someone pLEASE WRITE A FANFIC ABOUT THE BATFAM WATCHING THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE IT'S NOT A WANT ITS A NEED I'M DEAD SERIOUS!!!
give me bruce barely holding his shit together when his kids start belting "CAUSE I'M A BILLIONAAAAAREEE" every time he walks into a room.
give me alfred sighing and shaking his head each time someone mutters "alfred-da-butt-ler" under their breath while passing him in the kitchen.
give me dick taking the RELENTLESS teasing for how his character was portrayed like the unbothered king he is and agreeing to wear a pair of googly-eye goggles on patrol for a week.
give me jason subconsciously healing some of his own trauma after watching the most ridiculous, unthreatening version of the joker to ever exist (no, bruce, it's not a solution, but it's a start).
give me barbara and bruce refusing to even look each other in the eyes for a solid week, because seriously WTF WAS THAT, and everyone finding their discomfort absolutely hilarious.
give me the batkids making a meme out of bruce by doing shit like hissing every time someone turns on the lights or working snake clown references into the most random conversations, and bruce getting up and exiting the room every. damn. time.
give me bruce pretending to hate the movie but secretly loving whenever one of his kids begs him to put it on during movie night, because it reminds him that in every universe (no matter how outrageous or ridiculous) he loves and is loved by his family.

Ok... I swore to myself I wasn't gonna make another negative MAWS post, that I was just gonna leave it at the Twink Slade disappointment post.
But apparently there's this trend that's been happening on Twitter, where people are trying to bring up the 2004 "The Batman" designs to try and defend the designs of the MAWS rogue gallery. And that was the territory I CANNOT let go, as someone who is a fan of Jeff Matsuda and his character designs.
SO FIRST, LET ME CLARIFY: I'm simply making ONE post about ONE factor of MAWS that irritates me. I'm not here to just sit and constantly bash on the show. I wouldn't do that, I have a personal close friend of mine who enjoys the show and I'm happy for her and I want her to enjoy the show. I have SO many gripes and reservations but I recognize those are personal.
I'll be putting this under a Read More and tagging it as Anti-MAWS so MAWS fans don't have to read/deal with this post. Probably just don't read my tags as well.
So if there's one thing that has irked me the most about MAWS, it's the redesigns and rewrites of Supes' rogue galleries. Mostly the redesigns though. MAWS took a bunch of colorful, diverse, and fantastical designs and made them monotonous, bland, and simply not fun at all. And yes, while the in-universe explanation (Being that they're all mechanically enhanced rather than freak accidents or born that way) makes sense, it still makes the villains incredibly un-appealing. EVERYONE is in boring black, white, and gray armor (aside from Parasite and while I think his physical design is neat I have issues with his character rewrite too, I'm just not here to discuss that). Everyone who had incredibly fun or creative designs was horribly washed out. Silver Banshee went from being a literal ghostly wraith to a boring motorcycle-looking chick. Livewire went from a vibrant blue lightning motif (that SHE herself created) to boring merc armor. And yes, I have issues with Slade's armor, the head was promising but the overall design has color-balancing issues.
Now let's look at the redesigns of the rogue gallery for the 2004 "The Batman" show. These are mostly drastically different from their original design counterparts, just like MAWS. But the massive difference is that most of these designs are still colorful (where it applies, obviously not to Penguin), recognizable, and push the borders of imagination; They're so ludicrous and exaggerated in their design and their physical features. Even if I was disappointed in some of the character rewrites (Like Mr. Freeze having only a small cameo to Nora in the flashback, but mainly being another selfish thug), the designs are still great. You can look at The Batman villain designs and easily recognize them because they follow the basic structure of their original designs.
Joker:
Tumblr media
Is still in his green, purple, and orange color palette, with his trademark freakish grin. The design takes creative liberties with the spiked hair, the more athletic physique, and the actual clothing style of his outfit, but this is clearly meant to be Joker.
