The rumors of Lil Tay's passing were as fleeting as the smoke of a forgotten fire. Yet what had transpired between that fateful day and this musty chair in the far-flung interview room remained shrouded in a haze of unanswered questions. No one knew what had, or had not, been said under the weight of a relentless and piercing glare. All that could be known was that the Lil Tay of now was not the Lil Tay of then, the aftermath of death and rebirth inextricably intertwined and perhaps ultimately unknowable.

On 29th February 1904 the Pavilion Theatre, Glasgow, opened.
Designed by Bertie Crewe for Thomas Barrasford, the Pavilion Theatre opened at the corner of Renfield Street and Renfrew Street, Glasgow on the 29 February, 1904. It was regarded as luxurious for its time with its decor being described by the owners as “pure Louis XV”. An electrically operated sliding roof ensured good ventilation.
Performances in the early days were mainly variety, melodrama and pantomime. Many of the leading music hall artistes of the period appeared at the Pavilion, including Marie Lloyd, Little Tich, Harry Lauder, Florrie Forde, Will Fyffe, Sarah Bernhardt and a then unknown Charlie Chaplin.
Since the 1930s, the Pavilion began to host pantomimes with top name stars of the Scottish variety scene, such as Harry Gordon and Dave Willis. In more recent times it has produced plays, such as ‘The Sash’ and ‘The Steamie’.
The Pavilion Theatre is now the only privately run theatre in Scotland and one of a few unsubsidised independent theatres left in Britain.
“Defying all the odds, Glasgow’s Pavilion regularly purveys variety to this day. All the more remarkable as it is completely unsubsidised and receives no funding from the Scottish Arts Council and kindred bodies whose thoughts and cash are directed at higher cultural activities. It remains the last stronghold of a long music hall tradition in Europe’s City of Culture owing everything to a dedicated staff and patrons and nothing to the public purse.
With its imposing terra cotta facade, the Pavilion Theatre of Varieties was designed by Bertie Crewe in the grand manner for Thomas Barrasford. The domed ceiling was surmounted by an electrically controlled sliding roof for ventilation. Fine Rococo plasterwork on the circle, balcony and box fronts; decoration executed in pure Louis XV; handsome mahogany woodwork and the marble mosaic floor all lent the 1800 seat theatre an aura of splendour.
No less amusing than the dentist advertising in the Pavilion programme “painless extractions with nitrous oxide for 4/- (20p) or cocaine for 1/- (5p)”, were the press observations on the “fashionable company” which attended the Pavilion’s first house on 29th February,1904. We learn that “among the elite there was quite a preponderance of ladies and gentlemen of quality in evening dress”. Alas, class consciousness and respectability were all in Edwardian Britain!
The ‘forties and ‘fifties saw pantomime runs of sixteen weeks, the happy and hilarious summer seasons were emulated during the 1960s and early 1970s by Lex McLean. Another regular crowd puller to Renfield Street was Jack Milroy.
Lulu from Dennistoun (real name Marie Lawrie) broke box office records in 1975, Billy Connolly, Hector Nicol Andy Cameron portrayed their own distinctive brands of humour while Scottish songstresses Lena Zavaroni, , Sheena Easton, Lena Martell and Barbara Dickson also scored heavily with Pavilion audiences.
It was anything but plain sailing for the Pavilion and there was gloomy speculation of closure after incurring heavy financial losses in 1981. Spared the fate which befell the Queens, Metropole, Empire, Alhambra and Empress Theatres, the 80 years old Pavilion was rescued by James Glasgow and transformed into a modest profit maker. Smash-hit shows with Sydney Devine; spells from hypnotist Robert Halpern; pantomime with Denny Willis, and one night gigs from the foremost modern television entertainers have kept the cash tills registering.
The Pavilion also played a major role in the annual Mayfest – Glasgow’s International Festival of popular theatre, music, the arts and community programmes.
Little altered and virtually unspoilt since its inception, the seating capacity of 1449 is made up of 677 stalls, 341 circle, 413 balcony and 18 box seats. While the stiff shirts in chauffeur-driven cabs have given way to coach parties from the rural areas of Strathclyde and beyond, a policy of providing the best in live entertainment has been pursued consistently. The portents look good for the vibrant Pavilion Theatre of Varieties.”
The Pavillion is, in my view a survivor, even over the past few years tragedy has struck the area with a series of fires.

