guys i just watched episode 5 of the pjo show (ik i'm late, my brother and i watch it together and we've both been busy)

and i think it's my favorite episode so far so here's an incomplete list of things i loved about it

Hi! hope you don't mind this ask, I keep thinking about your post on episode 7 and can't get it out of my head, specifically this part:

"He did it for Tim. He chose to be the man Tim challenged him to be. It's tragic, heartbreaking and beautiful. He chose to be the version of himself that Tim could still love."

This is so true and you've put it so beautifully, the post made me tear up when I first read it. Hawk got clean because he wanted to be the version of himself that Tim could still love, even if Tim never wants to see him again (he believes), and in this way, Tim's love for Hawk saves him. And by making this choice, Hawk's love for Tim proves stronger than his own self-hatred and guilt, and I think all of that is beautiful.

OMG I need people to understand how brilliant a penultimate episode this was! It set up everything, including the Hawk we meet in episode one. I know there are people who have an issue with it, specifically the Craig of it all, but the way he was used in the episode was genius. He basically functioned as a talking fleshlight. Their threesome scene was not a threesome, Hawk looked at Tim the entire time. Begging him over and over again to stay with him. It was insane.

Their entire Fire Island romp is a result of their fight, when Hawk tells him he likes Craig because, unlike Tim, he doesn't judge him. Tim gives him that day and night to show him that he doesn't judge those parts of Hawk. He can accept those things and still love him. What he cannot accept and live with is Hawk abandoning the family and life he chose, right or wrong, when they need him most. Their poolside heart to heart, which had me bawling, was a truly perfect scene. Tim knows that he doesn't physically have Hawk but every other part of Hawk belongs to him. Every part of Hawk that is true belongs to him.

Their fight the next morning sets up the entire thing. Tim tells him he can't do it anymore and refuses to help him or watch him kill himself. He tells him he needs to finally be free of him. Yes Hawk begs him not to go but he doesn't go after him. He gives him his freedom. He goes home and becomes the husband, father and grandfather we meet in episode one. He became the man Tim wanted him to be. When they parted ways in the 50's Hawk kept tabs on him. It's how he knew where he was in the 60's. It was the same when Tim was released from prison, Hawk kept tabs on him, that's how he knew how to contact him in the 70's. But when Marcus shows up at his house in the present day, Hawk doesn't know where Tim is. He didn't keep tabs on him. He gave him his freedom. He loved him enough to let him go.

I think most of us have had a pretty good idea of how Tim will pass in the final episode, but episode 7 pretty much confirmed it for me. Tim told Hawk he refused to help him or watch him kill himself. He loves him too much to do that. In episode 8 we will get the opposite. Hawk will love Tim enough to help him die. He will love Tim enough to set him free one last time. This has been beautifully and brilliantly set up. The final scene of episode 7 broke me. Episode 8 will end me. 💔

Somehow, even though I haven't watched in years - and am 0% tempted to tonight - I've still got this tiny sliver of anxiety about the ending of The Blacklist. Is that crazy? It's like I know they can't possibly wrap up the story in a way I'll be happy or satisfied with (and after the 8th season I mostly gave up caring about what happens in "canon")...and yet I'm sure when I hear about what happened in the finale it's going to feel like one last, poorly written gut punch.

Hiya, anon ❤️ Ugh, can I just say that you summed up my tangle of feelings absolutely perfectly? 🥺 More specifically, no, that is not crazy at all. I am in the same place as you with not caring about any of it anymore - not since 8.22 ripped my fucking heart out - & I literally can't think of anything I'd like to do less than watch the series finale. But even in the years since 8.22, there was still that awareness that the show was still out there somewhere, even if I only heard drips & drabs, & I scoffed at it all, & I didn't give a tiny rat's ass what happened. And while that remains true, the fact that it's OFFICIALLY ending (despite the fact that it ended for us two years ago) is... a little sobering. For me, I think it's a reminder of the pain & grief of The Terrible Awful™️ 😓

Also, yes, anon, I completely understand the sliver of anxiety & dread... I felt the same thing when I heard that they were finally blessedly cancelled & again when I realized the last ep was coming up... I can only speak for myself, but I think it's bc I still care at least a little about Red &, deep down, I still want a happy ending for him, even though I fully believe he can't have one without Liz. But I have zero faith in TPTB & I'm sure they will make it a nebulous, "cool" ending with no real answers, like always, or they'll confirm godforsaken R*darina, or they'll just kill off Red because they're incapable of writing anything else. And I'm sure every other aspect of it will be disappointing, like Ressler being the hero or something (LMFAO) & it will be awful all around. I have no other expectations & I suppose I have to either accept it and/or ignore whatever happens AND/OR consider it all a crap AU & Lizzington as our canon. But the way you describe it, "one last, poorly written gut punch", perfectly describes how I feel. I tell myself that none of it matters anymore - it's not like we're getting a Lizzington ending lolz - but I think I'm just afraid of being hurt again bc, for all my posturing, I know TPTB still have the power to do that, simply bc I still care just a tiny bit. Despite all the heartbreak I've already felt... a little remains of the show, the characters, & my heart for them to destroy 💔

