Be Kind to HumanKind Week

Be Kind to Humankind Week is an annual worldwide celebration of kindness from August 25th-31st.

A lot of you expressed interest, but since no one gave me any ideas of how they'd like to see it celebrated in the fandom this year, I'm going to keep it simple!

I challenge you (yes, you) to send at least ONE kind message every day during the last week of August. You can send it anon or not. (I personally sometimes like getting anon positive messages because the mystery of behind it means it can be from anyone.) They do not have to be long messages, short and sweet is just as good. You just want to let the person know you are thinking about them. I do challenge you to try to message someone you haven't talked to in a while, or perhaps someone you've never talked to but have seen on your dash. Let's try to spread kindness to as many people as we can during this week!

If you get anon hate this week, delete it. Don't reply. Don't let it get to you. The only thing that matters this week (and always) is kindness! And to everyone who is sending anon hate, I challenge you to take the week off and think about what you're doing. I'm sure you can find something else to do with your time. Maybe even try sending a kind anon message!

You don't need to tag me or anything, this event is really just about spreading kindness, not keep track of anything.

hello I’m back with another request and a song suggestion to go with it which is Beginners by Slow Club. Can I request a fluffy one shot with smut (mainly Y/N keeping Erens length warm) for Eren x Fem!Reader where Eren woke up from his nap on the couch with Y/N keeping his length and nude body warm and her dress covering his lower half after having their little vanilla session. Then Eren began playing with Y/Ns hair and giving her sweet kisses causing her to wake up from her sleep before noticing he’s been playing with her hair. Few things brought as much comfort to Eren's soul as waking up to you, bodies pressed tight together. Your warmth felt affectionate and safe, just like the sun kissing his skin.

Hints of intimacy showed in how disheveled his hair was; it was almost knotty. He never fixed this knottiness himself, he always waited for you to wake up, because he loved when your hands would entangle into his hair and comb it neat again.

He thought of this, and while he did, his hands found their way into your hair, and he tried to do the same; disentangle the mess. You breathed gently against his firm frame, still stuck in a pleasant dream, oblivious to Eren's fingers as they combed through your locks.

His face was so cutely puffy after waking, and his eyes were bleary and filled with remnants of dreams. But when his gaze lowered onto your sleeping self, they filled with tenderness.

Pangs of affection encouraged his lips to press against your skin - to kiss you everywhere, not just once or twice, but everywhere all at once. Oh, sometimes he got carried away with kissing, especially when you two cooked dinner.

The sun rose higher and let its light spill into the living room. Your mind finally freed from the captivity of dreams when Eren pressed more kisses to your cheeks.

Your eyes blinked open, and Eren noticed. He withdrew his lips but kept his fingers laced into your hair.

"Is my princess finally done dreaming?" Eren teased, beginning to twirl a lock of your hair around his finger.

You let out a sleepy hum.

The two of you shared quiet morning talk and listened to the birds chirp excitedly about the new day.

But it was quite a cold new day. The birds didn't mind, sure, but Eren did; he was awfully sensitive to the cold.

"Princess, 'need you to warm me up a bit." Eren spoke in a low, sultry tone.

"Okay." You smiled against his chest.

He repositioned himself and, with two big hands, grabbed your waist rather hungrily and placed you snugly into his lap. If he could lay like that between your legs for the rest of his life, he would be the happiest man alive.

Eren let out an erotic sigh at the slight friction between your hips and his. Small movements of your pelvis against his pelvis always got him hard in an instant. That's just the effect you had on him.

In a moment, he had his length sinking cozily inside you. Warm, pleasant, soft... his mind ran with adjectives he could ascribe to you. What good thing did he do in his past life to deserve an angel like you?

When he looked up at you, he thought of royalty, because that's how you looked to him in the sunlight with flowers strung in your hair.

Eren's hand came to reposition your flower crown, as it sat lopsided, but you plucked it off your head and placed it on his instead.

"I like better on you." You said.

Eren took a glance at your lips, and squirmed his hips under your weight a little. Oh, all the urges he had to fight to not move more than that. You could feel him pulsing deep inside you.

"I don't really like flowers." Eren admitted, "Unless they're on you."

"Thank you..." You said, curling your lips into a small smile.