Long before Dave Myers, one half of the TV duo the Hairy Bikers, was hairy, or a biker, he was a cook. While still a child, he prepared family meals when his mother, a former shipyard crane driver, became so debilitated by multiple sclerosis she was scarcely able to leave her bed. “Dad and I became Mam’s carers, muddling through each day,” said Myers, who has died aged 66. “Sometimes I got out a cookbook and made a pie or a stew out of whatever ingredients we had in.”
His mother had been “a fabulous cook and was often preparing food while I played at her feet”. His father, the foreman of a local paper mill, would put little Dave on the saddle of his motorbike so he could pretend to ride. “I loved the smell of oil and machinery and rubber; just one whiff would set my pulse racing.”
But it was only half a lifetime later that Myers, after many years of working as a television makeup artist, managed to make an onscreen career by combining these two childhood passions. In 2004, when he was 45, Myers and his friend Simon King, a locations manager on the Harry Potter films, pitched their idea for a TV show focusing on motorbikes and food to the BBC. “It was midlife crisis time and you can’t have more of a midlife crisis than going off on a motorbike,” said Myers.
The show’s premise was that two burly, hirsute motorcyclists would visit foreign locales, often getting off their bikes to cook by the roadside. In the first episode of The Hairy Bikers’ Cookbook (2006), the pair motored through Namibia, stopping off to cook crocodile satay and oryx rolls.
This culinary travelogue ran across three series, taking them to Portugal, Vietnam, Turkey and Mexico, and became such a hit with the viewers that a memo circulated the BBC praising the two men for winning over “a difficult-to-reach audience”. “Basically a ‘difficult-to-reach audience’ translates as ‘normal people’,” said King.
The two self-taught cooks had a disarmingly unpretentious love of food and easy on-screen banter redolent of Keith Floyd, if less bibulous, or Clarissa Dickson Wright and Jennifer Paterson, if less posh. In a sense, Myers and King were the male northern riposte to the Two Fat Ladies. What’s more, their two fat lads were refreshing fare in the age of telegenic cooks such as Nigella Lawson or angry chefs like Gordon Ramsay.
Spin-off shows followed, including The Hairy Bikers’ Food Tour of Britain (2009), The Hairy Bikers: Mums Know Best (2010), The Hairy Bikers’ Mississippi Adventure (2012) and The Hairy Bikers’ Asian Adventure (2014), along with allied cookbooks and a 2015 memoir, The Hairy Bikers Blood, Sweat and Tyres.
What was the secret of their success? “We are mates, it’s not something that’s been manufactured,” said Myers. “We’re not snobby about food. We’re very happy with egg and chips, as long as it’s very good-quality eggs and good-quality potatoes. About 95% of good cooking is good shopping.”
They met by chance in a Newcastle pub in the 1990s when Myers was working there as makeup artist and prosthetics technician on an adaptation of Catherine Cookson’s The Gambling Man starring Robson Green. King, an assistant director on the project, was at the bar ordering a curry. The barman told King that if he ordered two curries he would qualify for a special offer: four poppadoms instead of one. “I just stepped up and said, ‘I’ll have the other curry’,” Myers said.
The pair cemented their friendship with road trips up the west coast of Scotland, travelling with a pan, a single-burner stove, some butter, a lemon and some brown bread. “We’d go up round Loch Assynt, up by Lochinver, and catch wild brown trout.” The idea for the television series was born from these trips.
But, while the Hairy Bikers became celebrated and their cookbooks successful, some worried that their recipes were unhealthy. Their banana French toast recipe, consisting of brioche, bananas, peanut butter and cream, was ominously dedicated to Elvis Presley. One critic suggested that their full-English shakshuka, featuring sausages, lardons and black pudding, “looks as if it should come with a diagram on how to administer CPR”.
Indeed, as their fame expanded, so did their waistbands. By 2012, Myers recalled, he was taking tablets for high blood pressure and to lower his cholesterol, and both he and King were diagnosed as being morbidly obese during a medical. He weighed 17st 12lb, with a 49in waist, while King weighed in at 19st 6lb, with a 50in waistline. “I was prediabetic; human foie gras, basically,” Myers said.
The diagnoses pushed them to make the series The Hairy Dieters: How to Love Food and Lose Weight. Both men lost 3st 7lb during filming and published their most successful series of books afterwards under the general title Hairy Dieters. “Doing it publicly was the thing that encouraged us to make it work. People admired the honesty. We sold about 1.3m copies of our first book. We learned an awful lot from it.”
