It feels like AGES since i've just sat still and listened to music- but probably Hurt by the hound + the fox, i really like Meet Mom which is a piece from the Chicago Fire soundtrack (it has an AMAZING soundtrack yall), Out of Harm's Way which is by some of the Chicago Fire cast and it plays on a loop in my head (i need more firefighter themed songs!!!) I like The Truth by James Blunt, and Haloes by Ina Wroldson

“Impossible - James Arthur”

Impossible is een nummer van de Britse zanger en muzikant James Arthur. Hij heeft meegedaan aan The X Factor en won daarbij in 2012. Het nummer is uitgebracht op 9 december 2012. De schrijvers van het lied zijn Arnthor Birgissen en Ina Wroldson. Het is geproduceerd door  Birgisson. Het nummer is oorspronkelijk van zangeres en songwriter Shontelle. De X Factor- winnaar James Arthur bracht een coverversie van het nummer uit na het winnen van de negende reeks van de talentenjacht in december 2012. Het werd kort na zijn overwinning uitgebracht en bereikte nummer één in het VK en Ierland, en kwam ook in de top terecht. tien in 20 andere landen. Met ingang van 2017 heeft het meer dan 1.310.000 exemplaren verkocht in het VK. Impossible betekent letterlijk in het Nederlands Onmogelijk.  De melodie moet in een gematigde toon en tempo worden gespeeld. De achtergrondtrack van het nummer bestaat uit een eenvoudige akkoordprogressie.  Ik wilde gewoon een liedje uitbrengen dat mensen hoop gaf - dingen lopen misschien niet zoals je wilt, maar je kunt er voorbij komen en alles komt goed.  In de eerste week verkocht de single 489.560 exemplaren, waarmee het de snelst verkopende single van 2012 in het VK was. Het nummer bereikte ook een hoogtepunt op nummer één in Ierland, nummer twee in zowel Australië als Zwitserland en nummer één in Slowakije. Er was ook wel wat kritiek toen hij het nummer uitbracht.  Robert Copsey van Digital Spy gaf het nummer een positieve recensie en verklaarde: "Natuurlijk is het nemen van zo'n beslissing op basis van zijn overwinningssingle - een cover van Shontelle's hit 'Impossible' uit 2010 - een zinloze oefening. Het nummer, dat ooit buitenspel stond. voormalig finalist Cher Lloyd , is ontdaan van zijn R&B sassiness en herwerkt tot een opzwepende ballad, alleen gered door Arthur's trillende en moedige stem. Gelukkig voor hem is dat in dit stadium het enige dat telt.  In het Verenigd Koninkrijk heeft "Impossible" meer dan 187.000 downloads verkocht tijdens de eerste 24 uur dat het werd verkocht; waardoor Arthur de snelst verkopende winnaar in de geschiedenis van X Factor is . Tegen het einde van de week waren er meer dan 490.000 exemplaren van de track verkocht, genoeg om op nummer één van de UK Singles Chart te debuteren ; het behalen van de grootste omzet in de eerste week van het jaar.  Arthur's versie van "Impossible" was ook de best verkochte single van 2012 in de Republiek Ierland, waar het in 2012 kerstnummer één werd, met "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" met een piek op nummer vier. De track werd ook wereldwijd een groot succes en stond bovenaan de hitlijsten in Tsjechië, Griekenland, Luxemburg en Slowakije. Het bereikte ook nummer twee in Australië, Nieuw-Zeeland, Spanje en Zwitserland, nummer drie in België, nummer vier in Oostenrijk, nummer vijf in Duitsland en nummer zes in Frankrijk en Hongarije. INA WROLDSEN VERÖFFENTLICHT NEUES VIDEO ZU „REMEMBER ME“

Bereits mit siebzehn Jahren nahm Ina Wroldson erfolgreich an TV-Talentwettbewerben in ihrer Heimat Norwegen teil. Nach ihrem Umzug nach London machte sich die Norwegerin als erfolgreiche Songwriterin einen Namen, so steuerte sie u.a. acht Stücke zum Debütalbum „Chasing Lights“ der Saturdays bei, darunter zwei Top Ten-Hits. Auch beim Puccycat Dolls-Erfolg „Hush Hush“ hatte sie ihre Finger im Spiel. In den folgenden Jahren zählten viele große Namen und Shootingstars zu den Abnehmern ihrer Kompositionen, darunter Leona Lewis, Pixie Lott, One Direction, Alexandra Burke, Rag'n'Bone Man, Shakira, Melanie C, Britney Spears und Calvin Harris („How Deep Is Your Love“), bei einige Produktionen wirkte sie als Backgroundsängerin mit. Einer ihre größten Erfolge war der Song „Impossible“, den sie ursprünglich 2010 für Shontelle verfasst hatte, der zwei Jahre später in der Version von „The X Factor“-Sieger James Arthur zum Welthit wurde. Nach dem Leadtrack der EP, „Sea“, liegt nun mit „Remember Me“ ein weiterer Song vor. „Wenn du im Musikbusiness überleben willst und kreativ sein möchtest, dann must du dir eine Elefantenhaut zulegen”, erklärt Ina Wroldson. „Es gibt so viele Meinungen und so viele Menschen sagen dir, wer du bist und was du machen sollst. ‚Remember Me‘ handelt davon, dich zu erinnern, wer du bist. Ich richte mich damit sowohl an mich selbst als auch an meine ‚Unterdrücker‘. Und ein kleines bisschen Rache ab und zu schadet auch nicht. Ich bin dem Song dankbar – er ist ein überfälliger Reminder. Funfact: ‘Remember Me’ basiert auf meiner Lieblings-Arie ‘Didos Lament’ aus Henry Purcells ‘Dido and Aneaes’. Dido will sich umbringen, weil Aneaes nach Afrika aufgebrochen ist. Martin Solveig Going “Places”

Parisian DJ, songwriter and music producer, Martin Solveig’s newest single ‘Places’, featuring Norwegian singer Ina Wroldson, is going places on radio charts globally.

Inseparable from the French electro scene, the DJ has paved way for many a hits like “Intoxicated”, “+1”, and “Do It Right”. Having played alongside EDM heavyweights like Diplo, Flume, Clean Bandit, the Parisian beat-maker is already at the top of his game. For his latest single ‘Places’ released last year November, he has teamed up with Ina Wroldson, whose vocals are recognizable from Calvin Harris’ ‘How Deep Is Your Love’.

With sweet inserts of piano alongside a majorly banging bassline and flowing percussive elements, Solveig’s ‘Places’ features his signature big room production style. The official video for the single offers an ode to the escape to the picturesque island of Ibiza, with the discovery of scenes in the hot Spanish city through the wanderings of top American model Arizona Muse, who is plagued by melancholic thoughts that contrasts with the festive atmosphere of Ibiza.