As if you read Eren's mind, you brought your lips to his and pressed them together tenderly. One kiss always lead to another, and you found yourself pecking down his neck and to his bare shoulders.

Those little saccharine kisses of yours earned a few feathery sighs from Eren.

"You're getting me all worked up." Eren teased.

"Sorry." You smiled cheekily up at him from his chest.

You rested your chin comfortably on the dip between his breast plates. Eren's arms squeezed you like he was afraid to stop embracing your body.

The sun finally filled the living room, and after scrambling together coffees and waffles, you cozied up with Eren for some Saturday morning reruns.

if you're crying, he will let you sink into his arms and he will whisper sweet nothings into your ears until you are ready to talk

he will never rush you when you are in this sort of state, that would just make things worse

he will wait until you are ready and in the meantime try to get you to drink some water

will usually let you talk it out over some cuddles

Seong Mo & Ji Soo deserved better!!!

I vent on this post about it

Seong Mo shouldn't be the culprit. Kang Geun Tae should be the one who killed the women and putted the fire. I had suspected Sung Mo during the series, in a flashback inside the building when the father said to a boy with black clothes to take care of An. And after that they both fell from the building. But it shouldn't be him. And Ji Soo should be alive.

I understand that Ji Soo's death happened so her father doesn't have anything else to lose and surrender and uncover the corruption. But it's so much heartbreaking that she had to die for that to happen!!😭 And that's why I think it's so sad and unfair. Ji Soo should be alive and well and in a relationship with Seong Mo (who wouldn't be the culprit). She should be endangered or in a comma and be okay later. That would also push her father to deside to surrender and uncover the corruption.

Eddie studies Buck from the seat across from him, noting how oddly reserved his best friends been all night. They’re sat outside on the deck of the restaurant, twinkly lights surrounding them, the crisp summer breeze blowing through the air.

It’s their first date, one of many Eddie hopes, though he isn’t sure Buck quite feels the same.

Bucks random facts have been all but absent tonight, Eddie unable to read him for what seems like the first time ever.

As Bucks legs shake beneath the table, Eddie reaches his hand across it to place it over Bucks. He brushes the pad of his thumb over the back of Bucks hand, waiting until he’s captured the man’s attention.

“Hey, everything ok?”

Buck straightens up right away, throwing on his overly-excited face, the one he usually uses to camouflage his true feelings.

“Yea, yea of course! I just—I’m really happy to be here…with you.”

Eddie agrees wholeheartedly, though he can’t help but to feel something’s still off.

“Me too Buck.” He squeezes Bucks hand, pulling it towards him to place a soft press of his lips across Bucks knuckles. Buck doesn’t pull back, his blues gleaming in the night light, a shy smile spreading across his face. Well, Eddie must be doing something right.

Once the bill is taken care of, Eddie insisting because he’d asked Buck on the date, they head to the truck hand in hand, Eddie pressing another series of kisses to Buck’s fingers before opening the door for him and moving round to his side.

The drive back is quiet, though Buck takes Eddie’s hand in his, mindlessly tracing patterns into it.

He pulls into Bucks lot, the two of them jumping out, walking hand in hand to the door. Buck uses his key to open the loft, Eddie following him into the kitchen.

Eddie watches as Buck leans against the island, staring at the vase of flowers, lost in some sort of trance. He can still remember the look Buck had when Eddie had produced them only hours ago, Eddie practically having to guide him to put them down and into a vase.

“Do you not—like them? Or, maybe I should’ve gotten you different ones?”

He’d gone with the sunflowers because they reminded him of Buck; beautiful, bright, and always sunny.

“No, no, they’re—they’re perfect Eds, really. I just umm…” Buck mumbles the next words, though Eddie’s pretty sure he catches them anyway.

“No one’s ever gotten flowers for you before?”

Buck gives a slight shake of his head, looking away from Eddie as he answers.

“Never.”

Well, that just won’t do.

Eddie rounds the island so that he’s stood right in front of Buck, lifting his hand to Buck’s chin, titling it toward him.

“Everyone deserves to get flowers Buck, especially you.”

Eddie leans in to brush their noses together, Bucks hands coming over his hips to grasp on as their lips meet. It’s their first kiss, one of many Eddie hopes, and by the way Buck opens up to him, he knows Buck does too.

