6. do you have any ship bias with your muse?

My ship biases tend to be writing partners who reply to threads and, if inclined, plot and/or chat with me OOC about our ships, fandom, life in general, etc. Overall, it's that simple for me! While my DR canon ship preference for Sonia is Sonia/Gundham, it doesn't mean it's my bias. Most of my favorite ships for her on this blog are with crossover and OC muses: to the point that I don't think I have active ship threads/interactions with DR canon muses right now.

I don't like bothering mutuals too much if they aren't terribly chatty about their muses and threads, but for me, replying to threads and plotting/sharing excitement about the ship really is how I maintain interest in writing them. I just try to be as invested in the ship as my writing partner is: it doesn't always work, but it's generally a good rule to follow.

22. is there any ship you will likely never play?

Beyond my list of NOTPs I listed in another reply, I wouldn't enjoy playing anything yandere long-term. Same thing goes for Remnant of Despair-verse threads or anything with abuse (sexual is already a firm no, physical and emotional are also very likely nos unless I really trust a mun and it's plotted). Unless I had something cheerful to counter it, I think: I think it would be a problem for my mood. And in Sonia's case, she can't do polyamorous relationships: it would never last for her, and she'd be deeply insecure the whole time. And while I would write cheating threads with her, those have the potential to break a relationship for good with her. A very high potential: it really needs to be plotted. Tread carefully.

39. does your muse have a celebrity crush?

This is really funny to consider! Mostly because Sonia just isn't the person to fall in love with celebrities: because she spends so much of her life being put on a pedestal for her looks, her wealth, her royal status, etc. she is deeply uncomfortable doing that to someone else. To the point that when it comes to actors in dramas, movies, and so forth, she's far more likely to be a fan of the character they're playing rather than the actor themselves. It's also why Sonia never really got into idols or idol culture: she finds the idea of idols, hosts, and other careers that pretty much rely on fan worship to be insincere at best, bordering on offensive at worst. She's likely taking it a bit personally at times, considering how often people praise her and value her for things that either fade or will eventually be unimportant. When it comes to musicians, actors, and others in similar professions, she might like their line of work: their songs or movies or what have you, but not really be obsessed with them as people.

tl;dr - If your muse is a musician/singer, actor, model, or some other sort of celebrity, it is very unlikely Sonia will have a crush on them for those reasons. She actually has to get to know them.

I think the closest 'celebrity' that would qualify on this blog would be @dxfiedfxte's Minato, honestly. Mostly as Sonia had been a fan of his show Paranormal Quest long before they met, and when they did she was far more of a fan of his show and in love with his job, as opposed to crushing on him as a person. It took her awhile to untangle those feelings later on, that she wasn't just in love with what he does but with Minato himself.

His interest in the paranormal did help attract her to him, though. Someone who not only doesn't find her hobbies dumb or dismissive of them but actually likes them? And not just to impress her? That's rare, where Sonia's concerned.

Sonia's real 'celebrity' crushes are, more often than not, fictional characters: attractive vampires, demons, other supernatural creatures, otome game heroes, Dracula, Sir Thomas Sharpe (from Crimson Peak), Gomez Addams (basically her dream spouse as a child), and Jack Skellington? She loves them.

Basically give her a combo of tall, dark, brooding, possibly flirty, adventurous, possibly dealing with past trauma, good with animals and/or people, encourages/has an interest in her hobbies and passions, deep down probably a good person even if they likely don't realize it yet, and someone whose affections she actually has to earn and doesn't just offer them blindly because she's royalty?

Yeah. She's all about those sorts of characters. She might be a princess but she's also a fan of 2D love interests. Let her go to fan conventions and she will invest in way too much merchandise. The thirst is real: especially when her own love life proves to be disappointing.

This takes place after the second class trial

You have had your eye on Gundham since you've all arrived at the island. Ever since the free times you've had, you always spent them with Gundham. If not Gunham, then Kazuichi, which made Kazuichi a bit upset since all I did was talk about Gundham, and Kazuichi wasn't really fond of him. Since the killings have started to happen, you've only grown closer to him and his 'Dark Devas of Destruction'. This wasn't the best for your heart, many times you thought it would explode when you were close to Gundham.

You see, you'd love to confess to Gundham, but you weren't entirely sure if he was into guys even in the slightest. You could just walk up to him and ask "Hey are you gay? Bi maybe?", but that is too straightforward and weird. So you settled on just keeping these feelings to yourself and just being a close friend of his. That is until Chiaki caught on to me.

It was a cool morning and everyone was either waking up or already heading to the restaurant. You had barely got out of your cottage before Chiaki got in your face.

"Hey, (Y/N). Can I ask you something? In private...", you hated that term, 'in private'. It usually meant that something bad was going to happen, but you trusted that Chiaki wouldn't say or do anything weird.

"Uhm... Sure. Come in" I moved aside so Chiaki could enter. She immediately cornered me. "Do you like Gundham?" She seemed so confident in the question. I was shocked and frozen, I studdered before I even got out a comprehensive sentence. "Whawhawahaa?! How... How did you know? Am I that obvious..?" She backed off with a soft smile. "No, it took me a while to figure it out. Your really good at hiding your romantic feelings. Anyway, Akane and I want to help you and Gundham get together."

"Thanks, Chiaki, but how are you two gonna do that??" There's no way that they could set us up, right? Dumb question. "Akane already found out Gundham is bisexual, but he only likes people he's known for a while and is close to, so you definitely have a chance with him. All I need to do now is convince him to go to the beach with you." What "Wait wait wait, how did you find out he's bi?" "Akane just asked and he was fine with answering" Of course they just asked.

"We can have you and Gundham meeting up at night and Akane and I could set up some lights in the sand and a picnic" Chiaki looked up as she was thinking out loud. "But what about Monomuka? We aren't allowed to be out of the hotel resort after 10 pm." She just smiled, "I'll appeal. He enjoys teen romance so there's a good chance that he'll let us all be out after the curfew", "How do you know he likes teen rom-", "That's not important right now, meet with Gundham at the beach around 10:30 pm." She seemed so determined. I agreed and we both made our way to the restaurant together

Of course, we were a little late. Gundham was the first to notice us, I think he was staring at the door... "The rest of the mortals are here." God his voice was hot. Kazuichi looked over at us "Finally! Gundham and Akane were about to go looking for you guys!" Man, did we take that long? oh. my. god. What the FUCK is that? I was about to say something before I saw this hideous tribute to our recently deceased friend, Mahiru. I was going to say something rude about it before Hajime grabbed my attention. He was signaling for me to be nice about it and that Hiyoko made it. I spoke with an unsure voice "Wooww that looks so coolll. Whoever made that is verryyy talented.". Hiyoko seemed to be satisfied with it. Good because that's all I got in me.

