At least 190 people killed and 340 wounded in Gaza over the last 24 hours.
Dozens reported killed in the besieged southern city of Khan Younis as Israeli forces target hospitals, ambulances, and schools where thousands of civilians are sheltering.
Dr Ahmed al-Moghrabi, head of plastic surgery and burns at Khan Younis’s Nasser Hospital, says there is “bombing all around us”.
At least 25,295 people have been killed and 63,000 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The death toll in Israel from the October 7 Hamas attack stands at 1,139.

[ ID: Tweets from jia whose handle is @heartkiss_ on 28 October 2023 reading:
what is happening in palestine and sudan and the congo are not disparate causes that require dividing our attention, it is the same fight, several groups are facing occupation without coverage while palestine is being scapegoated, standing with palestine is standing with the rest
it's similar, in my mind, to how standing with haiti when they are repeatedly made an example of on the world stage is never solely about haiti, but about standing with the carribean, with enslaved africans, and with indigenous peoples across the 'new world' in general
corrections, as growing up in the imperial (imperial is censored with an exclamation mark) core has skewed my perspective: 1.calling congo "the congo" has imperialist (imperialist is censored with an exclamation mark) implications 2. while it's fair to link western black struggles to palestine the erasure of genocide on the african continent is more complicated than I thought
we can't conflate what is happening in congo or sudan to palestine, there is a history of northern african countries and countries in the middle east denying the atrocities there due to antiblack sentiment, we ought to highlight that erasure in discussions about global solidarity

Take a good look at the countries leading/have started the legal battles to hold the IOF accountable -their fights to end IOF terrorism and war crimes, as this should have been done months ago, are now beginning.
So many Palestinian people have been genocided, and the rampant global government inaction has caused chaos, death, and destruction of Gaza... I just hope this leads to a permanent ceasefire and an end to the occupation. I truly do.

Thanksgiving is a festive holiday that invites us to embrace the closeness of Family and Friends. Every new year brings moments to bond over hot meals, laughter, and openness shared with the company that loves us most.
This holiday season, let's invite those who couldn't make it. Actually, 365 works even better. 😽 🌻
We acknowledge the great colonial disruption suffered by the Indigenous People of the Americas and beyond. May their land be returned. We acknowledge our ancestors and relatives who live worlds apart because of diaspora or war. We remember the lost languages and traditions that could not share 2023 alongside us.
This is a call to action for tonight, and every night.
When asked for your interpretation of thankfulness or gratitude, invite THEM into your answer. Let it be known, that you remember and that you never intend to forget. 🌻

[Image IDs: the first tweet is from Lila Byock (@/Lbyock) from June 15th, 2023 and it reads:
Sarandos: Netflix is investing billions in Korean content to undermine American writers.
Korean writers: Fuck you, pay us.
That first tweet quote tweets the second image, a tweet from Tim Shorrock (@/TimothyS) from June 15th, 2023 that reads:
Korean writers picket in solidarity with Writers Guild of America. ✊
That tweet has a link to an article that I posted after it. /End ID.]
So, for those of you unaware: The Korean entertainment industry is an absolute nightmare. Actors have gone years never being paid for work they're owed pay on. The idol industry is terrible in all the ways. And it's honestly no surprise the industry is shit for writers as well. Glad to see the Korean writers are standing up for themselves too!
Edit: Not that anyone will see this because the post is too big now, but many writer organizations in countries around the world also participated in striking on June 14th, 2023.

"It's kind of crazy how different life is in Palestine versus here at the capital in DC. I mean we see it on our phones everyday n* are dying left and right; in Palestine, Sudan, Yemen, the Congo.
While the people of America just vibing out, looking forward to Halloween. Having a little Marine corps Marathon celebrating the imperial Stormtroopers.
For what? So the ruling class can make a couple extra bucks? So we can look at hahas on our phones all day, losing the essence of life more and more as time goes on, never once truly resisting and breaking free?
Sure we have our little protests a couple times a week, we march and scream that we'll shut it down, but ultimately, afraid to sacrifice the precious little we have left. We hold on tight to our comfort and go home for the night as the bombs continue to rain down on Gaza.
Just as the ruling class wants us to do. I mean think about it, how can we ever truly save Palestine if we can't even save ourselves? And I'm not talking just a ceasefire.
I mean true liberation; decolonization and freedom from capitalism. For all around the world, the only way is to sacrifice all we have to put everything on the line and come together, supporting one another as we fight. So we can finally create the world that we were always meant to live in.
I was losing my mind trying to push down these feelings, trying to just keep getting by; waiting for everything to change until finally I decided that I'm taking control of my life and I'll do everything I can to bring about this change even if I'm alone.
The spark has been ignited, my soul is on fire and one day soon I hope yours is, too."

Erasing Borders of Global Acceptance and Agreement
The writer of this blog aims to describe with this article why the title "erasing borders" was chosen. It calls for consideration of what will benefit all humankind instead of priority given to our national interest.
The “one giant step for humankind” hailed the technological achievements that enabled Neil Armstrong and Apollo crew to set their feet on the moon. But we are a long way from achieving the global understanding and trust required by the crises challenging our species today. One of this blog’s readers asked recently in the Comments section what I have in mind by the title “erasing borders”.  I am…

YOU CAN DESTROY PALESTINE BUT YOU CANNOT DESTROY THE HEART OF THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE
📹 Palestinians come together for the last Friday prayers of Ramadan while gathering in the rubble and ruins of a destroyed mosque in the Gaza Strip, following through on their Islamic traditions regardless of the Zionist genocide that looms over them at all times.

reminder that now until next sunday is the global strike for palestine called by bisan! don’t purchase anything other than necessities (or anything at all if you can avoid it), donate to organizations like the palestinian children’s relief authority or e-sims for gaza with money you would have used for coffee or something similar, attend prostests (masked) if possible, and continue to amplify the voices of palestinians on social media!