“Why um, why the sunflowers?”

Eddie places another tender kiss to Buck’s lips before responding, looking from the flowers then back to Buck again.

“Because they remind me of you. They’re sunny and bright.”

Buck smiles, leaning into him further, Eddie pressing his lips to Buck’s ears.

“You’re golden, Buck.”

Eddie never shows up without flowers after that, always bringing some array of sunflowers, even adding in some blue daisies, telling Buck all about how they match his eyes. If he wore a mix of the flowers on his tux during their wedding, we’ll that was just for Buck, his best friend, husband, his everything.

Today is the last day of August 2022 - probably the longest (and most exhausting) August of my entire life. Things have been intense, they may even have been a bit... Dramatic. However, through all the pain, through all the tiring moments, please do not ever forget to see the sun as well. See the good people in your life. See their passions, see the happy moments you share with them and do not let the sad, the exhausting stuff dictate how you feel. Don’t let it taint what you love. Try your best to spread kindness, goodness, love and don’t let the misery take over. Because you only have that one life - so be courageous and make it a place to feel comfortable in. You deserve all the sunflowers in your life.

August 2023: “August slipped away into a moment in time..”

Hi, friends. I know I am two days late, but know that I had been thinking of how to write everything in one go! I was just living in each moment and as T. Swift’s song goes: August slipped away into a moment in time, August sipped away like a bottle of wine!

This month went by so fast. I felt the most disconnected (outside of work), but also felt the most uncertain, AND AND AND felt like the most ‘I lived in the moment’ this year!

So many things happened and it’s all etched in my heart. 🤍 I don’t know how to best share in detail, but my 🇦🇺 trip was the highlight of Aug (maybe this year too?? Too early to say hehe). I seriously can’t even remember where I left off before the trip LOL I will recollect myself when I land tomorrow night.

I had so many firsts this trip and here are the only things I remember now:

1. Trimmed the people I am following. I did a deleting spree during the trip and it felt so good. To date I unfollowed more than 300 accounts already, and I am not yet done! Sweeepppp! Even my screentime’s down since I left. I didn’t even need to intentionally lessen it. Wow. 👌🏼

2. My best 40-min walk and 1:1 with God this yr. Royal Botanic Garden will now have a special place in my heart. My favorite key takeaway (cos I have several) is this: deeper grasp of Jesus, so I can let go of what’s in my grasp. Haaaaa so freeing. I love You Lord. Thank You for not letting go of me and for being personal and intentional in my life.

3. First solo trip for a week before everyone else arrived. I’ve done 1-2 days headstart in my travels before so this one’s the longest solo flight for me. I had a lot of praning moments and weird encounters with homeless people (I’ll probably post my thoughts on this one some other time), but I had a major realization: I enjoyed some parts where I owned my alone time (Stillness Is The Key daw eh!), but company is really critical for me. HAHAHA at some point I told a friend I might go insane if my other colleagues don’t arrive yet hahaha don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind eating alone, I CAN do it. I just PREFER having more interactions with actual people. Hehe tours got me going hehehe

4. First wedding overseas - this should be part of Sept highlights, but deserves to be part of my August review! It was so good from pre-wedding activities to the wedding itself. Very well-planned, everything was very well-thought of 🥹. All the details were just amazing. Special shoutout to my DMT BBs! Thank you for letting me witness it and for letting me participate in the program! I love you!

5. All the other firsts!!!! I posted some already but there’s a whole lot more. Acccckkk. Thank You God for the whole new experience hehe

6. August songs! I would always have a song I will keep replaying until I get tired of it, but this August I had two! It’s still with me now this Sept, but let’s see. I love Sarah G’s Your Universe version and also, I only did a serious listening of T. Swift’s Daylight this August. I love both so much. 🥹🤍 so good. Well mostly because of the lyrics hehe but the tunes and melody sobrang bagay sa lyrics huhu ganda. Plus I feel like this month’s theme is all about sunlight, sunflowers, and wonders. And I agree with Taylor, it feels like a golden hour for me!!! 🥰🌻☀️✨

I can go on and on, but this is it for now. I am so excited it is a BER month na when I get back! I love Christmas In Our Hearts! Yeheeeeey I hope they play it on the plane 😅