I made my way over to a table so I can eat. Gundham glanced over at me and continued to eat at his own table. It was a quiet morning, everyone must have still been tired. After we had all finished and left, I went to the supermarket to get some sunflower seeds for Gundham. Yesterday he helped me with a cow attack at the barn, so I wanna try to pay him back. It was a good thing he was looking for me anyway.

I still had some free time after I came back from getting the sunflower seeds. I decided to look for Gundham since I knew he was free most of the time. When I finally found him he was talking with Chiaki and Akane at Jaberwok Park, they must be talking to him about going to the beach with me. That also means I need to find someone else to talk to, I get really bored if I'm by myself for too long. I could either look for Kazuichi and look for things he can take apart or just go annoy Fuyuhiko. I'll look for Kazu, I don't feel like hearing boss baby yell at me.

I walked to the 3rd island and was on my way to Electric Ave. since that's become Kazu's new hangout. When I got there he was already digging around looking for anything to fidget with. Kazu is a nervous guy, so I understand if he wants something to with his hands constantly.

"Hey, Kazo! What 'cha lookin for today?" I asked as I leaned over his shoulder to see what he's grabbing. "Anything really. Although it would be nice to find something to corrode the cameras that Monokuma put everywhere. Hey, have you seen some yellow wires anywhere?" He stopped whatever he was doing to look at me. "No, but I think I saw some orange ones by the old game consoles", I pointed to the pile not too far away from me. "No no no, It has to be yellow, orange won't work with my current project." He went back to rummaging. "What are you working on?" I turned my head to the side, it's a bad habit. "I'm trying to make a phone, so we can call someone or something. At least be able to play some mobile games so I'm not so bored all the time." He was still digging around.

"Ok then, see ya! I'm gonna go find Chiaki or Akane, whoever comes first." I said turning away. All I heard was a very faint 'bye' from Kazuichi, he probably wasn't listening. Oh well, at least he said bye. I walked back to the resort where our cottages are. I must have lost at least 30 pounds from all the walking between islands. As I was walking past the farm, I saw Akane. I walked up to her to ask about Gundham and if he was going to the beach. "Heyyyy Akaneeee!" I tried to strike up a conversation since I'm not very good at it. "Oh, what's up (Y/N)?" She definitely knows how to match someones energy. "Sooo what did Gundham say?" I asked, slightly bouncing from excitement. Akane just deadpans "What?". "About the beach! What did Gundham say about going to the beach with me?". "OOOHHH, he said he'll go with ya, but you have to not force him to swim with you. Something about him poisoning the water from his skin? I don't really know, I wasn't really listening". "Oh, that's fine! I won't force him!" I beamed.

"By the way, he said he wants to talk to you about something. He's at his cottage if you wanna talk to him right now." Akane seemed to not be interested in anything she's saying. She probably agreed to help Chiaki only because she was bored. "OK! Thank you, byeee!" I turned around and hightailed out of the barn.

As I was making my way towards the resort gate, I heard Sonia scream at the supermarket. I left the gates and started booking towards the market. When I finally got there, I didn't see her anywhere. I started calling out to her and poking around every crevice of the store. When I finally found her, she was just standing in the back, perfectly fine from what I could see. "Sonia oh my god! What happened? I heard you scream, are you ok?" I was panting from the running and looking. She looked at me with a pang of guilt in her eyes. "I am sorry for scaring you (Y/N), but thank you for taking the time to find me." She looked down at her shoes. "Well yea of course, but why did you scream?" I tilted my head to the side again. "I am terribly sorry (Y/N), but I have a kingdom to lead and I need to get back, I'm sure you understand. Right?" She slowly started walking towards me. I saw a screwdriver in her hand, It looks like....Kazuichi's! How did she even get his screwdriver? Oh what am I thinking, she probably just asked for it while batting her lashes and Kazuichi just gave it to her.

I started to walk backward until I was fully against the door. I quickly started to feel for a handle and scrambled out, back to the isles. As I was running towards the door, I felt a stabbing pain at the back of my head. After, my body felt numb, as if I couldn't control it. I fell. The last thing I heard was the door opening, it was Gundham. "Hello? I heard a scream so- (Y/N)!!" I really hope he finds the sunflower seeds in my pocket. At least the last thing I saw was Gundham.

Sayaka Maizono

♡ Her passion for her career and friends.

✘ The way she tries to screw over Makoto when the game had just begun. Like wait and see what happens before screwing over such a great guy? Leon didn’t deserve it either.

Leon Kuwata

♡ His voice actor (English), and how real and human his execution was in that we all would be so scared and irrational. It was just so iconic and sad as it’s our first introduction to the death in this series and we all think: “shit, this is real... they are really killing these kids.” I didn’t think it would be that brutal, just seeing his body limp at the end with the haunting music.

✘ His design is disgusting. I hate how he looks.

Chihiro Fujisaki

♡ So innocent, so kind, so intelligent

✘ Shouldn’t have been killed for such a stupid reason, also they did Mondo dirty with that motive for killing as well. Just a mess. As for the actual character, Chihiro cries right off the bat when you do your introductions and that was kind of annoying to me personally.

Mondo Oowada

♡ He has a lot of respect, understanding and emotions for someone I thought would be a hard-ass douche biker.

✘ The worst motive to kill ever in a game where you know you’re getting executed if you’re found out. Like you’d be extra careful and that’s his reason to kill? Lazy writing.

Celestia Ludenberg

♡ Bad bitch energy and her goth lolita design.

✘ Manipulation and double murder. Bad bitch energy only goes so far. Confidence is different then selfishness. Also, of all the chapter 3 triple murders... the worst motive to kill.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru

♡ Emotions: secure in his masculinity, able to cry, show emotions, and apologize when he’s wrong. He’s funny and likable.

✘ The Ishimondo white hair thing was stupid. Taka was fine on his own.

