she's still afraid. She doesn't say it, or show it, but she still gets very nervous around new people, around the medics. She's got nightmares."
Steve stopped drinking then and looked at Peggy, completely dumbfounded. "She does?"
Peggy nodded. "She's in the next room. I hear her screaming. I've come in multiple times but she never wants to talk about it. Can't say I blame her. What she went through must have been horrible. Prodded and relentlessly experimented on. It's terrifying. I'm glad she can find a moment to laugh."
Steve's shoulders slumped. God, he was just so awful. He was the worst human being. How could he be so upset that Seren was off dancing with someone when she deserved to have fun, to be happy.
Peggy kept looking at him while he went through his thoughts. Her smile grew. She walked off without saying another word. She'd said everything she needed to anyway.
Steve mulled over his thoughts for a few minutes until he heard the laugh again. This time it was a lot closer and when he looked back, Seren had stumbled on her heels nearly falling into the bar.
"Whoops!" She giggled and popped her head up. All her hair fell back over her shoulders. Unlike the rest of the women, Seren didn't seem like a big fan of the tight 40s curls. "Sorry," she planted a hand on the bar counter. "These heels — why are they so chunky? Is that to make a point?"
Steve truthfully had no idea how to answer that. No one ever asked him about fashion.
"What are you drinking?" Seren plopped down on the stool next to him. "I'm so thirsty. Your friend Bucky can sure dance!"
"Yeah, I've been told," Steve said, trying his best to keep his bitter tone out of the conversation. Unfortunately, Seren and her perfect hearing heard it well.
She tilted her head at him. "Are you alright?" Steve nodded silently and drank the rest of his drink. "I don't understand. Bucky said your new friends accepted the proposal to fight HYDRA. You should be celebrating! Go dance or something!"
"I don't dance," Steve said.
"Correction!" Bucky suddenly appeared on Steve's other side, clapping his shoulder hard. "He does dance, but he always has a hard time finding a dance partner!"
Steve glared at his best friend. Shut up was written all over his face. Bucky just laughed and ordered himself a drink.
"Well, have you asked anyone here?" Seren asked innocently. "There aren't that many women around here but someone would say yes, I know it."
"Oh, doll, there's someone who would say yes if he just asked," Bucky said, discreetly nudging Steve while Seren looked out to the pub.
"Who's a doll?" Seren said distractedly.
Bucky chuckled. "Never mind. Steve, something you want to say?"
"I got a lot of things I want to say right now, Buck," Steve muttered.
"Oh! Peggy's found a table! Is it alright if I go join her?" Seren eagerly looked at the men on her side. "She's trying to introduce me to her friends she's made in the SSR. I haven't been doing very well so far…"
Steve barely hid his smile at that. Seren was popular amongst the men, yes, but she was either feared or misunderstood by most of the women in the SSR. She didn't get it, or so it seemed.
"Go ahead," he told her with an encouraging glance.
Seren beamed and hopped off the stool. "Wish me luck!" She said before marching off.
Bucky 'tsk'd' as soon as Seren was gone. "Were you always this pathetic?"
"You're a punk, you know that?" Steve glanced at him.
"Why? Because I asked your girl to dance with me?" Bucky's smirk was incredibly wide.
"Be quiet! She can hear!"
Bucky laughed. "But she wouldn't understand. She's a sweet one, not really my type, but still real pretty. I had to ask her to dance, man. We spent way too much time together at HYDRA and it wasn't exactly a party over there. Wanted to cheer her up, that's all. Honest."
Steve knew he shouldn't expect any explanations from Bucky. After all, he had every right to ask Seren, or anyone else, to dance…but it did sort of bring him some relief knowing Bucky didn't want Seren in any other capacity. "Really?" He signed to the truth with that one-worded question.
Luckily, this time Bucky didn't tease him. He just nodded. "Yeah." He drank from his glass. "She's a good woman. Back in the lab, she was the one bleeding and she kept telling me not to give up. She must have been on the verge of dying at least once a day from all the experiments but she always told me — and the others — that they would get out."
Steve stayed quiet for a minute. Seren had not told him much about her time with HYDRA, and he didn't ask either. Hearing her faith that something would save them managed to crack his heart a little. She had zero trust in humans but she still had faith that something would happen to save them all.
"She's a good one, don't be stupid and let some idiot woo her," Bucky said. "I like her but she's a bit naive when people flirt with her. Did it twice and she had no idea what was going on." Steve started glaring at him again. "Hey!" Bucky raised a hand in front of him. "She's pretty!"
Steve gave him a hard shove and went back to his drink.
~0~
Steve lost sight of Seren for an hour or two. He honestly assumed that she had gone home already but to his surprise, he found her in the corner of the pub and she didn't appear to be having fun anymore.
"Hey," he approached her slowly, and a bit bashful too. The last time he was near her when she was upset, she had fought him and nearly won.
Seeing him, however, pulled Seren away from the wall. "Steve, hi…" She seemed out of sorts, and her face was flushed.
"Are you alright?" Steve asked her. "I thought — the women you were with—" Seren let out a sharp scoff, stopping Steve in his tracks. He turned his head halfway, raising an eyebrow at her. "Did something happen?"
"It turns out that the women here are vile," Seren said, hugging herself. "They hate me."
"I take it the introductions didn't go so well…" Steve wondered how badly it must have gone for Seren to have separated even from Peggy.
Seren shook her head. There was not a trace of her laugh and giggles she had an hour ago. "I want to go," she said quietly.
"Seren, I'm sorry you had a bad moment, but you were having a fun time before…" Steve stepped closer to her, "Are you sure you want to leave?"
Seren raised her head at him and nodded. "Nobody wants me here. Peggy's friends made that clear."
"Fortunately, they don't speak for the rest of us," Steve smiled at her. "Listen, how about we stay for another 10 minutes and then I'll take you back to the apartment?"
"Steve, I can leave on my own. You don't have to cut your night short because of me."
"No offense Seren, but you still don't know the streets. I can't let you leave on your own and besides, I'm not exactly the party type. That's more of Bucky's thing."
Seren peeked around Steve and spotted Bucky across the pub. He was dancing with another woman. "Yeah, sure seems like it," she nodded. "You don't want to dance?"
"Well, I mean — are you — do you want to dance?" Steve had gone red in a matter of seconds. Seren, however, had smiled at the question.
"If you're willing…yeah…" She let her arms hang on her sides. "I mean, if you're willing to be seen with me. I'm telling you, the women are so rude here. They love you, so…I mean, pick wisely."
"Can I tell you something?"
"Sure."
"Most of them didn't bat an eye at me before."
Seren was, of course, confused with his particular word choice. She would ask if Steve hadn't offered her his hand. She accepted and slid her hand over his.
Together, they walked towards the dance floor. Seren mumbled something about being watched almost immediately after they settled with the music. It was slower, which called for their hands together and one of Steve's hands on her back.
"You want to tell me what happened?" He said to her. She truly did look like a whole other person right now. He felt even more guilty for being so selfish when she had actually been happy earlier.
Seren's eyes were to the side, gazing at the other happy customers. "I'm an alien, Steve. Not a lot of people like that. In fact, less than 10 do."
"They don't fully understand who you are," Steve said.
"They know exactly who I am. That's the problem. Serves me right — I did throw half of them at the camp."
"You were scared—"
"I was a monster."
"You were far from that. The only reason the other soldiers didn't lash out is because they were literally out of energy."
Seren wouldn't look at him. "I'll always be the alien here. Humans aren't ready for foreigners like me."
"There are many people who would think otherwise but hey, take a look at our war. We're fighting to get rid of those kinds of thoughts, because not everyone sees differences in people. I, for one, think you're great." Steve was happy when Seren turned her head to him. "I know Bucky thinks the same, and definitely the rest of our team. Don't we count?"
Seren half smiled at him. "I suppose. Although it feels like I haven't really seen you lately."
"I know, I'm sorry…"
"Don't be. I get it. You're working hard…taking charge…" Seren brought one of her over his shoulder and around her neck. They grew closer to each other. "I may not understand everything, but I know that putting you in charge of taking down the HYDRA bases was the only right choice. I'm proud."