Idk if that made any sense at all, anon, but I hope I communicated at least 3 things: 1) you're not alone in the way you feel, 2) the ending will probably hurt & ache & betray in just the way we're afraid of, & 3) we simply have to deal with the residual hurt, know that TPTB failed us & it's not our fault, &... cherish what we had by holding our Lizzington AU close to our hearts & keeping them alive through fanfic... at least, that's what I plan on doing. Yes, I know. I don't feel that emptiness yet because I still have so much to catch up on but I know the feeling. Actually, I usually feel like that when an album drops and I listen to all the songs, watch the mv and then it hits me... Now what? Like I have been waiting for this, I was hyped for this with promo and teasers, and then it drops, I listen to it, and then... Then what. Obviously the promo starts again/continues but during those few hours between the album dropping and the first next promotion, I do feel that emptiness. Especially with a bias, it would feel a bit different I think? I was the most excited for Jimin since he is THE™ bias for me, and that emptiness really hit me after I listened to everything. I imagine that's also why you might feel like this? And it's not pathetic <3 I think it's nice that you find your source of happiness in them, and that they can make your day better <3 They do the same for me and I'm always so grateful that even on the days when I'm either crying or want to cry all day because of my anxiety or chronic headaches, they can still make me smile and feel a bit better.

Someone on twitter said the same thing, that it'll be bts vs bts and there was a reply that they are not even gonna be at award shows because they'll all be in military and I was like BOO 😭😭 stop reminding us of that. 💔

I ordered my album through a group order because I will not be paying for weverse shipping 😭 so I obviously couldn't apply for the raffle since I wasn't the one ordering, but I told my sister that even if I could apply and even if I won, I still wouldn't call him 😭 Like Jimin I love you to the moon and back but I will not be getting on a phone call with you. I wouldn't even know how to act, let alone what to say. 😭

Oh no why would you read the lyrics too 😭😭😭 Jimin truly deserves everything. And I will ever understand people who campaign for more more more. We always see just how fucking much they work for everything. He's literally lying on the practice room floor... It breaks my heart every time he talks about his muscle pain, which he had again during the dance practice... I will never forget that conversation between him and his trainer/medical person in one of the docus... As long as he is in this line of work, he will continue to have these problems. And it just breaks my heart because Jimin is a * dancer *. And his body can't handle him being a dancer. And I will never get over this, because one day he will have to say that it's too much for him, one day even he has to admit that he can't do it anymore. And I'm terrified that it's going to be sooner than he would like to admit it. I really don't want to sound like those people who always pretend to know what's best for them and manage them... I just really really feel bad for him every time he talks about this. He lived with this condition for years, and it'll probably get worse and I just hate it. He is a dancer with a body that can't handle dancing.

Anyway I didn't want to make myself sad but I always do akandndjsns at least I got Jikook holding hands for 13 hours today 💔 So yeah, I just wanted to say that he already works a LOT. And we know Jimin, he always gives his 613%. And that is exactly why he deserves every single praise and award and achievement. And hopefully more of those will come in the future 💜

For me I think that part is the most exciting because I keep listening to the songs and keep getting to know the song more (melody, lyrics, adlibs, etc) and then read the theories and see people point out some part of the song that they thought was so good and then to listen to the song and pay more attention to the part that the person mentioned, all of that small stuff, it makes me feel really excited. It's the time after when everything's over that I feel empty. So yeah like it can be different for every one. After Yoongi's album drops we dive straight into the tour a week later so I'm really glad that I'll have something to hang onto. I really really hope they have atleast one day for online streaming because I NEEEEED to see him one way or another 😭😭😭😭😭 I hope they have the show on 29th livestreamed because that'll be a holiday for me 😭 pls manifest ok? 😭 oh and same, although this has happened a lot of times now but last year I was just about to have a huge breakdown because of something at work and I was super anxious and on the verge of a horrible breakdown but jimin posted the picture that is my icon now and just like that I was smiling and my anxiety reduced by a LOT not even kidding 😭

Anyway, it was cute. It went by so fast- specifically the kiss scene.