Mr. Freeze:
Tumblr media
Is now essentially a cryomancer thanks to his mutation, but this is still obviously Mr. Freeze. Some kind of helmet (in this case encased in his own ice) wearing a thermal freeze suit, and his red eyes invoking the red goggles he wore in his original iteration.
Catwoman:
Tumblr media
The design exaggerates a lot of features of the OG outfit, like the ears and the goggles (though the OG design really just has eye spaces), and uses shades of crimson and purple, but you look at the black bodysuit and the whip around her waist and she can clearly be identified.
The main argument I'm making with the 2004 Batman designs is that they're A) recognizable to their original counterparts by invoking the same color scheme and basic design points, B) Colorful and pushing the lunacy of a world full of supervillains, and C) Completely stand out from each other, no two villains look as though they're of similar origins (besides obvious pairs like Joker/Harley Quinn and the two Clayfaces, the latter which was a guy who took concentrated serum made from Ethan Bennett's Clayface DNA). The Batman designs are good because while they ARE drastically different from their original counterparts, they honor the original designs.
Whereas in the MAWS redesigns, none of the redesigns are reminiscent of their original counterparts (besides the obvious Brain and Monsieur Mallah, kind of hard to fuck that up), and lack the fantastical element that The Batman redesigns (And the original Superman show, where it applies) had.
Livewire:
Tumblr media
Looks nothing like her original counterpart. The armored clothes, the lack of lightning motif, lack of color to her outfit (I'm not here to talk about the race-swapping), none of it is supposed to tip you off to being Livewire, especially when her character is written so drastically different. You should be able to tell who Livewire is BEFORE you see her powers.
When OG Livewire looks like this:
Tumblr media
Silver Banshee:
Tumblr media
Is just a regular human in drab clothing. There's some kind of attempt to give her the hint of a ghost motif with the bone legs, but then that disappears in her later costume design. Same later costume that tries to half-ass a skull motif on the helmet but it doesn't work with the helmet's angles.
When this is Silver Banshee's original design (going with a still from Batman Unlimited)
Tumblr media
And if they wanted to stray from the whole "supernatural" aspect, they could have compromised like they did in Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay:
Tumblr media
Which I mean I still don't like that redesign as much as Silver Banshee's OG design, but it's still recognizable and it's still cool.
The bottom line is basically this: You don't have to justify liking this new Superman show and its take on new characters. But to try and say the character designs on MAWS are like the 2004 "The Batman" cartoon redesigns is such an unequal and imbalanced comparison. The thought process for the character designs in these shows are so drastically different from each other, and the execution of said character designs aren't comparable.

Hikari Naegi DR3 Design
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
UDG OC Hikari Naegi in her new her dr3 design, Clothes and gear made from the latest Future Foundation tech. All thx to Togami, with some help of her training from Toko( genecider syo)
I will do a couple of more parts of this for you all to see the gear better, Let me know what ya think and if you had a suggestion to add to her design I'm all ears.
I was inspired by the old beta pics of action Komaru and I thought that Kari can be this in DR3
Here is the pic for refence -> i.redd.it/zuee8urq83y31.jpg /
This one below is for her personality and expressions not including hair cut
static.wikia.nocookie.net/dang…
She has red scrunchies, tech goggles to help her during her fights, red jacket, black undershirt, gadget belt to hold her megaphone and other gadgets( and her phone), black shorts with long black stockings( its not show in this but I forgot to enable them lol) and black tech boots.
Future Foundation watch, she can use this to activate her outfit( think girl transformation or quick sailormoon style troupe, also can be use as a map, phone, activate auto shield or she can do it herself just gotta do a certain move to trigger it. was going for stuff like batman or other heroes use in comics or shows back in the day. Also needs to charge each day.
A cute new backpack, a cat pack that can carry other items, snacks, etc lol.
