Okay but this is funny. 

So when they heard about that Aybike and Asiye will work at a supermarket, Berk looks worried, but Doruk is relaxed. I mean, because the guy probably thinks "naah, just a supermarket, why are you worried, thank God, at least a proper job finally."

Berk isn't accustomed to it, because he hasn't had worrying “Aybike” experiences. So Berk starts speaking about his worries (like what are their work conditions, will they have enough time to rest etc etc) and Doruk probably must have had dozens of flashbacks. Asiye's hurting hands, Asiye's near death experiences, Asiye's cruel bosses,etc etc. 

And be like "sh.t yeah, given my girl's unbeliveable bad luck, a supermarket can be still dangerous". Lol.

Poor boy, you live in Kardeslerim Universe, which must be called Unfortunate Events That Happened to Eren Siblings.

can kardeslerim have one episode like one singular episode (in s3) where it doesn't have meaningless plot and actually give more room for their Characters to explore like atp I find s3 so goddamn annoying (their whole friend group is gone obviously with upcoming dorber reconciliation you'd think I'd be excited but nope, the old taste is gone and the newly forged friendships feel fake af) like it's not even after ayber reconciliation I find myself enjoying the show, so many unnecessary Characters yet surprisingly no good friendship?!!!? like excuse me why does this show have such shit writing! I've watched so many shows and even trash cw shows have better writing than this show (which makes me sad because I think the show had really good writing concerning the young cast in s2 even if say up untill resul's death, the writing was good then idk what happened but everything kind of scattered away especially friendships 😭 and I'd even be okay if they were consistent with writing main characters properly, THEY COULDN'T EVEN DO THAT, you're telling me asiye would forgive doruk that easily 🙄 or cry because of some random girl)

Hi! Are you watching any Turkish Dizis right now? I just started watching Kardeslerim and it’s really good. It’s a drama and can be quite sad and depressing but I’m getting addicted. I know you’re into dramas so I thought I would recommend.

At the moment, I am not. Work has gotten very busy and my poor brain is unable to focus on Turkish things atm. That latest one I watched was Kuzgun.

That one was incredibly frustrating, because the general idea was brilliant, the characters as conceived in the first 3 episodes were brilliant, and the casting was A+. But the writing sucked. Like good god it was straight up awful. The only consistently written character was Kuzgun, but Dila literally changed personalities every three episodes, depending on what the narrative needed her to do. She was either a hypocritical and unlikable asshole, or a dumb, naïve little girl, or a woman who had had been through hell and stayed as strong as she could for as long as she could. Tbh I hated her most of the time, she was really awful. And season two was a whole travesty.

Anyway, thanks for suggestion! I'll put it on my list, although tbh I don't love watching dizis that are that long, but I've heard good things about it! I do love a good, deeply depressing drama lol.

Just watched the recent episode of Kardeslerim... I am not okay!

I knew Turkish dramas were on a whole other level but listen, I grew up on Mexican novelas. Girls always tripping on stairs and guys falling over cliffs, but like they won't be killing off whole secondary characters like that!

What did you think about kardeslerim episode this week? We are getting bad filler episodes again after two good episodes 😭

Well, the new characters were introduced, some dynamics have changed, but the problem is that we watched this scenario last year, the new siblings, the new bad "aunt", the same stupid behaviors, overreacting etc etc. Aunt Sevgi is a breath of fresh air, thanks for that, but the new characters seem to be the old ones we said goodbye to. And the fact that everybody is in the same classroom has become too absurd. I know even the show makes fun of it but still it's too repetitive.

And still there is nothing new about Asiye and Doruk. Even the new girl is Özge 2.0 At this point I am just curious what the writers are planning to do with Doruk, because he isn't a character that they can push aside even for a little while. Either they will write something too risky and dangerous for his character arc which may make us regret our complaints or give us minor surprising scenes and play safe again.

can’t believe aybike shared one of the cutest (?) scenes in the kardeslerim season finale with tolga lmao with freakin’ tolga who -coincidentially- finds silly sending flowers as a get well present and instead gave her a bag of plums. and the audacity the writers have in showing berk with a bouquet of flowers as if he doesn’t know that aybike, his grilfriend, doesn’t like flowers asasdsfg and yeah, I like the harmony melis minkari and berk ali have together as actors, but tolga character is now at a point where is not easy to redeem him. Berk is different, yes he also did terrible things to aybike and her family in the past but his redemption was on time which is not tolga’s case because he has been doing even worst things to the eren family and hasn´t stop. and if aybike starts liking him... well, girl wtf with you liking the people who hurt your family xdddd

Can I just highlight how salty I am about the new Turkish dizi’s about highschoolers on FOX ~ they’re gonna get such better storylines AND they’ve got a good cast. I feel robbed 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😭😭😭😭

girl same 😭😭 There is also another “high school” serie called “Duy Beni”, it’s like production companies saw the success “Kardeslerim” had with that basic script and said “Oh we can definitely do this but better”. Maybe if one/both of these shows get high ratings, Gul Abus will consider changing her script 🙄