Two simple words created such an emotion in Steve's chest that he had no idea what to even call it. She made him feel so good and he wanted to do the same for her.
"Seren, whatever those women said, whatever they did, it doesn't ring true. You're amazing, you know that?" He lowered the side of his face next to hers.
"You barely know me," Seren whispered. She could feel his breath tickling her cheek.
"You survived for a whole year under HYDRA, quite possibly taking the worst of the blow, and you're out here trying to push forward in a whole new world. Did I miss something? Not everyone has the strength. I'm glad you do."
Seren smiled to herself. "You have no idea what goes through my head these days. Sometimes it feels like I'm floating through, no real finish line in sight."
Steve understood what she meant. The communication method with her mother was not at all close. She felt alone.
"Hey, when this war is over, and you're still around, you think you might want to see New York?" He had no idea what he was asking and why, but he felt the light shake of Seren's body as she chuckled.
"That's where you live, right? Bucky told me the name. You think they'd like me there?"
"Oh, you'd be very popular," Steve said, having no doubt about it.
Seren was smiling for a moment when they looked at each other. And then it waned.
Steve hated it. "Do you want to go now?"
Seren nodded. "If you don't mind."
"Of course not." He let go of Seren and offered her his arm instead.
As they walked out of the pub, Steve caught Bucky smirking at him from across the dancefloor. He definitely didn't appreciate the thumbs up Bucky sent his way.
"I'm sorry about dragging you out," Seren apologized on their walk. She looked up at Steve, truly appearing the part of someone guilty. "I honestly would have found my way back someway. I'm not entirely helpless here. You could have stayed and had some more fun."
"You know, bars were never really my thing," Steve admitted.
"I thought it was a 'pub'," Seren said, tilting her head at him.
"Ah, the English call it a pub. Americans don't."
"Right…" Seren's brows pinched while she tried to recall those names. Peggy had mentioned something about that as well. "Well, either way, you could have stayed."
"Is it that hard to believe I wanted to leave?"
"You hardly danced with anyone," Seren pointed. "Actually, I don't think I saw you dance with anyone. Why not? You're a good dancer."
Steve smiled. "Thanks. You're the first one to tell me that."
"Really?"
Steve nodded. "Mhm, kind of the first time I danced at all. I'm not using that as an excuse in case you secretly thought I was a bad dancer but, yeah…" There were only so many pointers Bucky could give him without actually doing it. Luckily, Seren didn't seem upset at all.
"I think you were a great dancer," she said. "I enjoyed it. Leaving the place had nothing to do with the dancing part, trust me."
"I'm going to choose to believe you there…" Steve said, side-glancing her with an expression that ultimately made her laugh.
They reached their apartment building in no time but instead of heading in, Seren decided to take a seat in the middle of the front steps. She smoothed the skirt of her dress out and looked at Steve.
"If you want to head back, I'm good now," she said, "I just want to look at the sky for a bit before bed."
But of course, Steve walked up the steps and sat down beside her. He was careful to leave a bit of space between them. "So, what are we looking at tonight?"
Seren was openly pleased with his decision and, barely containing her smile, she turned her head up at the sky. "Well, Earth's sky is very funny to me. On most planets that I've been to, you can always see space and all the stars and nearby planets. You can barely see anything here!"
"Yeah, uh, that sounds amazing, actually," Steve said, trying to imagine a sky like she said. "The problem here is that with all the lights, you don't get a lot of visual of the stars. Especially in the city."
"Yeah, I'm starting to get that…" Seren mumbled, "Still, I try to squint my eyes and see something. Like to imagine my mother is out on one of those stars…looking for me."
Steve side-glanced her, taking note of the downcast glint in her eyes. It happened almost every time she spoke of her mother. "I'm sorry," he felt the urge to say. "I'll help you however I can, I swear."
Seren managed a half smile. She got the feeling that he meant every word. "I think my mother would like you," she said suddenly. She caught Steve off guard. One of his feet slipped off the lower step, making him lose his balance. Seren giggled behind one of her hands.
Great. Way to go you idiot! Steve was bright red from embarrassment. "I, uh — she, uh — really?" He cleared his throat and brought both his feet to the same step below them.
"Mhm," Seren nodded, lowering her hand to her lap. "My mother's been here before."
"To-to earth?" Steve blinked.
"Aha. She was on a mission and she ended up here. That was twenty years ago for Earth. I asked Peggy for the current year."
"What, uh, what was she doing here? Or-or what did she do?"
"She never told me what mission she had, just that her mother — my grandmother — assigned her something. My mother dallied, I suppose, and she stayed here for a bit longer. She had a fascination with humans and all their customs."
"She was curious? I can imagine that perfectly," Steve said, nudging her side.
"Yeah, guilty," Seren chuckled for a moment, but there was something else that seemed to be on her mind. "She, uh, she met somebody here. I think he's from your home — uh, the States? She spent a lot more time on Earth than she should have. My grandmother was livid when she got back."
"How long did your mother stay on Earth?" Steve asked curiously.
"Long time," Seren replied, tilting her head up at the sky. "As a Celessian woman, she had to leave at the eight month mark."
"Why?"
"Because Celessian women tend to go into labor between the 8th and 9th month. She barely made the trip back." At that point, Seren could feel Steve's burning gaze on her. She didn't dare tear her eyes off the sky, not yet.
"Are you…how old are you again?" Steve couldn't remember if he'd ever asked Seren her age but now it seemed like there was no point. He knew what he knew.
"Time runs differently the further you're in space…" Seren said quietly. "But my mother arrived back in Celessia just in time to…"
Steve began to shake his head; there were way too many things to connect. "Are you…are you saying that—"
"I'm half human," Seren said, finally meeting his eye albeit cautiously. "My father was human."
Steve gawked at her, mouth completely wide open. If someone years ago told him that he'd be having this kind of conversation, he would have laughed in their face. "Seren, I'm…I don't…I don't know what to say, honestly…"
"Does it make me less scary? Or more of a freak?" Seren desperately wanted to know the answer to the question. She'd been asking herself over and over ever since she got to the city. She wondered how Peggy would take it — how the other soldiers would.
"Neither," Steve said automatically. "Because you're not scary and you're not a freak. Not to me. I…" A smile started spreading across his face. "I just don't even know how to react to this. This is beyond my knowledge! You're half human! Maybe that's why you're so captivated with things here. Because this is also your home."
"You think so?" Seren said, doubtful. "I…I've never been here. My grandmother forbade us from coming."
"What, seriously?" Steve immediately frowned. "Why?"
Seren sighed. She didn't notice when she scooted a bit closer to him. "Being half Celessian has some of its downfalls. My powers came in late — like really late. Developmentally, I'm weaker than most Celessians. I eat differently, I need more sleep, and I'm a bit slower."
"Seriously?" Steve was baffled with what he was hearing. She had taken down a whole ward of soldiers and continued to be a strong force within the SSR and she thought she was weak? Other people thought she was weak!?
"In comparison to other Celessians, yes," Seren nodded. "And trust me, I see it too. I inherited half of my genes from my father. I'm an outcast at home, and I'm an outcast here. I'm too human for Celessia and I'm too alien for Earth." She brought her elbows on her knees and rested her chin on her hands. "Go figure."
"Seren, I think you're putting a lot of pressure on yourself for something that's out of your control," Steve said. "Personally, I don't see anything wrong with you."
"That's what my mother says — used to say," Seren muttered. "She still loves Earth and everything about it. She said she loved my father too. And that if he met me, he'd love me too."
"Does he know…?" Steve dared to ask.
"My mother was so in love with him that she told him everything," Seren said, shaking her head. "My grandmother was so furious. 'Humans — they're so behind that they deem anything different as monstrous'. According to her, my mother cursed me. I'm doomed to be the weaker link." Steve had not met Seren's grandmother but he was positive he despised her. "I wasn't supposed to hear that argument, nor the ones after that. My mother's talked to me many times about this stuff. She swore that my father would love me. He didn't care what she was; he was excited to meet me as a baby. But my mother had to leave; she was afraid human medics wouldn't be able to help her in labor."
