Coast City Green Doctor Danny
Danny had already spent a few weeks in this new place, and he loved it. All the similarities and differences made him able to use his powers freely without having to hide them! Who would have thought his powers could heal? But it's easy money. He became a healer and doctor in Coast City, and with his green light, they thought he was a green lantern, but he used it for healing them and the sick. So no problem with him not fighting, they like him as Doctor more. Group Paid even for him to study in medicine in the future when he is older.
And after 1 year
Hal was pretty confused about how he was just 2nd place in favorite heroes in his own city. Like, isn't he the only hero in Coast City? That was how he learned about the Green Lantern Healer his city has, which he somehow never met or knew about.

The hero was getting blood all over the villains nice jacket.
“I’m sorry about the blood—“ they murmured, and the villain hushed them.
“We’re almost there. Just—just stay still, okay?”
If the hero didn’t know better, they’d say the villain almost sounded afraid.
“It’s okay. M’fine.”
The villain breathed a harsh laugh, cradling the hero to their chest as they walked.
“Yes, you certainly look fine bleeding everywhere.”
There was that tone again. The hero frowned. The villain had never used that tone, especially not with them, and they had no idea what it was—
They barged into the villains apartment, as the hero realized the villain was concerned.
Oh.
The villain set them down on a couch, gently, but the hero still flinched. The villain apologized, soft and gentle, and ran their hand over the wound, assessing the damage.
The villains face went carefully blank.
The hero’s head spun, just a little, and they closed their eyes to fight it off. A moment later, they opened them to find the villain wrapping their side.
Their eyebrows crinkled.
“You—when did you get those?” Their voice cracked.
The villain looked up at them.
“Just a minute ago. You passed out,” they said calmly.
Their fingers continued deftly wrapping the bandage on the hero’s side.
“Wait. Why are you,” the hero grit their teeth as the villain brushed against the wound. “Why are you helping me.”
The villain laughed.
“For someone so observant, you miss a lot of things.”
“What is that supposed to mean?”
The villain shook their head.
“I knew you were a bit obtuse, but darling, really. Work with me.”
They tied off the bandages, helping the hero sit up against the arm of the couch. The villain held their gaze, cool and collected and concerned, all at once.
“Your powers stem from emotions, yes?”
The hero nodded, once.
“So positive emotions make you stronger. They can heal you, right?”
The hero had tried to keep that bit of information under wraps. Not only could they heal themselves if they were happy, they could heal anyone. They didn’t want to end up some tool to be used in some military stronghold. Still, they healed civilians when no one was looking.
If they were mad, though? They could destroy anything, tear concrete in half, send metal into dust.
The hero cleared their throat. “Yes. Positive emotions can heal me. Not feeling super happy right now, so I’ll get back to you on that—“
The villain sat back on their heels.
“Do you trust me?”
The hero blinked at them. They were ready to give them some bullshit answer about how they could never trust the villain and never would; but that wasn’t true. The villain had saved them, more times than they could count.
And between the agency and the villain? Well, the hero knew who they would choose.
“Yes,” they said hesitantly, and the villain kissed them.
Warmth flooded them, and they reached for the villain, tugging them closer, and the villain smiled against their mouth.
The wound on their side began to close, and the villain felt it. They smiled, pleased with themself, like a cat.
“I give you positive emotions, huh,” they said, still grinning.
“For someone so observant, you can be so obtuse—“ the villain kissed them, again, to get them to shut up. This time, the hero smiled.
The wound closed further.
“I didn’t know you liked me,” the hero murmured.”
“I tolerate you. I just happen to hate everyone else.”
The hero laughed, side twinging with pain.
The villain checked the half closed wound, then turned back to the hero.
“Kiss it better?”
The villain rolled their eyes.
This time, when the villain kissed them, the hero didn’t let them stop.

Note
idea for a Vigilante with healing powers. they're a very caring person, gentle but not naive. they refuse to work for the hero agency bc they'd have no say in who they'd be allowed to help. instead, they decide who to heal, hero or villain (and they can only heal so much before they pass out). Villain wakes up after Vigilante heals them and catches feelings...