Honestly, Marinette blowing up at Alya over Cat Noir was a lot to take in. Though I thought it was so sweet how Alya and Tikki talked and then she was like let's just go up there and tell Marinetta that we love her, because yeah it could turn out bad- but like what's the worst that could happen? (the world being destroyed, but okay, lol)

Overall, it feels like a lot of the other super shippy kiss scenes or episodes where there's been progress, but not a lot of progress...but it is a lot of progress. It's neat ig, they say they don't love that person still (but they do), but now it's like they have to learn how to love healthily which can be a struggle because crushes can make you feel crazy and obsessive and keeping who you are and keeping that relationship with them level is hard to do. They'll figure it out, I have faith in them. They've gotten this far.

I just don't know how they're going to go about having Adrien and Marinette get together and then Ladynoir... Like, I don't know obviously they'd be in a relationship, so they wouldn't really... they can't cheat on each other. So eventually they'll have to reveal who they are if they want to have like a double-sided relationship, but I can see it being Adrienette relationship and Ladynoir not knowing that they're dating behind their masks which is pretty cute.

I'm okay with anything honestly, as long as they're happy. I just want them to be happy. But anyway, the kiss was so cute and so soft and I thought it was just the sweetest thing but Marinette blowing up on Alya- oh my gosh.. & that whole first part when Adrien showing up at the Bakery and being ignored hurt my heart 💔 and I just don't want anymore of that cringe-worthy stuttering. The last thing I want is for them both to turn into a bumbling mess on the floor that was Adrienette for the first four seasons... but I doubt it can be avoided. Unless they avoid each other and I just don't need that, lol

Also not going to lie I used to watch anime subbed online all the time and it was not nearly as hard as it was to watch Miraculous. I don't know how many times I had to try and start that video, but it was ridiculous. And the ads that popped up during the video were awful and whenever I wanted to go back to reread the subtitles it would open another ad so then I would miss part of it... It was a struggle, lol

Yess of course🤭 happy to help fuel the fire for Milo’s characters😮‍💨 And exactly!! Kirby is the movie geek of Scream. no contest. I genuinely like that she fits the role but is also her own character in other ways. She pursues a (fake) love interest, we see her house and her personality as a movie geek is tested (and she is proven to be wrong towards the end.) Which is muchhh different than randy who felt like this invincible God at times, helping Sidney with his over the top knowledge of the movies (even more so when he literally goes with her to college and all). Plus, he’s so intense about them that it’s almost comedic. Yeah, her and Anika’s relationship was definitely good in 6, I just wish they didn’t use Anika as one of the only “major” deaths of that movie😭 I totally agree with Chad, he survived these major bleed outs and gets stabbed so much, yet Dewey was stabbed less and to a lesser severity and died?? Insane.

Exactly! I kind of saw it in Wally because it��s supposed to be a mystery and there are times where he feels almost apathetic to Maddy’s issues, especially when she’s so concerned with the human world that she forgets about him and the rest of the ghosts. I like that they didn’t make him the “villain” (since they’re multiple) but there were layers there that could be expanded in his other roles. I can’t wait to see him finally act as one🫣 maybe in a thanksgiving sequel… one day.. I’ll watch It’s a Wonderful Knife first then!! Exactly, Tommy > Eddie just saying. I found him to be more interesting and having better, hotter dynamics with Steve and Billy over Eddie. Honestly, Saw I has the worst rewatch ability out of any Saw movie because it’s not a fun gorefest like Saw II and beyond, and the twist isn’t really all that crazy after you know what it is. It ends up feeling boring but I can appreciate it🫡 Jigsaw being last is so real. It had potential going into it but the twists suck and the first guy “dying” in that room with the buckets on their heads and the saws made me realize I was going to have some sort of problem with it.

Yesss and it feels like less work went into developing the characters in TQ (even though Jacob is my favorite for being the most flawed of the bunch), there isn’t the same level of quality that UD has. Presentation-wise, it’s better and I found less technical glitches during my multiple playthroughs of the quarry, but yeah… still feels really flat. Yes ugh i hate that “reader” is synonymous with White/straight/female (usually those three specifically) and anything else needs specification. It’s weird that POC in general (or the race) needs to be specified regarding the reader but White doesn’t… i just wish reader could mean that anyone from any background could read it fr

Right ??? Every single ship on tvd had something even the ones I didn't like you could see why they could be great, like almost all of them had top tier romantic moments like it's crazy that I shipped Caroline with Matt and then Tyler and then Klaus and then Stefan and same for everyone else, everytime they had people in a romantic arc I was here for it, granted the ending was a mess but still idk how they managed to give us like 50 couples people hardcore shipped. And now ships can't even do one single ship right???? You're right nancy drew was the best thing left on the cw but all American, Kung Fu superman and Lois are all pretty fun. There is no one that does good romance like the cw they understand the assignment, I mean who even has enough time to do it anymore, 90% of shows can't even get past season 2 and if they do the entire thing is over in 24 episodes which is what used to be a regular season used for set up. The tv industry is imploding on itself and it's only gonna get so much worse.