"Why didn't she ever come back?" Steve wondered what could have stopped the woman. If her own mother was against the idea of a half-human granddaughter, why not leave?
"I don't know," Seren replied. "I think in the end, she was scared that I would need help from Celessia. My grandmother, hard as she is, is the Matriarch and she knows everything about everything. She's taught me so many things. For better or for worse, she's helped take care of me."
"Under backhanded compliments," Steve said abruptly. The moment he heard his own words, he apologized. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean—"
"It's alright," Seren straightened herself up on the step. "My mother would say something like that too. She would have definitely liked you."
Steve felt something warm in his chest — pride. He was proud of himself that he would have Seren's mother's approval. "Do you know who your father is? Maybe-maybe we can find him."
"Find him?" Seren blinked a few times.
"Yeah, if it was about 20 years ago, he could still be alive. Do you know his name?"
Seren deliberated her answer. At first, the idea of meeting her father was exciting but then it turned into fear. "I-I mean…she told me his name once. Course I didn't forget. He's my father. But do you think he'd want to meet me? I mean…you know…that was 20 years ago for him. If he's still alive, he could have a whole family. There might not be any more room for me."
Steve reached for one of her hands on her lap and held it gently. "I think you should at least try. You never know what could happen."
Seren looked down at their hands then at him. "Would you be there if that happened? If I found him…would you come with me?'
"Why ask what you already know," Steve smiled at her.
"Brooks Soul," she said. "That's his name. That's my father's name." It felt strange saying her father's name in the open. She never spoke the name on Celessia for fear of her grandmother finding out.
"We can start searching tomorrow," Steve said determinedly. The SSR owed him anyways so maybe he could cash that favor in. "Nice to meet you, Seren Soul."
Seren laughed softly. "That's not — if my grandmother heard you, she'd shoot you. My name is Seren Dade."
"Until you meet your father and decide otherwise, you are Seren Soul." Steve unintentionally tugged her closer with her hand still in his. She didn't seem to mind as she was smiling from ear to ear. Once again, he saw the freckles on her cheekbones, and they seemed to highlight her bright green eyes.
"I'll admit that I have thought about using my father's name," Seren said quietly, not leaning back. "My name — Seren — it means 'star' and if you pair that up with my father's name, it means—"
"Star soul," Steve started to smile with her. "What a perfect translation."
Seren then pulled her hand out of his and tugged the collar of her dress to show Steve what was sitting around her neck. It was a choker with a shining star pendant. "When you turn 21, you're officially regarded as an adult in Celessia. You go to a special mine and carve out a star. The very first one you carve is your star. Mine happens to shine kind of strange. Not even that can be normal about me. It never shines the same color twice in a row. Nobody else's does that except for mine. My mother says it's because I'm made of something different."
"I think she was right…" Steve said slowly, eyes flickering from her pendant to her lips. When did they get so close? If he moved just a bit more, their noses would bump. "A star soul. There's no one else like you."
"There's nothing else like this," Seren said, dropping her pendant. "It's why Zola wanted it so badly. Unfortunately for him, it never responded to him. Couldn't even crack it in two. It had to stay with me."
Talking about Zola was the last thing Steve wanted to do, though he did make a note to beat Zola just a bit harder for trying to take something so special to Seren away from her.
"You're amazing," he said breathlessly. He didn't know when he'd run out of air.
Seren bit on her bottom lip. She forgot all about pendants and stars the more she gazed at Steve. "You're a good listener…"
"I-I've been told…" Although if she asked him who had told him that, Steve wouldn't be able to remember. He wouldn't even be able to remember his own name right now!
Seren closed the small space between them and kissed him. The moment Steve felt her lips on his, he felt like he'd come to life in a way that not even the serum had done to him. Kissing back was an instinct. Who would deny a new spark of life?
Seren parted first, almost as if to gauge his reaction. Kissing wasn't something she had planned on doing but she also didn't regret it. She just wanted to see what Steve would do…or say.
It turns out it was neither or. He was too stunned to speak…and it made her laugh.
She stood up from the step and a moment later, so did he. She moved to the next higher step so they could be on a somewhat similar height. There, they gazed at each other until words came to mind.
"Thank you for saving me," Seren said, "I, uh, don't think I ever said that to you. I'd be dead if it weren't for you."
"I'm glad you aren't," the words tumbled from Steve's mouth. He almost smacked himself for saying it but it seemed to be funny as Seren giggled. "I mean, you know, I…"
Seeing him fumble, Seren took her chance and leaned over to kiss him again. He stopped all attempts to talk. Her hand had come to rest on his cheek, like she was making sure he didn't slip away from her. If only she knew that he had no plans for that, none at all.
Seren pulled back first again and, with a smile, gave him a short kiss on the lips. "Thank you for walking me back. Goodnight." She then hurried up the steps and disappeared into the building.
"Good…goodnight…" Steve drew in a big breath as he stared after her. He did not move from his spot for another five minutes.

For the first time in a long time, Seren woke up from a good sleep. She was content while making breakfast — trying to make breakfast. She was still learning how to use some things. The stove was one of them.
Peggy had told her not to use it alone for fear of burning either herself or the whole apartment. That morning, however, Peggy walked into the kitchen and found Seren setting up a proper breakfast on the table.
"Well good morning…" Peggy said, absolutely bemused with the sight. "What is all this…?" After last night, she thought Seren would for sure be upset with her because of her very rude friends. Peggy had gotten up with the intention of telling Seren how she'd ripped her friends for their awful behavior. To put it in simple terms, she thought Seren would be depressed again.
"I tried making breakfast how you do it…" Seren said, resting her hands on the back of the chair. "I got fruit — by the way, I don't know about you but I think bananas would taste better if we stored them in the fridge — and then I made that tea you like. I didn't spill the water this time!"
"And it's not burned…?" Peggy's lips quirked into a smile.
"Not this time!" Seren said proudly. "Although, full disclosure, I did have to use my powers to sort of balance out the heat stuff. Your burners are weak."
"Hey," Peggy said, feigning offense.
Seren chuckled. "Try it! Try everything! And you can be honest if it's not good."
Peggy pulled out a chair and sat down. As she was serving herself, she motioned Seren to sit down as well. "You're not expecting me to eat all this on my own. Last time I remember, you've got a higher calorie intake."
Seren wouldn't deny that. She sat down across from Peggy and started serving herself a plate.
"So, about last night…" Peggy had only said those four words and yet it was enough for Seren to drop her fork. Peggy stopped and looked at the woman.
Seren felt her face warming up. "Uh…last night?" She picked up her fork off her plate.
Peggy nodded slowly, her gaze still lingering on her. "Yes, I want to apologize to you about my friends."
"Ooh, your friends…" Seren sighed of relief.
Peggy once again raised an eyebrow at Seren. "Yes…I know you were upset and rightfully so."
"Peggy, it's not your fault—"
"They shouldn't have treated you like that and I'm going to make sure that it doesn't happen again, I promise."
"Peggy, it's okay," Seren smiled. "What they do doesn't reflect on you. I…I get that it's hard. I did hurt them…maybe apologizing to them might be a good start."
"Absolutely not," Peggy said firmly. Seren blinked a few times. "You shouldn't apologize to people who are rude and stuck on presumptions. When they're ready to have a civilized conversation, we'll be here."
A small smile spread across Seren's face. "Thanks, Peggy. I promise I'll try to be more, uh, normal."
"Just be you, Seren, that's all we ask."
Seren's smile spread even more. She began to eat her breakfast.
"Now you want to tell me what's got you in such a joyful mood this morning?" Peggy knew something was up when Seren nearly choked on her fruit.
"N-nothing, just…" Seren cleared her throat, "Excited that I'm continuing to learn my way around these things," she made a pass at the table. "That's all."
"That's all?" Peggy asked suspiciously.
"Mhm, that's all," Seren nodded and picked up her fork again.
Peggy continued to stare at Seren with eyes squinted, but Seren insisted that everything was fine.

Howard had sent for Seren in the morning saying her suit was nearly done. He just wanted her input on some final details. Seren was delighted with the news and joined Peggy that morning at the SSR.
Seren knew exactly where Howard's lab was, having spent most of her time there when she was in the SSR. Peggy walked with her halfway to the lab.