Hifumi Yamada

♡ Writing takes talent, fan fiction as much as any other style or genre. Also the talent of his voice actor (who also voices Kiibo/K1-B0).

✘ Literally everything else about him.

Sakura Oogami

♡ I love everything about her. I love her wisdom, loyalty, design, voice etc. Just step on me, mother.

✘ Why the hell would she ever agree to be a spy even if it meant the end of her dojo? I just don’t think she would do that rationally because she isn’t selfish. The others would suffer for her spying. She remedies this with redemption in her letter in chapter 4 but still she should’ve said no off the bat. Everyone had something to lose. The dojo wasn’t worth spying for monokuma. Also I just don’t think she would commit suicide. She can’t help the remaining students survive and redeem herself truly if she’s dead.

Kyoko Kirigiri

♡ Bad bitch energy, calm and collected when I could never be.

✘ Especially in future arc of the anime, damn can you show some emotion please? Through your words and expressions not just your actions. Sure she was willing to “die” for Makoto but like I just want more emotion from her sometimes, even in THH.

Makoto Naegi

♡ So pure. I Love Bryce Papenbrook. Makoto reminds me of Sora and I love his design.

✘ In THH I didn’t mind his innocence but in the Danganronpa 3 future arc anime, when people started straight up abusing him and accusing him, he needed to grow a little backbone.

Byakuya Togami

♡ Love my dad, king shit, also love how over the progression of the games and animes he becomes a little more kind to his friends.

✘ Why the fuck did he mess with Chihiro’s body? Just so cruel and disrespectful.

Yasuhiro Hagakure

♡ Funny magic man. Sexy voice.

✘ Please. Please Hiro use your brain just once. Why do we have to prove Kyoko isn’t a ghost?!

Toko Fukawa

♡ Character development in UDG and I love Genocider.

✘ Putting down herself and others constantly gets old in THH.

♡ A very memorable villain with great hair and design.

♡ Her mercenary background is super cool as a concept.

✘ Too bad it wasn’t explored nearly enough.

Hajime Hinata

♡ Seeing the protagonist be a little less naive, innocent and positive than Makoto was a refreshing change, although I loved Makoto. I liked Hajime’s cynicism and expressions that sometimes just screamed “this shit again, huh?”

✘ I enjoy the way Izuru looks but I hate him as a character. He is sexy to look at but Hajime is just a better character overall

Teruteru Hanamura

♡ His love for his family and mother especially is so cute and heart breaking if you know the full story.

✘ He needs to know when to dial it back and quit with the perversions. And no it’s not just how he looks, Miu needs to chill at times, too.

Twogami

♡ I feel like he genuinely cares about his friends, just hides it well

✘ His death felt like a cop out and poorly written. It just didn’t sit right with me. Also his design is disgusting to me, his outfit and such.

Mahiru Koizumi

♡ Loyal to her close friends.

✘ I just have no interest in her as a character and I find her boring.

Peko Pekoyama

♡ Loyalty. Loyalty is something I value very highly in every form of relationship. Peko is also very hot.

✘ Come on girl... I know how you were raised but you should’ve known Fuyuhiko didn’t think of you as just a tool and you two should’ve expressed your true feelings long ago. Like even in secret. How do you live like this? Also I feel like killing Mahiru could’ve been avoided with a calm talk.

Ibuki Mioda

♡ Cute design, positive vibes.

✘ Cringe sometimes in the way she talks.

Hiyoko Saionji

♡ Beautiful character design and some very good insults and snarky remarks at times.

✘ Just irredeemably mean and annoying. Even when you do her free time events she is just so annoying.

Mikan Tsumiki

♡ I like her design as well as her hair, expressions, sprites and clothing.

✘ I hate her. I just hate her whether she’s in her true psycho form or timid stuttering form. She’s just annoying in my opinion.

Nekomaru Nidai

♡ So supportive, can hold my drink at a party. Respects everyone and wants the best for them.

✘ Bro Mechamaru was a stupid plot point. I just couldn’t stand looking at him and couldn’t take it seriously. Still sad when he died though.

♡ From chapter 5 of sdr2 on she is impossible not to love if you didn’t already. Just the selflessness, the sadness of the reveal and execution, how she returns to help Hajime at the end???? I love her. I love her hair design, color palette, her personality, everything.

✘ I’m bitter and miserable about her being the only class member to actually die (the despair arc anime) also her falling asleep at random times is kind of odd and she doesn’t seem to be like that later on in the game??? Like it seemed like a cheap joke but not actually who she is? Hard for me to explain.

Gundham Tanaka

♡ King shit, couldn’t praise him enough. He’s sexy, loves animals, and is funny as hell sometimes. His voice actor is a saint and a cool dude and I named my guinea pigs after the Dark Devas (yes I know they are hamsters in the games.)

✘ Come on dude. I get that being from Hell and magic and having evil powers is your shtick, but we all know that you and Nekomaru sacrificed yourselves so the others wouldn’t starve. We know you care about your classmates. There comes a time when it’s time to let personas and facades fade and be true to your heart. I just feel like him denying he cared at the end hurt. We all know he cared. I didn’t like how he was haughty until the end. He deserved better. I love him.

Nagito Komaeda

♡ I love him so much. So cunning and intelligent, always a step ahead. And he’s big sexy.

✘ Him killing himself in chapter 5 hurt me so bad I was like in denial for days. Also hate how Bryce Papenbrook gives him a raspy stoner psycho voice in the game then a light airy higher-pitched voice in the despair arc anime. It just bothers me. I love his voice still but the inconsistency just hurts my OCD

Sonia Nevermind

♡ I love that she’s so interested in her passions and love her feelings for Gundham

✘ Her outfit and bow are atrocious. Also why didn’t she start liking and talking to Gundham sooner on? Their romance bloomed late and it would’ve made for a better chapter 4 ending if they were a bit closer.

Kazuichi Souda

♡ Cool design and outfit, love his voice (also voices Kaito in V3) and his backstory is relatable at times. He’s also very human in that he’s scared a lot of the time or insecure or blames others in panicked situations. It’s not always a good thing but it’s human and realistic.

✘ Gosh he can be so annoying. Sometimes flirting or whining too much is well... too much.

