So I heard of fake animal rescue channels, where

video creators are the ones who injured the animals or put them in danger, then they film their recovery/rescue, so they can put it on YouTube and get attention and money. The shit people do for those things...

Well, here's this interesting channel I found (warning: if you actually visit it you'll find disturbing imagery)

Because of automatic translation I'll have to translate it back to English: "2 дня назад" means "2 days ago", "2 недели назад" means "2 weeks ago". These videos are posted every few days. I look at their titles, which are always talking about suffering and potential death. Looking at animated thumbnails, they all share the same subtitle format, so they must've been edited by the same person.

Would you believe that there are people who spend their daily life roaming the streets, searching for animals in distress, and finding them often enough to run their YT channel this actviely? Yeah... no. What are the odds you'd randomly find an animal trapped somewhere or an injured animal, and even if you did, would you immediately try to save it yourself/call for help, or would you prioritize making a video for attention on social media?

I've seen some comments say this channel is Chinese (contrary to the profile information) and it seems to be true, after I saw a Chinese sign in a thumbnail, and in another video I saw a pet getting a Chinese name and being sent somewhere in Beijing. I bet it gets a decent chunk of views from the country with the highest population in the world.

I once stumbled upon a video from this channel, it showed a cat who had both front legs turned backwards. One of the latest videos shows a puppy disfigured in a similar way.

While making this post I found another channel and I don't like the look of it either. It's similar to the previous channel in many ways: it looks just as disturbing, similarly dark titles, similar thumbnail edits with red arrows and circles, it has a different look for subtitles but it's consistent as well. I looked through some thumbnails and saw the same picture of a dog with eye injury. I wouldn't be surprised if this channel is run by the same person so they can get even more money.

This is totally not suspicious at all...

Edit: the same dog shown in these channels (I censored the footage). The CAS video is from 1 month ago, the ALS video is from 2 weeks ago.

I wanted to report them but when I choose Other and click Next it takes me to the Community Guidelines page and I don't know what to do next. There should be a way.

We got snow today.

Hey, Mother Nature, if this is an April Fools joke, you're a couple days late!

March is about to end, the snow is gone (at least in the city, IDK how it is in the nature). I kept hoping we'd get more snow. Probably because I used to live on the North where winter is longer and summer is shorter. My mother shared someone else's photo taken right next to the school from the town I used to live in, I saw streets that were still snowy and fairly clean. This month I literally went outside once. I'd like to go for a walk, but the streets don't look too welcoming yet.