The following year, 2013, Myers appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, performing a “Tartan tango” to the tune of The Proclaimers’ I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) with his dance partner, Karen Hauer, and becoming, in the words of the show’s judge Len Goodman, “the people’s champion”, winning the weekly popular vote despite sometimes low marks from judges and armchair critics deriding his “ungainly boogying”. He didn’t win, but the Hairy Biker received the longest standing ovation for, fittingly enough, a Meat Loaf-themed paso doble.
Myers, the only child of Jim and Margaret, was born in Barrow-in-Furness ( then in Lancashire but now in Cumbria) and attended the town’s grammar school for boys, where an inspirational teacher, Mr Eaton, encouraged him to develop his artistic skills. He took a fine art degree at Goldsmiths, University of London and a master’s degree in art history.
His first job was as a trainee makeup artist at the BBC. He worked there for 23 years, including a stint on Top of the Pops, before the Hairy Bikers got together. While filming the show in Romania, Myers met Liliana Orzac. “In our hotel there was a striking woman on reception. Nudging Si, I whispered: ‘I fancy her!’” They married in 2011.
In 2022, Myers announced on the podcast Hairy Bikers – Agony Uncles that he had been diagnosed with cancer. He and King made a moving return to the screen in The Hairy Bikers: Coming Home for Christmas in December 2023, in which they discussed his illness and treatment; and had filmed a new series, The Hairy Bikers Go West, which is currently screening on BBC Two, and which King described as “a celebration of a joyous and creative friendship”.
Myers is survived by Liliana and her children, Iza and Sergiu.

A few months ago I saw a photo of Zac Efron and I thought he looked awful. The normally good looking dude had a bloated face and his lips looked liked they were about to burst with too much filler.
Well, I’ve learned that photo must have been taken during the production of his new movie “The Iron Claw”. Efron must have been bulking up to play professional wrestler Kevin Von Erich.
Tumblr media
The movie a “based on the true story” of the Von Erich brothers, wrestlers who are beset by one tragedy after another.
Efron plays Kevin Von Erich, the second born son. He’s good in this dramatic role and he’s a better actor than his Himbo resume suggests. But he hasn’t abandon fans of his Himbo persona - Efron often appears on screen shirtless, just wearing speedo style wrestling briefs.
Tumblr media
But I didn’t think the movie was entirely successful. The movie recounts the various injuries, deaths, and suicides of Kevin Von Erich’s brothers. But they are often depicted off screen and in quick succession. As I watched, I thought it was sad, but I didn’t feel sad.
The film doesn’t delve too deeply into the cause of the tragedies. The most obvious culprit is what looks like the loveless environment the brothers were raised. Sure, the boys often talk about how much they love their parents and each other. But the parents come across as emotionless zombies.
Father Fritz (played by Holt McCallany from the series “Mindhunter”) ranks his sons by his “favorites”. He’s another one of those stage mothers who failed in achieving his own dream so he spends the rest of his life driving his sons to achieve it for him. His love comes with conditions that his sons can’t meet.
Mother Doris (played by Maura Tierney) is no better. Kevin asks his mom to intervene when he thinks the father is too hard on a younger brother Mike (played by Stanley Simons). Her answer is that the brothers need to work it out themselves (she’s too busy getting ready to go to church). Later she tells her sons that god loves them - but it’s substitute for real affection.
Another force behind the “curse” is depression that must run in the family. The brothers are told not to cry at a brother’s funeral. So they suppress their emotions, but the impact of the loss didn’t go away. Then when suicide is added to the mix, it plants the seed of possible escape for their unhappiness. (BTW, the movie doesn’t include the actual youngest brother Chris who also died by suicide).
As Kevin falls further down in order of his father’s “favorite” ranking, I kept wanting him to quit his career as a professional wrestler. I wanted him to take his wife and children as far away as possible from his emotionally stunted parents and away from professional wrestling. I think the artificiality of professional wrestling was a major contributor of the Von Erich curse, with its preordained outcomes, focus on brutality, and the condoning taking of steroids. But he didn’t. Three of Kevin’s children became professional wrestlers as well.
A couple additional notes:
Brother Kerry is played by Jeremy Allen White who stars in the TV series “The Bear”. I haven’t watched it (I don’t subscribe to Hulu) and I was curious what he was like as a performer. The jury is out…
Brother David is played by Harris Dickinson. I saw him in 2022’s “Triangle of Sadness” and did not recognize him. He was good but the curse got him too early in the film.
At some point an onscreen title mentions Kevin Von Erich is 6’2” tall. I had a silent chuckle because Efron is only 5’8”. Kerry Von Erich was also 6’2” but Jeremy Allen White is even shorter at 5’7”.
