Y'all please tell me why I was on my Reddit and saw this

Like I will tell y'all right now. The worst older brother should not be up for debate.

It's Meliodas (I wouldn't say Gloxinia but I am confused as to why he didn't use the moon drip on his sister unless he thought she was already dead since her wings where cut off, her legs where cut off, and her eye was cut off)

We could literally argue about this all day but I have the evidence to back up why Meliodas is the WORST older brother on this list. Like I like Meliodas but I not his D rider. Give credit where it's due. Meliodas is the worst older brother on this list and we can argue about this if you guy's want. .

Just to be clear I do understand why Meli did what he did but damn Zeldris was locked away for 3000 years not knowing why all this happened and why his brother betrayed their race.

Hazbin Victorian flower Language HC

Meanings below the cut!

Hi hi!! Using my random knowledge for a few of the hazbin cast. Do reply with characters you'd like to see in the next three! Now, for the meanings:

Alastor

For Al I decided using mainly white flowers with dark meanings reflects how he tries to present himself as completely harmless to Charlie despite her clearly knowing he isn't.

Great laurel (rhododendron): This one is simple. Danger, beware. He's a dangerous force, and this is as plain as it can get.

Dragonwort: Horror. This reflects his gory, cannibalistic and frankly terrifying nature.

Dogsbane: Deceit, falsehood. Alastor is a manipulator, and he does it well. He's able to lie, twist his words and back people into a corner in order to make deals with him.

Deadly nightshade: This is a toxic perennial. It is physically dangerous and represents danger and betrayal. This one is far more clear, its in the name and I like to think it shows how he manipulates but everyone knows of his danger regardless. (its also referred to as property of the devil, linking back to the lilith theory a bit, but shhh)

Vox

Vox was tricky, it was difficult to find flowers which related to his personality but here goes.

Gloxina: Proud spirit. He's outwardly full of pride and performing to the demons of hell.

Narcissus: Egotism. This one's clear. He's excessively obsessed with his image, and is very threatened by Alastor in particular trying to ruin that. He wants to appear favourable to the public too.

French marigold: This has a few different meanings, but I want to focus specifically on wealth. He's incredibly wealthy with both money and power. Hell, he's literally a CEO. It can also represent cruelness and coldness due to jealousy.

Aloe: Listen, I don't know. I know he keeps a singular one on his desk somewhere in the tower and calls himself a gardener. Also, it represents bitterness. This is another show of his rivalry with Alastor (possibly due to previous friendship).

Lucifer

Red columbine: Anxious. Maybe not to everyone, but he's very conscious of being a good father and feels he underperforms consistently.

White chrysanthemum: Truth. He's the snake in the garden of eden, introducing free will and truth to humanity.

Apple blossom: How couldn't I! This one doesn't outright relate to Lucifer but come on, APPLE blossom. It means "fame speaks him great and good" and well, I'm assuming Hell fears him based on everyones reactions and the fact he's the literal king of hell.

Buttercup: Riches, memories of childhood. I know this is a stretch, but memories of childhood are his days as an angel and the other side of it riches represent his physical wealth.

What kind of flowers do (some of) the primarchs gift you ~♡

Includes: Corvus, Magnus, Vulkan, Fulgrim, Jaghatai, Angron, Konrad, Ferrus, Lorgar, Sanguinius, Dorn

Corvus: dark red roses and gloxina. dark red roses symbolise loyalty, love and eternal beauty, and gloxina represents love at first sight.

Magnus: rainbow roses, and glowing primroses. Roses because they're romantic and they're rainbow because "Magnus how did you-" "-I have my ways, my dear. Do you like them?", and primroses symbolise youthful love, a representation of how he feels a little more young when he's with you. How are the primroses glowing. Magnus please tell me they aren't deadly. Please.

Vulkan: pink roses and violets, they're a little singed on some of the petals and stems, but they're still pretty. Pink roses because they symbolise both romantic love and platonic - you are both his best friend and his greatest treasure - the light of his heart, and also sweetness. Violets symbolise faithfulness. Enough said.

Fulgrim: Hibiscus and morning glory. Morning glory symbolise affection and determination and the hibiscus, beauty and happiness - your beauty brings him such a profound sense of happiness, he doesn't know what to do with himself.

Ferrus: White roses and hydrangeas. White roses symbolise new beginnings and wisdom, and hydrangeas thankfulness and understanding.

Lorgar: lilies, phlox and gladiola. Lilies symbolise majesty and virtue, phlox unanmity and harmony. Also I'm pretty sure they're both toxic, and yet, they're beautiful. Gladiolus symbolise strength of character and moral integrity.

Konrad: a handful of Venice mallows with some of the roots still on and a single tuberose with...a...bite? Taken out of it? Venice mallows symbolise delicate, fleeting beauty, and tuberose symbolise dangerous pleasure. Konrad thought the mallows were pretty. The tuberose smelt nice. That's why Konrad ate it. It didn't taste as good as it smelt. Sorry, Konrad.