Umm I LOVE this. Also, did you ever see when I joked about how so many of my story either begin with waking up or end with falling asleep? It's a serious problem for me, so this is perfect.
It turned out that the sensation of one's bones being knit back together was not a subtle one. Nor pleasant.
Villain was practically ripped from the dark, numb folds of unconsciousness. Violent, white splotches flashed across their vision and hot agony danced with heavy steps across their abdomen.
A scream tore their throat raw.
"Shshsh, that's the worst bit over." Warm callused fingertips slid soothingly up and down their ribcage. "It's allll downhill from here. And you've done just beautifully so far.”
Villain blinked hard in the direction of the voice, but everything remained a monochromatic blur, slippery shadows and pale white light obscuring both face and room. An involuntary whimper escaped past their lips, a pathetic primal reaction to the pain and confusion. They'd always thought themself so strong. A predator. A shark in an ocean of pathetic sardines. But they were just any other big fish swimming in a small pond.
The next thing they knew the skin above their hips felt tight. It was a similar sensation to having one's hands covered in drying clay. They slapped their hand in that direction, unsure whether the sensation was something they should be trying to stop, but instead, they found someone else's hand. Their fingers intertwined with Villain's before they could even think about pulling away.
"Just a few more seconds." The voice came again, a little more out of breath. "Let the skin set."
Villain whimpered. "W-What's--" They swallowed as their voice croaked. "--what's happening?"
"I found you in the street. You didn't look in great shape so...so I... Excuse me a second, ok?"
The stranger's hand withdrew, leaving Villain feeling strangely cold. An unseen door squealed and slammed shut again. Villain's stomach squirmed. They didn't know what was going on, or who this person was, but their presence made them less anxious. They wanted them back.
Very, very slowly, Villain propped themselves up on their elbow, attempting a second time to see their surroundings. It took several moments for their vision to clear, revealing a simple, grey basement. A hanging lightbulb dangled overhead Villain's spot on a frayed, lopsided couch.
Where was this? The last thing they remembered was...was...
Their hand shot to their stomach, but where there was once a gaping wound was soft, tender skin. Their fingers trailed up to their ribs; earlier they'd hurt so bad they couldn't stand, but now there was only a little lingering soreness.
What happened? They remembered fighting with Hero, slammed up against the wall with superpowered strength, ribs shattering, breath catching, then something sharp twisting in their gut. From there everything went blank. By all accounts, they should be dead. They shouldn't look several weeks into the healing process.
The door squealed again, and a stooped figure dressed in a dark coat and leggings shuffled through.
Villain fell back clumsily against the couch, wincing at the dull pain in their chest. "Y-you're that hero!"
"Vigilante," they corrected. "Are you feeling well enough to sit up?"
"I...uh..." Villain pushed themselves upright again. "Y-yeah. Er…what happened? Exactly?"
And why was this hero or vigilante or whatever helping them?
"I found you in one of the alleys I was patrolling. Figured you probably couldn’t go to a regular doctor, so…” They spread their arms to the room. “Welcome to your hospital.”
“Probably not a great move to bring villains into personal, private spaces.”
Vigilante shrugged, bracing themselves on the couch arm. “I’ve brought lots of people here. You dear, are just my most famous patient. A lot of people don’t like you.”
Right. Everyone was an enemy. So why were they any different? What were they getting out of this? Shouldn’t they have helped Hero finish them off?
"Vigilante?” they said carefully. “What's the difference between that and a regular hero?”
"I'm not licensed with the agency. Or with anyone.”
Villain blinked. “Isn’t that really illegal?”
“Says the villain,” the vigilante scoffed, seating themselves on the edge of the couch cushion.
That was different.
“That’s why I’m a villain. If the agency wants to push everyone with powers around, I’m going to destroy them. No matter how many times I get stabbed. But you’re…” They brushed over their closed wound again. “What, a healer?”
“What gave me away?”
“You don’t have to do any of their dirty work; you could just step in and clean up the aftermath. Then you’re protected by the state, no one busting down your door or watching you to be sure you’re not ‘abusing your powers.’ You don’t have to deal with any of this crap. Seems like an easy out.”
