I loved Heartless by Marissa Meyer, The Truth-Teller's Tale by Sharon Shinn got me interested in propinquity, anything by Tamora Pierce is a good shot, Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer, the Dragonkeeper Chronicles by Donita K. Paul, I love the Queen's Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner but I'm terrified of reading the last book, Two Princesses of Bamarre by Gail Carson Levine omg

Favorite Song: Like with books I could keep going forever about music. I'll put five.

Favorite Author: Okay since I already spazzed about books can I take a moment to promote Hello Bunny by nyam_nyamo on AO3 because it completely change the soulmate AU trope for me and I'll never be the same, I was screaming at them on Twitter after every update.

Random Fun Fact: I'm usually full of them but it's hard on demand. Oh I'm a weirdly good shot and it's a problem because my partner got us Nerf guns and I never remember not to shoot their face and my aim is. Good. which is bad. I'm so sorry. This has been discovered a few times and I'd definitely love to get into something that uses this odd skill.

No one cares, but Etho and Cleo's makeshift alliance (however brief) at the end of Last Life means so much to me.

While they were in no way allied any time until that point, they had one thing in common: losing Bdubs. Not having him in the first place, but losing him.

Etho who has spent the entirety of Last Life with an eye over his shoulder, pouring every inch of his efforts into keeping Bdubs alive against his better judgement. Etho, who in the same night lost his home, lost Bdubs, lost everything. A server after him, hunting him.

Cleo being there in the moment Etho realizes he's lost him for good. Ren and Scott are sad for him and expressing their sympathies, but as Etho's standing there processing Cleo is silently just standing there looking at him. Because they GET IT. "I understand, I've been there."

Etho turning red, respawning atop Ren's tower in a panic, thinking they'd turn on him, already accepting the fact that he's on his own again and is ready to fight. Cleo climbing the ladder and talking him down. I'm not going to hurt you, she says. And Etho believes her. He believes her and tells everyone else to back off. I don't know if he would've believed anyone else had they said that to him.

For all of the teasing and thinly-veiled threats these two exchange throughout not only last life but third life as well, those brief two episodes or so they're a team. And while it may be an alliance out of necessity, out of a lack of options, what better a default ally for Etho than Cleo?

God the current TV landscape has completely destroyed audiences ability to wait for developments and to accept suspense.

"Why hasn't this couple gotten together yet??" -> it's a slow burn, it takes time

"Why is nothing resolved by the end of the season??" -> sometimes, things have to get worse before they can get better, it takes time.