Akane Owari

♡ Strong-willed and definitely someone I would be friends with

✘ What the hell is her outfit? Gymnasts and athletes don’t wear that shit. Stop objectifying her when it doesn’t even make the product or plot better. Like there’s absolutely no point to making her dress that way. I was a gymnast for 15 years. Even those who do parkour (which Akane seems to do more often than actual gymnastics in the anime and game) don’t wear what she wears. Also she’s underrated.

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu

♡ I love him. He’s the DR character I’m most like out of all the games and anime. Tenko is a close second. I think he’s adorable, love his character arc, development, redemption, and love his voice.

✘ In the anime/despair arc, Fuyuhiko is not done justice. He doesn’t get enough lines, has a different voice actor, just doesn’t give off the same vibes.

Izuru Kamakura

♡ Sexy man long hair good.

✘ Boring character. I wish he were just Hajime.

Kaede Akamatsu

♡ Loyalty and leadership are such attractive qualities in her. Also she faced her death with such class and dignity and I respect her because I could never.

✘ Some of the voice lines Erika does for her are just weird and cringe. Just random moans or grunts... I don’t know it’s like when Ann Takamaki from Persona 5 (also voiced by Erika) makes suggestive noises as well. Just grinds my gears. Also hate her outfit down to the hair pins.

Shuichi Saihara

♡ I love his nasally voice. I love his design and he’s so adorable. I love how emotional and compassionate he can be. He ties with Makoto for favorite protag of mine.

✘ That sprite where he sniffs his hand. And his ugly ass hat.

Rantarou Amami

♡ Sexy man, sexy voice, sexy piercings

✘ Ugly outfit, and wasted potential

Ryoma Hoshi

♡ I respect him and feel bad for his outlook on life and for how poorly he views himself. I love his little hat as well and he’s the first “different styled” character (Hifumi, Bandai, Teruteru) that I liked the design of.

✘ I hate when he says “got a long ways to go,” it’s overused and annoying, and wish he gave himself more credit. Also hate that when you first meet him he warns you that he’s killed people and is dangerous to be around. Come on buddy, you know you wouldn’t hurt your friends. Stop pushing them away.

Kirumi Tojo

♡ Competence, well rounded, skillful

✘ Boring as hell. I wouldn’t waste one free time event on her.

Angie Yonaga

♡ Dark skin, super cute, love her talent as an artist myself.

✘ Gives religious people a bad name and is super manipulative which I hate.

Tenko Chabashira

♡ I relate to her and feel bad when she’s misunderstood. She’s a good person deep down. Also love her sprites.

✘ There’s more cunning, funny and clever ways to write her digs at men.

Korekiyo Shunguuji

♡ I’m in love with this man. Long hair, voice, mystery, mask, intelligence, passion, talent.

✘ He definitely was a victim of abuse and a lot of people refuse to see that and just hate him. Team Danganronpa should’ve given him a redemption arc where he realized his sister abused him and changed.

Gonta Gokuhara

♡ I love his design except for his suit. Also he’s so cute and naive. I cried for his trail.

✘ No need talk like caveman. Better way to do this.

Kokichi Ouma

♡ Like Nagito, I value his intelligence and crazy cunning.

✘ Shouldn't have died. Also shouldn’t have manipulated Gonta. That was just cruel.

Miu Iruma

♡ She has her hilarious moments and her death surprised me and was sad.

✘ Sometimes she lacks basic empathy, i.e. calling Tenko “Tencrotch” when she just fucking died.

Maki Harukawa

♡ Amazing character development. Didn’t see her surviving until the end at the start. Also her love and passion for Kaito.

✘ “Do you wanna die?” gets old.

Kaito Momota

♡ Just the overall best bro you could ever have.

✘ Has some toxic masculinity issues and anger issues.

K1-B0

♡ Pretty much everything about him. His design, his attitude and personality, especially how amazing and cool he is chapter 5 onward, his execution made me so sad. He’s so innocent and funny without trying.

✘ When you do his free time events he’s very arrogant and just talks about himself a lot... it seems odd and not similar to the Kiibo we see throughout the game.

Himiko Yumeno

♡ Super cute design, love her voice and “Nyeh...” and her sprites. Her character development is great as well.

✘ Why did they take so long to make her important and likable?

Tsumugi Shirogane

♡ An excellent and well hidden reveal

✘ I hate her. So annoying, from the voice to the references and her personality.

Art never dies

(Hajime Hinata x Ultimate! Fem!Artist Reader)

Credit goes to @clanwarrior-tumbly as this was inspired by her hc’s, so you should go check her work out. Also please know this doesn’t follow the actual storyline, so different people died in the past trials. Reader is the third victim btw, and I gave reader a last name, however in this fic reader is adopted because I don’t wanna give an assumption of her country or religion.

The second trial had finished a few days ago, and most people were either sad, drained, or bored. You had recently lost Teruteru and Mahiru, and it had really hit all of you bad.

You the Ultimate artist however, were looking on the bright side of things.

You walked into the diner where you saw most of the survivors in, greeting them good morning with a smile on your face. And then headed to sit down.

“You! How can you be so happy when Mahiru just died!” Hiyoko yelled at you, with tears in her eyes. You looked up from your sketch-pad at her “To be honest here I’m not actually happy at all.” You spoke calmly, which caused everyone’s attention to be turned to you. “But, seeing what happened to Mahiru should at least place some fear in all of us as to what happens if you were to kill someone.” You continued.

“She’s right, if any of us are to kill anyone, the chances we get caught are high, it’s not a risk worth taking.” Peko spoke up. “If we want to survive or make it out of here, we can’t kill each other.”

You stood up, “Well, I have to leave now, have a nice day guys!” and left the diner.

You met up with your best friend, and crush, Hajime Hinata.

You guys usually meet up by the ancient ruins and hang out for a while, and today was no different.

You guys hung out that day, before heading to your cottage, Hajime said he was gonna head over to the diner to see if anyone knew anything, and like that, you parted ways.

However you didn’t know what Hajime had planned once you got there, or what a certain person on the island had in store for you.

Time: 5:12pm.

Location: Your Cottage.

You headed over to your cottage, but your one who is very much aware of their surroundings, and you saw a card at your door. Like any normal person would do, you picked it up.

“Dear (Name)

Hi, it’s Hajime, I wanted to let you know I really love you, from the bottom of my heart, and I’m hoping you feel the same way. I know I’m not the top choice for a partner, and hell I cant even remember my talent, but I hope you accept this.

