imagine goth!mikasa sitting in your lap, the dark lace of her skirt stark against the pale thighs that bracket your hips. your hands are rested on her knees while hers are at work — one on the side of your face, the other leaning against your cheekbone as she skillfully shapes your eyelid with her signature eyeliner. her black manicured nails are lightly pressing into your skin as she moves with the faintest look of concentration on her face: pursed lips and pinpoint eyes that you catch in the short seconds before she mumbles for you to keep your eyes shut.

she’s so invested in this, you love it — especially when says, “open your eyes for me,” as she leans back and tilts your head to get a better look at you. the way she looks then is so candidly elegant, with her thin eyebrows perched, thoughtful, her dark eyes analysing you and her teeth nibbling on lips coloured in matte black. and you smile at that hum she doesn’t even notice that she does as she says, “close them again,” before continuing.

she takes her time and you enjoy every long second of it. you could probably fall asleep like this: her body on you like a weighted blanket, her gentle movements relaxing in their repetition, the smoothness of her skin as you rub your thumbs over her knees. the moment is small and perfect and loving, yet only the prelude to the best part that lies waiting for you at the end.

“okay, i’m done,” mikasa finally says and you hear her smile before you see it, along with the click of the eyeliner lid and clatter of makeup tools being put back in their places. she sits up to reach for the hand mirror somewhere in the sheets and you sit patiently still in anticipation. when she hands you the mirror, you’re stunned speechless by the reflection that stares back at you.

“wow,” you breathe, turning your head from side to side and admiring mikasa’s handiwork. “you’ve really outdone yourself, mika.” you glance at your girlfriend, who has her eyes shyly averted to her lap and one hand tucking some hair behind a piercing-covered ear.

you set aside the mirror then hook your fingers behind her knees and pull her closer to you. “thank you for making me look so pretty, love,” you say, kissing the tip of her nose.

mikasa smiles. “you’re already pretty, i just made you prettier.”

you giggle at the compliment and the grin of it lingers, curling up your cheeks cattily. “since when are you such a flirt?” you tease.

she frowns in confusion, the blush on her face soft but evident on her fair skin. “i’m not, i’m just telling the truth.”

you capture her in your arms and bury your face in her neck. “you’re so sweet,” you mumble into the layers of silver necklaces on her collarbone. her body relaxes against yours and she leans into your touch. smoky perfume and wisps of raven hair that smell faintly of cherries and petrichor surround you. her careful hands pet your hair and occasionally her nails drag across your nape, the touch featherlight and soothing. you hum in contentment, feeling ever at home in your girlfriend’s embrace.

Dónde Jean es el delincuente juvenil (aunque en realidad solo es un loser) que se enamoró de la chica rara del pueblo.

✨ Contexto de mi 80s AU ✨

Está basado en el Attack on Castes de Shingeki no Kyojin, obvio, pero está situado en los 80s, quería una excusa para hacer a Mikasa con maquillaje Trad Goth, aunque se que está subcultura sigue viva, ya que la Goth Mikasa situada en un AU actual es más tipo Hippie Goth o Nu Goth (aunque se que muchos no lo consideran como parte del gótico), Jean está basado en los actores y músicos más facheros que encontré de los 80s con el cabello largo porque si o si quería que tuviera cabello largo.

Ahora sí ✨La historia ✨

Jean siempre estuvo interesado en Mikasa, le parecía chistosa e interesante la forma en que la niña rara del salón hablaba, no lo hacía mucho, pero cuando lo hacía usaba palabras que Jean le parecían bonitas y cuando aprendió que era la poesía, supo que la forma de hablar de Mikasa era como escucharla.

Aún así, el pequeño Jean nunca se atrevió a hablarle, después de todo, era la niña rara de la escuela.

Cuando empezaron al secundaria no podía evitar notarla junto con sus otros dos amigos, igual se raros, Eren y Armin, el primero sin motivos para existir pero aún así lo seguía haciendo y el otro hablando de la saga esa llamada Star Wars y como estaba esperando las primeras partes de aquella saga. Era un nerd, un ñoño, pero parecía agradarle a la chica rara del pueblo.

