An actual relationship with Henry would be a complicated thing considering who he is.

It's possible that he could meet you as an employee at the hospital or another resident of Blue Valley and hear pure, good thoughts like he did from Merri so many years ago. Maybe you could have something then, but he has to keep so many secrets and tell so many lies. And once you see how he treats his son, it's probably not going to last much longer after that.

It's more likely that you're fellow Injustice Society members who have a 'coworkers with benefits' situation as opposed to actually dating. After Merri, Henry's not ready to love again, and you know exactly what kind of person he is and that you don't want to get too deeply involved.

It actually works out pretty perfectly. You can meet up with each other when the need strikes, and you team up if necessary whenever something needs to be taken care of for Project New America. You and Henry each know who the other is and what terrible things you've both done, so you don't have to hide or pretend.

The rest of the ISA may have a sneaking suspicion that the two of you have this kind of relationship, but it's never been confirmed. Henry Jr on the other hand has no idea that you know each other, let alone that you're sleeping together.

Over the years, some feelings beyond a sexual relationship could develop, though it will always be hidden and unspoken. Henry has you at a bit of a disadvantage, because he knows about your feelings and will never let his own show.

You're a little upset when he ends up in a coma, but that will probably go away once he murders his son. Unless you're on board with that kind of thing as well.

No matter which scenario, it's not going to go well. Henry will have his throat slit in the tunnels and you'll end up on the run like the Gambler or in prison like Sportsmaster and Tigress. There will be no happy ending here...

Going by the lyrics or even based by the title, she’s a lucid yandere and she feels somewhat ashamed of how she’s feeling. But just like the beats and flow of the song, it’s an irresistible sensation that she cannot pull herself away from. She feels herself drowning in your eyes and your essence and even if an opportunity is given to get away from the whole situation, she just can’t help but ignore it as she falls deeper into you. There’s always a somber look to her face whenever she hears it, yet she still manages to always play it on rewind.

This man is alarmingly cold. From his experiences and powers, you can’t get a read of what he’s truly like. I think how he would propose would culminate on what was the specific time or mental state he was in at his villainy. If it was before he got married to Merry and eventually had his son, he would be awkward, hesitant, and all around uncomfortable. He’s probably connected to your mind so he would attempt to model your dream proposal to your liking to please you, even if it wasn’t how he wanted it to go, but maybe you would appreciate the thought. But if it’s after his wife’s and son’s death and during the awakening of Project America, he’s going to be a lot more demanding and harsh. There will be no fancy gestures and he probably has you on the brink of a stroke as he orders you to marry him.

Hell, if he’s in the mood, he can just steal it. He already does it with your clothes, what difference does it make? Similar to Dick, Kaldur is definitely going to build a relationship upfront with his darling. He has a very responsible and comforting charisma towards him, facades and deceits he could possibly commit aside, he’s a very dedicated individual and he wants to show you that. Kaldur is that boy bestfriend, he’s definitely the ones your family members and friends gossip about when you think he’s not there clinging on to every word with a soft smile on his face. He is the ideal boyfriend, he is the ideal partner, and he knows sticking to the shadows is not a reliable strategy in the long run. However, he will admit that stalking is a very effective way to find one’s preferences and even weaknesses.

Like most another villain yanderes, becoming their darling is not an easy task to endure. Aside from the obvious threat that looms over you and your life, there’s nothing much you can do without receiving a warning look on their face. Slade is different in his approach. Every-time he comes home to his safe house or wherever location he’s in, he always expects you to patch him up. During these moments he always staring at you, some kind of feeling unrecognizable in his eyes that causes goosebumps to rise from your skin. He’s surprisingly the domestic type as well; whenever you go out together he wants to share milkshakes and enjoys embracing you in silence during meal preparations with his strong arms or even during the night. A hidden softy really.

Underneath all his wits and smiles, Barry is a very hurt and calloused individual. His jokes hide behind a very damaged person who spends each minute and second saving the world, trying to cope with the fact he can’t fix every problem. He’s relatively easy to crack because of that, just yell or address to him towards his behaviors, his schemes, and routines to keep you under lock and key and that will drive him into silence. Each lunge or kick towards a villain is equivalent to you most likely despairing at the safehouse he kept you in, moaning over the loss of your freedom and individuality. He leaves you alone for a while, of what could of been of your future as well as his relationship with you.