“Just because I’m not actively taking the agency down doesn’t mean I agree with what they do. Besides…I already looked into that option. Too much red tape.”
They stared off across the room as they spoke. Villain hadn’t noticed right away but they looked pretty pale and their eyes were ringed with dark circles.
“Yeah?”
The vigilante shrugged their slender shoulders. “If I’m going to heal people I’m going to choose who it is. I’m not going to limit myself to heroes or villains or whoever else. With the agency I can only use my powers under their clearance. So no. I’ll break the law to help whoever I want.”
They looked so intense in that moment Villain couldn’t help the warmth that raised in their cheeks. “Like…me?”
The vigilante turned and grinned. “Like you.”
Villain’s hands slapped to their cheeks, stupidly attempting to hide of the evidence of their blush. The vigilante grinned even wider.
“Emotional outbursts based off gratitude aren’t uncommon. Nothing to be ashamed of.”
Villain ducked their head. “‘M not emotional….”
“Of course. How are the injuries? Feeling be—“
The vigilante suddenly slumped forward, clutching their head.
Villain raised up on their knees. “Hey, are you ok?”
“Just my head. Healing…urgh…takes a toll. And if it’s really bad well…”
“Like…broken ribs and life-threatening stab wounds?”
The vigilante chuckled humorlessly through a groan. “That would do it. But don’t worry, it’ll pass. I just…agh…need to sleep it off. Get some energy back.”
“You do look ready to drop.”
Another empty chuckle. “Well I couldn’t leave you all alone down here, now could I?”
“Well,” Villain looked around the room for their shirt. “I should get going anyway. I owe your for the patch job though.”
The vigilante lifted their head out of their hands. “You should probably rest a little longer, healing would’ve tired you out a little too.”
Their legs did feel a little like jelly. And everything was still sore too. The last thing they wanted to do was get up and stumble their way home from wherever this was. It would be so much nicer to just lay back down and drift off here.
“Oh, well…then I’ll hang out a little longer… You can like…rest your eyes if you want. I won’t do anything.”
“I wasn’t worried,” the vigilante smiled.
“Oh, good. It’s just the villain reputation, I thought I should reassure you that being questionable ethically doesn’t not extend to…”
They trailed off. The vigilante was already dozed off in their seat.
“Nevermind,” Villain choked quietly.
They watched the do-gooder’s peaceful face for a several moments, watching as already tired body slackened even further and tipped against them.
Villain flushed deeper and tried to ignore the weight as they forced themselves to lean their head back against the couch. The vigilante didn’t stir.
They were really too nice. And definitely not careful enough. They should know better than to let their guard down in this line of work, especially if they’d been doing this for a while.
If vigilante was against the agency too…then maybe villain could add protecting them to their agenda.

Febuwhump Day 3 - "Bite Down on This"
For @smilesrobotlover and her wonderful King of the Gerudo blorbos!
Things hadn't exactly gone according to plan.
The monster horde near Fort Hateno had needed to be addressed quickly. Although the soldiers had held it at bay fairly well, Link wanted to defend his home and had rushed to its aid. Mipha had joined him.
Everything had been fine until the blood moon had come in the middle of the fight.
Link supposed it wasn't a complete disaster - they'd still won, after all. But goddess above, at what cost?
Mipha whimpered a bit as she tried to sit up a little more. Link gently put pressure on her shoulders to get her to relax.
"Please," he nearly begged. "You've done enough, Mipha. Just let me help."
His beloved wilted a little at his tone, her love for him fighting against her worry for the other soldiers. Link adored her for her compassion, but by Hylia she could be stubborn.
Well. He could be too, he supposed. Both their parents had commented that if they could have children they would be the most hardheaded beings on the planet.
The current dilemma, though, was due to Mipha's stubbornness, and his own would win out in this fight. Mipha had gotten an arrow to her leg, and it had impaled all the way through. The scream she'd let out was still ringing in Link's ears, making his skin crawl. Ever since he'd almost lost her to the Calamity, any injury she received was like being thrown back to that awful day. His heart was still racing just thinking about it.
The injury itself was painful to look at it, but Link knew Mipha's healing skills were more than enough to take care of it. The issue was that she'd spent her energy healing the Hylian soldiers all around her instead, and at this point she was too exhausted.