Cuando regresaron para la prepa (High School) Mikasa había cambiado su apariencia, tuvo problemas con las autoridades estudiantiles por su apariencia extraña, maquillaje pálido con sombras oscuras, un delineado extraño, y sus labios pintados de negro, era difícil no verla, pero ella decía que si le prohibian vestirse y maquillarse de esa forma estarían en contra de su libertad de expresión. La llevaron a detención pero después de bastantes estira y afloja, decidieron dejarla vestir como quisiera, después de todo era buena estudiante. En ese tiempo Jean empezó a no querer ser un invisible más para la escuela pero lo único que se le ocurrió con sus habilidades de pelea, fue volverse en el busca pleito y delincuente juvenil, lo curioso es que solamente buscaba pelea en la escuela y raramente se le veía fuera de esta, aunque corrían rumores de que era parte de alguna pandilla.

Si escuchaba a alguien hablar de Mikasa, lo golpeaba hasta sangrar y si se atrevían a decirle a alguien que lo había golpeado por hablar mal de Mikasa lo volvía a moler a golpes, tenía una reputación que mantener, hasta que un día, gracias a qué nadie quería trabajar con la rara y el delincuente, fueron asignados a una tarea.

Pasaban mucho tiempo juntos en la biblioteca, haciendo su trabajo y luego en la casa del otro, poco a poco fueron desarrollando una complicidad y una amistad por ello.

Al principio el grupo de amigos de Mikasa, Armin y Eren no aceptaban esa amistad pero conforme se fueron conociendo, descubrieron que Jean no era tan malo, era un loser igual que ellos pero con la reputación de usar los puños para cualquier cosa. Tiene una relación de amigos-enemigos con Eren.

Después de pasar tiempo con Mikasa, se dio cuenta que tenía sentimientos por ella, tal vez esa curiosidad que le daba en realidad era algo profundo pero no estaba seguro si ella sentía lo mismo por él. El último año de escuela, decidió declararsele en la biblioteca, ella le sonrió y le dijo "Vaya, te habías tardado" y acepto su confession. En ese momento se besaron por primera vez ✨

At first, they were just murders. Strange, bloodless murders.

Levi was somewhere in Wall Maria when he first heard of them. He was sent to a nearby Scouts base after a mission ended terribly. Most of his comrades had died, even his two friends. Levi didn’t elaborate on their deaths.

The blonde sighed. This man couldn’t catch a break.

As he healed, he used that spare time laying on his bed to write more frequently. He avoided mentioning Farlan and Isabel much, something Cora expected, but wrote about the battle nevertheless. As a result of everything he had seen, his nightmares became more frequent. He never described what he dreamt about, but she suspected it wasn’t any good. Or else, he wouldn’t be wandering around the base at night.

Levi complained about having to use a clutch because of his broken foot. He also complained about his comrades’ chatter and the state his room was when he first got there. Those days nobody talked much to him; he probably made sure of that with his grumpy nature. He focused on cleaning and organizing his room, writing in his journal and trying to use his foot again as his healing progressed. Levi wondered how much time he would have to endure the war.

If she remembered correctly, it had a few more years left and Levi did not. Whatever happened to him in December of that year wouldn’t be pretty.

His hatred for the clutch ceased once he got rid of it, now being able to walk without it. Only a slight limp lingered, but he didn’t seem to care. Levi briefly commented his superiors were somewhat astonished by his fast recovery. Soon enough, he was tasked with maintenance in the workshop of the base. He was introduced to some other soldiers once he began working, who were also in the last stages of healing. He didn’t seem too fond of any of them at the beginning. Levi showed his disinterest in them and his desire to be on his own in the notebook, which didn’t surprise Cora much. It actually took him a month to warm up to them, she noticed. He started appreciating Petra’s sweet and hard-working nature, Gunther’s reasonableness and Eld’s humor. There wasn’t much to like about Oluo, with the exception of when he would hit his head with something when they worked.

In the course of the next few weeks, Levi had fully recovered and managed to get used to his new routine. Aside from fixing and maintaining the vehicles, his team and he were tasked with scouting missions from time to time. Levi was designated captain and his squad was transferred to the Scouts Headquarters in Shiganshina shortly after.

Cora finally found something for her research purposes. Initially, she wanted the journal to feed her curiosity and maybe use it for her history paper. But now she was invested in Mikasa’s dead relative and, by the looks of it, she might have just read the majority of the journal for nothing. There wasn’t much about what she was looking for. Levi didn’t write about the country’s situation, it was just his personal matters, which was why it bothered Cora so much. At least, Levi wrote more about the military in the latter entries, but the invasion of privacy was done.

As she continued reading, something else caught her attention.
