BABIES AND CHILDREN THE FIRST TO DIE OF STARVATION IN THE GAZA STRIP

📸 Photos of a Palestinian mother who stands looking over her infant who just died of starvation and dehydration in Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip, this morning.

The baby, named Sahar Al-Zabda, succumbed to starvation and dehydration as a result of Israel's ongoing blockade of the Gaza Strip, preventing the entrance of humanitarian aid into the Palestinian enclave.

Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, spokesperson for Gaza's Ministry of Health, also announced the deaths of another 4 children who starved to death at Kamal Adwan Hospital, bringing the total number of deaths from famine to 10 in Northern Gaza so far.

Palestinian children have lost limbs, homes, families and friends. Everything has been painfully ripped from them.

For those who are desperate to not believe what is happening these are just a few of the 1000+ Palestian children who are now amputees, I found all their stories simply by searching 'palestine amputees' there are many many more:

Razan Muneer Arafat, age 11, lost both legs and her family (no updates found)

Hoor nusseir, age 1, lost hand and her family (has now been evacuated to qatar for treatment).

Adam Salem, 16, lost his leg (was gifted a prosthetic leg from a non profit)

Ibrahim Abu Ali, 12, lost his arm (no updates found)

Ahmed Shabat, 4, lost both legs and his family (no updates found)

Salwa UNKNOWN FAMILY NAME, 9, lost leg (no updates found)

Every one of these names is a real child, a real child who just wanted to grow up, play with friends and be with their family but now they have to fight so hard everyday to adapt and stay alive. The Israeli government is evil for what they have done to every innocent person in Palestine over the past 75 years.

Palestinian journalists are risking their lives to counteract the ‘Israeli narrative’

“Reporters working in Gaza told Novara Media they are living and working in constant fear of death. ‘I’m under huge psychological pressure, as I feel I could be killed at any moment,’ said freelancer Rakan Abdelrahman. Last month, three of Abdelrahman’s colleagues were killed while trying to film a building in Gaza which was about to be bombed. Wearing jackets and helmets that clearly identified them as press, the men set up hundreds of metres from the stated target, only for the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) to instead strike a different building, much nearer to where they were standing.

“Last week, the IDF told Reuters and Agence France Presse it could not guarantee the safety of their journalists in Gaza, leading the news agencies to release a joint statement describing the situation on the ground as ‘dire’. ‘The IDF’s unwillingness to give assurances about the safety of our staff threatens their ability to deliver the news about this conflict without fear of being injured or killed,’ the statement said.

“In its letter to the news agencies, the IDF claimed Hamas is deliberately putting military operations “in the vicinity of journalists and civilians”. But several journalists who spoke to Novara Media said they believe they are being deliberately targeted by Israeli forces. ‘There were threats to several places where I was present, including Hiji Tower and Al-Tabbaa Tower’, said Abed Elhakeem Abo Riash, who has worked as a freelance journalist in Gaza for 14 years. ‘These towers all house the offices of journalists and foreign agencies.’

“Last week, Abo Riash was told to evacuate a residential tower by Israeli forces. He struggled to carry all of his equipment – which included his sleeping gear, two cameras, a laptop and a first aid kit – down from the 14th floor, and feared he would not make it out in time. ‘I was very afraid. The army has mercy on no one,’ he said.”

Israel wants a ethnic state, and the west is supporting it. Israel is using tactics that apartied South Africa used.

Israel has been tearing up entire communities of Palestinian homes and families. Then, they'll construct new apartments that the Palestinians will be removed from living in.

No doubt that Israel will use the conflict to justify taking over the Gaza strip, completely cutting off all water access to Palestinians and removing the port that Palestine uses to survive.

in one of my classes we had to present speeches in front of the class and one kid literally did a speech on why we should support israel. his only reasons were basically because they would give america things for helping them.

now i know why he’s on israel’s side, i’ve heard bits and pieces and have concluded that his parents probably aren’t the best of parents, and that they’ve probably told him these things without telling or maybe even knowing how many innocent lives have been killed. but it’s still not okay.

to try to justify the genocide of thousands by saying that we can benefit from it is unacceptable. you cannot look at murder and see a paycheck and not the bodies.

Yk, there is actually a very fast way for Israel to stop being called "genocidal maniac." Just let Palestine do to the whole Israel the same thing hamas AND average Palestinians did to people on October 7th. Just let "never again" happen again. Of course, the world community will cry, "How did this happen? How did we let this happen?" but you see, the world can't live a single century without killing someone. And Jews are convenient, no one ever liked Jews anyway.

I'm glad Jews decided to fight back. And I'm disgusted to see people calling Israel "genocidal maniac just like russia" - when russia literally finances hamas, russia literally exchanges with hamas the knowledge of how to kill, rape and torture people better, russia literally has been participating in killing Jews for a looooong time.

I don't think such people even know what is genocide. Genocide first of all happens on the territory, which then spreads genocide on its neighbours. For example, russia: they throw to prisons Ukrainians for being Ukrainians, they rename stolen Ukrainian children to "something more russian", they erase our language and culture methodically, they rape our women "so that you will never have children". Nothing like this happens in Israel. This is something that happens in Palestine.

Although I understand what people who lost their homes due to shelling feel, and I believe no one has the right to tell such people, "You shouldn't be angry", calling Israel the genocidal maniac means directly supporting russian propaganda and directly supporting hamas - and I cannot support people who support hamas.

I don't want to be silent just because hating Jews is fashionable again.

i hate having social anxiety. i want to scream free palestine/fuck colonialism everywhere i go. i want to TALK about it everywhere i go, in every way that i can, but no, human interaction makes my throat close up, and that is not a metaphor. i literally can't fucking speak, and it's painful in every way.

this is the way it's always been for me. all this heart of burning sun and no fucking outlet for the fire. i want to bathe the world in warmth and light, but i'm a lonely star raging in a soundless void.

i am of mexican american descent. my culture and ethnicity are half indigenous, half colonial settlers. how fucking dare anyone allow the continuous of the rape and genocide of palestinians and their land. the western world and its ideals has been nothing but a false glory. colonialism is the bane of existence. humans deserve better than this self-injected plague. the palestinians deserve freedom and the respect of life, the natural born right to live and thrive.

One of the things that pisses me off most about this genocide and overall occupation is how many people say it's so complicated and there's so much nuance and there isn't one easy solution. This is one of the simplest things I have ever seen. Zionists invaded palestine in 1947-48. They have occupied it for 76 years while taking more and more land. They kidnap and torture and massacre Palestinians day in day out for those 76 years. They control every aspect of Palestinian life, including their water and medical care. And now they are committing another genocide against them. Where is the complication? What is hard to understand? "Well, Jewish people need a place where they won't be discriminated against" I absolutely agree. So make every country in the world safe for Jewish people. Fight against anti Semitism across the world. Don't commit a genocide and set up an ethnostate.
