Ethan was never particularly fond of board games—the competition they offer is certainly appealing, but he finds most of the bestsellers dumb and pointless. It’s hard to track down a decent game that exercises his brain and has a suitably high level of difficulty. He does enjoy all kinds of puzzles and word games though. E&T often indulge in Scrabble nights (meaning: Ethan is trying to beat Tiffany). 

Tiffany, on the other hand, doesn’t mind pointless fun no matter how cringeworthy it seems. Though board games might not be her first choice, she’s always on board (pun intended)—her competitive side wouldn't miss an opportunity to participate in whichever niche role-playing game Elijah is testing. The gang stopped playing Scrabble with her because she cannot be defeated (Ethan is doing his best to prove them wrong).
