Hello! The evil au got me thinking and I'm liking the idea of the nations each having their own brand of terrible. Mondstadt with the Freedom code really reminded me of the Wine God Bacchus' maenids and how they drink, be merry, and rip apart anyone who disturbs their party time. Which is all the time. It is a very lawless land but still surprisingly tame compared to the other regions. After all, no one can party well if everything is in shambles and its not everyone's ideal lifestyle to be drunk every day. There's SOME responsible people keeping people (Gunhildr clan) keeping things fairly in order so the party never stops. It's almost the national motto. "You never stop partying". Liyue is fucking terrifying, the most oppressive, militaristic and capitalistic area ever. They're definitely conquerors, taking after their dear, beloved, departed Archon Morax. If they can't conquer you through war then it'll be through the market. The only reason they don't go too far beyond Liyuan borders is that they already have a large chunk of land to operate and branching out too much would be dangerous if they would then need to install deputies and landlords elsewhere. More people with power equals more enemies, and there's a reason the TianQuan sticks to a strict 7 (?) Leader Party system. Sumeru hoards all the secrets of the world and dares to venture deeper. Honestly, the in-game version is pretty corrupt to me, but lets take it a step further. Art is genuinely criminalized. The Sages and Researchers perform live experiments on the non-academic populace and that's why everyone there FIGHTS to be a member of the Akademiya to escape the experiment camps. They even buy and steal people from other nations to ensure they have enough lab rats around to do their experiments. There is no ethics at all, only SCIENCE. IDK THE OTHER NATIONS THO SO IDK WHAT THEYD DO BUT IM SURE MIGHT IS RIGHT DEF APPLIES TO NATLAN AND SNEZHNAYA (although I can see Snez being more orderly and government run because the Tsaritsa enjoys controlling her minions and its not fun if she cant lord it over others like Morax does his Liyue Army)
anon i adore this! thank you for the elaborate brainrot on evil genshin au! mondstadt gives me casino vibes where everyone is technically enjoying themselves but it's an addicting system. Liyue as a conqueror nation makes a lot of sense! especially in modern economics.

☆ sickly sweet poison
{☆} characters tsaritsa, harbingers [ mentioned ] {☆} notes cult au, imposter au, drabble, gender neutral reader {☆} warnings isolation, starvation {☆} word count 0.6k
You lose track of time so easily in the suffocating walls of your room. You can only guess, generally, how long has passed by how the logs burn in the grand centerpiece of a fireplace, drowning the entire room in vibrant hues of orange at all times. Servants come every few hours to stoke the flames and add more, should it be needed, but they do not listen to your pleas, hurriedly scurrying out of your room as if they had never been there at all.
It was..surprisingly lonely, despite how often the Harbingers visited.
You did not even know what the hall outside your door looked like, beyond the brief glances you managed to steal when it was opened. They showered you in affection and gift, your closet bursting at the seams with new clothes and the bowl of imported fruit sitting untouched - they claimed to love you, to adore you, to worship the very ground you walked upon..so why, then, did you feel more like a bird, trapped within a cage of it's own making?
You should have never trusted them to protect you from the other Acolytes. Death, you think, would have been sweeter then the poison they feed you with every pretty lie they tell you.
We're just protecting you, Most Divine.
The others cannot be trusted. They have failed you once already, what's to say they shall not do so again?
You are safe with us, Divine One.
You no longer believed a word of it. Not since they locked you in the palace, in the room you once viewed as a safe haven from the cruelties of the world. You were blind to their own cruelty, as they made it your prison.
"Divine One?"
Heels clicked against the floorboards, the door shutting softly behind her, as the cold that followed her like her own shadow swept over you. Even beneath the heavy blankets and despite the freshly stoked fire burning every so brightly, you could not help but shiver. You felt sick, dread clawing at your throat as the bed dipped, calloused, gentle hands brushing your hair away from your eyes.
You wish she would at least pretend, just like the rest, that your isolation was for the greater good. It was so very easy to hate them. But she would not hide her intentions behind falsities - she was simply selfish.