High tech Boots, helps give her fast speed during her battles, high jump, run along walls, and if she wants to kick a momokuma in the face they can help make a good dent in its face. But not too strong to send flying into building or destroy on impact.
refence here - danganronpa.fandom.com/wiki/Fi… High tech gloves, helps out in a melee with enemies, can small but impactful energy blast, can be use to tase enemies close range, helps keep megaphone recharged to have infinite bullets.
OC Hikari Naegi -> ( ヒカリ ) ( 苗偽 ) she is the younger sister of Makoto Naegi in a different universe.
Some Fanfiction Art for my fanfic Danganronpa Ultra Despair Girls AU Hikari Naegi
This art was made with Koikatsu
Mod showcase scene was borrowed from the koikatsu discord and pixiv scene sharing pages, credit goes to the original creator.
WARNING its a nsfw Japanese game but I make non lewd art with it public platforms that's rated E for everyone.

Minifigure Showcase: Frankenstein's Monster
Continuing my Universal Monsters theme for my custom minifigures, the following three are a part of the iconic story by Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. While I admire the depth and nuance of Shelley's original, gripping tale, the farther removed, more iconic story of the mad scientist often identified with Halloween is undeniably one of the most influential media of all time. As such, the minifigures depict characters inspired by the 1931 film starring Boris Karloff, and other such adaptations.
Doctor Victor Frankenstein
The namesake of the story, and the monster itself, Doctor Frankenstein is the quintessential mad scientist. The iconic image of the wild-haired, manic genius in goggles is captured using the Lego Batman Movie Joker's hair in black, and the head of Lego Marvel's Doctor Octopus. The torso is an altered version of the Minifigure series "crazy scientist".
2. Igor
Frankenstein's iconic, mistreated servant has interestingly been depicted in Lego before, in the Lego Studios line. My figure takes some cues from that figure, with the backpack replicating the hunched back, and the old hood piece and cain. I use a head with sunken eyes and medium-length legs to create a short and hunched figure.
3. Frankenstein's Monster
And now, the crown jewel of this set, Frankenstein's Monster himself. The head is from the Monster Fighter's version of the character, the one that most faithfully depicts the character. However, the forehead/eyebrows is from the Minifigures Monster Rocker Minifigure, which uses more iconic stitches as opposed to the more comical clips used by the Monster fighters figure. The real star of the show here is the torso, which is a re-detailed version of Hagrid's yule ball suit. The reddish brown torso and arms have olive green hands inserted and is decorated to recreate the ramshackle appearance of the Monster's clothing. This culminates in a Monster that towers over other minifigures without being too gigantic, and that faithfully depicts the Monster in a way the is instantly recognizable.

The Pennyworth Family in My Batman Universe
I don't know why I decided to post this but i think it has to do with my rewatching of Totally Spies and working on ALBTM. Anyways this idea wouldn't leave me alone so you all have to deal with it 🥰
Alfred Pennyworth is the middle son to Arthur and Mary Pennyworth.
He has an older brother: Wilfred Pennyworth, but unlike his Earth 1 self and past selves, this Wilfred, Wilfred Quincy Pennyworth, while fond of acting actually somewhat followed in the family footsteps of helping out eccentric young people who are brilliant. Wilfred, after their father's death and the circumstances it had been in, fled London back to the family's old home in Winchester, England. Under the impression that he and his family were in danger because of something his father ran into, Wilfred changes his name to Quilish Wammy.
If that sounds familiar just wait. It is an odd name but well, Wilfred had always wanted to be an inventor if acting never took off for him and he figured an inventor needed a unique name to be noticed. After a while he wanted to do something different but more. He opened a special kind of orphange. Wammy's House, an orphanage for talented children. Wilfred had always loved kids, especially the bright ones and he thought this was the only way he could be a parental figure as he was just too busy to seek out a relationship.
That's where he ended up meeting his adoptive son Landon Lawliet, who greatly despised his first name and demanded to be called just L Lawliet. A brilliant but shy boy who grew to be a rather impressive detective. As he grew and took on cases, Wilfred retired from the orphange and left it in the care of a trusted friend so he could be with his son. He of course told his son his true name. They traveled everywhere for cases and Wilfred even got to visit his brothers once and a while. They did visit before when L was younger but not often.