"There's some things I have to take care of with Phillips. Will you be alright?" Peggy asked Seren in the hallway.
"Yeah, of course." Seren was still grinning from ear to ear, had been all morning so far. Peggy thought it was strange.
"And then we're all going to meet with Howard afterwards," Peggy said. "He's going to show some of the weapons he's developed for the soldiers."
"Will Steve be there too?" Seren asked with a beam on her face.
"Yes…" Peggy nodded. "And myself, as Howard…would you like the attendance list?"
Seren laughed. "I'm good, thanks."
Peggy would never say it out loud but Seren was acting very strange. She would much rather have this version of Seren than the depressed one, she would just like to know what the reason behind it was.
Seren went in to see Howard but it turned out that he was busy handling another matter. She was told to wait but of course doing so alone was not very appealing. She found out soon after coming into the city that being alone was even worse because she had no idea what could happen. The only reason she insisted on her new friends leaving her was so as to not take away their time from important tasks.
She left the lab to go find Peggy. Hopefully, she could stick to the woman's side until Howard was ready for her. She wouldn't admit it but she was also keeping an eye out for a certain blonde that could also be around.
She made the turn into a new hallway and to her shock, she found Steve. He was not alone — he was far from it. He was kissing another woman, one that — if memory served right — had been at the pub the previous night. She had not been kind.
She coughed intentionally and very quickly felt a deep rage start in her stomach. It was something she'd never felt before. It was absolutely horrid.
At least they both seemed to be embarrassed when they broke apart — Steve shoved the woman away a bit hard, but Seren wouldn't waste thoughts on it.
"Seren—"
"I think Colonel Phillips was looking for you," Seren lied through gritted teeth. She had no idea what Colonel Phillips was doing at the moment but if Steve got into trouble for interrupting him, she wouldn't lose sleep over it.
Her eyes flickered to the other woman. "I remember you," she smiled politely. "And you are absolutely right. My strength is very uncontrollable." Her sweet smile spread while the other woman paled. "Accidents do happen."
Seren turned and walked away. She had no stomach to see Howard or any of the inventions he prepared for them.
"Seren!" Steve chased after her. "That wasn't — it wasn't what you thought it was!"
Seren smiled sourly, picking up her pace. Unfortunately, they were both pretty similar in their speed. "I'm from another planet, Steve, not stupid. You're free to do what you want anyways. You've done so much for me, I won't get in your way."
"Seren, c'mon—" Steve reached for her arm but Seren easily pulled it away.
"I have to go find Peggy, scuse me," she muttered and made a show of walking even faster. With any luck, he'd get the message and not follow her.
And he didn't follow.
~0~
Seren did not show up to meet Howard as planned. Once she learned this, Peggy set out to find out what happened. It wasn't like Seren to miss an agreed meeting, especially when it concerned something so important to her. Thankfully, Seren had not left the SSR, although it wasn't because she didn't want to.
"I forgot the streets," she complained to Peggy. They were on their way to meet Howard.
"Why would you want to leave without meeting Howard first?" Peggy couldn't wrap her head around it. "You were so excited to see what he had for you. Did he upset you?"
"No, of course not!" Seren said quickly. The last thing she wanted was for Howard to pay for something completely unimportant. "I just…I started to feel bad." Depressed, more like it.
"I know you don't like the medics but maybe we can have one of them check you out?" As soon as Peggy suggested the idea, Seren refused.
"No way in hell! No thanks! Nu-uh!"
Peggy half smiled at her. "Alright, then how about we just get you home early? Soon as you meet with Howard, I can have you taken home."
"Yeah, that's a better idea," Seren nodded. "Honestly, it's probably just something I ate this morning. My stomach's not used to getting food so easily now. Good food, you know. I'm sure after I take a nap or something, I'll be better."
Peggy agreed and led her into the lab where Howard was working. Unfortunately, Seren also caught sight of Steve talking with him. And just like that, anger flourished in her chest again.
"Mr. Stark, I've found your missing client," Peggy announced as they joined the men.
"Perfect," Howard beamed. "I've got some things for you too, Seren!"
Seren was unwilling to smile even under his cheery gaze. She crossed glances with Steve. He seemed unsure of himself.
"I don't want to disturb if you're not done," Seren said to Howard and stepped a few — a lot of — steps back. Peggy, dumbfounded followed.
"Nonsense, we're almost done," said Howard dismissively. "Think Steve's chosen his preferred weapon. Isn't that right?"
Steve still seemed reluctant, eyes lingering on Seren while he reached for the shield they'd been discussing before the women arrived.
"That one?" Peggy said, sounding doubtful.
"Don't be fooled, Agent Carter," Howard said with a smirk. "It's completely vibration absorbent. Should make a bullet feel like a cotton ball."
"If you have it, how come it's not standard issue?" asked Steve, grazing a few fingers down the shield. It felt normal enough.
"It's the rarest metal on earth," Howard answered both. "You're holding all we've got."
Steve considered the uniqueness of the weapon and looked up at the others. "What do you guys think?"
All Howard needed was to give a thumbs up. Peggy merely shrugged; one weapon more or less was about the same for her.
Seren, however, smiled tartly. "I don't know, I think it should be tested."
"It's gone through a series of—" Howard had just started when Seren shot a blast of star matter from her hand. Steve barely reacted in time and pulled the shield in front of his face.
Both Howard and Peggy jerked back, utterly stunned. The shield remained perfectly intact. Seren stared at it, then at Steve when he lowered the shield. His eyes were just as wide.
"I owe you an apology…" Seren waited a moment then looked over at Hogward. "You were right. It is strong." She turned on her heels and stormed out.
Peggy slowly leaned off the table, hand on her heart as its beats started to slow to normal. Then, she looked over at Steve, still shell-shocked. "What did you do?" She whisper-hissed then went after Seren.
Steve was at a loss of words as well. He met Howard's gaze, and the man was basically asking the same thing as Peggy. The only difference is that Howard had more of a 'yikes' expression on his face.
~0~
When Peggy finally caught up to Seren, the latter was already nearing the entry point of the headquarters. "You want to explain yourself about what happened back there!?"
Seren stopped walking only out of respect for Peggy. "I'm sorry!" She turned to Peggy. "I didn't mean — I'm sorry!"
"Don't apologize to me," Peggy said incredulously. "I'm not the one you shot at with outerspace powers!"
"No," Seren agreed, "I just shot at Steve — oh my God…" Her eyes widened, comprehending what she'd done. She brought her hands together in front of her mouth. "I shot Steve."
Peggy's eyebrows raised. She was absolutely floored but she had a suspicion that something had happened between Seren and Steve that was just eating Seren up.
"So you just woke up today and decided to shoot at a fellow colleague?" Peggy said, crossing her arms. "Or is there something you want to get off your chest?"
Seren slowly lowered her hands from her face. "I, uh…" Her eyes roamed their immediate area, wanting to keep her words just between them. "I don't know what happened." And she really didn't know how it happened. "One moment, Steve and I are talking last night and the next, I'm kissing him. We're kissing. And then today, I see him kissing another woman and at first I was angry, then I was sad but then I got angry again and I-I just, I—"
"Decided to shoot him," Peggy said, her lips stretching into a smile. "Good. He deserved it."
Seren's brows furrowed. "You're not mad?"
Peggy chuckled. "No. He had it coming."
"No, but…" Seren sighed, "I could have hurt him. In the end, he can do whatever he wants. I'm the one who kissed him. I was just stupid for thinking things that weren't."
"Mm, I wouldn't go that far…" Peggy moved over to Seren's side, bringing one arm around Seren's shoulders. "What do you say we go out for lunch today? I can show you some shops."
"Why?" Seren made a face.
"Don't you go shopping when you're upset?"
"Our clothes were always made for us," Seren said, shrugging. "My family's important."
Peggy laughed. "Of course! My apologies, your highness! Well, then I'll have the pleasure of showing you how to shop around here!"
Seren walked with her out of instinct. She didn't really have the cheery mood to go and shop, but she supposed it was better than going home and lying in bed all day.