Literally!! No one ships like Matt and Caroline NOW, but even they had some genuinely cute moments. I actively shipped Caroline with Tyler, Klaus and Stefan all at different moments. Every romantic arc with the exception of maybe one or two like Carolaric had something I genuinely enjoyed or was invested in. And that’s why tvd will always be one of my comfort shows. I still don’t know what happened on legacies in comparison because that should’ve been ship central and I felt next to nothing for all of the options.

I forgot about All American! I did watch a bit of S1 for that and was enjoying it. I need to go back and finish it at some point. And I watched a few episodes of Kung Fu as well/enjoyed it well enough to where I’d be willing to continue it eventually. It just isn’t on Netflix so that’s kinda why I fell off with that one.

In conclusion. I want to keep the cw 💔

#the ships felt a little eh in kung fu but I have no idea what’s going on now #I do realize tvd was more focused on romance than a lot of shows but there is no reason romantic arcs should feel lifeless in anything #tvd #ask

FICTIONAL NOVEL

Revising my last story, I don't like it.

It's the fourth day since the funeral and hope was suffering 💔 she had a severe broken heart 💔 and cuts and bruises everywhere.

All she's done is cry and cry since Vince died. It was 9 am and max walked into the door of her office with the biggest grin on his face .

Hope max said, hope looks up and she looks like crap. Red swollen eyes and her hair barely brushed.

Still wearing her pj's and Robe, she sees Vince standing there with max and she is literally about to pass out from the shock of seeing a dead man in front of her.

Every thing was going Grey and she was getting Dizzy and she started falling and max hurried to catch hope.

He sits her down on the couch in her office. Max sent for a wet towel and he padded her forehead to bring her back around.

She opens her eyes and Vince with a broken leg on cruches hobbled to her and sat beside her and taking her hand saying, I know that you have been through hell the past several days and I am sorry.

I was thrown from the car too and I landed in the tall bushes and I can't explain anything. Max showed me how the driver side door was slammed shut .

All I know is that we are exiting and the sun blinds me and the street is wet and it was Wednesday morning and I wake up Thursday night on the side of the highway.

I walked till someone gave me a ride to the hospital and they dropped me off at the ER.

They seen how much dry blood was all over me and rushed me into the exam room and cleaned me up and x-rays was ordered from head to toe.

I have been in the hospital since and I kept trying to call the only number that I could remember.

I just rely on the cell phone to know what I need to know.

I kept getting the last 2 digits mixed up and finally the nurse tried calling max and turned the last 2 numbers around and he answered and the nurse introduced herself to max about 2 hours ago.

Miss hope, I was driving and I ran to the nearest man's store and bought Vince a new outfit to leave the hospital in.

Vince steadily watching hope and suddenly hope grabs Vince and said I don't give a damn who knows it but I love you Vince and I almost lost my mind when I thought I watched you burn alive in the car.

Vince my mind was all kinds of fucked up because I truly believed that I lost the love of my life.

You can't go and die on me ever again do you hear me Vince asked hope?

Yes said, Vince and I promise to be more careful when we are going anywhere again.

Vince it was not your fault, the road was really wet and the sun.

You were wearing sunglasses, driving a little under the speed limit to prevent the car wreck.

Things happen and for what reason no one knows.

Max, hope asked, will you please close the office door and send for the girls and Lilly please?

Hope wraps her bruised arms around Vince neck and kissed him and held him very tight.

Vince seen she was still wearing her engagement ring and he was very happy.

Vince held hope and kissing her back and hope started laughing and said remember you purposed To me and I said yes? Yes said Vince, well I want us to just get married asap.

When, now asked Vince? You need time to buy that special wedding dress and more he said.

I don't think like that anymore, I almost lost you and I didn't get to be your wife yet.

Let's just get married here tonight and Lilly can fix my face with makeup and your still beautiful.

Well the x-ray says I have a concussion on the back of my head and a good size one at that.

See, as he pointed to the bandages wrapped around his head.

Oh, damn I am sorry, we can wait to get married for a while.

Vince said, hell no, I will make a few phone calls and have the jp bring everyone here.

I think about 8 pm tonight, OK then Vince said. Suddenly busting through the office door came the girls and Lilly and they stopped and frozen from shock of surprise.

Hope said, explained everything to the girls and Lilly and the kids were climbing up on Vince and kissing his cheek and hugging him.

Your home the girls said, yes babies I am home and I am not going anywhere again.

