Hi!! My name is Charlotte, I'm a depressed, bisexual, autistic, actress, artist, and theater kid with high levels of anxiety! and a Starkid & Dead Boy Detectives, hyperfixation! Here I post my writing, incorrect quotes, and some of my ship children and ocs.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

706,964 woah so not quite a million but uh I have shit to say apparently

3. What fandoms do you write for?

46 of the 49 fics are glee lmaooo, two are Newsies and one is Roswell, New Mexico! I anticipate more Newsies (Javid) fics to come because I’m obsessed

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to respond to as many as I can, but I usually forget lol. If someone leaves an insightful comment though it will usually spur a long conversation in the comments and I LOVE IT

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

If The World Was Ending bc they uh :) die, technically speaking

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Uhhhh probably every other one??? I really don’t like sad endings so most have a happy ending, but i actually really like the ending to Stick Season because despite it being so terribly emotional and angsty, I feel like the ending is a turnaround and really hopeful!

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not really? A few annoying comments telling me characters wouldn’t act this way, and one asking me “where my creativity was” which rubbed me the wrong way but I try to focus on the positive ones! Those definitely linger in my mind longer 💞

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Don’t look at me. Yes. Sometimes. Idk man sometimes those dudes just need to fuck it out???? But I usually only write it if the story feels like it’s naturally going there. It’s never really porn for porn’s sake (for clarification there’s nothing wrong with that we all love a little pwp), it’s usually the sappy emotional kind that’s mostly feelings and vague descriptions. it’s definitely not my forte and something I still get a little embarrassed and self conchas about lmao

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Not recently but I did have a Supernatural/Glee crossover a few years ago (shut up I was 16) and honestly it was loads of fun! Blaine was the child of that Gay Angel and Repressed Bisexual Man. Absolutely a slay

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don’t think so? But a few old ones from my fanfiction dot net page ended up on one of those search engine thingies??? Idk how to explain it or how to take it down but honestly… I have bigger problems lol

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No but if anyone ever wants to let me know!!! It would make me so happy!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yeah! Quite a few actually. I usually do the franken-fic every year and I did the roulette challenge and that m aforementioned crossover was actually a collab! Some of my favorite memories was writing the final chapter of A Night At The Ryerson House with @esperantoauthor 💞

14. What’s your all time favourite ship?

OOF. Okay so. With 46 fics on AO3 you could say Klaine has a special place in my heart, buuuuuuut…….. my best friend introduced me to newsies in April and I seriously think it did something to my brain chemistry because Jack and Davey own my entire ass

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Ugh. I’m so fearful that I’ll never finish Amidst The Chaos, which I LOVE but takes so much out of me. There’s also one I’ve never posted called “Strangers Again” that involves like timeline jumping but in a romcom way that I’m not sure how to go about??? Also the community college one. I have so many.

For Javey I tried writing that Spider-Man AU but like. I need to re do the entire first chapter. I absolutely hate it actually and I think it’s because I don’t have a clear vision of what exactly I want, but I know what I DO NOT want????

16. What are your writing strengths?

Uhhhhhhhhhhh I’m actually not sure entirely? I’m gonna go with dialogue bc that’s usually how scenes come to me first.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Scenery/setting/sensory, world building, plot points, physical movement holy fuck do not get me started when That Guy has to move Across The Room AHHHHHH I wanna tear my face off

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Love it! In my brain Jack Kelly is Mexican because I love to project, and I’ve got a wip where Blaine is involved in a Hispanic community (no he’s mot Hispanic he’s just got a Mexican friend who is an old lady and also Catholicism is involved it’s a lot to explain okay go with it) so I like to use it, but only in a way that feels natural to ME based on MY experiences. Different people have different approaches!

“Don't you see, Jackie?” Davey's voice was somewhere on the line between pleading and scathing. “If you can cheat on the daughter of the richest and most powerful man in New York, how can I trust that you won't dismiss me like that, as well?”

"He said what?"

Jack slammed his hand on the table in anger, making the other newsies flinch almost simultaneously. His eyes bore into Race's, waiting for an elaboration.

