Imagine if when CX2 is revealed who he is and it actually is tech, Wrecker gets his depression arc??? What if Wrecker tries to go off on his own to save Tech, since he definitely blames himself and needs to make this right? What if Wrecker ends up getting shot/badly hurt while trying to capture Tech to find a way to get him back? WHAT IF TECH REALIZES THAT THATS HIS LITTLE BROTHER AND HE SNAPS OUT OF IT TO SEE WRECKER BLEEDING ON THE GROUND UNCONSCIOUS???
sorry but now I am enraptured by the thought of william miles post desmond having the balls and gaul to even get funky downtown and managed to accidentally create a baby with a woman who’d at least be like what? 20 almost 30 years younger than him? 😭
The William Miles Gets A Woman Knocked Up Grieving Desmond’s Death idea for those curious.
Okay…
He supposedly left the Brotherhood 6 months after Desmond’s death and there’s no info on what he did during that time. The next time he’s ‘seen’, it was in 2014 when he returned to the Brotherhood but he was sorta-kinda still hiding and hard to contact, finally fully returning to the role of mentor in 2015.
So this means we got around 1 and a half year for Bill to go on his grieving bender (more if we want to believe Bill would sleep around while he’s working ‘part time’).
According to CDC’s birth rates by age groups, at around 2013 to 2014, the highest age group is from 25-29. The next highest age group is actually 30-34.
Why is this important?
Bill was born around 1948, making him 64 when Desmond died, 64~66 from 2013 to 2014.
Meaning that there’s a possibility that the woman Bill knocked up may actually be 40ish years younger than him. XD
I’ll give you guys my number one reason why I think the Stepmother is a Warlock whose patron is Rumplestilskin just to prove this isn’t a crackpot theory:
1. The loss of her name.
Idk if any of you guys have read Rumplestiltskin, but that story perfectly details the power of names. After all, knowing his name is the only thing that allows the Miller’s Daughter to break the curse.
And so when I heard Donal go “she had a name before that but now none of us can remember what it was” my mind instantly clocked Rumplestiltskin as her potential patron. The Stepmother clearly wanted some form of power after seeing what the Fairy Godmother did to Cinderella and I think cannibalizing her daughters—her firstborns—was the key to calling him forth and asking for that power. In exchange, she had to shed her name the way Rumple did.
Because as we saw from Pinocchio’s flashback…names have power. And often times in fairytales especially, they’re used to break curses and stop the bad guys.
So yeah, the Stepmother is absolutely a Warlock of Rumplestiltskin, or at least was granted power by him or through him.
OFF SCREEN DEATHS DONT COUNT. TECH IS FINE. DONT WANT TBB IF YOU DONT WAT TO CRY UNCONTROLLABLY. THE IMPERIAL SAID HE COULD ONLY FIND GOGGLES SO TECHS BODY AINT THERE. HE MOVED. HES OK. DEEP BREATHS.
Stupid, stupid, why did I think the police would be of any help?
"All we've been able to find so far is a destroyed camera."
I didn't ask you to find proof he was in the woods, I know he went towards that damn mountain after the sky turned vibrant to "catch the scoop before anyone else".
okayokayhbnkd imagine you’re like this chef right? or maybe you own a cafe???? idk. bUT !! basically you own whatever it is i decide later on and have a pretty secluded business that is well-received with a steady flow of customers & regulars. ppl enjoy the stuff you give them, you get money, everyone’s happy !!
but. what they don’t know is after you close at 8 pm, your business opens to those not of this world & non-humans alike. vampires? check. wizards? check. elves? check. monarchs and heirs of empires and kingdoms? check. immortals? check. mythical creatures? check.
and the list of what everyone perceives as fantasy goes on. sure, the place gets more rowdy and troublesome compared to when humans dine there, but you can’t deny the fact you hear a lot of.... rather interesting stories when they come. and they enjoy your food! a big w if you say so yourself.
(what you fail to realise from your ever so loyal regulars is that it’s not your food they come back for — though they won’t deny that’s part of it — but rather it’s you that unknowingly draws them back time and time again)
“Lockwood,” I said, “I need to apologize. About recently. I’ve not been myself.”
It was a tight corridor; we walked almost side by side, following the beam of light. His voice was calm and quiet in the dark. “Well, neither have I,” he said. “After what happened at the Wintergarden house, I’m afraid I haven’t treated you very well. I know I might’ve seemed standoffish. It’s just—” he took a deep breath—“I didn’t trust myself to be with you. I was too anxious about what might happen.”
I stepped carefully over a fallen stone. Water was pooling around our feet. “Um, what might happen in exactly what sense?”
“In an operative situation, when our lives were in danger. Your Talent is just so extraordinary, Lucy—yes, we go left here; I know it looks like sewage, but it’s algae, mostly—I mean, I heard you talking to that thing just now. It’s getting easier for you, isn’t it? It’s not just the skull anymore. It’s unique, your Talent, but it makes you so vulnerable. And I have to look out for you.”
Something knotted tightly in my chest. In the dark of my mind I saw again the palely smiling face. “No, Lockwood, you really don’t. You mustn’t. It’s not your responsibility to—”
“But it is, Luce. Look, I know I don’t talk about it, but it’s happened to me before. Losing someone dear to me. I can’t let it happen again.”
Headcanon: As a whole, one of the group’s favorite things about Vance is his honesty. If he’s asked his opinion on a subject, he’ll be as bluntly honest as anyone possibly could. He’d rather crush someone with a hard truth than give them false hope with a lie. He doesn’t care if you’re his best friend or his current romantic partner. He’ll tell you exactly what he thinks regardless of how they take it. Gwen, Amy, Donna, Robin, Billy, Griffin, Finney and Bruce all love that he never sugarcoats it either. He’s direct and tells them everything they need to know about his point of view in as few words as possible
OH I believe in this.
Vance is not a person to beat around the bush. If he doesn’t like something, he voices that. He doesn’t lie about how he feels, but he may downplay his problems and emotions, e.g., “I’m doing fuckin’ awful but it’s nothing.”
Talking about the autistic Vance hc (im making it canon) especially on Christmas, he’s very honest if he likes something or not. He’s not expressive at all, so if he doesn’t like something he just says that but if he does like something then he’ll smile just a bit or something.