"Why do you do this to yourself?" he murmured, not really expecting an answer as he traced his finger around the wound.
"I have to help," Mipha answered quietly, a little browbeaten.
Link felt bad for making her guilty over such a gift, for such tender and considerate love for all. He sighed, cupping her cheeks with his hands. "I know. But... you can't help others if you wear yourself out. You worry me."
Mipha sighed, leaning into his touch and closing her eyes. "I'm sorry, Link."
Link tapped her face with his thumb, making her look at him. He didn't say anything more, but he leaned in for a quick kiss before leaning back and letting her go. He sifted through his bag a little before finding a spare belt. He felt his insides grow a little cold as he pulled it out. He'd used this item time and again when handling his own wounds, but...
Goddess, he really wished they didn't have to keep fighting like this. Hyrule had known peace for so long.
He couldn't imagine a better partner in battle, though.
"Bite down on this," he ordered as he offered the belt to her. Mipha took it and complied without argument, knowing what was coming.
Link found himself wishing desperately that he had even an ounce of Mipha's healing magic. He seemed the least magically inclined person by his own observations - Zelda, Mipha, Urbosa, Daruk... even Revali to a degree had some kind of magical ability to their name. He supposed his magic was his fighting prowess.
It absolutely paled in comparison.
What good was such magic in the face of the others? The only closest equivalent was Urbosa, whose abilities were really only utilized for violence such as his. Link had never been ashamed of his gifts before, but in this moment he wished so desperately that his hands could heal more so than hurt.
It's not hurting. It's defending. And that's equally important, he reminded himself.
And then he glanced again at Mipha, who could both heal and defend. His heart swelled, a smile pulling at his lips. Goddess, he loved her.
Mipha gave him a bewildered look for a moment before softening and returning the smile. But then she grimaced as she moved her leg a little, and Link focused on the moment again, warmth forgotten.
Positioning her leg a little better, Link visualized both sides of the arrow where it pierced all the way through. In her state, Mipha wasn't likely to be able to heal the wound for at least a few hours, so he'd have to stop the bleeding in the best way he knew how. He prayed she could heal herself sooner rather than later as... well...
Tourniquets hurt. But the risk for further injury and bleeding and infection were too high to sit on this.
He glanced at Mipha, silently asking if she was ready. She nodded, face determined, though her nervous wringing of her hands belayed her anxiety.
Link pushed the shaft with a fast, fluid motion. He wasn't sure if the whimper that escaped his beloved was better or worse than a scream. His hands went back to her face quickly, leaning his forehead against hers in comfort before he eased the belt out of her clenched jaw and tied it around her thigh. Mipha gasped in pain as he tightened it, watching the bleeding slow and then stop entirely.
Mipha leaned against the wall, sighing, her eyes closed tightly. Link shuffled to sit beside her and pulled her to him.
"I'm sorry," he mumbled. I'm sorry I can't heal like you can.
"Don't--ah!--don't be," Mipha said shakily, huddling closer to him. "You h-helped me. Thank you."
Link sighed heavily. Mipha just couldn't help being nice. One of these days he was going to kidnap her to some beautiful place where she didn't have to lead, worry, heal, or do anything for at least a week and he could just take care of her.
"I'll be able to heal it soon, I think," Mipha noted.
Link nodded, pulling away before scooping her into his arms. She yelped in surprise, making him smile.
"Well, in the meantime, I'll take care of you."

This is something that’s been in my head basically since I started the game but I’ve just forgotten to say, but I do appreciate how Pure Vanilla, the healer of the group, is the leader. I mean like normally with a band of heroes, it’s usually the strongest warrior or the smart wizard, not the healer, and I appreciate that subversion
I mean sure, Pure Vanilla technically is a wizard, but he primarily focuses on healing magic, so I don’t count that
Though it also makes me think that logically, the healer probably should be the leader in a group, particularly if they’re the only healer. I mean, if there is only one person who can heal you when you’re constantly fighting strong enemies, you’re gonna listen to what that person tells you, or else suffer the dire consequences of them not healing you. Though I mean, in a video game, I can see why that’s not usually the case logistics wise. Mostly because you usually play as the leader of the group, and usually you tend to start off on your own without party members, and healers aren’t known for being particularly good in combat

Actually probably the most healing and productive narrative consequence to Leo’s resurrection could have been him having to work for Asclepius.