Vince smiled and said girls, I have to ask you 2 a big important question about some very important.

What Vince they both squirming asked?

Well see, I want your permission to marry your mom here in the house tonight. So, what do you think about me marrying your momma?

Yes, they both yelled with excitement and the girls looked at each other and they said, will you be our daddy then?

After you marry mommy they asked Vince?

Yes of course it is, we're going to have a daddy they danced around the office and out the door telling the entire staff about their new danddy Vince.

Max hope called out for and he said, yes ma'am miss hope.

Will you please notify whoever it is about Vince being alive in the hospital and see how fast they can bring him back from the dead please.

Plus, please have Lilly to watch the girls the rest of the day because we're going to take a long nap and Vince needs to make a few phone calls because we're getting married here in the house tonight.

Yes, sir said Vince and we need both need some serious beauty sleep before we can get married tonight.

Ok, I will take care of everything don't worry about anything said max.

Thank you both Vince and hope said and they went to the elevator they had installed before hope moved in because of the kids.

They were to damn sore for the stairs.

They crawled in hopes bed clothes and all, till we're married I don't want aNY little kids walking in here and seeing anything that isn't morally right.

They hugged up and slept and set the alarm for 5pm.

This gives them 3 hours to be slow to get ready. 5pm came to fast and they were moving as fast as they could and they showered and locked the bedroom door and got dressed and quickly un locked the bathroom door again.

Lilly helped hope with covering up cuts and burises with make up.

Max, put a fresh bandage on Vince head but only on the back of his head this time.

They had the cooks to cook up something special and ordered a small wedding cake and shampain.

Just the staff and kids and all bodyguards were at their wedding.

The justice of the peace married them and they exchanged rings and hope had max to buy her ring for Vince.

The justice of the peace pronounced them husband and wife and Vince kissed her.

He smiled as she signed the marriage certificate like he did.

Vince said, see you did not have to shoot me in the leg for me to marry you lol.

Inside joke Vince told her justice of the peace.

Very well then, he said, as he gathered the papers he said, I will be on my way.

I never married a dead man before said laughingly to Vince and hope.

He opened the door and he was gone and the girls ran to Vince and said, we have our new daddy and Vince hugged them and kissing their little faces all over the cheeks.

Hope is stupid happy and they were tired and they sat in the family room with the girls and Lilly and max and visited for several hours.

Midnight came along and the girls were passed out on Vince and hope and max and Lilly both carried the girls to bed and Vince and hope went to their room now.

House is quite and it was sweet dreams for everyone.

little did the demon know she was always prepared so as soon as the demon tried to prey on her, yoriichi rushed towards it but she already sliced it's neck off at an inhuman speed

if yoriichi hadn't had such a practiced eye he would've missed how you pulled out the hidden blade from the water and aim and swung flawlessly at the beast

"b-but how?!" the beast would be paralyzed slowly disintegrating as he watched you emerge out of the water completely naked

"because you're just a beast who's blinded by bloodlust, and i am a human who slays the beast to end this vicious cycle." she replied fixing her hair pin on the top her head that held her hair back as she stood over them. their eyes shaking as their dismembered body quaked even as they disappeared into the winter gust.

yoriichi's eyes were wide. not by the sight of her unveiled body, but at how clean her cut was. she must've been a finely tuned demon slayer.

"do you always wait on beasts as an oblivious damsel?" his voice smooth as ice cutting into the frigid air. he showed no signs of any shock that he may have had earlier.

yoriichi never got cold either as he had the sun running through his veins day and night.

he looked away from her bare form to the snow covered trees. their frosted breaths mingling with the air.

"it's a favorite past time of mine." she replied as she sunk back into the warm water. "you're free to join me."

yoriichi had no interest in joining her in the hot springs, but he did have an interest in being in the hot springs.

he actually had gone this way to get to there because he wanted to be able to relax and it had been his secret for a small time coming now, but alas it is no longer a secret since another mysterious woman has claimed it for her own. at least she was making use of herself with it.

"i only came here for the hot springs." he replied in an even tone as he peeled off his haori and kimono. she turned her head away as he unclothed himself as if she were any modest herself.

she only turned to face him again when she saw in her perpherial that his lower half was sunken into the steaming water.

his hair was unraveled laying against his broad back, shoulders and chest and he closed his eyes as he completely submerged himself. the only thing above the water was his head and his hair was floating above the surface.

she watched in awe as she's never seen a man of his stature before. demon slayers were usually so young and fragile and falling into preemptive deaths.

intrusive thoughts began to linger as she watched him but he paid her no mind.

not that he thought she was a woman of the night and demon slayer by day, but it had only been some years since his wife and unborn had been slaughtered by a demon so romance wasn't at the top of his list

still, though. even being bare with another woman in the same body of water made him feel somewhat guilty

he pushed down the feeling. "are you going to keep gawking at me?"

she felt taken back by his sudden brashness, though it wasn't brash to yoriichi. that's just how he spoke. blunt and straight forward.

her face feeling warmer as she struggled to speak. was it the hot spring getting to her? "that-that wasn't my intention."

he stayed silent for a moment letting the warmth of the water reaching his aching joints. "don't waste your time on me. i am simply a man of no worth, just a vessel put on this earth who's objective is to make up for mistake of not eradicating muzan."

her interest piqued at the name. "muzan you say?"