"My Harbingers tell me you refuse to eat," Her voice is uncharacteristically soft, but you sense the dull threat offered beneath her honeyed words, "Must I remind you, Divine One, that I am not above forcing you, if I have to?" Her tone turns bitter, fangs peaking from beneath plump lips as you tearfully meet her eyes, shivering beneath her cold hands and even colder eyes, dissecting you and pulling apart your defenses until you become pliant.
"It truly pains me to do so, Divine one, so let us not make this any harder then it has to be for either of us." You tense, freezing like a deer in headlights as her hand slips to the back of your neck, nails digging into your throat enough to make a point, the bed dipping even further as she leans down, "I hope I will not have to ask you again."
"..Okay."
You barely hear your own voice over your heartbeat, your hands still trembling as she takes them in her own, "There we are. I knew you'd see reason." As if waiting for your eventual compliance, the door opens again, the overwhelming smell of food filling your room as multiple servants shift in and out, lining the table in the far corner of your room with more food you would eat even on a good day.
You are sure she senses your uneasiness, but she peels the layers of your bedding away all the same, hands shifting beneath your knees as she lifts you away from your last remaining comforts, cradling you against her chest.
Had you known love could be so cruel, you never would have stepped foot into the wolves den - death was a mercy, now.

This is an interesting thought suddenly popped up while listening to some music recently...
The seven Gnoses were actually created from seven fragments of the Divine Creator's soul after they had disappeared from the face of Teyvat a long time ago.
These seven powerful fragments, each containing different elemental energy, turned into beautiful chesspiece-shaped sources of power that were then given by Celestia to the seven victors who won the Archon War, who became the Main Seven.
It was said that once someone combines all the gnoses and wields them at the same time, it will summon the Divine Creator back to rule Teyvat and Celestia, and to bring peace over the land.
Flash forward to the present, the Tsaritsa was actually collecting all the Gnoses to summon the Divine Creator in order to avenge Khaenri'ah and break their curse cast by Celestia as a punishment, by taking the Gnoses away from her fellow Archons, whether by diplomacy or by force.
When she finally completed them, she summoned the legendary deity. At the same time as she summoned the Creator using the Gnoses, bright gold and purple meteors were suddenly seen on the skies of Teyvat, brightening the night sky and the Visions of the Vision Holders. Tsaritsa was confused when they never showed up as soon as she summoned them using the Seven Gnoses, so she brings her Harbingers and the Fatui to find you, bring you to Snezhnaya, and protect them at all costs.
Meanwhile, people were talking about the mysterious event for days, and the six remaining Archons knew why this event had been happening. It's been prophesized in the ancient texts, after all.
It's time for the Divine Creator of Teyvat to claim their only right to the throne.
Under all this chaos, they had never noticed that a certain glowing golden meteor landed somewhere in the city of Mondstadt and you were there, now groggily awake in your regular hoodie and pants ensemble, with a Vision-like thing on hanging on your hip and glows like a primogem.
Unfortunately, the cruel gods now presiding Celestia know that you were summoned and fearing that they will lose their hold to the power that were supposed to be rightfully claimed by the Creator, they decided to manipulate the people of Teyvat into hunting the "imposter" for exchange of huge power and a chance to become a god given by Celestia.
Of course, people would definitely take the bait and proceed to hunt the "imposter" out of greed or justice, ranging from normal NPCs to the defeated and weakened gods in the Archon War who had allegedly participated in Celestia's bait so they could have Celestia's approval and take revenge against the Seven.
Whatever their reasons, it's still going to be dangerous to the young player who was now trying to survive while traversing the land of Teyvat with crazed people chasing the ends of the world to find you, not knowing that the player was the actual Creator.
The Seven Archons knew about Celestia's plan to eliminate you and vowed to protect the Creator, but they had to be subtle or they would risk themselves and their nations to the wrath of Celestia. The hope in their hearts know that they would find you so they could help you take down Celestia and take your place on the throne, so they subtly helped you whenever you stepped into their nations.
