Okay fuck it, last resort bc I have to have this final skit written tomorrow: ideas for a short (<5 minute, 4-8 actors) skit to give to 5th graders to perform around a campfire at a nature camp? It should be funny, positive (or at least not mean-spirited), and bonus points for having an outdoorsy theme (definitely doesn't have to be educational). Extra bonus points if it features Bigfoot because that's what I've been trying to write it about and everything just keeps falling flat.

#i have 3/4 done #one features some campers telling scary stories at a campfire and getting spooked off by woodland creatures #who trick them in order to steal their food #one is about some hikers finding a cave with a sentient echo who can answer any question #and one is just honestly a bunch of fish puns #i have tried searching the internet. everything i find is either just not good or relies heavily on gross/bathroom humor #im at my wit's end and my creativity's also. idk why this is stumping me so hard

Pretty obvious answers here, but Chandelure and Eelektross!

I debated for quite a while with Eelektross vs Galventula/Joltik, but. I love Emmet with this giant weird eel puppy that follows him around like a streamer in the wind and probably chews on his hat. It's just a vibe. And he's probably cold and maybe even slimy (at least when he's wet) and not conventionally cute at all, but Emmet ADORES him and coos at him and keeps treats in his pocket all the time and Eelektross loves to wind around him any time Emmet is actually still, particularly during nap time. They're so cute! ♡

Ingo's is basically canon- When you walk through the tunnels with him in PLA, he remembers Chandelure before any other pokemon. In my own Hisuian Blankshipping AU, Emmet eventually Falls to Hisui too, and he brings all their team with him, so Ingo and Chandelure finally get to reunite! I'd like to think that she even eventually becomes a Noble. Most of the Nobles are meant to replace HMs or items- Wyrdeer is the bike, Ursaluna the itemfinder, Basculegion Surf, Sneasler Rock Climb, and Braviary Fly. Chandelure fulfills the role of Flash: she is summoned with the Celestica Flute in the dark tunnels of Mount Coronet, and she guides people through, just like her beloved trainer. ♡

octave keys are so stupid. why would you do that to yourself

#the answer is because flute is the only instrument for which an octave/register key is made COMPLETELY redundant by the way in which the #instrument functions. whereas LITERALLY every other woodwind needs something to facilitate the overblown interval #(aka make higher notes sound less Fucking Gross) because fundamentally the way the flute does octaves is completely not a thing on other #woodwinds. This fucking blows #pun intended.#listen i just dont like that the thumb key doesnt function in a lowkey nonsensical way #like put it back the flute was here first you ALL came from flute (xcept the bassoon the bassoon is weird and doesnt use the boehm system)#but ALL OF THE REST OF YOU BASTARDS.
