Sidlink BOTW AU where Sidon WANTS to fancy Link, but thinks Link will only like a Hylian, so Sidon tries to act Hylian around Link... except Sidon doesn't know much about Hylians.

Sidon just squatting and trying to act shorter around Link. Attempting to hide his sharp toothy grin and stop his tail from wagging. He's starting fires when trying to cook Hylian meals. Sidon putting on pants... incorrectly. It's really weird. Everyone in the domain is thinking the Prince is having a midlife crisis.

Sidon IS having a crisis, but it's a gay panic one.

But unbeknownst to Sidon, Link has fallen for these Zora quips. The smile Sidon flashes makes Link lose his train of thought... the way Sidon's tail wags makes Link flustered. When Sidon shook Link's hand with his two smothering strong ones, Link felt dizzy. Link is missing these quirks Sidon would show, so Link is determined to see them again!

When Link and Sidon are alone in Zora's Domain, Link purposely tells a funny story to the Prince. One he KNOWS will get him to laugh. But when Sidon turns his face from Link to "keep cool", Link gets frustrated. He grabs onto the fishy prince's face, asking him WHY Sidon is acting so differently. Sidon tries to deflect such a notion, but Link calls Sidon out on all the weird things he's been noticing... especially the pants.

Sidon cracks under the gaze of this Hylian! Link not only sees right through Sidon's changes, but Link seems to DISLIKE them, too! Sidon is embarrassed, and he deflates from the realization that Link doesn't like the prince. Sidon refuses to look at Link as he tells Link half the truth, that he wanted to be Link's... FRIEND. That he thought Link wouldn't want to be with... well FRIENDS with... a Zora. Link pauses, as he KNOWS that Sidon knows about he and Mipha's friendship, so something STILL feels off. It isn't until he notices Sidon's blushing that he understands what is truly being said.

After Link makes sure Sidon looks into his eyes, Link reassures Sidon that the things he likes about Sidon are what are truly him. His heroic grin, his playful tail wags. His champion-like swimming abilities. That Link enjoys Sidon. That he wants to SEE Sidon... all of him. Quickly, though, after Sidon lets out a flustered wheeze, Link realizes how his words came across, stating he just meant for Sidon to take off the pants! Sidon wheezes louder. Link gets more embarrassed and tries to explain he just meant Zora don't wear pants, so he'd want to see Sidon without-

It's great. They're great. They're trying.

It takes a bit more time after this convo, cause clearly the two are terrible with communication, but they reveal their romantic interests.

And they burn that infamous pair of pants.

ok but obi-wan as the twins’ fun uncle figure who is also anakin’s bff and is also a bit of an asshole so he bought the twins very loud drum sets when they were toddlers and very brightly colored toys that have a lot of little parts that anakin has to put together and other toys that make the most obnoxious sounds but the twins love their uncle obi so they love all the stuff he gets them......

you face him and bring the blanket up to your neck and your cheeks and just sigh, and then when the lights shut off, bakugou is just staring into the darkness of the room with his heart beating out of his chest 🥺 bc this is so hard for him !!! 🥺 but eventually he can tell sero and mina are in the bed next to his, sucking face, and so he has to turn around bc he can't stand it — and then he's nearly nose to nose with you !!

and in such close proximity, he can make out the details of your face, your nose, the wide whiteness of your eyes, and he wonders if you can feel the heat from his face.

"hi," you whisper, and he can see the curve of your smile like this, can taste the sweetness to it. "sorry if i end up touching you all night."

he frowns and hopes you can't see it, insecurities swirling in his throat. already, you've caught onto how prickly he is and he's gonna have to really try to keep you, open himself right up in front of everyone—

bakugou shrugs, feels you shift because of it. "do what you want, i don't care."

you're quiet for long enough that he starts to think about sleeping outside, because he's an idiot, but then you say, "okay," and turn your back to him — and he's ruined it, he thinks, already.

but then he can feel you inching towards him, pressing your back up to his chest, your hair right in front of his nose, the sweet smell of your shampoo flipping his stomach.

you speak over your shoulder, cheek brushing his chin. "i'm really glad you picked me."

for a moment, he forgets that he's sealed away from the world, on live television, and only thinks about your warmth, your possibility and potential, and then he gingerly wraps his arm over your waist. "me too."

(i think in the morning, you've both shifted in your sleep; you having rolled on your stomach, leg kicked out to your left, cheek sunk into your pillows — but bakugou is still facing your sprawled form, arm still around your waist, the tips of his fingers tucked under the shirt that's ridden up your stomach. it's not much, but — it's the start of something.)

Raph is up and out of the lair practically before you finish your sentence, grabbing his sweatshirt if it’s daytime. Doesn’t think about Leo’s portals, doesn’t think about the Turtle Tank or the Shell Hogs, just runs. He is on the phone with you the whole time he’s on his way, asking if you need him to pick anything up. He tries to ask what’s wrong, but you just sniffle, so he doesn’t push it. It’s quiet until he lands on your fire escape and hangs up. The second he’s in your apartment you’re in his arms. “It’s okay sweetheart, Raph’s got ya.” He lets you do whatever you need to do, cry or beat on him or pace, but he’s touching you the whole time. He’ll get a little upset if you don’t want to tell him what’s wrong but he will also get over it because he understands. Holds you all night long for like a week afterwards, to protect you.

Leo- Shing

He is already in your apartment, hanging up his phone while the portal closes behind him. “Hey, hey, what’s wrong hermosa?” He grabs you and tangles you with him on the couch, until there’s no telling where you end and he starts. He wants to talk about it. But he will ramble on about whatever pops into his head while stroking your back until you calm down. Once you’ve calmed down though, he will coax it out of you. If it’s something that he can fix, it gets fixed immediately and with extreme prejudice. If it’s not something he can fix, prepare to be pampered. This turtle will worship the ground you walk on when you let him.

Donnie- Click

Hopefully you’ve been around long enough to understand how Donnie works, because he did not just hang up on you because he doesn’t care. He proves that by showing up at your apartment a bit later with your favorite takeout, favorite candy, a giant cat plush, and your favorite movie. He’ll let you do whatever you need to do while you watch the movie, whether that’s curl up on his chest, lay your head on his lap, or cuddle with the cat plush on the other side of the couch. (He might get a little jealous of the plush if you choose the last option, but he won’t say anything. Yet.) After the movie, he’ll tell you that he’s willing to listen if you need to talk. You need to be careful though, because if he finds out someone hurt you, it’s jover. No more Mr. Nice Donnie.

Mikey- “Leeeeo-” Click

Mikey tumbles through the portal and promptly bundles you up in a blanket and sets you on the couch. He bustles to the kitchen, chattering at you while he makes tea and whips up something quick to eat. he sets it down on the coffee table and then starts hand feeding you, still chattering away. once the food and tea are gone, he pulls you into him, blanket and all, then asks what’s wrong. he’ll listen, he’ll give advice, he’ll sit in silence with you, whatever you need. he won’t leave though, not even if a mission comes and his brothers need him, not until he’s made you laugh. it doesn’t take all that long, he’s got a talent for it. he stays a few extra days anyway, just because he missed you (and to make absolutely sure you’re okay now).