hiiii i wanna hear your thoughts about robert and giselle’s pasts. mostly their families like parents, siblings, etc. giselle especially because it seems like she just came outta the wood work HAHA. what’s your headcanon past for her!!! (but robert toooo)
AH !
okay so I'll go through Robert's first bc it's kind of basic, and shorter.
I think he comes from a wealthy family, with two successful lawyer parents, and was an only child. He was very close with both parents (Marie and David), though he was definitely closer to his mother. He really admired her, and she was ultimately the reason he chose to pursue law. He did think about becoming a teacher for a little while, but ended up choosing family law bc it's what his mom did.
Despite being closer to his mom, he really did love his dad, and is definitely more like him personality-wise. I think his mom was more out-going and positive, whereas his dad was introverted and sarcastic, with a bad sense of dad humor, which Robert absolutely picked up.
His parents ended up dying when he was around 23 (car accident), and outside of his (now ex) wife (Vanessa) he had no other family. I think he does have a few very distant relatives floating around, but none that he's ever met.
Also, I headcanon his full name is Robert Florian Philip, and that Florian was his grandfather's name :]
Now, for Giselle!
I know Andalasia is meant to be this like... happy, upbeat place but I kind of like to lean into the darker elements that it might contain. It's a fairytale world, after all, and we know trolls were trying to eat her, and Narissa was trying to kill her so, I can indulge a lil bit :]
With that said, I think Giselle's parents were, sadly, killed when she was a baby. We know the animals found her left alone in the woods, and I like to think that the cottage she lived in was where she was born/living when her parents died. Because it happened when she was so young, she has no memories, even on her Memory Tree, and has no idea who her parents were or what happened to them. None of the animals do either, but everyone kind of assumes they must've died.
All of the animals helped take care of her, but none more than Pip's family. I know chipmunks don't live as long in real life, but in Andalasia they do, it's true, it's real. He's two years older than Giselle and acts as her older brother.
Her cottage was hidden pretty deep in the forest and, because of that, she had very limited human interaction for most of her life. I do think, though, that she and Pip would sneak off to get a closer look at the kingdom and observe how the people there lived, and Giselle would mimic how the women held themselves, and spoke. I also think, once they were older and a bit bolder, they'd steal things from the bakery and library. Giselle will deny she ever did this, saying Pip did all the dirty work, but she absolutely helped. They were definitely a bread stealing team.
Circling back to her limited human interaction bit, ohhhh she was starving for human interaction. Sometimes, she'd flip through the many books she owned and wish more than anything that she could find her true love just so she could have at least one other human to talk to. She used to go back and forth on whether or not she should try and live in the kingdom, but she didn't want to leave her family, and she worried she wouldn't be welcomed there. Meeting Edward was a dream come true, not just bc she thought he was her true love but also bc hello !! Human interaction ? He's saying I can live in the kingdom? This is wonderful !!
Also, sidenote, bc she spent so long running, hiding, and defending herself from trolls, and other threatening mythical creatures, she's got quite a few scars on her body and, I think, if she'd had a better angle, she could've slayed Narissa on her own.
Overall, though, Giselle had a very happy childhood! She was certainly desperate for human interaction, but she loved her animal family, and wouldn't have traded them for anything. They taught her how to sew, and cook, and read, and dance, and defend herself when it was needed (how do the animals know this? that's the power of Andalasia baby). I don't think she wondered too much about her biological parents as she got older, and while she is technically an only child, she considers like. Half the forest her siblings/cousins so. Robert ended up with a lot of in-laws to impress.

Hey do you think that Felix kinda gaslighted Athanasia into giving Claude a chance since she was five? Like why is he encouraging this relationship with he knows that Claude abandoned her on purpose and he witnessed him almost kill her? And he was relying on her to "fix" Claude as if he was misunderstood.
And lily too, both kept pushing this idea onto Athanasia when she knew otherwise. I think this might have influence her decision in going back to him when Jennette had suggested she'd go.
I wouldn't call this gaslighting but his support of their relationship definitely influenced her decision to give Claude another chance. It's almost as if Felix cared more about Claude than Athy. Claude has done lots of things that Felix has been ignoring: torturing people, killing the concubines, killing his marriage candidates, killing a marquis for an alleged intimacy with the neighbouring Castorea (Side Story: I Became a Father One Day) threatening to kill others for daring to be annoying or boring. Sometimes Felix objects weakly but then Claude tells him to shut up and he does. Amazing that he doesn’t dare to go against Claude but expects it from child! Athy. Don’t get me wrong I like Felix but the fact that he let LP Athy be executed without a proper investigation and Lily killed alongside her leaves a bitter taste in my mouth especially when the manhwa lowkey ships Felix/Lily.
You could interpret it that way that Felix' top priority wasn't Athy reuniting with her family and having a healthy relationship with them but her healing the bruise Diana left on Claude's heart and the family thing was just a method to achieve that. In the Lovely Princess he was content with Jennette "healing" Claude and didn't make any big attempts to mediate between Claude and LP Athy although he was sad about the treatment she received. In the end it didn't matter who was fixing him.
This makes Felix look morally grey but c'mon the only other explanation I have is that he's stupidly naive which also doesn't fit with his Knight of Crimson blood persona. As Claude's guard and advisor he should be capable of recognizing a person's true nature. Claude never bothered to hide his ugly side from him. In LP Athy's own words Claude has always been cruelly honest from the start. Felix is just that devoted to his master. He was willing to risk Athy’s life to improve Claude’s well-being.
As for Lily: inconsistent character. No one in their right mind would want the child they raised in the same room as the man who murdered a dozen women in cold blood. Felix was friends with Claude and saw him in a good light but Lily was never that close to Claude. She has the worst impression of him, he kills everyone in the Ruby Palace, dumps a child on her and tells her if ever word about it gets out he kills everyone there, and then he appears again wants to play daddy and suddenly attempts to kill his daughter again lol wtf.
If Athy had a support system from the start that wouldn't encourage her to go back to her abuser she wouldn't have gone. Lucas offering to kill Claude doesn't count, he's basically Claude 02 anyway. Everyone she cared about is connected to Claude. If she was losing Claude she was going to lose the others too.

What makes you think Worick as toxic and what are his red flags? Other than the hero complex you talked about.
So most everyone carries at least one red flag in gangsta, as most everyone kills people. So even characters like Delico or Yang, who are some of the least "problematic" characters in the series, are red flags in that they're Mafia. So we'll put the murdering as part of a gang or Mafia aside as a red flag we won't count specifically for Worick, bc that's the kind of world Gangsta is--you gotta do what you can to survive.
Other red flags:
- yandere alert: he kills Miles; in other words, he will kill those he loves in the name of the greater good (and that's scary bc how do you even define what greater good is). Now I personally suspect Miles asked Worick to kill him, or it was at least a mutual decision, say Miles asked Worick what the counter-attack plan should be, and Worick saying Miles has to die for that, and so on. But I wouldn't put it past Worick to also just kill Miles if Miles wouldn't suggest first that he was okay with dying. After all, we see him being okay with sacrificing Nic, or the whole city. (being okay doesn't mean he has no remorse; imo Worick has made up his mind he will die by the end of this story, so he's a captain dying with the ship he caused to sink).
- scum manifesto feminist, or the closest we see to a male mysandrist (now this can be a green flag to some). I know some fans have pointed out he hates women, bc of how rude he was in his head to some of the clients ("nic is not a gigolo, you dumb woman"), but to me that's just Worick's reaction to abuse coming up on the surface: these women that buy his services are buying paid rape in a way--he needs to eat so he cannot consent, plus they definitely treat him like an object and someone that needs to perform in front of them or otherwise he won't get paid or won't be booked another time. Sex work is harsh; clients, even those that aren't physically violent, are emotionally abusive, so that outburst (in his head) is Worick retaliating for the way his clients use him. More so, we see him hate men specifically, and see women as damsels to be saved: men are trash and women can do no wrong, but this way he is also being sexist to both men and women in some way. The fact that he humiliated Striker not bc Striker had stabbed Worick and dropped him from the second floor, but rather bc of Striker killing Connie. Godlike status for women isn't good either, but Worick, possibly bc of mommy issues, and being a specifically straight sex worker, has created some fucked up wiring between intimacy and his ideals of what the world should be like: these women have co-opted him and he has co-opted his own views in return to cope with his sex worker job.