Harris Dickson and Stanley Simons, who play brothers David and Mike, are 6’2” and 6’1” respectively. This explains why Efron and White needed to sit on the fence for this publicity shot.

Ambitious risk, dangerous consequence.
Warnings: torture of reader, blood, gore, detective! Harry, trainee cop! Y/n, gun violence, knife crime, angst, near SA
Synopsis: y/n wants to help her boyfriend, Harry, catch the main suspect in a act of violence and so she without harry’s knowledge goes under cover.
You were a trainee cop for your city and country, you didn’t do the tough business but your boyfriend- Harry did. He was a detective and did all the undercover business and kept the city safe and secure, he was truly a hero in your eyes. However lately he had been more stressed than usual, you knew briefly of what was wrong but whenever you brought it up he would get very argumentative and upset and so you simply decided to back off from mentioning anything about his work.
However you couldn’t quite remain silent, he had come home that night visibly tired, dark bags under his eyes and he was in a pissy mood “Harry why aren’t you answering me?” You asked pain in your tone as you stared at the love of your life, you adored him but hated seeing him so… riled up. Something was bothering him but he wasn’t letting you in. He was pushing you out “H, please” you lightly touched his shoulder but he brushed you off walking away as he ran a hand through his curly hair. “Just stop it, y/n please. I’ve had a tough day and I’m exhausted. Can we not talk about work? Please” he said and you stared at him your jaw falling ever so slightly “I didn’t even mention work, harry” you said sadly and he sat down on the couch grabbing the remote “you’re hinting at it, y/n. I’m not stupid. I can see the look in your eyes… you want to know about the case but I’m not letting you know.” He snapped, his words harsh and you stared at him a little bit confused as you let out a soft concerned sigh “Harry I just want you to be okay.” You said and he turned on the tv not listening to you, obviously blocking you out and you sighed closing your eyes. You didn’t like seeing him so stressed, he had been like this for a long time and you being the concerned girlfriend that you were got in contact with his friend as well as your friend, asking about the case and he happily answered you. Giving you all the information you needed but Harry didn’t know that, of course he didn’t.
“Matteo Dickson.” You suddenly said Harry’s body tensing as he didn’t dare look at you, his grip on the remote control growing stronger as his breathing shook ever so slightly “suspect in five individual shootings, two knife crime incidents and multiple other things.” You continued, you knew you were pushing your luck but you needed him to know he could talk to you “what” he said the tv muted as he stared at you, the silence was thick- the tension in the room growing so much so you could’ve easily cut it with a knife “how’d you know? How did you find out?” He asked and you stared at him sadly “I’m sorry Harry, I was worried for your well-being. I spoke to Callum. He gave me all the information.” You explained calmly a sudden rage forming in his eyes that you hadn’t ever seen before as he sprung out of his chair his frame towering over you “what the fuck y/n? What the actual fuck? That is a breach of confidentiality!” He yelled his hands clenched and you stared at him “I know, harry-“ “NO! You don’t know anything! You’ve now been brought into the whole picture… I’ve been trying to keep this case far away from you!” He exclaimed his anger turning into what seemed like fear. “Why?!”
“Because I don’t want you getting killed by him! He’s targeted rookies like you… the rookies who knew him he killed because he could! And he got away with it because he left no trace! Is this what you wanted to hear y/n?! The fact that I didn’t want to share this information with you because I didn’t want to be attending your funeral next!” He yelled, fists clenched by his sides as he stared into your eyes, you gazed into his letting out a shaky breath. You didn’t say anything you simply wrapped your arms around him holding him close as you rubbed up and down his back slowly and gently “he won’t do anything to me… I promise.” You whispered to him quietly before pressing a kiss to his cheek “you wouldn’t let that happen anyway” you said softly and he forced a small smile, visibly upset about the whole situation but it would all burn out eventually… “just promise me you’ll look after yourself.” He said softly and you looked into his eyes cupping his cheek in your hand as you smiled softly “I promise.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A few weeks had gone by now, Matteo was still on the loose and Harry was even more tense. He was unhappy. This case was dragging him down and it had been doing that for far too long and it was getting to the point you were prepared to take it into your own hands, and well you’d do anything for Harry even if that meant risking your own life… you’d do anything and everything for him. You’d die for him. You’d jump in front of a train for him… he was your reason to live and survive. You wanted to repay him back and help him feel more secure about this case and after a while of thinking you decided you were going to help Harry feel more secure… you were going to go undercover.