L liked his brothers and even got along with Alfred's boy Bruce when they visited when the boys were younger.
Then L got interested in a case in Japan and Wilfred became Watari for a while.
Yes that's right, Death Note Crossover. But wait. There's more!
Wilfred and Alfred had a younger brother named Jarvis (in past comics, Alfred's father was names Jarvis but I decided it is now his younger brother's name).
Jarvis was much like his brothers, intelligent, kind and a flare for the dramatics. He followed in his older brother's footsteps but far away from home. He became a spy for WHOOP after his time in the British Military had caught the attention of the organization. When his father died and had sent out messages to the family alerting them that if he died it would not be an accident but to not blame the family he was currently working for, Jarvis already had plans to leave much like Wilfred had. Nothing was tying any of them to home as soon after their father passed, their mother passed away from heartbreak.
Jarvis was intrigued by WHOOP and needed an escape so he joined WHOOP and changed his name to Jerry Lewis. It was simple and easy to remember with the first name starting with the same letter as his actual name and his last name being similar to his middle name. His middle name being Louis. He was happy with his job, actually he loved it and every now and then he would be able to sneak away and visit his brothers.
Imagine his shock when he found out Wilfred had a son and Alfred was working for the same family that their father had been working for, a family that was only survived by their young son who was left in Alfred's care. Wilfred and he hadn't liked it but Alfred was happy and the kid really needed someone there for him.
Years past and Jerry had had many agents but then he met Samantha Simpson, Clover Ewing and Alexandra Casoy and he would be the first to admit he had a soft spot for the three. He tried not to show it and when he did try not to, he often made mistakes. But he would admit that he saw the three as his friends and somewhat his daughters. He was responsible for their well being, it was hard not to grow attached.
Then there's Alfred who, following their father's death went to work for Thomas and Martha Wayne. Even though his father's message had been a big red flag and the fact he, along with his brothers and a small group of people knew that yes Arthur Pennyworth was a butler and a damn good one at that, he was also a damn good spy. He wasn't spying on the Wayne's, oh no, he was spying on Gotham itself and talk of a deadly secret society.
It's why the boys all split when he died. Alfred had been contacted by his father way before hand that if anything should happen to him, he wanted Alfred to take his place as butler to the Wayne's and successor in his investigation. Though the organization his father worked for had no idea that Alfred and his brothers knew about their father's mission, and Arthur never got to send out his last message warning his middle son to not come to Gotham, Alfred swore to uphold his father's supposed final wish.
Thus Alfred Pennyworth became butler to Thomas, Martha and soon Bruce Wayne. He never forgot his father's mission of looking into a possible deadly secret society hidden and based in Gotham but then the Wayne's were murdered leaving Bruce to him and suddenly he was a father and there were more important things than revenge. Well...until his son craved revenge that is and well, Alfred really like Thomas and Martha, they were lovely people and lovely friends and yeah....he wasn't the most stable at the time and gladly helped his boy become a vigilante. Was it good parenting? Perhaps not.
But he was a Pennyworth and Pennyworth's did not do things by halves.
_______
Haha so yeah I thought it would be hella fun if the Death Note, Totally Spies and Batman Univereses were connected so...Ta Da!