-Hajime Hinata”

Your face started to heat up, and you were amazed by the drawing he made for you, even if it was nowhere as good as what you could do. But because of that, you didn’t notice your killer sneak up on you.

And with that, your fate was sealed. The killer used their weapon, hitting you right on the head, which caused you to fall, as fear and shock were within you. “I.. I love you too Hajime..” Those were your last words as you died.

Time skip: The next day 12:47pm.

Location: Farm/ Petting zoo?

Hajime has been waiting for you for roughly over 45 minutes now, and finally decided to go look for you, his initial instinct was to go to your cottage, but he decided to check the diner first.

Time: 12:52 pm.

Location: Diner.

However once he reached there, he heard the body discovery announcement “A body has been discovered, please head over to (Name) Chitsuru’s cottage!” Monokuma spoke out.

Your cottage? Why your cottage? Hajime started running over there at a speed the could rival sonic the hedgehog’s one.

Time: 12:55pm...

Location: (Name) Chitsuru’s Cottage.

Hajime ran there within three minutes, and stopped.

It was you, you were dead, Sonia looked at your body crying, Chiaki was trying to comfort Sonia, and Kazuichi seemed to be frozen in shock.

Hajime dropped to his knees and started crying, a concerning amount of sadness coming over him. How the hell did this happen? The rest of the survivors came and saw your body, Hajime crying, and Kazuichi frozen.

Nidai rested his hand on Hajime’s back, trying to comfort him, but it didn’t seem to be working.

INVESTIGATION TIME!

VICTIM: (NAME) CHITSURU, THE ULTIMATE ARTIST.

TIME OF DEATH: BETWEEN 5:10-5:30PM YESTERDAY.

CAUSE OF DEATH: MULTIPLE SKULL FRACTURES, EXTERNAL BLEEDING.

PLACE OF DEATH: (Name) CHITSURU’S COTTAGE.

Hajime read the e-handbook, as much as he didn’t want to investigate, he knew he had to, if not for himself, then for you at least. He went around, investigating the inside of your cottage and the outside. He was checking everywhere, no stone unturned, they were gonna find out who killed you. No matter what.

TRIAL TIME!

The trial was a lot harder than expected, due to Hajime’s slacking off, and the unsettling fact that you had been dead for almost 24 hours and nobody found you.

Chiaki snapped Hajime back to reality. “Hajime, what’s your alibi?” “What’s my alibi?” Hajime thought. You were killed between 5:10-5:30pm yesterday, and-

“Since Hajime seems to conversed in his thoughts, he was with me during that period.” Nagito spoke up.

Time skip: 2 hours and 27 minutes later...

It had been revealed that the person who killed you was Akane. She was blubbering excuses and lies as to how she didn’t do it, but everyone knew it was her.

“Hajime, would you like to sum up what happened this case?” Chiaki asked. “Here’s what happened.”

ACT 1.

“This all started after what (Name) has said in the diner, and Hiyoko lashed out at her. (Name) expected everyone to be smart and be in their right senses not to kill each other, but one person saw an opportunity there. And with that, they began to plan.”

ACT 2.

“The culprit needed a few things in order to actually carry out this plan, one of them being a tote bag. The culprit met up with Mikan at the Hospital, and threatened her to give them one of her tote bags. The culprit now had everything they needed. A pipe, a knife, some ropes, and the tote bag.

Act 3.

“The culprit now had started to hide around (Name’s) cottage, pretending to be asleep, when in reality, that was for them to try and forge an alibi for themselves, because some people passed by her Cottage. The culprit waited until (Name) came back and found the note to get her distracted, and with that, they striked.”

ACT 4.

“(Name) has been distracted, and then the culprit hit the back of her head with the pipe, causing her to bleed and get all those skull fractures. They then carried (Name) into her room, tied her hands and legs to the ropes, and used a knife to make multiple cuts on (Name)’s body. This was to make it look like (Name) has been tortured, to divert suspicion from them, due to the time the crime was commited. They grabbed a brick (Name) had sculpted and added some of (Name)’s blood on it, to make it seem like the brick caused her death, not the pipe. They didn’t have enough time to clear up, so they ran away, and placed the pipe somewhere they thought nobody would find it. I searched the entire island however, and came across it. Which had already messed up the culprit’s plan.”

ACT 5.

“After all that, the culprit headed over to their cottage, to change clothes, and tried going back to fake sleeping around (Name)’s Cottage in order to have the alibi in tact, but that had been spoiled when Gundham had passed (Name)’s Cottage. Two parts of the culprit’s plan had been spoiled by now. Leaving their alibi fake. That meant the culprit had to wait until Gundham left.”

ACT 6.

“This is where the tote bag was used, in case the plan to frame Hiyoko didn’t work, then the culprit planned on framing Mikan, by using that. They placed the brick into the bag, and threw it somewhere around (Name)’s Cottage. The culprit went back into (Name)’s room to find her spare key, and locked her door from the outside, throwing (Name’s) key away somewhere, and then left. “

“The person who did this to the Ultimate Artist (Name) Chitsuru, was none other than you Akane!”

Akane, held a look of shock and fear when Hajime exposed her for her crime.

“So you’ve decided? Then it’s voting time!” Monokuma said, as Akane still tried to make excuses as to why she didn’t do it, though Hajime wasn’t listening to her.

The voting panel showed up, and as expected everyone voted Akane, and it showed she was indeed guilty.

They watched as Akane was executed in a despair filled way, as she took her final breaths screaming and crying.

After Trial.

After the trial, Hajime only headed over to your cottage. He wondered if you loved him too.

“Y’know she loved you too right?” Hajime would recognise that voice anywhere, it was Chiaki’s.

Hajime fell to his knees, his hands clenched into fists. “Even though, maybe if I was faster, or maybe if I had-“ She cut him off. “I know how you feel, you think maybe if you were better you could have helped her-“ “-But she wouldn’t want you to be sad like this.”

Hajime was silent. Tears started falling down his cheeks. “I just wish, I just wish I could hear her say it...”

“She has already told you.” Chiaki said. “Look around her room, you were the one who inspired her to make all this. Her art, it’s her way of telling you she loves you back, so will you accept her confession, or will you reject her?”

A small smile crept onto his lips, tears still falling down. He stood up and walked over to one of your art-works, it was a painting of a sunset, placing his thumb on it. “I’ll accept her confession.”

