poc main characters that are also sapphics, science fiction with heavy cyberpunk influences and fucking mechas, religious themes, citicism towards authoritarianism, generational trauma, actually good lesbian rapresentation (because its a rarity) and characters that are easy to love and to empathize with. its really just fun to read. i understand everything, but i think we should really hype this type of books. i need more sapphic sci-fi. here are the super cool covers.

The fact that Jenny was SO ready to just abandon the Gearbreakers if Eris died breaks me every time. She has created so many crazy things, has been at the heart of everything for basically her whole life. She has built AN ARCHANGEL by HERSELF, she has turned herself into a Pilot bit by painful bit, all for a better world. And she was ready to abandon it all, to let everything burn if Eris died. Eris is the strongest tether keeping her together. If Jenny doesn't make a better future for Eris, she does not care what happens without her.