Trying to make my own generic Donnie design to use when I don’t want to depict a specific TMNT universe, and I also wanted to make my own version of him for fun anyways
I’m taking aspects i like from previous iterations, I like when he’s thinner and taller, like in Rise and the live action movie, I like the red and blue glasses, love the goggles! Gotta keep those, but I made them more like old timey spectacles, and I’m trying to keep in mind that his tech would most likely be made out of discarded junk he found. Also, I wanted him to look a bit deranged while wearing the goggles, so I made the different sized lenses look like asymmetrical pupils
I love his design in Batman vs TMNT so I based his core body type and head shape on that, but I also like him as a soft shell so I kept that and made his face narrow and long
I love thé asymmetrical glasses look, just for fun
I prefer when the turtles eyes are whited out when they’re wearing masks, so he looks different when he’s wearing one
Still working on colors and personality, but I prefer a softer Donnie rather than the feral Dee we sometimes get in Rise lmao, as much as I love him to death
Tumblr media
Still working on the design to make it unique and my own, rn it’s really similar to Rise Donnie, which is fine, but I want to experiment a bit more before I settle on anything

Chapter 8.3: Shines In The Darkness
The last of the Parallel World chapters a.k.a Ultimate +Anima.
Senri, along with some other guys, rob a dude in the desert! And Cooro has to save the dude!
Tumblr media
Cooro "saves" him and puts on the whole starving orphan act when the guy is grateful. The guy gives him money and, flying back, Cooro shares it with Senri and the other "bandits", otherwise known as Husky and Nana. Operation Wild Things having succeeded, the guys head into town for food.
Specifically, the mining town of Antsmine. Exploring the town, Cooro runs off for food only to bump into the sheriff who had previously kicked the kids out three days earlier for having no money (because poverty is a crime...?)
youtube
His name's Mr. Hop and he hints that he knows what they're up to. Still no proof because that would involve actually working instead of bullying the poor so he walks off. All's well that ends well, right?
Uh, that guy they "rescued"? He's in town selling artwork. And he spots Cooro. Luckily, he doesn't spot the others as he calls Cooro over for a talk. He talks to him about his life as a +Anima, asking if it's hard. Turns out he's a +Anima fanboy and thinks they're cool (What do they call that in-universe? Aniboo? Feather Fever? Aigger?). Cooro's friends come over uncovered and thus, the man doesn't recognize them. However, he insists on talking to Cooro more. Later. Alone. In an area of the city where they won't be bothered.
Tumblr media
Cooro agrees like the PSA bait he is and goes off with the others.
He meets with the guy later and he apparently wants to introduce Cooro to another +Anima. He takes him deep into the mines, not disclosing what type of +Anima he's supposed to be meeting.
Tumblr media
(Run Cooro. Run like the girl should have run away when Thom Yorke saw her!)
The guy creepily goes on about how great +Anima are and how their limbs have incredible abilities...and how much he wants it. Then he puts on the most disturbing Batman villain costume this side of Professor Pyg.
Tumblr media
See that? That's an Artificial Anima suit. He calls it "Art Anima". Cooro thinks its modeled after a wildcat but I think it's based on someone the guy found at Innsmouth. Either way, he says to make good "art", he has to study "Natural Anima". Officially done with this B-movie Creep, Cooro tries to fly off...only to bump his head on the ceiling. The guy chose the mines for a reason, you see: enclosed spaces mean Cooro's wings are useless. And it's too dark for Cooro to see, even though the guy can see Cooro just fine thanks to his goggles.
The guy pounces on him to tear apart his wings, trying to make him drink a liquid to drug him into sleep...until Cooro is saved by Senri who swipes the guy into a wall.
Tumblr media
(Big Damn Bear.)
Realizing that Senri is a bear +Anima, he does Mortal Kombat with him. He uses the darkness to his advantage to get some hits in on him while Nana gives Cooro a rope to hold onto as she flies him and an also grabbed Senri out of the mines. The three make it out...only to bump into the sheriff, who has now added "fighting" to the list of things he takes care outside of actual crimes.
Husky points out that the guy chasing them might be a slave merchant but the guy denies it, taking off his helmet to reveal himself as human and saying that Senri and the others attacked him first (Typical aigger to throw the people he admires under the bus at the first chance like that.).
The group are expecting Mr. Hops to disbelieve them on account of them being +Anima and he doesn't dispel their notions, leading the guy back in the mines to "chat"...
That's when this happens.
Tumblr media
He comes back out and says now it's "their turn"...
(I'd really like to leave the story off there but...here's what happened to the guy.)