If you look close enough, you could see an artist hugging the still crying boy, Hajime Hinata.

It took me like almost three days to compete this, and I’m kind of proud of it, but I was still kinda scared to post it. Criticism is accepted here. So leave some feedback 😁

Ok I think I have seen this trend on watt pad some other fan fiction sight but Nekomaru Gundam what is your favorite thing ( mental and physical ) that you like about the other.

How far do you go with divergencies when it comes to your canon muse?

My reasoning with canon divergency with Sonia stems from three things:

1. Danganronpa is notoriously terrible about giving characters proper character development, backgrounds that make sense, or any sort of growth whatsoever (unless you are a protag, secondary protag, or antag, and even then it’s a gamble as to if it makes sense). If I was going to write any sort of alternate universe from canon or continue with canon, coming up with canon-divergent details about Sonia and her life was necessary.

2. I wanted to write, to some degree, a Sonia Nevermind who has to deal with, at least to her, realistic royal problems. I’ve gotten anon hate in the past for focusing my portrayal on Sonia’s talent, her skills, her family, and her future instead of more lighthearted, silly moments that the games and anime provide. But that’s a big part of what interests me about Sonia, and Danganronpa in general: what sort of skills would someone with an Ultimate talent learn, and how would it affect them in later life (both in canon and Non-Despair AUs)? Sonia, like any well-developed character, has flaws. She struggles with things, she succeeds in other things, she isn’t always right but she isn’t entirely in the wrong all the time either. And a fun part about writing her character is the amount of royal research that I do: historical biographies/dramas/documentaries of course, but also modern royals and what’s going on with current royal families today (and yeah, the odd soap opera/cheesy movie featuring fictional royals, too).

3. There’s a few glaring things in canon that I just don’t agree with. Mainly, the fan acceptance that Sonia’s a complete idiot in every way, and that based on a legend she’d accept Hajime as her husband and split power and control of her country with him. Sonia is far too intelligent (where book smarts and politics are concerned) and capable to just immediately co-rule with someone she barely knows because he looks like a folk hero in her country. Absolutely not.

What are rare-pairs that you’re passionate about?

This pretty much applies to all pairings, rare or not: I’m passionate about pairs/ships when my writing partner is an invested, participating partner in writing them. That doesn’t even mean we have to chat about them every day, or send inspiration or aesthetics constantly. But writing a ship that’s got a realistic pace where, if needed and wanted, communication is open, constructive, and fun? Those are the pairings I’m passionate about. I lose interest in pairings/ships when I feel like the other mun isn’t interested in replying to our threads or starters, honestly. And that’s valid! Maybe the muse chemistry just isn’t there or muns don’t have time to write, but it does cool off my interest/passion in wanting to develop the ship.

But in terms of Sonia and other Danganronpa characters that I don’t get to write as often, these would be my favorites (but it’s entirely based on portrayal and interest from the other mun):

Those have always been my top four rarepairs for her, or at least ships I’ve never or hardly ever get a chance to write.

But more than that? I tend to enjoy my crossover and OC ships a lot more than my canon DR muse ships nowadays. There’s a few canon DR muses I still write ships for, but they’re usually specific portrayals and not those muses in general (Gundham is often the exception for this, and yes I’m biased. Please give me all the Sonia x Gundham content). All of those crossovers would certainly count as rarepairs, and for muns wanting to ship their muses with mine, I tend to gravitate towards writing pairings and romantic ships with crossover and OC muses in general.

Some of my own Danganronpa non-despair AU headcanons/imagines this time! (THH edition)

I was inspired, so I decided why not write down some headcanons/imagines/character adjustments for my Danganronpa non-despair AU! I’m gonna be doing this as a series, starting with the THH characters, then the SDR2 characters, then the V3 characters (although I will mention characters from other games in my headcanons). Enjoy!

Makoto Naegi | 苗木誠

He’d definitely lend a listening ear to whoever wanted to vent to him.

When he first comes to Hope’s Peak, he’s such a fanboy over everyone

He has an inferiority complex and self worth issues because he’s surrounded by insanely talented students, but Sayaka and Kyoko quickly help him get over that

He’s pretty good at keyboard, and plays alongside Sayaka a lot

He actually got noticed by Kaede, who offered to teach him, which obviously he was ecstatic about

He’s the only one in Class 78th, and possibly all of Hope’s Peak, who is neurotypical

Sayaka Maizono | 舞園さやか

Her and Makoto are basically best friends

She’s still a total cinnamon roll, but she loves to play little pranks on the rest of Class 78th and have a good laugh over it

She, Ibuki, Leon and Kaede tried to form a music group together but they fell apart really quickly due to their different styles

She has a huge crush on Makoto, but she’s afraid to admit it

Leon Kuwata | 桑田怜恩

He’s almost always the only one in class, just so he can avoid playing baseball

Ibuki taught him guitar and he’s been playing nonstop ever since

He *tries* to get along with Sayaka, but prefers hanging out with Ibuki since they almost always end up playing together

Everyone in Class 78 calls him the Ultimate Guitarist because... reasons

Toko Fukawa | 腐川冬子

She doesn’t have the weird thing for Byakuya in this au

She doesn’t slut shame the girls either

She’s still really shy tho

She initially dislikes Hifumi for writing fanfic, but they eventually bond over their mutual love for writing

She’s also close with Tsumugi, and the two of them collaborated to write a book that was loosely based on Tsumugi’s favorite anime

Genocider Syo is friends with Sonia, but she’s a bit put off by Sonia’s obsession with her and other serial killers

Kiyotaka Ishimaru | 石丸清多夏

Initially, the rest of the class shys away from him because he has a stick up his ass about the rules, but Mondo and Chihiro quickly befriend him

After a while, he loosens up a bit, but he never stops being the Ultimate Moral Compass

He tries to bond with the class by telling jokes, but he’s always super awkward with it and is usually unsuccessful

He’s SUPER gullible — he’ll believe anything anyone tells him, and you better believe Class 78 uses that to their advantage

Once, he dyed his hair white on a dare, and ended up liking it and kept it that way

He also tries to do impressions of his classmates (mostly Mondo) but, again, is painfully bad at it

Everyone actually finds these funny tho

Mondo Oowada | 大和田紋土

He, surprisingly, likes to play card games, which everyone was shocked to find out