"yes, he is the father of demons."

"i'm aware. you've met him before?"

yoriichi remained silent. anger bubbling within him remembering the last meeting he had with that vile creature. he should've cut him down where he stood forever, but alas Kami had something different in mind.

"long ago. i almost landed a fatal blow, but it was not enough." yoriichi wanted nothing more than to submerge his head under the water, but he had his duty as a demon slayer.

"y-you're yoriichi tsugikuni?!" she stammered. she felt starstruck just now. it's not like they had posters of him to know who he was, but she could tell from the moment she felt his energy materialize that he was of a high caliber. dare she say even higher than her.

she didn't realize that he form swayed towards him in excitement and envy, until he inched back. "oh, forgive me."

she suddenly felt naked and crestfallen.

"no need to apologize." he murmured as he closed his eyes.

she felt almost mortified and revolted by her shameless behavior. she had heard the news about his wife and unborn being massacred some few years ago and now being in front of the man himself and letting him see her in all her naked glory.

"i should leave." she suddenly said trying her best to cover herself as she got out of the water and reached for her hakama and kimono.

"so, you're aware." definitely not even a question. he knew that she knew by her abrupt chagrin expression.

she froze in her tracks and let out a shaky breath as she fixed her kimono. "you may say that you are a man of no worth, but to me you are a man of honor. i feel, dare i say, ashamed of my actions towards a man of your caliber and hardships. i cannot in good conscious stay here with a widowed man in grief over his dead unborn child and wife."

maybe, he misjudged her.

"there's no need for that. it was a long time ago."

it infuriated her how emotionless he was being. "and so was muzan and yet the fire in your eyes burns with an intensity when you speak about him. i suggest you do your part in mourning your family a little longer."

yoriichi was a patient man. much more patient than the average man, the average human.

"i mourned the death of my wife and child for ten days. i never moved for any sustenance. do i think that's enough? no. nothing could ever measure the amount of mourning i could do for them. i have a duty to protect the helpless as do you, demon slayer."

she clamped her mouth shut. God, she was truly making a fool out of herself. "i--"

"there's nothing more you can say. what's done is done. life is ever moving."

everything stood motionless as the snow began to fall. yoriichi's prestigious figure and [name's] form stood there unmoving.

if he hadn't honed his skills beyond human limits, he wouldn't have heard the ever so slight change in the atmosphere which was her leaving. and another thing. it was a feeling of sorrow.

"she felt sorry for me... forgive me, uta." he whispered to himself. a tear emanated from the corner of his eye and slipped under his chin and into the water. he watched as it rippled and then it was gone.

just as uta was a ripple in his life and now she was no longer. shame, he only felt shame as he closed his eyes and then brought himself to face the sky.

he convinced himself that it was nothing.

a certain rescue horse with a prosthetic leg immediately caught his eye. he won't tell you, (nor does he have to), but they're the best of friends!

you will eventually have to explain to him that he can't stand on horses instead of riding them the standard way.

whenever you're too tired, he is absolutely READY to help you clean the stables! (to an extent.)

killua won't hesitate to use a bit of threatening to help you save horses from negligent owners.

illumi zoldyck!

"but.. why? they are creatures of the wild. if they cannot fend for themselves, nature should take it's course."

illumi didn't really understand why you'd spend so much time caring for animals. they can't even talk to you!

he makes sure that you and your equestrian friends have the best conditions that money can buy anyway

the zoldyck's were taught many activities including horseback riding at a young age, so he was ready to get down to business

illumi quickly realized that these horses were different. they had a healthy weight, a beautiful coat, and always nuzzled closer when you hugged them.

"is this your nen ability? turning them into your loyal servants?"