Tumblr media
He boots the group out of town with money and jerky. Turns out that not only is he a +Anima himself, he had a good reason for being so hard on their asses: their bandit stunt makes +Animas look bad. He tells them to be proud of what they have or they can't live as people.
Our suddenly not woke group leaves off, saying he talks a lot for an old person (Ageism!) and Nana reveals she knew the guy was a freak but let Cooro go off to get drugged and sold anyway to teach him a lesson.
Tumblr media
And that's where the story ends.
ANIMA RATING
Artificial Anima: Fucking weirdo aside, the suit seems to be very efficient and, based on the wildcat, has various combat and exploration advantages. 9/10

Here's a interesting arkham knight riddler imagine idea.
In an alternate universe Edward is married to y/n, in this universe he isn't a villain but a hero. He uses his skills to create technology that helps Batman fight the bad guys. One day a new villian pops up in Gotham and has his eyes on Edward. They capture him, holding him hostage sending batman cryptic messages that he has to solve in order to save Eddie's life but, batman wasn't fast enough and Edward is killed. Stricken with grief over the loss of her husband, y/n goes into a depressed mania and tries to build a time machine hoping desperately to bring Eddie back. After multiple failed attempts she's finally believes she's created a functional time machine, batman tried to stop her from using it resulting in a altercation and her jumping in the portal. Instead of going back into time, she was thrown in an alternate dimension. Confused After realizing she didn't go back in time, she collapses in grief knowing that she'll never see her eddie again.
Than by some miracle she hears his voice following the sound she centers the city and she saw Edwards face on all of the monitors in Gotham, but this wasn't her Edward, he was wearing a green Hawain shirt, hair was disheveled with a pair of goggles and his face was more sunken in. She finally understood that she had entered a alternate universe.
She comes up with a plan to Edward's attention by doing the thing he loves most answering riddlers. She finds his little traps for batman and starts solving his games until one day, she was kidnapped by the riddler. He interrogated her, questioning if she worked for batman. After a while she explains everything to him, how they were married in a alternate dimension and how much she loved her Eddie that she'd do anything to have him by her side again.
Edward was very skeptical of her but let her stick around for his own observations after some time he ended up falling in love with y/n. They start dating but, y/n is struggling with accepting this new relationship because she feelings like she's using Eddie as a substitute for her husband, she misses his touch but their mindsets are completely different. This Eddie is more dangerous, he is a killer but y/n can't help but yearn for her dead husband.
Will she push aside her morals and beliefs to be with a alternate Edward or will she realize that damage she had caused by doing this instead of moving on?
P.s if anyone wants to write this, please do I'd love to read it 🥰💜💚💜💚

On Final Crisis: Secret Files, Grant Morrison describes Doc Fate as part of the Society of Super-Heroes, and says that amoung it's members is, sometimes, "the mysterious Bat-Man". Obviously, this Bat-Man haven't appeard in Multiversity. But how do you think this pulp version of Batman should be? It thought of him as Kirk Langstrom, the Man-Bat.
It being Kirk Langstrom could work. Maybe Bruce Wayne could exist in this world but he's not really Batman, maybe Batman's agent or secret identity or the source of Langstrom's money. I'm not particularly interested in Man-Bat as a character but the idea of him being this world's Bat-Man, or at least "a" Bat-Man, could be a good idea.
I find most versions of "Batman but he's pulp" to be generally really boring because they largely just go by the painfully standard route of "Batman but his outfit looks shabby and he's got a gun" and it often seems like it just amounts to a Batman that now kills and is less of a character than just an amalgam of pulp cliches (which is what Batman used to be before they created Robin and the iconic villains and the no-kill rule and started fleshing him out as a more unique character).
In fact I'm gonna just go ahead and stipulate that "Pulp" Batman should at least adhere to the main dude's policy of no guns. Whether he's killing or not, or how effectively he can manage himself, is up to debate, but let's get the obvious out of the way. Bill Finger described once that he envisioned Batman as combining traits from Douglas Fairbanks, Sherlock Holmes, The Shadow and Doc Savage, so we're gonna use these as some of the basis to work with.