Except Celeste, who is fascinated by his interest

He’s very protective of his friends, and will do anything for them

Especially Taka and Chihiro, his two best friends

He’s an amazing hairstylist, and secretly loves to play with and style people’s hair

Everyone in all of Hope’s peak knows to go to him for hair care tips and tricks

He also taught Chihiro how to ride a motorcycle the two of them rode around together a lot, until Taka ratted them out

He still hasn’t forgiven Taka for that

Chihiro Fujisaki | 不二咲千尋

In this au, he’s a bit more open about his gender, but still has loads of insecurities

At first, he’s completely in the closet, but after rumors spread online about him being a boy, he decides to live as himself and goes to Mondo for help

Mondo became his first real friend to him because of this, and him (and eventually Sakura too) helped him become strong

Eventually, he became an honorary member of Mondo’s gang and would often hang out with them in his free time

His hidden talent is being a voice actor, but he’s super embarrassed to talk about it since he’s the Ultimate Programmer

His first voice role was in a video game he developed himself, which led some talent scouts to notice him

He eventually voiced in several anime and video games, some of which he also helped develop

He’s almost as passionate about acting as he is about programming, but the only people he feels comfortable talking about it to are Hifumi and Tsumugi, who both become huge fans of his, and Mondo and Taka

When he found out Junko had created Monokuma, he was fascinated and offered to help her with ironing out all his kinks

He, Chiaki, Mukuro and Miu also created the Exisals in this au, for the sole reason of fooling around

Although, Chihiro himself was a bit intimidated by his creation at first, but after Tsumugi and Junko pressured him to try one out for himself, he fell in love

Yasuhiro Hagakure | 葉隠康比呂

He’s less of a dumbass in this AU, although he still has a tendency to get himself in sticky situations

Celeste and Hifumi played a prank on him by getting him to dress up in the Robo Justice suit and go around scaring people, but it backfired after Hiro fell down the stairs and broke his leg

Being the only one in the class who can, he often buys wine for Celeste and Mondo (and whoever asks, but only those two ever do)

He and Mondo use the same hair gel, so sometimes he’d take Mondo’s without knowing, which would lead to some awkward misunderstandings

Interestingly, he once predicted the world would end and they’d all end up dead, but that never ended up happening

That’s where the “30% accurate” thing came from— before that he was almost always right

He constantly makes jokes about being an old man (even though he’s only in his early twenties)

Hifumi Yamada | 山田一二三

He’s no longer solely attracted to anime characters, but he still loves them very much

He’s also nicer in this au

He’s besties with Tsumugi, and they bond over their love of anime and fiction

He’s also a huge fan of Chihiro’s, after he found out Chihiro was on the development team for his favorite game AND voiced two of his favorite anime characters

Low key has a crush on Celeste

Angie constantly makes jokes about how his first name is just “one two three” in Japanese

Whenever he’s watching an anime Chihiro was in, he’ll hound him with questions about what it was like recording, which Chihiro doesn’t mind because he doesn’t get to talk about his voice work a lot

Someday he wants to write and direct his own anime, and Tsumugi and Toko give him a lot of writing tips

He formed a LARP group with Gundham, Tsumugi, Chihiro, Junko, and Kaito

Celestia Ludenberg

She doesn’t treat Hifumi like a servant in this AU, but she’s still mean af and has a superiority complex

She eventually revealed her true identity to the class after she got inspired by Chihiro, but it didn’t change anything with her classmates

Except Hiro, who constantly made jokes about them having the same name, much to Celeste’s annoyance

She occasionally brings Grand Bois Chéri Ludenberg to school with her, but she doesn’t let anyone except Hifumi, Sonia and Gundham pet him

She high-key has a crush on Sonia

She doesn’t actually know how to do her own hair, so she has to get Mondo to do it for her

Sakura Oogami | 大神さくら

She and Tenko become friends SO QUICKLY because of their shared passion for martial arts

She’s still friends with Aoi tho

The three of them hang out together a lot

She and Tenko developed a new form of martial arts combining Neo-Aikido and Sakura’s own style, which they named the Oogami Method

Junko bullied her because of her ripped uniform, but after she explained that nothing would fit her, Junko offered to have one made for her

Kyoko Kirigiri | 霧切響子

She and Shuichi are very close, obviously

She gives Shuichi a lot of pointers on improving his investigative skills, and they work together often to solve cases

She and Makoto still become close, but their friendship is overshadowed by her and Shuichi’s

She notices this after a while, and makes a concerted effort to spend more time with Makoto

She’s less distant in this AU, but she still tries not to show her emotions

Her hair is naturally black in this AU, she dyed it purple after she lost a bet (with Celeste)

Aoi Asahina | 朝日奈葵

In this AU, she doesn’t just love donuts, but she loves all sweets

She was a fan of Junko’s before coming to Hope’s Peak, and the two of them became friends quickly

She and Akane are also close, and everyone jokes that they’re sisters, though in reality they aren’t

She once got recruited by Kaito to be in a play his class was putting on, but she’s such a terrible actor that they gave her part to Junko

She once walked in on Junko and Mukuro testing out Monokuma for the first time, and they were super freaked out, but Aoi was fascinated and wanted to try controlling him

Mukuro was against it, but Junko was cool with it, so she got to in the end

Byakuya Togami | 十神白夜

He and Makoto are both obsessed with true crime, and the two of them actually become friends because of that

They both love digging into Hope’s Peak’s files and his family’s files to find mysteries they could try and solve

Sonia joins them a lot too

He unofficially became the class’s French teacher after they found out he was fluent

He’s nicer in this au, and he’s kind of the dad of the class

When the Imposter was impersonating him, the two of them got into a little mini-war over who was the superior Togami (Twogami surprisingly won that war, albeit barely)

Mukuro Ikusaba | 戦刃むくろ

She’s away from Hope’s Peak A LOT, usually doing soldier things

When she is at Hope’s Peak, she spends most of her time either developing new weapons or looking after Junko

She’s usually the one who has to clean up after Junko’s shenanigans, even though she partakes in them herself

She helps Junko with a lot of her projects, but usually she ends up working on her own things while Junko does her thing

Despite this, she loves working with her sister when she gets the chance

Her proudest achievement is the Exisals, even though she collaborated with Chihiro, Chiaki and Miu to create them