Stephanie is a very fun yet very driven individual. Based on my limited knowledge of her, she’s really good at balancing different aspects of her identity while succeeding in a general sense. So expect patching her injuries from patrol on one day and having a date on a theme park the next. She’s excitable and wants to experience lots of life experiences with you, she absolutely lives for your reactions.

Like father like son, Jon just looms over and stalks you from afar. He’s shy and does not step at all on your toes, so you just do whatever you want but still expect a pair of eyes always positioned on your figure. His soft-spoken nature definitely contrasts his much more sunshine like behavior and he just acts like an absolute fool. He always stares at you too much and definitely tries to have a conversation but they’re a mixture of disconnected compliments as well as casual attempts to impress you. When you’re inevitably weirded out by him, just know he’s still figuring things out and he’s not going to stop at all. Expect Lois to even try and talk to you to set things straight for her son.

Henry King Sr X Gender Neutral Reader

Day 8: Mind Powers- Henry King Sr

This might make no sense, but I love him so much and he needs fluff

It’s impossible to hide things from someone like Henry. His power is incredible, awe inspiring, and scary at times. You had gotten used to the moving of objects without touching them and the little raise of his eyebrow when he did so. It was the mind reading that always caught you off guard. After a while you’d learned when he was peering into the minds of others, that spine tingling sensation and the trilling sound in the back of the head gave it away. The thoughts you needed to hide retreated into the shadows of your mind that would stay buried until Henry stopped looking at you.

The members of the Injustice Society all had their fear inducing features. Jordan could freeze you with a look, Lawrence could take your head off with a hockey puck, Steve could pick you apart with a minute at a keyboard, Anaya could dictate your thoughts with the pluck of a string, William could make unheard of things happen with the wave of a wand, Paula could break bones in your body you’d never heard of, but Henry- Henry could know everything all at once and that was arguably the most terrifying of them all. And, while you were terrified of the power he held, you were amazed by it as well.

It was only the little things that you hid from Henry. The fact that you loved how he looked in his glasses and how he paired his watch as a complement. The way he fixed his hair so neatly. The care he takes in everything, paying attention to every little detail. The seer cockiness of his being when he put on that Brainwave persona. These thoughts are what stayed tucked away when you felt him prying.

But, you slipped up. Oh, how you so greatly slipped up. It was during a meeting where Jordan just kept going on and on about the plan to kill the JSA and you were trying to not fall asleep. All of your focus was on staying awake and trying to look like you were paying active attention. You didn’t even notice that familiar tingling shooting up through your spine and that light trilling was covered by Jordan’s endless lecture.

You hadn’t even noticed Henry prying, peeling back those protected layers to reveal exactly what he kept trying to find. Deep inside your thoughts the feelings you held became laid out for him so plainly. He filed through them, the touching thoughts of how you liked his mannerisms, the fantasy of him falling asleep with his head in your lap and your fingers running through his hair. However, what caught his eye- what made him unable to look away, was the thoughts of the two of you in bed.

It wasn’t anything out of order, nothing kinky at all, it was simple and basic. It showed your purity. The nice thoughts in your head about him didn’t all end in some dark fantasy, they ended in a fantasy of a romantic night full of nothing but love. He could watch it replay in your head forever, projecting it into his own mind and trying to etch it into his memory and keep it there forever.

“Henry!”

Jordan’s yell brought him back, pulling him out of the blissful fantasy and into a reality where he had been staring at you for at least twenty minutes. You had your head rested on your hand, barely awake and certainly not paying attention to anything that had been going on.

“Am I boring you?” Jordan looked offended.

“Yeah,” Lawrence answered for the table.

Paula chuckled lightly at her lover’s blunt joke. William stretched his arms above his head as if silently agreeing that Jordan was inherently boring. Jordan’s only rebuttal was for his icy demeanor to leave footprints as he stormed off. You took it as a dismissal, as did the rest of the table, and stood to leave.