-----
And you will ask, "What about the twins, Paimon, and the Abyss?"
Well for the Abyss, it depends. It's a good opportunity to take the offer of Celestia so they could force the gods above to remove the curse, but their hatred and distrust for the sky kingdom above for the destruction of their homeland were greater than any rewards they will receive from the wretched gods.
Besides if they could find you first, they could convince you to join them and their plan for their cause. They may not worship this Divine Creator too much like Teyvat has (of course, they're from a godless nation) but they will do everything to avenge the fallen city of Khaenri'ah and possibly try to rebuild the city through your guidance and power.
The twins are a different story.
The Traveler knew you were the Creator because they had a deep connection to you, but may still stick to their original intentions. They will seek you partially to ask questions about their siblings' whereabouts and the truth of this world. Because you're an important asset to Teyvat, they will do their best to protect you because it's the right thing to do, not because they worship you. After all, you're a person in need of help to their eyes, even though you're technically a god now.
Paimon would definitely be suspicious of you but she will still do anything to get along with you. When you asked her though, she just doesn't know why she felt that way unto you. Whether this Paimon would be a traitor or a real ally is still the question, you never knew.
The Abyss Twin would definitely seek you, for you as a key to their cause, they thought your presence and hidden powers would make the "Loom of Fate" operation work successfully without anyone stopping the Abyss from doing it. All they need is to befriend and convince you to join their cause and agree with their plans. Unfortunately for them, you need too much convincing.

Heaven Sent pt. 3
================================================
Tumblr media
================================================
Previous parts: Part 1 and part 2.
Not proofread, oop [1.8k words]
des: A third addition to my ongoing FemReader x Cyno brothel series.
warnings: light drug usage, brief violence, and choking (#notkinky ofc).
Don't worry y'all! it's not as heavy as it looks. This series will have a good ending :))
================================================
Before he could stand up and blast his friend for being tardy, the general had already entered, and the air around him was far from pleasant. So, he decided to cast aside his previous words of banter in favor of the matter at hand.
"You're later than our scheduled time, did something come up? How is she?" He queried and was glad to have assessed him earlier. There was certainly malice, with an aura that only matched the one that led the Mahamatra.
An aggression to unjust acts.
"Nari,” he spoke, voice laced in apprehension. “I feel sick to my core."
He says, clearly upset as he sat himself at a round table in the room, folding his arms as he did. Upon hearing that bit from him, Tighnari's ears knowingly laid flat on his head —there was no medicine he could concoct that would remedy this. A simple hearing’s out would usually suffice, but this was no ordinary occasion as a friend needing to vent.
He sat across him, ready for a debriefing of the operation and more importantly, the root of his friend’s anguish.
"Today, I gave her the orbs that you made for me."
"And?"
"She will do it, the task. But I can't shake the feeling that if…if only I…" Cyno halts, ashamed to say the next chain of his thoughts. Luckily, there was a botanist that could, and it made him cringe to see the general at a loss in his convictions. He grumbled at the sight,
"If only what? You could do better?" Without meaning to, he tsk' at the poor fellow in front of him. This was no time for self pity.
The fennec man sighs, rubbing his temple with his fingers before glancing back at his friend. It’s been a long day for the both of them, and so, he advises the obvious to him,
"Stop being harsh on yourself, Cy." Tighnari leans into the table, trying to beckon the man in front of him to reason.
"Now that you know what you have to do, it makes no sense to mope about it."
"I understand that much.” Cyno replies, though his expression suggested his feelings remained. “It’s just that I can't help thinking that this could have been prevented…"
Tighnari raises his brow, "What could've been prevented?"
"Any of this."
For once he remains silent because it’s true. There were obviously variables that were within the Mahamatra’s control, but sometimes, just sometimes, it so happens to slip past them at a blink of a moment. In the end, there’s just some things that can’t be prevented, even if he tried. That’s just the truth.
