Shadow and Bone has been canceled for S3

I'm absolutely gutted over this and it's so typical of Netflix (and other streaming services) to cancel the shows with LGBTQ+ representation and honestly just ANY good show. I'm disappointed but unfortunately not surprised. It's become the norm and my boiling rage over it will never cease.

I will however take small comfort in the fact that I will never have to witness the death of Matthias on screen (if i dont see it then it didnt happen so hes alive now yay) and that I got to see Wesper in all their glory (though many thought it was rushed) and not have to wait for a slowburn that would never reach it's conclusion because of the cancelation.

Vigilante!Tiso flower quest pog

The fact the Netflix cancelled one of the most popular shows because it was "too expensive" when they're literally burning money on shows with no soul, care, and viewership.

#personal #im pretty sure none of my family are on tumblr #but just in case #please dont reblog this #today was an...experience #it wasnt as bad as i expected it to be #but im glad its over and done #i am not the best at funerals #i can pretend #but my family's coping methods are #well usually considered less than reverent #it was so so hard to sit still #and not giggle or make other people giggle #especially with other members of my family present #my uncles are a sight #one looks about how you would expect a mourner to except maybe a bit smarmy #one looks like a mad scientist and one looks like hes homeless #the pastor was nuts #i know its been a while since i attended services at that church #but they have gotten significantly more evangelical #and apparently the pastor is concerned about some kind of attack at the church enough to have armed guards at sunday services #the sermon was...not quite the right tone for a funeral #at one point he referred to the body as an earth suit and all i could think was 'meat suit' #i had to bite my tongue to keep from laughing #he also mentioned a trip the deceased turned down because she didnt want to go a single day without seeing her husband #which he meant to hold up as a virtue of devotion im sure #but was just a huge fucking red flag for me (and my husband) #he also read the obituary at the start of the service #which was just weird

I didn't rly wanna post this to my art blog since its just. a compilation of older art and comparisons (done pretty quickly on paint jasdhkfj) but! been thinking abt how far my ocs designs have come and wanted to see them all lined up.

ive been considering upgraded forms or ones that might fit tmm new better, even tho I really dont have plans to add any story/plot details from tmmn to the tm2 story since its based so heavily on the first anime TwT (unless something super different happens in tmmn s2 that is waaay different and I like more...? idk)

originally mira had two school friends, one who bears STRIKING resemblance to cara (with the blonde blunt haircut, but one side dyed..orange?) but she got scrapped and yue-bing added later to fill that role. several characters personalities (esp miras) have done a 180, too!! very funny how much changes ...I wonder how these characters will change in the future? :-)

the fact that I can’t watch s2 right when it drops bc I’ll be traveling and away with friends next week/weekend is really hitting me

I’m seriously contemplating deleting all social media off of my phone for those 4 days because I CANNOT and WILL NOT be spoiled for big moments