"illumi, no.. i just showed them some well deserved love and care!"

the cutest newbie ever! chrollo never felt the need to learn how to ride a horse. who needs that when you can steal a sports car?

he learns pretty quickly due to his intelligence and immediately takes it up as a hobby.

loves dark horses, specifically stallions and shires!

steals a horse for you. please, stop him. im begging you. he's willing to bring an entire herd for you. it'll be a horse-nado.

will take an hour to get ready just to come horseback riding with you. all of your students love him! (they also have no idea that he's a wanted criminal.)

hisoka morrow!

hisoka buys you two matching riding outfits. it is simply not up for discussion!

he enjoys watching you ride horses, it's entertaining to see you be so in control with the horse's movements.

hisoka's favorite part about helping you out is grooming the horses and ponies.

he once compared a horse with long black hair to illumi. he was not amused.

you have your thing, he understands that, but hisoka will immediately get jealous if he realizes that you're spending more time with your horses than him.

"hisoka, are you seriously getting jealous over of a horse?"

"you don't play with my hair the same way you at with theirs, darling. i haven't gotten any affection from you in ten minutes!"

LEY HONEY!!! I’ve been putting off sending something for some hours now cause every time I think of something, I see someone else asked it or mentioned it and my questions are answered aisknfjd BUT NEVERTHELESS I HAVE SOME THINGS I WANNA SAY

1. I wanna thank you for making this sugar daddy Levi as he now just haunts my mind 24/7 alongside Liv’s percolate Levi and have combined together when I think about my fwb who reminds me so much of Levi to begin with?? like this is all my stupid little mind can think about and both of you spoon feed it repeatedly and it doesn’t help that this little fwb of mine decided he wanted to give a relationship a try because it’s me ?? LIKE SOME OF THE THINGS HE SAYS I SAEAR IVE READ THEM IN BOTH OF YALLS FICS AND I CANT HELP BIT THINK “does he read them too? or does he listen to me so well when I talk to him about these fics because he actually cares??” OTS UNHEALTHY HOW MY THOUGHTS ARE JUMBLED UP AT THE MOMENT BECAUSE OF THIS (sorry for this little rant, I had to get it out)

2. Now for the good part, HOLY SHIT LEy the TALKING OF THE TOYS ??? If you do one of those where he has full control of it and they’re somewhere like say the event that he was going to ask her to join him to (was it a ball of sorts?? I already forgot!!) but I’m just thinking of them doing this there and him watching her lose her mind while she’s trying to manage a conversation with maybe Erwin or even Hange or just anyone!! and he’s watching from afar until she just excuses herself and he follows in pursuit and when he catches up to her tells her something like, “who said you could just leave when I’m having fun?” (IDK MY MIND ISNT GREAT AT THINKINN OF LEVI THIS WAY BUT I CANT STOP THEM)

3. If it is someone else who said hello upon answering the phone call, i won’t hate you and I’m sure none of us will (it’s your story, you do with what you will!!) BUT OMG THE AGONY ILNGOING TO FEEL !!! unless it is Levi and he said it in a question because they haven’t talked in like a week and she’s suddenly calling so he’s confused and worried ??! (I know my comment on ao3 showed a different perspective on this but I’ve had time to think okay??!) if I knew how to hack your computer, I would just so I could see what you have planned out next for these idiots!! TBoBF review ~ Chapter 4: The Gathering Storm

I must say that this week's episode was so much, much better than last week's. The show returned to meet my standards, which is a relief. Episode 4 might not be up to episode 2's greatness, but it was very close. I really loved it (you'll tell by how long my commentary is)

Let's get into the details. All the juicy things below the cut (warning for spoilers)

Yeah, Boba, you're the baddest of all badasses but taking the palace all by yourself is a little bit too much to handle.

I love Boba spoiling his Bantha. The way she was licking her lips and wagging her tail like a big dog so Boba'd give her some meat was awesome. 🥺🥰💚

My only big disappointment with this episode is they did not show Mando!!! How dare they not give us a tiny cameo. It's a wasted opportunity! I wouldn't have minded if it was only like Boba watching Mando at a distance. I mean, Lateef (one of Pedro Pascal's performance doubles) is working on tBoBF too, so it was easy to dress him as Din so he could play the part! C'mon!!! Not even a Razor Crest's cameo?! They didn't even show the ending scene of Mando season 2 premiere!! Why didn't they reuse that?!! The jump to the ending scene of the season 2 finale was a little jarring. I wanna know why Boba followed Din to Mos Pelgo, why he didn't take his armor from Cobb himself? I have questions and no answers!! I need them!!

My only hope is that there will be another flashback (although it seems very unlikely since Boba doesn't need the bacta tank anymore apparently and that was when they were shown) and Mando will be included then. Or maybe they're saving Din's cameo for an ending scene in the finale as they did with Boba. If so, I'll forgive them. Until then, I'm mad 😡

Honestly, I think turtles are faster than banthas 😆 because Boba found Fennec like 12 or more hours after Toro shot her. She was shot at sunrise and when Boba arrived it was dark again. Which presents the question of how the kriff she survived so long?