Now how could he convey that to someone as upright as Cyno?
Perhaps not…
Even so—There is still hope to right what’s been wronged.
Tighnari recalls the times Cyno had mentioned her, the woman in the brothel. The fennec man figured that she's the hope in this equation, well, more so in his equation with how the general openly fretted.
"Are you worried about her?"
"I am but…not as much as I was expecting to be.” Very slightly, Tighnari notices the change in the air from the way he spoke of her just as he always has from previous rendezvous.
“She's strong."
Cyno’s body finally relaxed after relentlessly sitting firm and uptight in his seat. Allowing his back to lay on the backrest, his gaze expressed that his mind was somewhere else, far away. As eager as the botanist is, he chose to withhold his own curious observations of him for another time.
For now, it'd be best to just let themselves ease up after an eventful day. Tomorrow brings a new set of challenges.
“Let’s believe in her then, for all our sakes.” Cyno hummed in agreement and sighed at the moon.
The following evening, everything had been set in motion. You had personally asked the women working tonight’s shift to leave the target be, so that he could be locked on you alone, –and sure enough, he came by.
He bore a seemingly plain looking face. A smile from him would be as inviting and hospitable as any vendor on main street, no one would be the wiser to know that he comes to a place like this when night falls, or that he would be the culprit to many heinous things in the deep underground of the desert. Not that you needed Cyno’s information to know that he’s scum. But if you were still somehow not sold, then that smug grin and cockish air to him would’ve done it for you. For now, that attitude is welcomed. You knew right away how to get this type of person under your will.
“A drink, my lord?” You kneeled to his side, offering the drugged chalice with lidded eyes that looked through your lashes. The man above you snickered, enjoying your ignorance.
“I’m no lord, my dear.” He passed a dark chuckle that made your skin crawl. “Just a man with heavy pockets.”
At plenty of others’ disposal. You wanted to say, regret becoming you for not spitting in his drink.
Fortunately, that did not last long because with all guard down, this gullish man took it and chugged it in a gulp.
With his average body, the drug was taking effect by how his eyes started to daze.
Here’s my cue.
Instantaneously, you feigned being flustered by glancing away. Tucking the strands of hair that escaped behind your ear, showing off your prettily blushed cheeks as you do.
“Ah…I’m sorry, sire…I noticed the quality of your clothes and assumed so,” you lean in, pressing a gentle hand on his thigh and your warm perfumed breath hits his neck,
“H-how could you know…the wi..ser? Hah..a..sit with me.” His words slurred as he struggled to stay awake.
“Of course, sire.”
A few teasing touches later and he was dragging you to a room, but not just any room, though. It was a room furthest from the main hall so noise wouldn’t be heard, and a wide window showcasing the waste land. Perfect for anyone to just climb into and abduct someone. Honestly, you had to pat yourself on the back for getting this room all to yourself at short notice.
The job wasn’t done just yet though. You still had a bumbling bastard to deal with. He was almost out of it, so you coaxed him to rest his head on your lap. Once you heard heavy snoring rolling in, you pinched his cheek just a bit to check if he was truly asleep. When all you got in response was an increased volume of snoring, you dropped your infatuated facade and shoved his head off your lap.
You grabbed a wet cloth from the corner of the room and wiped the areas he made contact with, then threw it at his face. You then hang up the green colored shawl, signaling to Cyno’s aids hiding nearby that the target is ripe for the taking.
As you waited for minutes but it felt like hours, a shrill scream broke from the quiet ambiance and echoed down to your room. It startled you to say the least, but your uneasiness didn't subside because the scream had evolved to shouting.
Carefully, you moved to the locked door and pressed an ear to it. From what you've gathered of muffled voices, it seems to be a one-sided argument between the Madam and a client.
You sigh, there was nothing to worry about after all.
"Y-you…ungrateful wench...!" Your breath got caught in your throat as the horror of the man's hand on your ankle gripped you to the point of pain. Out of instinct, you kicked his nose with all your might, a small crack and pained groan emitted from him, and momentarily released you to hold the injured area.