Personally the best take on a Batman redesign schewing closer to pulp that I've ever seen would be "The Batman Investigations" by Imson on Deviantart, you can read more about it's respective designs there but I'll post it's idea for Batman below
Tumblr media
Bruce Wayne was born with high sensitivity to sunlight, keeping him indoors most of the day, and forcing him to wear tinted glasses when not. When his parents were killed by a mugger, the blast from the gunfire damaged his hearing, forcing him to wear hearing aid from an early age.
Bruce had a knack for mechanics, and living off the remaining funds left by his parents, he developed a few surveillance gadgets for police use. While trying to market them for the local police, he was hired by commissioner Gordon as a freelance detective. As his involvement with the force continued, he got the nickname The Batman from his striking appearance.
As a hired gun, his role grew to take on undercover investigations. He could use his equipment to take the cases further than regular detectives could risk, and the police would turn a blind eye to these acts, provided Bruce denied any involvement with the police should he get caught.
His most useful gadget is his mechanic surveillance bird dubbed Robin, used to keep watch on suspects without gathering attention.
This one I think works particularly well for a take on Batman that's more centered around street-level detective work, and I mean actual detective work. A Batman who's strong, but not much of a fighter, and his hearing disability doesn't lend itself to superpowers, it's something he has to work around through allies and gadgets and quick-thinking once he starts getting further into trouble. More of a Sherlockian Batman who contends with the kind of darkness that doesn't come with a status quo to sort itself out.
Now, if we wanna go more along the route of gritty pulp Batman, a more traditional Batman who's actually gonna out there in the night suplexing crime into the sidewalk, what comes to my mind design-wise is something of a cross between Denis Medri's Rockability Batman and Francesco Francavilla's Batman 1972

A Batman who's not exactly wearing a skintight superhero outfit full of gadgets but instead a coat of surprises, who's only really got a mask and goggles to protect his identity and also protect his face. A Batman who's smart and can do detective work, but really he's going out there every night to get the shit kicked out of him until he figures out what he needs to know to solve the case, no police involved. Sort of closer to how Denny Colt or The Moon Man operate, more in the Robin Hood and Zorro molds. This one is also somewhat in line with Golden Age pre-Robin Batman where his main distinguishing feature as a character was how utterly reckless and prone to jumping into a fight he was even by usual comic book/pulp hero standards.
The third option I'm thinking of is to take Batman closer to the superhero he is but still mired in enough pulp ingredients remixed differently to be recognizably different from his ordinary self. So instead I'm thinking to play up respectively the parts of Batman that are The Shadow + Doc Savage, to create Dark Science Batman. This one I think is a better answer as to the question "What would a fusion between The Shadow and Doc Savage look like" than my initial response of a depowered Black Terror, and this Batman would be considerably more inhuman and grandiose in scope than the other two, this would be a Batman who could dominate Justice League meetings by force of personality and create moon bases and contend with dimension-warping supervillains and whatnot.
This one is inspired by a redesign by Arryn Diaz and Dan Schkade's Jack Kirby Batman:

“In a WORLD gone MAD, this lone DETECTO-SCIENTIST must operate OUTSIDE the laws of society in order to defend its FUTURE!! BEWARE — THE BAT-MAN!!!” - Alternate Universe Jack Kirby, 1972
So these are three different directions as to how I think you could do a "Pulp Batman" well, although maybe not necessarily operating by how Earth 20 works. DC already has a billion zillion Batmen as is so I'm sure all these may have already been done at some point in Batman's history.
Of course, realistically speaking if Batman was a long-running and successful pulp hero he could have gone through variations of these depending on the decade, or the country (see: the many global variations of characters attached to the name Fantomas or Zigomar), if not the same narrative arc outright. Pulp heroes are shapeshifters by nature.