And don't get me started on the lack of medical care afterward. I mean, like operating on her without even an oxygen mask on or a blood transfusion. Don't people in the galaxy far, far away know about germs and bacteria? I know Bacta is magical, but seriously?!?! Did she get any even?!!

I guess now we know the why of the Teletubbies gang, just to explain how Fennec was saved

The internal freakout Fennec had when Boba told her who he was. She was having a very, very bad day for sure. I can't get out of my head that she was like… first, I'm caught, then shot by a wannabe sithspit hunter, I'm part machine for the rest of my life, and now I'm at the mercy of Boba fragging Fett!!!

😭😭😭😭😭 Boba is feeling guilty about the Tuskens! Nooooooo!!! 💔💔💔😭😭😭

Yeah, Fennec's doubts about the Nikto bike riders managing to kill the Tuskens so easily feed my theory that they didn't do it alone. The Pikes were directly involved and not only as suggesting as it was when they talked with Boba. That was a joint assault, just that the pikes abstained from leaving any trace of their involvement, so the niktos carry all the blame. I mean, they got what they wanted. Now, with tuskens put in "their place" and no nikto bikers around, there's nobody to bother them with their spice business… Well, nobody but Boba, which is why they're coming for him in the present time.

Oh, so what he wants is his ship, not taking over. At least, not yet. I'm glad that the mystery of Slave 1's whereabouts is finally resolved. It was lowkey driving me crazy.

Wow! Fennec's rifle has many surprises. I love it! Good for her!

🤣🤣🤣 the bantha licking Boba. I see they didn't go with the thing of Banthas bonding with their owners (tuskens) for life (like says in this post by @kotemorons)

The rat catcher! It was adorable and funny. Quite fast little bugger indeed! 😂😂

Boba and Fennec complimented each other's fighting skills. I could watch a whole episode of them doing that, I swear. Let them kick ass and praise one another afterward

"Next time we stick to the plan"👿 " Next time?" 🤨 oh gawd these 2 😆😆 I'm so incredibly happy that they work so well as a badass duo. If the show was just them bickering I'd watch it happily.

"There are good mechanics in Mos Eisley." Yes! There are! Peli Motto!

Erh, Boba, sorry to contradict you, but nope, your armor is not there. I guess it's understandable that Boba was so out of it after escaping the Sarlacc that he doesn't remember that the jawas stole his armor. This brings me back to the whole Mando-armor-Vanth thing and how/when Boba found out about it. I wanna know!! Show me, dammit!

Oh god!! The Sarlacc is still alive!! How? Didn't Boba burn it and punch a hole through it? As if Boba didn't have enough for nightmares with the thing, now Fennec will have them too. TBH, this time it was scarier than in the first episode. Then, it was gross more than anything, but now it scared me the Sarlacc trying to eat them 😖

Ooooh! The seismic charge! Good thinking, Fennec!!

"Next time don't touch my buttons." 🤣🤣

Is water enough to wash off acid? 🤨🤔 and not any acid but stomach acid which is extremely corrosive. I swear Star Wars science is incomprehensible to me 😐

"You can only get so far without a tribe" 🥺🥺

I wonder if, with that in mind, Boba feels any different toward the clones now. What would he do if he found some of them; if he knew Rex and Wolffe are alive (are they?) Or Kix. If he finds out about Omega?

Ok, Boba is completely healed, which I presume means that he won't sleep in the bacta tank anymore. Does that mean no more flashbacks? I hope not because, as I said, I still have unanswered questions!

Oh! Krrsantan is still there. He looks pissed. Oh, yes. He really is. Yikes!

Ha! I knew he would do that! Dismember the guy and pay his debt. And Boba's expressions in the scene are gold! I love how expressive Temuera is.

Oh, yeah! Another stray for the family.

Oh, there he is!! Such a good boy! 🤣🤣 how everyone jumped out when the rancor made his presence known. And Fennec's smirk! 😏

Just like Jango, Boba pulls off the innocent act nicely. As if the placement of the table on top of the Rancor's cage wasn't on purpose

Is it me or does the music in the final scene after Fennec says that "money can buy muscle if you know where to look" have a very The Mandalorian feel? Is this some kind of foreshadowing or is it just me grasping for straws here? I know the main themes are composed by Ludwig Goransson so obviously there will be some familiar tunes but I don't know. The timing was too perfect and I'm in Mando missing hours.

Let's be honest. If either Fennec or Boba asks, Din would come, especially if the fanon consensus on Din's reluctance to be Mand'alor becomes canon, he'd be glad to have an excuse to skip responsibilities.

So, war is at the door. Bring it on!
