Hey do you think that Felix kinda gaslighted Athanasia into giving Claude a chance since she was five? Like why is he encouraging this relationship with he knows that Claude abandoned her on purpose and he witnessed him almost kill her? And he was relying on her to "fix" Claude as if he was misunderstood.
And lily too, both kept pushing this idea onto Athanasia when she knew otherwise. I think this might have influence her decision in going back to him when Jennette had suggested she'd go.
I wouldn't call this gaslighting but his support of their relationship definitely influenced her decision to give Claude another chance. It's almost as if Felix cared more about Claude than Athy. Claude has done lots of things that Felix has been ignoring: torturing people, killing the concubines, killing his marriage candidates, killing a marquis for an alleged intimacy with the neighbouring Castorea (Side Story: I Became a Father One Day) threatening to kill others for daring to be annoying or boring. Sometimes Felix objects weakly but then Claude tells him to shut up and he does. Amazing that he doesn’t dare to go against Claude but expects it from child! Athy. Don’t get me wrong I like Felix but the fact that he let LP Athy be executed without a proper investigation and Lily killed alongside her leaves a bitter taste in my mouth especially when the manhwa lowkey ships Felix/Lily.
You could interpret it that way that Felix' top priority wasn't Athy reuniting with her family and having a healthy relationship with them but her healing the bruise Diana left on Claude's heart and the family thing was just a method to achieve that. In the Lovely Princess he was content with Jennette "healing" Claude and didn't make any big attempts to mediate between Claude and LP Athy although he was sad about the treatment she received. In the end it didn't matter who was fixing him.
This makes Felix look morally grey but c'mon the only other explanation I have is that he's stupidly naive which also doesn't fit with his Knight of Crimson blood persona. As Claude's guard and advisor he should be capable of recognizing a person's true nature. Claude never bothered to hide his ugly side from him. In LP Athy's own words Claude has always been cruelly honest from the start. Felix is just that devoted to his master. He was willing to risk Athy’s life to improve Claude’s well-being.
As for Lily: inconsistent character. No one in their right mind would want the child they raised in the same room as the man who murdered a dozen women in cold blood. Felix was friends with Claude and saw him in a good light but Lily was never that close to Claude. She has the worst impression of him, he kills everyone in the Ruby Palace, dumps a child on her and tells her if ever word about it gets out he kills everyone there, and then he appears again wants to play daddy and suddenly attempts to kill his daughter again lol wtf.
If Athy had a support system from the start that wouldn't encourage her to go back to her abuser she wouldn't have gone. Lucas offering to kill Claude doesn't count, he's basically Claude 02 anyway. Everyone she cared about is connected to Claude. If she was losing Claude she was going to lose the others too.

Usagi's age in TMNT 2003 is not confirmed
And actually, Usagi's age IN GENERAL is not confirmed. Miyamoto Usagi have no canon age, not even in the comics-
You assume he is and adult but mere subtext- and a lot of people who read the comics have our own hc with his age, but as a canon answer theres none-
I bring this topic to the table since I found someone on tiktok -again- saying that Miyamoto Usagi in TMNT 2003 was an adult and that's why they hated Leosagi- and putting this google answer as a prove to their point-
Tumblr media
This answer when you click it- it sends you to this tumblr page where is an anon who is making that claim-
I said, with all my respect- that is not a valid answer-
This is not an attack the account that has that post but mf google for putting that as an answer to the search- cuz people don't know Usagi as a character and are going to belive anything if it fits the narrative they want to create or try to justify that they don't like something-
Usagi in the crossover with TMNT 2003 is not the same from the comics- his story is also change to fit in the battle nexus arc-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HE LOOKS LIKE THIS 3 YEARS BEFORE EVEN KNOWING LEO- He don't have his daisho is this, he's literally fighting the shit he's using to carry the water or whatever he's carrying. They said he was IN TRAINING- and Usagi in training was a kid The topknot can be more of a branding thing but also can be a form to said he is not the tiniest Usagi you can get (?
When we see him later in the episode he don't have his scar-
Tumblr media
Is a really early Usagi and a lot of people don't get that- Or is not that they don't it because they need an excuse to not liking Leosagi but really-
You.Don't.Need.An.Excuse.To.Not-Like.A.Ship
Just- Just don't watch it???
Silence the f world for the gods sake-
Even if it is problematic you can just leave it there the shit is not killing your granma (?
You can make Leosagi problematic for a thousand and one reasons, but in this version, the one that has made the most effort to mix both universes and making a genuine friendship between Leo and Usagi with its good dose of homoeroticism, it's stupid to try to justify that you don't like it by saying that It's wrong when you don't need an excuse for it-
Sorry for my rant, I'm using this to make a tiktok cuz they need this the most (? I know Usagi's age had being a debate in here too but my gods I just need this (?

Who really follows after Nemesis?
It's interesting how most of Edelgard's detractors will insist she follows Nemesis's will, when...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If anything, it's Faerghus that takes after his warrior ethos. Hell, the blue cross-shape on Dimitri's plate armor post-skip even references the cross-shaped scar on the right side of Nemesis's chest.