(A while back I said I had a suspicion that Worick's words implied the prostitute he threatened over Nic a while back was a transwoman, so idk what that makes of how Worick sees transwomen--like I said, it's a very biologically driven take on male and female with no nuances in his take. Perhaps he will have some pity for pretty boys like Delico who edge on the side of what Worick considers feminine. And we're not even going to talk about how abusive he was to little Nic, but that could be forgiven with Worick being a shit kid and mellowing out over the years. It does however betray some hate towards what he doesn't understand: twilights, violent men (possibly bc his father used to beat him up); and feeling closer to women bc of not having met his mother--hence she can't be concrete enough for Worick to hate, and bc of his job as a gigolo and having to see things from a woman's POV, either to be popular, or bc these clients probably did complain about their lives to him.)
- I don't want to say being a sex worker is a red flag, bc I blame the people that buy him, and Worick himself did nothing wrong. (in fact, sex workers in general are abused by clients, and judged by everyone else, and arrested, and discriminated and so on). But I do think that kind of work had fucked up his intimacy in how close he can get to people. Similar to Beretta, I think Worick only knows to give sex as a way to show love for someone, and possibly cannot be emotionally intimate outside of physically, and that would cause trouble if he ever ended up in a relationship with someone. It will be hard for him to de-objectify himself, and be miserable and confused when his one and only "love language" aka sex doesn't work. This is something a lot of porn stars and sex workers talk about: how everything they are viewed for and the only way they are viewed becomes sexual--they are conceptualized to be this sexual creature 24/7 and thus open to encounters and objectification and thriving on it (the stories of people thinking they're chum bc they saw them at the strip pole or online and feeling like this woman at the supermarket is there not living a normal life but ready to be sexualized). It's very dehumanizing, and people cannot separate that stripping or sex is just a job, and not their whole character or life, and people cannot seem to understand that these are people just like you and me. Male sex workers may have this to a lesser extent, but it does open the door for abuse on the side of Worick's partner bc people don't see sex workers as human. And in the best scenario, Worick has set himself up to a life of not being able to be emotionally and intimately close with someone bc he'd rather make it sexual and scare them away before things get too deep. (I had an old post on this specifically->
.)
- lastly bc Worick's a person good at keeping it in, i.e. has worked in customer service for the past 20+ years, there is a lot of pent up anger about to boil over once he's free of inhibitions. And being fine with dying really removes the largest inhibition there is, so it should be interesting to see Worick in the coming chapters.

5 - Only Deal I Have
Tumblr media
Part 6
A God Worthy Soulmate
@queenieala thanks for helping
I tried kicking him away right as someone snapped their neck causing him to drop at my feet. Holding a hand to my neck I gasped, eyes locked onto a figure I couldn't believe had come to my rescue. "You..."
I stumbled almost falling into some mud behind me. Seeing Ken standing before me. "What are you doing here? You said you let me go?" I was so confused as to why he was here now.
"I don't know, girl. But something told me to. So I think I should be hearing a thank you." He replied by dropping the vampire's body from his hands.
Scoffing at his words I turned on my heels about leaving him here. "Thank you for kidnapping me"
"If I wished to hurt you, Clarisse. I already would have. Now you and I need to discuss something." He suddenly appeared in front of me blocking me from getting around him.
Throwing my hands up from my sides, rolling my eyes just wanting to go home already. He isn't exactly the best company to be around from what I can gather in the few hours I've known him. "We don't have to discuss anything. I gave you back your key necklace. So we're done and I'm going home now!"
"I am not used to asking nicely for someone to do something. So if you prefer to act like a child I will force you." He threatened staring deeply into my eyes.
Crossing my arms over my chest with my hair in front of my face annoyed with this God man. "I'm not afraid of you...Ken is it. So give me one reason I should listen to anything you have to say?"
He stepped closer where our chests were almost touched, I glared at him deeply not standing down and shook my head not wanting to deal with this.
"I'm done playing these games with you " I scoffed and took a step back before turning around and continuing on walking.
But once again he sort of vamped in front of me grabbing a hold of my left wrist. "What if I offered to help you get home once you listen to what I have to say?" Slumping my shoulders I nodded simply yes in agreement following him back to his place.
I walked back to the warehouse with him and followed him inside. At that moment Jen walked into the room eating yet another burrito. Her eyes widened as she saw me and stared at me confused.
"Oh, hey dude thought you left " Jen mumes.
"Well, I don't know how to get home so I'm stuck, '' I replied shrugging my shoulders.
"So, dad, is this another lover of yours... I mean if she is would you guys mind being quiet if you do the deed " Jen blurted out.
Covering my face with my hands I felt my face burning red at her mentioning that yet again. Seriously how many girls has this guy been with that it's a common thing. "Very funny daughter, " Ken said sarcastically, glaring at her.
"What else I am supposed to think I mean you fly through women more than I fly though burritos " Jen remarked.
"Watch your tone, " Ken warned, staring at his daughter.
"Okay, um can you just take me home " I asked, wanting not to get out of here.
"Because I'm not going to be one of your lovers." Pointing my index finger at Ken rolling my eyes with my face still red.
His eyes trained onto mine, securing my wrist tugging me into another room that has a coffin inside, leaning against the wall. He closes the door behind us right before I winced feeling someone entering my mind. "It's nice to meet you, Clarisse." I didn't recognize the voice inside my head so it definitely wasn't Ken playing with me.
"Who the hell is that?" I cursed under my breath looking around the room in a slight panic.
Ken squeezed my shoulder where I jumped away from him, still keeping my guard up. "Cronus, the God of Time. He's inside there but he can appear inside your mind. Just clear your mind and let him show you something."
"Or what you'll kill me?" I scoffed, flashing my wolf eyes at him.
"I wouldn't be able to kill you even if I wanted to. According to his visions." He spoke, making me more confused than I already was.
Slumping my shoulders I closed my eyes. Stepping a few feet away from him seeing I'm back in the field that I have already seen. "Okay I'm done with the games. Show yourself already!" I shouted, throwing my hands up in the air stomping around.
"He was right. You are a feisty one aren't you?" Whipping my head around I gasped softly seeing someone that looks like Ken but has a much longer beard. "I am Cronus and there's something you have to know, Clarisse."
My hair got blown in my face so I pushed it behind my ears, sighing heavily. "Just tell me already. I'm not immortal. I don't have all day."
Cronus steps up holding up the golden necklace that apparently now was a key. "You're linked to Ken, my dear. I'm not sure how but...you are mates."
"What " I exclaimed.
"Are you sure brother? " Ken asked behind me.
"Brother " I questioned, staring at the two confused.
"Half brother actually, " Cronus answered.
"And, yes I am sure I'm never wrong, " He added.
I shook my head not believing what I was hearing and yanked the necklace off of me before handing it to the time God.
"You must be mistaken me with someone else " I simply said and walked out of the room.
Comments really appreciated ❤️

it's true that a lot of people online give themselves permission to say "dramatic" things about strangers because it's sadly very normalized here. but i don't think we necessarily need to swoop on the lowest level attainable and choose between different forms of violent speech every time we are really angry about something, emotionally mature people are capable of expressing strong opinions without wishing violence on the person they disagree with. instead of diverting with the whataboutism, you could just answer the question if you really care so much. what did you mean by what you wrote and if you didn't mean it at all then why not admit that you misspoke? what could the consequences possibly be?