You dash to the corner of the room where you tucked your things as the man crawled to you on his forearms, his lower body likely still numb from the drug.
"Y-you did something, didn't you?!" He manages to lunge for your leg and knock you down to the ground with him.
You can't scream for help. Whether that be the fact that if you did, you'd be as good as dead once the man tells her what you did, or the fact that it would be fruitless to cause no one would be able to hear you. Not when you purposefully picked the furthest room, and especially not when there was loud arguing going on.
So, you had to fight for your own. Continuously kicking your other leg to his face. Hoping to buy you time.
But for what?
How long will it take for them to show up?
Like always, and for many times more, no one will help you.
You were doomed from the start.
No.
Your mind spared a moment of clarity in the midst of all the negativity clouding it, and in that split second, a chance was thought of.
Your hand dived for something tucked in your things. Your hand searched and searched while your heart beat fights with panic. The man is up to your waist now, clawing at you until finally, your fingers brush against that familiar material. You grasp the orbs and pull it out from the sack.
I'm not helpless now.
With the orbs in the tight of your hand, you reach for the green cloth that hangs at the window and wrap it at the man's neck, tightening it in a chokehold. The man instinctively places his hands at the cloth, trying to pull away from the sudden loss of air.
Taking advantage of the moment, you knee him at his stomach, weakening him enough to roll yourself atop of him.
You then release the cloth briefly for him to gasp for air, –and only for your hand to shove the orbs in his mouth. You clasp onto his mouth with every bit of adrenaline strength granted you.
He, however, fought to swallow them so you quickly knee him in the middle where it's little. He winces and tries to gasp at the pain contracting his abdomen, but he ultimately intakes the drug. You release his mouth from your grip and he urgently coughs in between his gasps for air. He knocked on the floor harshly as his body once again tingled into numbness.
He tries to get up again, but with the lingering numbness from earlier still in effect, and the fresh dosage he just had, he succumbed to another slumber.
You push him away from you and back yourself to the corner, trying for the life of you to calm down your own adrenaline. No matter the method, you failed to compose as your breaths were still coming in like waves. While you did, your mind was replaying the moments fresh of passing.
Your eyes solely on the unconscious man in front of you.
In fact, you were so focused on him that you hadn't noticed the hooded figure sitting at your window, who also witnessed the last minute of your ordeal.
"You handled that pretty well." Another voice spoke suddenly into the room.
================================================
A/N- To the folks that come back to this, thank you for your patience :)) (u guys help me fight my commitment issues <3).
There was def a lack of cyno w/ reader here but fret not, it'll all be made up for in the next part.

do you think that the characters get really afraid/upset by the fact that when you're exploring outside of your "designated zone" paimon can completely take control over their body?
The fact that they can feel you fighting desperately against the opposing force, they can only sprint a few feet until neither of you have any form of control.
Do you think they hate Paimon for it? Because she's imposing on your haphazardly drawn strings? Imposing on power that only you should have?
Or perhaps you both were always made to have this power? Perhaps they just don't want Paimon to have this power. They don't like your little guide for directing you in directions you don't want to go, for infecting all of your decisions. For being the deciding factor in everything. She is your eyes ears and mouth, nothing is truly fully under your control.
Yet.
Hopefully, once you arrive in Teyvat, you can change that.

Hi!
I just wanted to say what if the reader (from the fic where dottore put foul legacy’s blood was put into the reader) well what if they were out into a type of stasis and that’s why they were thought to be dead. And they walk in and find that your body is gone. When childe is back to normal he goes on a mission into the forest and he finds an abysal monster roaming the forest and whether or not he realises who it is can be up to you, I just think that it would be cool. You can ignore this if you don’t like this idea!
