YES ACTUALLY

Ice is really good for it, just for fifteen minutes at a time, but over an hour or two. This reduces swelling

Heating pads are really good too, they relax the muscles

On that note, a warm shower will do you good too

Ibuprofen is your friend, but make sure you read the label and only take the amount you are supposed to

Do neck stretches before AND after headbanging, it will help I promise

Though I'd also like to point out that if your neck is hurting after headbanging, it might be time to change up *how* you are headbanging. Lots of different ways to do it, some are better than others. The simple options though are 'short and fast' or 'big and slow'. These both help prevent neck injuries and concussion type injuries (cause you *can* get those from headbanging too hard)