ㅤㅤpink, low-rise tracksuit bottoms sit just below the curve of her swaying hips, the back of which was embezzled with the glistening juicy branding that her daughter called her trashy for wearing. honeyed spoon is trapped between her lips as she sucked off the golden remnants — one hand prepping her kettle to boil whilst the other carefully cradled her slice of toast, manicured fingertips resting against the crusts in an attempt to avoid stickiness. it's worth noting that she's only wearing a bra from the waist up — a pretty and black lacy number that matched the g-string that poked above the waistband of her sweats. but it's her day off, and there was no one else at home, and so she doesn't even worry when she hears footsteps behind her — still stood with her swaying back to the door as she took a bite from her toast, bending at the hip some as she reached over the counter to turn the radio down.
ㅤㅤ" i thought you'd already left for class, sweetheart? " metal clinks against metal as she tossed the spoon in the sink, cursing under her breath as the string of honey that formed between her lips and the remainder of her breakfast swung and fell against her upper torso. she spins on her heels, reaching out for a plate to place her breakfast down on before she's dropping it completely — startled at the sight of a six foot (minimum) model of a man in her kitchen, and not her daughter. " holy sh— sorry. " she's laughing as she apologised, cheeks reddening as she swallowed thickly. " hana's one night stand? hi, i'm hana's mum. did she not wake you up before she left for class? " her loss, she thinks — warm brown eyes greedily raking along his physique before settling on arguably the handsomest face she'd ever laid eyes on, causing her demeanour to soften a tad. " i'd offer to shake your hand but, i'm kinda sticky. "

I might be too queer to get the appeal, but I do have to wonder why so many straight women are convinced Persephone wanting to be the dutiful wife and mother to Hades' kids is somehow the real empowerment but Demeter's love and power to literally stop the world in its tracks and making two king gods bow to her demands to save her daughter ISN'T. It honestly feels like some sort of conservative psyop hidden behind a very thin "feminist" veneer.
it's very similar to the whole "wearing a full face of makeup is empowering if it's what you CHOOSE to do!" brand of feminism i think. i feel like the second you start challenging gender roles there's pushback from people who can't handle the idea of anyone wanting something different from what they want. i don't think it's a conservative psyop though i just think she didn't really examine it that much

my project actually has Secret Worldbuilding which is entirely about the new hyper specific internet discourse that shows up. I’ll give you one bit, there’s a lot of arguing about if being a furry is okay when some people have skills that actually make them appear as anthropomorphic animals. I have no reason to add this in but I just know that whatever equivalent to twitter they have that’d be crazy on there for a bit. None of this is plot relevant but it’s so funny. To me.

Felix's Route: Disability Through The Lens of Ableism (essay)
link in reblogs
preface: this is an open, civil discussion, and i welcome constructive criticism and input.
introduction:
In 2016, around the peak of the app Mystic Messenger, romance based visual novels became popular online. In this year, Nix Hydra launched their second app, The Arcana, a fantasy romance visual novel that, to this day (08.09.2022) is considered a household name of the otome game industry. Before this, Nix Hydra (NH in future references) had released an app about caring for a digital pet, but this game has been forgotten due to it’s irrelevance.
At the end of 2019, NH released their third app, Fictif. This is a library style app, and upon launch, consisted of 4 stories: Heir To Love And Lies, Two Against the World, Roadkill, and the app’s poster child, Last Legacy.
From the start, Last Legacy (LL for future references) stood out in terms of quality, and until the sellout to Dorian in 2022, remained the main attraction for new players. You play as a cosplayer, sucked into the world of their favorite game, with three love interests (LIs) to chose from.
According to a fanmade survey, LL remains the most popular story, with all it’s characters dominating character polls.
Despite the popularity of LL, the story was left unfinished when NH sold to Dorian, another visual novel company. LL currently has 13 chapters for Felix, 14 for Sage, 7 for Anisa. All LL characters are fairly evenly matched in terms of popularity, Sage—a catboy mercenary—was the most popular character initially, but as the story progressed Felix—the necromancer who summoned you—quickly gained a somewhat loyal fanbase.
This is thanks to many factors, including the themes of his route, the amount of lore revealed, as well as intriguing characters and dynamics (Rime, for example). Felix, to this day, has an incredibly active fanbase, with much fan content revolving around him and his route. Despite the somewhat simple to digest concept of LL as a whole, Felix’s route seems to stand out due to the complexity of it.
Felix’s route is about independence, gaining agency and harmful family dynamics, all of which are topics found in stories about disability, and all are areas disabled people in real life relate to heavily. Felix’s route is a story of disabled people, even though he hasn’t been confirmed to be himself. In this vein, it is a disabled story told from an ableist perspective. This essay will explain how this manifests.
(Spoilers for Felix’s route)

“The Kiwi Farms/Lockheed Martin doxxing situation is absolutely flooding my timeline.
I'm alarmed by the amount of people who fail to see that there is no good side in this.
The original harassment? Bad.
The job? Bad.
Using KF transphobic doxxing information? Bad.”

Do you regret the time you were an Adrien salter?
i mean yeah lol. like i regret pretty much everything i've said and done last month and the one before that too. i was immature (still am!) and i loved to complain about but i never hated adrien. i don't get the point in asking this since i only have strong opinions on felix at this point. like he's all i talk about. just for reference if you see any post i made less than 3 months ago i most likely disagree with it now. i have no sense of consistency

i do think i just processed that the reason i dislike approaching myth from a fanfiction perspective is that fanfiction often comes at a source material with the idea that there is one definitive version of the story, so fanfiction is either trying to fit itself into the definitive version of the story or it's saying "what if this happened instead" or "this isn't the definitive version of the story but i want to explore it anyway." and i love that kind of exploration but it doesn't work for something like myth where we have many sources and there are even more sources that we will never have and there's no definitive version of any story. mythical adaptations have to ask "what do i have to say about these ideas" or maybe "how would i tell this story today" but you can't come at it like there's a definitive canon.