I can see you're really clinging to this and I understand because I've done this before with bloggers on here too especially women. but I was not saying dramatic things about any targeted stranger, I was introducing a hypothetical and then giving an example of the kind of - imo - unhinged behaviour I meant. it must be kept in mind this was a throwaway joke post, made in about a few minutes or so
this is a very personal admission and shouldn't be taken as anything more than musing, but I actually have a type of obsessive compulsive disorder that used to make me feel very, strongly guilty about even saying 'I want this person to die' (and I could be talking about a world leader whose policies are responsible for killing millions of people!). I avoided any sense of moral ambiguity in anything I said because I was truly terrified this meant I was a 'bad person' who 'condoned violence' etc. but the truth is, I've given myself the permission that other ordinary people allow themselves all the time, to just say whatever it is I think, no matter if it's a bit silly, or hyperbolic, or whatever; because I should be allowed the grace in interpretation that other people are afforded when they say throwaway comments like this, too. from others (though you don't always get it, which is fine), but also from myself. the reason being is that it's not actually a huge deal or something to get so hung up on
so yes, like you, I have certain standards of conduct; I rarely (or perhaps nowadays never?) say people should 'kill themselves', for example, because this feels personal to me as someone with mental health issues who cares deeply about these topics. I can assure you, if I had even remotely been alluding to domestic violence against women when I quipped 'should be slapped', it would not have been written. I would have deleted it and written something else. this, of course, doesn't insulate me from the interpretations of others who take it a different way, either maliciously assigning significance to it that wasn't there to try and get the upper hand in an argument, or because they truly misread me and are perhaps upset I used language like that. I hope, at least, I've been able to clear up my intentions here
that said, I won't be apologising for the throwaway comment. I have considered it in writing this post and have written nothing that troubles me or my values. I'm sorry we disagree, but I still don't believe it's a big deal. you ofc don't have to accept that and can hold yourself to whatever standards of, well, discussion, posting, articulating yourself, idk, that you like. but you can't get someone else to repent for misbehaviour just because you wouldn't allow yourself it or dislike it. there was no literal person or even a concrete group against which I was threatening an actual act of violence; it was purely hypothetical to get a point across about how silly and ridiculous I find something. I believe to most people this came across loud and clear

"It seems I have a singular taste for women who threaten me." (180)

"Fear is terrible, but the combination of hope and fear is worse." (244)
"I am small, diminished, powerless." (244)
"I wasn't kind, Jude. Not to many people. Not to you. I wasn't sure if I wanted you or if I wanted you gone from my sight so that I would stop feeling as I did, which made me even more unkind. But when you were gone- truly gone beneath the waves- I hated myself as I never have before." (266)

"Sweet Jude. You are my dearest punishment." (285)
"You know, that ought to be reassuring. But when mortals say it, it doesn't mean the same thing as when the Folk do, does it? For you, it's an appeal. A kind of hopeful magic. You say I will be well because you fear I won't be." (288)
"Oh, how many times I have wished that you couldn't lie? Never more than now." (289)
"Marry me. Become the Queen of Elfhame." (304)

You know what, I'm just gonna come out and fucking say it with God as my one and only witness: That anon has no idea how "Priveleged" she is. The very fact that she can sit there and argue about it and go "see, if I did it people would be mad!" is the most Priveleged shit I've heard in my life. It's the same thing my male boomer relatives say about women who get food stamps to feed their children while unable to work. It's the same shit they say about Pride events being held. It's the same shit they say about poc civil rights rallies.
That anon is a bitch of a TERF who is so deep in it that she doesn't realize she's talking the same way as people who hate her guts. She can't even fathom that she's treating others in a way that she probably thinks people should be killed for treating her.
like I said to her "I don't even like the term privilege, outside of the ultra-wealthy, a lot of what we call "privilege" is actually just the lack of a disadvantage - it'd usually be called privilege that you don't understand the plight of those groups, and that you have the freedom to hate as you do, but really that's just you lacking the disadvantage of experiencing life as we, or other such marginalised groups, do." she saw a disabled person talking about getting past the internalised messages of people who judge queue skipping access, with an aside about another situation, and talking about witnessing a hate crime and trying to help, but freezing up because of the dissociative disorders, and she decided to ignore all of the important stuff I was talking about and zero in on me getting a pass to go into a vip lounge one time because a toilet was broken... it is very telling how that is what she views as a societal privilege, and not the fact that she never even has to have a panic attack because she forgot her disabled toilet key (yes, my country decided that all public disabled loos should be locked, and a private company hired to make and distribute the keys at whatever cost they want, and that's going about as well as you imagine, I've had to ask security guards to open toilets for me before because I'm severely disabled and it's easy to forget a chunky stupid key, which is also something she keeps ignoring re the non-vip disabled loo also being broken, iirc it was because a pipe or something on that floor on the side those were on had broken while the gendered loos are in different places with different pipes, so despite being given the pass because I'm trans, I likely would've been given it that day even if I wasn't because I'm disabled, and I'm sure she'd have said nothing if that was how it had gone down), or a panic attack because somebody clocked you in a gendered loo and started shouting or screaming or threatening or worse. you're right, what she's saying is exactly the shit I was arguing against in my post, the "it's privilege to have any help whatsoever to pull you out of a disadvantage that other people don't have" - skipping the queue is so that I don't end up in hospital from pushing myself too much to stand for that long, using the unisex toilets in the vip lounge was so that the security guard wouldn't have more work to do later if/when some cunt attacked us in the loos (which wouldn't usually require vip access to avoid because usually those aren't the only unisex ones), accessing foodstamps is so that you don't starve, moving seats on an airplane is so that you don't suffer if (for example) you're allergic to somebody's perfume, pride and civil rights rallies are to push for changes to end oppression, and so on. but these people see anybody getting anything and go "why don't I get things?" and you know what, they deserve things too, everybody deserves the help they need, that's... literally what I concluded in my post. I said the issue here is that the venue doesn't take steps to make the queue less unbearable for everybody else, and that leaves them bitter. "privilege" is a misnomer, as I said, but it also gets individualised too much by these petty internet disputes - that's why I prefer saying "societal disadvantage" or "lack of a societal disadvantage", despite it being more of a mouthful. because a single person getting something one time is not "privilege", that term is supposed to be for discussing sociological systems, institutions, etc, and there's no security guard council giving the transes vip access as a policy. she is exhibiting the symptoms of being of a "privileged group", or rather not being in specific disadvantaged ones, because she's blind to how horrific things can be for us that are completely easy for her, she doesn't even know how the disadvantaged group feels because she doesn't have that disadvantage. and thus she derails important conversations with stupid lines of questioning and poor understanding of sociological terminology.

Men are oppressed
American men are pretty terrible.
they don't support one another.
mostly they support women.
Mostly they like to fight one another.
Men do not like to stick up for patriarchy
Or white patriarchy
or Jewish supremacy (zionism)
Or God's supremacy.
They will SAY they stick up for god. Actually coming to me and fighting for me or soemthing is completely out of the question. Rather, you should find some cause of your own and SAY you are supporting god for fighting.
Definitely do that.
They also don't fight for or demand reasonable things that would make everyone better off. Such as Full Employment, Sound Money or Land Equality. Or at least I haven't seen to many of them.
They watch too much porn. But really, who can blame them for that, the women certainly don't want to be good women.
They don't like to hire other men either, they just hire women. Or, they join a secret society. Most have probably swallowed the red pill wholesale which is a synonym for the Jeff pill.
I saw some men talking one day and they were just trashtalking some guy for talking shit about women. They like to police the speech of men about women although if women are raped and killed I don't htink they would actually stick up for them like the indigejnous women in America.
Being basically beat up by society all the time we tend to perform worse- then we are blamed for it.
We don't see ourselves as victims though even though we are. Then we lash out and we're blamed for being "violent" even though society does enormous violence to us.
we want to be treated like Kings but mostly people just treat us like less than dirt.
People have extremely unrealistic expectations of men. My father for instance was tall, a PhD scientist, a photographer, he was polite, a supporter of civil rights etc. Not good enough. He couldn't support my mother so out the door he went. He never laid a hand on her. Her mother on the other hand stayed with an alcoholic, abusive, pedophile to the bitter end because she didn't want to lose societal status as a respectable woman. This is female morality in action. Her relationship, Her children are not as important as her social status or money. I am sure you can come up with more stories.
It wasn't good enough. People wouldn't hire him. Ok, the post office hired him because he fought for his country. So, you know if we go out and kill people we might get treated a little better.
Then we get blamed for all the wars.
But I still had this one fucking security guard steal my glasses and the other threaten to arrest me for loitering. One gay guy I know was almost killed. Lesbians aren't treated like that. Cops will kill men all the fucking time. Unfortunately, other men are men's biggest problem immediate. Women just destroy your reputation and such, which can be just as bad, but men are outright dangerous to each other and there's nothing like class consciousness.