Whatever powers that be see it as a punishment for both sides but these are two isolated people who care a lot. It’s a peaceful welcome for Leo, which is something he needs, and he doesn’t even realize how much so.
And yeah, Asclepius had to be tricked into helping them with the cure but he treated them without prompting or desire for anything in return, which is very ungodlike.
And Leo has just faced the culmination of his destructive abilities and been destroyed by them, saved the world with them and there is something so soft and freeing about not being expected to break anything anymore. Instead he gets to help with and eventually learn how to fix things- to heal people. He once regretted how he couldn’t fix Jason’s injuries because people weren’t as simple as machines, but he could learn, and learn from the best.
And more likely than not, having a connection to the outside world that lasts longer than a few minute might change the doctor’s mind about staying in his little prison. It’d be only fair for all he’s done for Leo.
Basically, Asclepius being the parental figure Leo deserves and Leo getting to find something on his own that makes him happy.

Whumpees with powers controlled by their emotions. Maybe other than that they have controll, but when they feel a certain way their powers will NOT be tamed.
Whumpees that turn invisible on instinct when scared. Whumpers that find this endlessly amusing, using man handling and a lot of physical touch because they've "got to make up for the visual unappeal."
Shapeshifting whumpees can't control their forms when angry. Lashing out at whumpers as a large bear or wolf before being restrained, brought to a cage sense "They're so insistent on acting like an animal."
Whumpees with electric powers that get turned up to ten while in pain. Everything whumper does gives them an electric shock, making any torture or punishment very frustrating for the whumper. Even if whumpee can't control it, can't do it on purpose, even if they apologize a thousand times, they are still spurned, told that "they should know better than to try THAT little stunt again."
Empath whumpees that can't help but project their strong emotions. Whumpers having to step out of the room while torturing them, or whumpers that get the smug satisfaction of feeling a wave of relief as they walk back into the house to their whumpee. Of course no good things will happen when the whumper realizes what's going on, but that won't be for a while. Caretakers rattled by anxiety and fear so overwhelming they don't know what to do, holding whumpee too close or even running, scared they're going to hurt them all over again. But also caretakers crying tears of joy when they realize why they felt so good all day: they finally made whumpee feel safe.
Whumpees that grow armor when they feel threatened, whether that be crystals growing from their skin, or thorns or whatever else. On top of the pain of whatever whumper is about to do to them they have the pain of new material growing and pricking out of their skin. Whumpers that sigh, over compensating for the armor with the pain they cause because "You're over reacting, it's not going to be THAT bad."
Whumpees that have power over plants, flowers blooming when they feel safe and warm, withering when they're depressed or lonely. Whumper's garden never grew well, not until they broke whumpee in. And after rescue caretakers garden was rotted down to the soil, but as time went on their garden flourished, more beautiful than whumper's garden could ever be.
Whumpees that subconsciously control other people's powers, making them more or less powerful depending on how much whumpee trusted them. Whumper getting annoyed beyond belief after their powers STILL barely function, even after weeks of trying to manipulate whumpee to staying. Caretaker scared for whumpees life after a rescue, none of their healing powers working on whumpee because they don't trust that this rescue isn't another of whumper's tricks.
Whumpees that can only charm abd mind control when they're most desperate. Screaming first whumper to stop until finally right before the worst punishment they do, whumpers getting PISSED, continuing on once the enchantment wears off with new found rage because "you don't get to control me, I control you."
Whumpees with "Spider senses", knowing when whumper is approaching, feeling the tingle right before every new method of torture is used. Their senses going HAYWIRE when whumper is in the room, overwhelmed.
Whumpees letting out powerful bursts of kinetic energy when it gets too much, sending anything near them flying several feet away from them. Frustrating for whumper, sure, but even MORE dangerous for the caretaker trying to save the poor confused bomb waiting to go off.
Just yes <3