Khan: hyacinth and peonies. Hyacinths symbolise playfulness and peonies prosperity and compassion.

Sanguinius: bellflowers, sweet Williams and pansies. Bellflowers symbolise gratitude, sweet Williams symbolise gallantry and ask to "grant me a single smile", and pansies symbolise sweet thoughts.

Rogal: amaryllis, asters and false indigo. Amaryllis symbolise determination and creative achievement, asters symbolise elegance and patience - he will wait for you. He will always wait for you. - and false indigo symbolise immersion and intuition. He loves you. He truly does.

Angron: daffodils and lilacs, the stems are crushed, but the flowers themselves are unharmed. You do have to pry them from his hand though. Lilacs symbolise the first emotions of love and daffodils symbolise rebirth and new beginnings. They won't last that long with the mutilated stems, but they're lovely while they do.

So I'm doing research for another post, and I'm rewatching episodes, cuz google images is frickin useless, and I noticed an odd...discrepency between the sub and dub.

In the season 3 episode "Let There Be Light" when Harlequin and Diane are sent on that trial by Gloxina and Drole, there's a scene where Helbram is trying to wake Harlequin and Gloxinia addresses him. Helbram is surprised that Gloxinia can see him and questions it. In the English dub Gloxinia posits that it's because he's also a Fairy King, but in the sub he only says Fairy.

So, if we go with the sub there, would that mean any other Fairy can see Helbram as a spirit? Or should the dub be believed?

Edit: the manga also says "fellow Fairy". So...

Since fairies can read hearts- Elaine especially- if one were to really *read* Elizabeth's heart would they be able to see her past lives/memories since they are all technically there, she just doesn't remember them? And if Gloxina were to read it, would he be able to tell Elizabeth is the same one from 3000 years ago?? Lion: crocuses and forget-me-nots. Crocuses symbolise cheerfulness and forget-me-nots eternal memories. He's not the best at expressing his romantic thoughts out loud, so he hopes the flowers will suffice.

Perturabo: garden heliotrope and bellflowers. Heliotrope symbolises devotion and "dreams fulfilled" and bellflowers are gratitude. He is grateful for you and intends to stay by your side for as long as you'll stay by his.

Leman: gloxina and anemones. Gloxina represent love at first sight and a "proud spirit", and anemones symbolise anticipation. This man has been infatuated from the moment he saw you, and he can't wait to see what you bring.

Guilliman: honeysuckle and morning glory. Morning glory respresent affection and determination and honeysuckle represent devoted affection and domestic happiness. He is determined to be as good a husband whoops, I mean, as good a partner as he can be.

Mortarion: camellias and trumpet gentian. Camellias mean destiny, and trumpet gentian are power and healing. Well, I believe those speak for themselves, but he is utterly infatuated by you and your ability to love him.

Horus: sweet peas and irises. Sweet peas symbolise blissful pleasure and irises symbolise messages. Horus presents this bouquet to you with the happiest, lovestruck look on his face. He loves you and wants nothing more than you to understand that.

Alpharius: pansies, phlox and nasturtium. Pansies mean sweet thoughts, phlox unanmity and harmony and nasturtiums are victory and conquest. He sees your love as a personal victory, he won by being himself around you, he wants you to understand that he thinks very highly of you and he loves that you adapt so well to him. Interesting speculation

The fates of the Ten Commandments are all in pairs if you get me. Like:

Derieri & Monspiet are hiding in the cabin (or whatever they were doing)

Fraudrin & Galan both got killed (ok they got killed in TOTALLY different ways but let's just group them up here)

Gloxina and Dolor both resigned from the Ten Commandments

Melascula and Graylord both got MERLIN'D

and the two remaining (aka the demon bros) are Estarossa and Zeldris, who are both in Camelot which is where the sins are heading SOON.

So, there isn't a single Commandment that has their own fate (yet lmao we don't know if one of the demon bros are gonna die and the other is gonna give in or if neither of them are gonna die)

This whole thing could be pointless and possibly thought of before (I don't roll anywhere other than the Gowther tag so idk what's been done tbh) but I thought it was interesting so I thought I'd share it.

🍄When they decided to help Diane and King they realized that they weren't as recovered from their traumas as they thought. 🍄

🍄Gloxinia was originally fuming over the fact that Drole put Diane at risk like that. 🍄

🍄But he took it as a sign that Drole was still suffering and helped him accept things a little more. 🍄

🍄Then Gloxinia saw his sister alive. 🍄

🍄He was overjoyed that she was alive but felt really guilty. 🍄

🍄Drole was the one to console him. 🍄

🍄They healed together and Drole was the first to realize they should be together. 🍄

🍄Upon Gloxinia realizing that Drole had these feelings (and that he returned them) he asked him out. 🍄
