Healthy lunch on a budget thanks to some awesome clearance deals at Kroger’s. It’s not always easy to eat healthy without completely blowing your food budget but shopping sales and clearance helps, as do coupons and rebates. I try to balance things like the giant canister of whole oats I bought for breakfast with organic, local apples from my CSA. Or the bulk brown rice with clearance stir fry veggies for dinner. I spend a lot of money on healthy food.  Are you a late night snacker? ⠀ Maybe you're not even hungry.. but somehow you find yourself lingering in the kitchen after dinner, snacking mindlessly. Next thing you know, you've consumed an extra 500-1,000 calories. ⠀ 🍿 I used to do this ALL OF THE TIME. I didn't even realize it was happening until it was too late. If this sounds like you, know that you are not alone. Late night snacking is a very common problem.. and honestly I am still guilty of doing it sometimes! ⠀ 💎 But over time, I have gathered a handful of strategies to help you out & I wanted to share them with you!👇🏼 ⠀ ⏰ Adjust your meal times & eat dinner later. Instead of eating dinner at 6pm, try for 7 or 8pm so that by the time you finish eating, you don't have much time before bed to get hungry again. ⠀ ⏳ Wait 20 minutes. Stay busy & distracted. Most times we are just bored…our instinct is to eat because it's enjoyable & will fill the time. Instead of heading to the kitchen, call a friend, go for a walk, read a book, spend time w/ family, etc. ⠀ 📝 Decide an eating window that you won't eat outside of. Make a rule for yourself, I won't eat past ___ pm and try sticking with it! ⠀ 💧 Drink sparkling water, a cup of decaffeinated tea or just plain ol' water! Sometimes you are just thirsty. Try filling up on calorie free beverages before you opt to eat snacks before bed. ⠀ 🍖 Be sure to include plenty of protein & fiber in your diet, which will keep you full! This will prevent you from wanting to snack after dinner. ⠀ 🚰 Brush your teeth immediately after dinner. Untuk toping kasih potongan kecil keju feta homemade yang telah dipanggang sebentar plus taburan wijen. Bisa kasih perasan jeruk lemon juga pas mau dimakan.