Before you left the house you left Harry the leftover lasagna you had made in the fridge, you didn’t want him getting suspicious once he got home- besides on his night shifts he often came home to leftovers in the fridge so it would hopefully throw him off your trail. You got into your car, drove to the police station with nothing but confidence. You were going to fix this. You had spoken to Callum again, much against Harry’s orders to not talk to him and Callum had explained how they had an insight into where he was. He was apparently hosting a party. What better way than to disguise as a party goer and take Matteo down yourself... it would make Harry less paranoid, less anxious- less unhappy. You got out of your car making your way into the station, Callum awaiting at the desk, a plastic bag on the desk in front of him “y/n” he greeted and you smiled “hey, thank you for doing this for me i appreciate it” you said and he shook his head “no, thank you. You’re gonna possibly take this jackass down.” He said smiling and you nodded happily. “Oh bet your ass I’m gonna take him down.”
“Okay so in the bag is your outfit, a ear piece which we will talk to you through if you need to make a quick exit and you also have a pocket knife in there too” he explained and you nodded taking the bag “okay, great.” You smiled warmly before making your way into the girls bathroom as you immediately began changing your clothes, you slipped on the skimpy red glittery dress, popping in the ear piece into your ear and slipping the pocket knife into your boot. Maybe this was risky but you’d risk it all for Harry. For your city. For your country. You smoothed your hands over your dress checking yourself out in the mirror before running your fingers through your hair making sure your hair covered your ear so the clear ear piece was hidden from any lingering eyes, you then made your way out into the office again as Callum turned to look at you “you look great… you ready?” He asked and you grinned “ready as I’ll ever be.”
———————————
“Babe I’m home!” Harry called making his way into the house, kicking his shoes off as he placed his bag down onto the floor “I got take out… your favourite” he said, not realising he was talking to nothing but the air. He walked into the kitchen placing the bag of take out onto the counter top as he sat down on the table, maybe you were asleep? He decided not to go bother you and that he’d save you your food for breakfast. The house was quieter than usual and that weirded him out quite a bit, it was never usually this quiet. He could oftentimes hear the tv upstairs if you were asleep as he knew you couldn’t sleep without the sound of something playing but it was silence. He had a horrible gut feeling and so he dropped his fork onto his plate, standing up as he wiped his mouth with a piece of tissue before making his way towards the stairs “y/n! You up here?” He jogged up the stairs stopping just outside yours and his shared bedroom before he carefully pushed the door open not wanting to disturb you “babe are you-“ but he fell silent as he saw an empty bed, no sign of you and his heart sank… “shit… shit.. shit.” He pulled out his phone as he began to call you over and over again, but you didn’t answer. He tried not to freak out but he knew something wasn’t right.
The car was sat parked outside of the large building, lights flashing underneath the door as loud music thudded loudly. “Okay good luck y/n… go careful and just make sure he doesn’t catch onto you okay? And remember your pocket knife.” He said and you nodded “I will.”
You sighed shakily, stepping out of the car as you made your way to the big door, pushing it open as you walked in, the room reeked of alcohol and other substances sweaty bodies dancing against each other but you ignored that making your way through the busy crowd your eyes searching the room frantically for Matteo until your eyes landed on him and what you weren’t expecting was the fact he was staring straight at you. You turned your head “eyes on the target” you murmured, the wire under your dress capturing everything you said “okay good… keep going y/n you’re doing great.” You didn’t bother responding as the second you looked back to where he was he was gone, you silently cussed glancing around some more to try and get eyes on him again but a sudden tap on your shoulder grabbed your attention and you turned around “hey, thanks for coming to my party” his voice was chilled, light and somewhat happy. You couldn’t believe the fact that this was all happening… it was too good to be true “of course… Matteo right? Such a pleasure to meet you” you said beaming and he nodded his eyes seemingly searching the area before he looked back down at you “how about we go somewhere more private? I’ve got some drugs… if you want… or if you aren’t into that shit then we can just go have a drink” he offered and you smiled “sure, a drink sounds good”
~
“She’s doing pretty good. Didn’t think she’d be this confident” Callum said to Kieran, both officers sat in the back of a black van making sure they were out of sight from anyone suspicious. But before Callum could say much more his phone was ringing and he immediately answered it “hey Harry, what’s up?” He said nonchalantly. “Callum where’s y/n? I know somethings happened. Don’t lie to me okay? Just- where is she.” Harry asked sounding terrified for his girlfriends safety “look-“ Harry cut him off “no- do not look me Callum. I swear to god if she gets hurt with whatever bullshit you put her up to I will kill you.” He spat out anger and panic within his tone only growing and growing “harry. She’s capable of looking after herself she’s fine.” Callum said before hanging up, he didn’t take it seriously, the fact that you could easily be killed by Matteo and Harry didn’t know exactly what was going on but he knew Callum’s foolishness could lead to trouble.