I think the big issue is that most men overvalue sex and because they overvalue sex they see other men as "not providing value" and as a threat to them because they might fuck their wives and/or girlfriends.
Men are the ones who should have the authority and many "individual" men often do, but this individualism is poisonous. It would be much better if we took the feminists advice and had one top woman to run society who would be ousted out if she did a bad job. Actually, a lot of things the feminists want would be good. more transwomen for example and gay rights. That means there is less men sexually competing with one another.
Score one for the feminists.
Instead, men should think of themselves as the moral center. The ones who do and create everything in the image of god and therefore the ones who society should be taking care of. However, we don't think like that in general and society in general doesn't do it.
God put men in charge for a reason, but society doesn't want to accept it it seems. It's not socially acceptable. "tired old white patriarchy" and what they mean is God's supremacy and right to rule and set the tone.
If we are the moral centers than we can focus on building relationships and such. However, since we are not taken care we have to fight tooth and nail to survive and mostly we don't survive. Men die at much higher rates than women.
At first such comraderie could probably only be built around hatred of women though. Because men do not love each other and one thing that they share in common is a shared trauma of having loved women a LOT and then having women turn on them in the most horrendous ways. having to go out and get rejected again and again by women and finding out that women aren't really interested even in relationships but just want to have a "relationship experience" with money involved or date tall guys simply because they are tall.
It is partly our fault though because we won't support one another or support one another's authority etc.
Except I did. In the holy books I SPECIFICALLY say that churches should not allow women to be pastors. specifically.
Instead what do you I get? Most atheists are men.
That's right, I support male authority and the men turn around and say "we're too rational for that, we're too modern for that" Most men are gender traitors and are cowards too who won't talk about how the men are oppressed.
It would help some if we took on a little cues from the SJWs and supported men as a gender too and the right to choose, say shit like #and still he persisted Or #transmen are men or start a camparing to end violence against men. You could perhaps start by not beating the living shit out of each other for instance or sending each other to prison.
At first I thought Jeff was superman, then I realized I probably am. I probably master the "reset reality" ability then come back to this time period and place again and again to make myself stronger. As time moves on, I probably end up with the public persona of superman.
A lot of stuff falls into place if you start thinking about god as the authority which most men don't. They want to believe they are the authority rather than god. However their authority is based on the idea that they are "the image of god" which is to say, the image of god also has authority, and it's not random either. The human male body complete with the beard is probably one of the most authoritative forms in all of reality, perhaps because human men are smart and creative enough to think of superpowers like shapeshifting and such.
other forms might just be too complicated, such as 17 dimension equivalent of a dragon-mechwarrior for instance. If people could see and relate to that form they might accept it as an authority, but no one can.
So, we probably shouldn't be too fascist. thinking that we have the right to rule simply because we have this form. But it's telling that the form of a man is the form that all the other power movements so far have to fight so hard against. There's something "natural" about accepting a man's authority whereas people just don't really tend to think of women as the authority.
it's very important to note that the universal declaration of human rights talks about "acting in a spirit of brotherhood" and the american constitution talks about Equality between men. There's a reason that all the characters in the Bible are men and it's that so often in society you don't see too many men as women take over those spaces as one gorilla guy or simp or another tries to be super chivalrous by supporting women's rights as a way of ousting other men.
I had a fight with this girl I was hanging around, i wasn't even fucking her, but I had guys up in my face threatening to beat me up. I hadn't touched her and she was screaming at me louder than her. This is why I may be completely wrong about the secret societies. They may be completely necessary as men banding together to do things is completely anti-thetical to the common people's conception of morality which is based completely on the concept that women, not men, are the moral center. It is thought of as more horrific to kill a woman than a man somehow. I have had guys threaten to kill me, laid their hands on me etc, but the minute you touch a woman it is taboo.
We should replace women with artificial wombs.
We should be calling wars "male genocides" although modern ones are not because of the use of nuclear weapons. However, there is definitely a lot of things in society which amount to male genocide. Very pointedly, men WANT power, but NEED relationships, sympathy and love. All the things that women get for free. All the free pornography is good for guys in a way, but I'm still unemployed and living on the street because my family won't take care of me and other people have conned me out of my money.
We are treated like living wallets by the rest of society which is why I think the ultimate sexual kink is demanding that women pay men for sex and relationships rather than men paying women. We should not see sex as valuable enough to pay women for it quite honestly and I probably should not have built my wife that house which was destroyed in the earthquake.
I'm still happy with women in a way, because I never thought I would get a girlfriend and I got one, but now I look at society and I realize that it is headed for the pits and a lot of it is based on
One thing that most men want is a lot of sex in thier lives. However, society does things specifically to target men for wanting sex, for demanding sex, for pursuing sex freely. The sexual revolution was a revolution for WOMEN and gays. not for men, particularly straight men.
Corporations right now are destroying the biosphere. Elon musk is building brain chips and others are working on robots that might destroy the world. The birth rate has plummetted and there is poison in the food. What is happening though?
Our prisons are full because they are sending petty drugdealers, homeless guys and guys who won't pay child support to prison. Cops are just shooting men and no one is defending our right to weapons. When women have them it's "empowering" but when our rights are taken away "well, that's a threat gone"
We are oppressed. I am oppressed because I am god, but other men are oppressed because just being a man supports god. 99% of all prisoners are men. Crimes that women routinely commit are not considered crimes.
Solving male problems like homelessness should be easy as there are endless empty buildings. However, no one will do this because that would show compassion towards men and would interfere with high rents for the worst men who are willing to accept the perks of the demon's system and authority which hold it all up.
I am honestly not sure who is worse, the Demon or the people because even in this system people can exercise free will and typically do so to degrade men for simply existing. They are not paid to do it, they just do it out of general antipathy. It's honestly pretty hard for one guy to equal billions of these hateful (including self-hating men) people.
Single mothers, bitter about the situation they are in pass on this hate and the system that goes along with it down to their children. Just because you have a few men at the top does not mean you don't live under female supremacy. Pornography to keep us constantly hungering for sex but not getting it is a big part of it too.
honestly, there is a good contingent of women who are doing a better job of sticking up for men than men themselves and that is partly due to the fear men have of speaking up but partly based on the fact that men don't want to do the right thing.
in general, animals get treated better than men.
Things like corporations and other corrupt institutions specifically exist because if they did not we would be living under the authority of people and that would mean accepting the authority of a man which is intolerable to most folks. They would rather live in the hellish world we see around us than accept a good man as a ruler or even worse accept a god as the moral center. Everything that was created is going to be destroyed because people
I could go on, but I have got the ball rolling here.

common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing
i have 2 answers to that. one endemic to the transformers fandom and one more specific to tfp.
the first, the original, the most pervasive... the geewunner. any time i see a new transformers thing and i scroll through the comments i'm always left astounded at these types. the sort who seem to have not watched g1 in the past 15-20 years and mostly remember the movie, who misremember g1 as being a much more meaty of a show than it actually is. the type to bring up optimus prime's dumb death in the original movie as some conversation ending zinger about the qualities of whatever new transformers thing is coming out as proof of hasbro always being sellouts. i want to study them under a microscope. i desperately want to ask them what they think g1 even is.
the tfp specific one is the case of 'the autobots should have trusted starscream' and its variants. i am a starscream redemption arc/token evil teammate lover but lmaooooo. tfp definitely treats the decepticons who consider going turncoat stupidly, i honestly have no idea how they intended to reconcile this with breakdown's aborted redemption arc. arcee maybe shouldn't have tried to kill basically a war prisoner, but, i support womens wrongs. optimus threatening starscream when he is, basically, disabled and harmless, is dumb. but the autobots don't trust him because he's not trustworthy. he is a shit. he is self serving. he is literally known primarily for being duplicitous and it's not ridiculous that they wouldn't exactly want to extend trust towards him, especially after the cliffjumper thing. 'being nice to him' is just not enough of a reason for me to believe he'd let go his 'sunk cost fallacy i hope you die i hope we both die' type behavior.