🍑 anon
(related to this post and the ones before it <33) yesss, YEEESSSSS MORE ANGST MORE ANGSTTTTT *EVIL GIGGLING*
alright hear me out- once Dottore finally retracts his claws and allows Childe to transform back into his human form (mostly because the Tsaritsa ordered it), Childe remembers almost nothing from his ordeal. he only knows that something happened, that he had to be "hospitalized", and that you were mysteriously gone- why? he had been so forward to seeing you again, after so long, but now you've vanished. Dottore merely shrugs when asked, and Pantalone has to keep from cursing whenever your name is mentioned. none of the other agents will give him an answer, either looking confused or hastily walking away from the Eleventh, almost tripping over their guilt
something is wrong here. Childe can feel it in his bones. but what?
the moment he's deemed well enough, he's dispatched on a mission- the Tsaritsa's missed her finest weapon, after all- it's actually quite close to Snezhnaya, and Childe finds himself staring out at the snowy expanse, fingers idly tapping his bow. he's tired, more tired than usual, whatever put him in the medical wing definitely took its toll. even worse, he doesn't have your hugs to lift his spirits, the exhaustion weighing heavily on his shoulders, and the Harbinger lets out a sigh that mists and clouds the freezing air
there's a crackling crunch, and Childe snaps his head around, summoning his Hydro blades and stalking towards the source of the noise. he's already irritated and eager to kill whoever or whatever interrupted his thoughts- but when he sweeps aside the snow-dotted branches he gasps and jumps back, the sight of an Abyssal creature throwing him off balance. he should attack it- he should kill it, rid the Tsaritsa's domain of something so tainted like himself-
but the terror in the monster's familiar eyes made Childe stop cold, weapons falling from his hands as he rushes to cup your cheeks in his hands, tears filling his ocean-colored eyes as he stumbles over choked words
"Starlight-? It can't- No- Not you too- Oh, what did those monsters do to you???"
he's crying, pressing his forehead against yours, heart breaking at the pained whines and squeaks you let out and oh, how could he be so stupid?? it all makes sense now, why everyone except Dottore seems so on edge, why you seemingly vanished into thin air, why Foul Legacy's been horribly silent ever since he woke up. now his Abyssal half cries with him, extending his claws in desperation to hold you close, ensure that you're alive and not a cold corpse in the ground somewhere, even if you're in a different form
Childe hugs you as tightly as possible as Foul Legacy wails in his head, fingers tightening around you as he swears, to you, to the Tsaritsa, to the Abyss itself-
Dottore will pay.

I'm new and just came from your mondstadt as a sincity post, and had a brainrot to share about it, hope this is not against the rules!
Imagine in the evil au accidentally managing to catch the eye of one of the archons and them trying to make you theirs, especially with venti, imagine him trying to protect you because he knows what state of chaos mondstadt is in out there and in the end chaining you down to him just like decarabian did to old mondstadt
thank you for the additional thoughts! a little obsessive archons are just 🥺 in a way, they're aware of what's wrong with their nations but it's just hehxjjsjx
idk, im still trying to figure out how an evil au would work. i want to differentiate it from a yandere au (as it's not something im that into), while still maintaining their vital characteristics hdjdhxjsjdh this is a little difficult to brainrot. i think venti would try to shelter MC though, it suits the twisted version of his personality

Thinking about Venti's wish and og powers translating to his witch form in the Madoka au
Like, it doesn't have anything to do about splitting, but he can be in multiple places at once because of some minor time powers. And by that, I mean he could isolate an event and place a version of himself at a different point in time relative to it and the timeline where he changes something also happens at the same time where he originally was at
When it comes to his witch form, the arms and harp strings kinda reference that. Like how he tries to simultaneously change things, plus the strings being a reference to the fate he tries to change. But y'know, the paper hands kinda break every time he tries to use the strings, which calls back to how he ended up Like That in the first place

Okay i hate rp sometimes because what do you mean im not writing some symbolic piece of literature. Giving away a flower crown, a gift from your forbidden lover who believes you are true royalty, to your sister, whom you had just backstabbed aforementioned lover for, in a way that represents both how your love for her outweighs your love for them, as well as how you would give up your entire life for her, how you’ve already given up your life for her