~
“Matteo stop”
Your voice was weak as you tried to shove him off of you, you had been foolish enough to drink with him and he had slipped a drug into your drink- you didn’t drink much but it was enough to do something to your head. “Why baby? Don’t you like this?” He asked, his tone sick and dangerous “please” you begged “stop it” you said once again and as he stared into your eyes he leaned down again kissing all over your neck but suddenly he froze as he seemed to change and he sighed “okay- fine.” He then got up off of you, holding his hand out for you to take and you stared at him for a moment or two confused as to why he gave up so easily- as you took his hand he helped you up, looking into your eyes as he smiled something dangerous flicking within his gaze “I thought you were one of the good ones.” He said, confusion forming on your face but before you could even respond he slipped a hand under your dress, making you squirm, his fingers grasping at the wire lining your back before he yanked it down pulling the wire out and your ear piece “you working with the cops huh? You piece of fucking shit” his fist connected with your jaw, your body falling to the floor, the sound of metal scraping against the floor grabbing your attention as you shielded your face scared he was going to punch you again but he yanked you up by your hair, shoving you down onto a chair he had brought over, handcuffs were cuffed to the arms of the chair… blood stained the metal of them and your heart sank. Someone else had been in this situation prior to you, maybe this was a dumb idea… you should’ve thought more clearly. He cuffed your wrists to the chair staying deadly silent as he glared at you.
“Scream all you want… no one will hear you… the music here never stops.” He said staring down at you and you stared at him keeping a stern face not daring to show emotion and within a blink of an eye he slapped you harsh across the face, your head whipping to the side as your eyes watered “who set you up hm?” He asked gripping onto your jaw but you remained silent and he didn’t like that as he pulled out a knife pushing it against your neck, adding just enough pressure to make you bleed a little bit the droplet of blood trickling down your skin “n-no one.” You said softly and he grinned at you “don’t be silly… you came here for a reason” he said with a laugh as he pushed the knife further into your skin “okay! Okay! It was me… I wanted to try and solve and stop you.” You admitted, the pressure of the knife disappearing from your neck and he stared at you “oh really? Interesting”
Hours seemed to pass as you were beaten and cut, Matteo not stopping his torture “are you a cop hm?” He asked and you stared at him through your puffy bruised eyes “yes…” you managed to splutter out and he smirked “oh, good…. Gives me another reason to kill you.”
He gripped onto your jaw “you obviously didn’t do you research properly missy. I’m a cop killer… I kill each and every cop. Women, men… you name it… you’re the pigs in society.” He spat out before he using the tip of his foot to kick the chair over, your head hitting the rock hard floor as your vision went blurry for a few seconds, a gunshot sounding and you sobbed in complete terror. Was this the track to heaven? Were you dead?
Your vision was blacked out you couldn’t see a thing but you could hear things around you, a sudden warmth wrapped around your wrist as the handcuffs were removed from your wrists. “Is she dead?” A fearful voice asked as two fingers pressed against your neck “no- I’ve got a pulse… she’s alive” Callum’s voice said. Were you safe? Your brain spun and spun so much so you struggled to have any recollection of what was happening “harry” you whimpered weakly hearing a soft assuring voice whisper back a quiet “I’m right here… right here.”
You awoke to a bright light above your head, “y/n” Harry stood up gazing down at you “where am I?” You asks tiredly and he gently cupped the back of your head “in a hospital sweetheart” he said and you nodded slightly your eyes soon locking with his, you knew what had happened… you had perfect knowledge of it but you were embarrassed “I’m sorry” you said and he simply smiled “don’t be. You helped catch Matteo… hes dead now…. But please focus on healing you’re my only priority” He explained and you nodded slightly half of you upset he got the easy way out and half of you happy he wouldn’t torment everyone ever again “I’m sorry for being foolish… I just wanted you to be okay.” You said quietly and he gazed down at you a soft smile on his face “I’m just glad you’re okay y/n… yes you were foolish but you also saved a lot of grief and pain from this city… you’re a real hero. You realise that right?” He said and you looked at him “I am?” And he nodded pressing a kiss to your forehead “yes, yes you are.”