Junko Enoshima | 江ノ島盾子

While she’s obviously not Ultimate Despair in this au, she’s still very chaotic and loves causing shenanigans and playing (mostly) harmless pranks

She’s friends with Sayaka and Kokichi because of this (both she and Sayaka are members of D.I.C.E. too)

She still puts on different personas, but she does it as a joke

She’s actually a very good actress, and she loves to act, but just like Chihiro, that gets overshadowed by her Ultimate talent

She loves to build and create things, just like her sister, which is why she created Monokuma

She uses Monokuma for her pranks a lot

Sometimes she goes through severe depressive episodes where she doesn’t have the energy to leave her home, but she usually uses Monokuma as a sort of telepresence unit so she can still talk to her friends

At first, no one knew that Monokuma was her, but Aoi ended up spilling the beans

She also learned animation from Ryota, and wants to make an anime starring her, Kaito, Tsumugi, Chihiro, Mukuro and Hajime

She loves to share her projects with her friends, and often lets other people control Monokuma or model for her

She gets hurt a LOT, and usually Mikan has to care for her

Her proudest achievement is replacing the Exisals’ weapons with water guns (even though Mukuro did most of the work)

They actually decided to leave them like that afterwards, since the Exisals were only ever used by her friends to mess around in

She suffers from PTSD, and part of that is recurring nightmares that the world ended and all her friends were forced to kill each other

I don’t understand why some people hate Celeste I mean yeah she manipulative someone into to kill someone else and then killed them but other then that she was never been a bitch to anyone and yeah she may have a horrible personality at least she was a personality unlike some characters and she is my favorite as well

Yeah, I don't understand why people hate Celeste either. Sure, she committed a murder, but so did everybody else??? I hate it when people cite "they committed a murder!" as a reason to hate a character. Yeah, they're in a death game, under odd circumstances, and the game makes it clear that this is all Monokuma's fault and the character's blame is up for debate. It doesn't make them a bad person to commit a murder in the game. It especially irks me when people say "you have to hate Nagito because he was trying to kill his classmates!" Yeah, uh...So was everybody else who committed a murder. Every. Single. Person who killed someone else was trying to kill all their classmates. Because if you get away with a murder, your whole class dies. And that also means that everyone who didn't commit a murder but tried to, or tried to cover up someone else's murder, is on the same moral footing. This is a list of people who actively tried to kill all their classmates: Aoi, Celeste, Fuyuhiko, Gundham, Hifumi, K1-B0, Kirumi, Korekiyo, Leon, Maki, Mikan, Miu, Mondo, Nagito, Peko, Ryoma (because he knew what Kirumi was trying to do and went with her plan willingly), Sayaka, Teruteru, and Tsumugi. All of these people-- K1-B0, Maki, Sayaka, Aoi, etc-- did the same stuff that everyone claims automatically makes Nagito and Celeste evil beyond redemption. It's stupid.

And they will say that committing a murder, or attempting to cover one up, doesn't make Maki/any other fan fav irredeemably evil because "they had good motives" or whatever. Oh! So you're saying that a character's moral standing should be judged on their actions and the motives for those actions, rather than just some black and white hard-rule of "a murder automatically makes them evil"? I argue the same chance for Celeste and Nagito and characters like them. (Especially Kokichi, who wasn't even trying to get his class killed and still gets blamed for a murder that Maki started even after everyone told her not to.)

Celeste didn't do anything worse than what a lot of other people did. She's not inherently worse. Miss me with that shit. She's not evil. She was a victim of circumstance just like everyone else.

Plus, a character doesn't have to be morally good to be likable. That's stupid. You shouldn't say "you can't like this character because they're evil!" First of all, I can like whoever I want. Interesting and fun characters don't always match up with my moral standards. They shouldn't have to. I'm here to enjoy fiction, not make a moral statement. Secondly, not everyone defines "evil" the same way. I don't even think evil exists, as a concept. But people's definition of what a bad thing is, or when it is excused by motives, or what ends justify which means, are all different. Morality is relative. So just because someone might think that Celeste is evil and unlikable, doesn't mean that everyone else has to.

Also, morally good characters aren't always likable. With exceptions like Makoto and Kaede, I usually hate morally-good characters. It's what made Kaito so annoying to me. (Though at least the game portrayed his judgement as skewed and stupidly idealistic, which was his saving grace.) Morally good characters are usually boring, stuck-up snobs with no empathy and no understanding for anyone who doesn't meet their perfect standards. Ex: Kaito. I hate hero characters. They're so boring and predictable. The reason I like Kaede and Makoto is because they aren't stuck up. Angie is not perfectly morally good, despite being a happy little sweetheart. Kyoko is not morally good, and I will argue this to my grave. Sayaka is not morally good. I love those characters. I like them because they are not morally good. That makes them fun and interesting. To call them not morally good is a compliment, as far as I'm concerned. I don't like goody-goodies. They're boring, stuck-up, and lame. People should be met with understanding and compassion, not strict rules and guilt-trippy moral codes. Morality is different for everyone. There is no true "right" or "wrong". Understand that. Especially in fiction. Please.

Anyway, how that relates to Celeste: I don't like morally good characters, and so if she was perfectly morally good, then I wouldn't like her. The traits that I admire in characters are ambition, ruthlessness, intelligence, manipulation, cunning, passion, confidence, and unpredictably. Celeste has all of those qualities. I love and admire her so much. She reminds me of myself, but cooler. But Celeste couldn't have all those qualities if she was perfectly morally could, neither could Angie, Nagito, Kokichi, Kyoko, Izuru, Korekiyo, Kirumi, Mikan, Sonia, or any of my other well-liked characters. It is better to me-- in fact, necessary even-- that Celeste not be morally good in order for her to be likable. I don't care that she's not a good person. I love her. It's better that she's not a good person. I need that to be the case in order for me to like her. Moral ambiguity is my favorite thing in characters. It makes them interesting, and it makes it so much more impactful when those characters care for someone or do something good/selfless.

I also love Celeste's personality. I don't think she has a horrible personality at all. I admire her cunning and ambition, her intelligence and her ruthlessness. Every line she spoke just made me love her more. She's amazing. I don't care what she does. Her personality is great, and I love her. You're right, she's not outwardly mean to people like Hiyoko or Miu. She's not crazy like Korekiyo, or a serial killer/edgy loner bitch like Maki. She's more pleasant than a lot of the characters in DR.