Henry stayed in place, almost stuck to his chair as the thoughts and plans ran through his head. A million different things needed figuring out if he were going to bring that night to life. And, yet, how would he manage to do it all without giving away that he’d read your mind.

You were surprised when Henry propositioned you. He’d said that Jordan needed him to go on a mission and he needed support for said mission. You agreed without hesitation, mostly out of curiosity for why you’d be the one he needed for support. Any other member of the ISA would be a better choice to compliment his abilities. So, why you?

Your question was answered rather early into the trip. You’d just gotten the motel you’d be staying at. Henry hadn’t said anything up until this point.

“They’re annoying,” He said it matter-of-factly

“What?”

“You wondered why I didn’t take the others,” He explained. “They’re annoying.”

“I get it.” You messed with the TV remote, trying to find something interesting. “I wouldn’t want to spend much time with Crock if I could help it.”

“I suppose I could have taken William.”

“Bowen might not have been a bad choice.”

“Nothing better than you.” He hadn't said it out loud, that part had echoed inside your head.

You couldn’t really say anything, but your thoughts raced at the little sentence. You’d always wanted Henry to think of you that way, but actually hearing it- not out loud, but hearing it in the way that only Henry could say it was better than anything you’d ever experienced.

“I could never see it,” Henry continued to speak through his power as he walked closer to you. “But it didn’t take much once I knew what I was looking for, once I got past the first barrier.”

You knew he could hear every thought going through your head, yet you couldn’t think of much other than just the imagined feelings of having him in your arms. Henry seemed to be able to read that. He wrapped his arms around you as you did the same. You held each other for a while. Henry pulled away just enough to press his lips to yours.

“I love you.”

The thought rang in your head as Henry pushed you back onto the bed behind you. When you repeated the sentiment in your own head Henry brought his hand to rest on your cheek. He didn’t even try to, but his powers worked to undo the fastenings on your clothes.

Your fingers moved through his hair, gripping it ever-so-slightly. Henry moved his hand to remove his glasses while he pushed his power to take care of both pairs of your shoes. Neither of you were in much of a rush as you slowly got rid of your clothes. Most of this was time spent looking into each other’s eyes, kissing, or just resting your foreheads together. But every few minutes there was one less article of clothing.

Henry must have been glad you didn’t have his abilities. The blush that had spread across his face as his hand traced along your body had to be paired with thoughts that would make him as red as his hair if you could hear them. But, he could hear you. Your mind focused on him entirely, not that the thoughts were anything new. Even now, seeing Henry in his most vulnerable state, your thought was on the little things.

The mess his hair had become in all the time you’d messed with it, the light pink shade on his face as he looked at you, the contrast of his sharp jawline when compared to how softly he touched you. And when he heard all of those little thoughts seeping from your mind he bent down to kiss you again. Only this time he finally felt the ache as he brushed against you.

“Are you sure?” He asked in your head.

You thought the word “yes” a hundred times before Henry pressed his forehead to yours, acknowledging the answer. A small smile spread across his face as he pressed his lips to yours again. He took a moment, just looking into your eyes while he stroked your cheek with his thumb. The exchange of thoughts between the two of you full of loving sentiments, things neither of you would probably never say out loud.

Henry moved his hand slowly, sliding it down your body until he’d reached your entrance. He pressed his lips to yours, kissing you slowly as he pushed his finger inside. He moved it slowly, adding another to stretch you out a bit. You pressed against him out of reflex but Henry held you in place, his arm wrapped close around you.

He moved even slower during the next step. He buried his face in the crook of your neck as he pressed himself into you. Neither of you made much noise, but the thoughts Henry read were more than enough to encourage him. He was slow in his actions, the thrusts being more of gliding. He shifted between kissing your lips and your cheeks, his hands stayed in the same places just holding you close to him. You kept your hands in his hair or cupping his face when he kissed you.

He took his time with slow thrusts rocking into you. He sped up as the ache became too much to bear and pumped into you with a bit more force. You felt yourself near the edge and Henry must have read the thought as he worked to finish both of you off. Your release came along with Henry’s and you rode it out together.

After some deep breaths he slipped out and pressed another kiss to your lips. You pulled him close once the two of you got under the covers. He pressed more messages into your mind and read your responses as you both drifted into sleep.