"He said you cheated on Katherine. He saw you."

Jack clenched his jaw, his eyes roaming over the expressions of his companions. Even in the low light of Jacobi's in the evening, he could see the vast difference in each boy's expression.

Some, like Crutchie and Racer, had glares of defiance. They didn't believe it.

And there were others, like Romeo and Specs, with hesitancy glistening in their eyes, unsure of that stance they should take, perhaps seeing truth in it.

Jack stood, both hands on the table and leaned forward. "Youse believe that?" Jack ground out, gritting his teeth together. He watched them carefully, unable to believe it. "After all we's been through? As friends? Brothers? Don't that mean nothin' to you fellas?"

Specs pursed his lips, nervously meeting Jack's glare. "Davey ain't got a reputation of betraying people."

Silence rang through Jacobi's as Jack's muscles tensed.

He was talking about the strike. About when Jack betrayed them for money to go to Santa Fe. As if he hadn't done it to protect them all.

"Get out." His voice was low and rough. "If youse believe what David's been spoutin', I want you outta my sight."

It felt like a punch to the stomach when half of the newsies exchanged looks before slowly pulling themselves up and leaving.

Jack watched as Elmer grabbed Albert's sleeve, whispering what was obviously a plea to reconsider. Albert paused and his eyes flickered to Jack. He pulled away and followed the others out the door and into the night.

For the longest moment, Jack didn't move, still bracing himself on the table.

He let out a shuddering sigh and slumped back into his chair.

When he closed his eyes, he could see the moment, clearer than he could see the boys in front of him.

When Davey had grabbed him by the scruff of his shirt, pulling him away from the kiss, pushing him into a wall, regarding him coldly before storming away.

He didn't stop as Jack tried to shout after him, to explain.

He didn't care.

Now, surrounded by half of his boys, Jack wondered if he should have tried harder.

You hadn’t had the apartment to yourself in ages, and you had pent up frustration. You were never a quiet moaner, so you could never relieve yourself when Jack was home. What made it worse was your big crush on Jack. You frequently found yourself drooling over Jack, always getting stuck with problems you couldn’t fix whenever he walked around your apartment half naked after he would get out of the shower.

You found yourself in the usual predicament. Jack walked around with his towel hanging down on his hips low, another drying himself and his hair off. You couldn’t stop staring, watching the towel slowly slip as he walked over to you. It hadn’t been until he was waving his hand in front of your face that you realized he’d been trying to get your attention.

“Yeah?” You asked, averting your eyes from his stomach to his face.

“I asked if you needed anything from the store.” Jack explained making you shake your head.

“No, no I’m good.” You said, sitting up straighter on the couch. Jack patted you on the shoulder, earning a small gasp from you when you felt the sparks where his hand hand been. You tried to bring your focus back on to what you were watching after Jack had left, but you couldn’t ignore the ache in your pants any longer.

You were naked on your bed, your hand wrapped around your hard length finally being able to make all the noise you wanted without having to worry about Jack hearing you. The second you started moving your hand the moans were continuously leaving your lips. You couldn’t help but buck your hips into your hand, the pleasure filling your entire body, thoughts of Jack clouding your head.

“Oh Jack.” You whimpered loudly, imagining his hand was wrapped around you instead. You must’ve been taking longer than you thought, because the sound of someone gasping made your eyes shoot open and avert to your door. Jack was staring at you in surprise, frozen in place with a look that you couldn’t quite decipher, but you spoke before you could stop yourself.

“Instead of staring you could join.” You breathed out through a smirk, your hand still pumping your length slowly. To your surprise Jack closed the door behind him, making his way over to you which made your heart beat out of your chest.

“This all for me?” Jack cooed in your ear when he climbed on your bed, replacing your hand with his. You let out a whine, nodding rapidly. He teased your tip, grabbing your chin before pulling you in for a kiss. Much to your dismay you broke the kiss with a moan, your forehead resting on Jack’s while he started to move his hand faster than before. “How long have you wanted this?” Jack asked, kissing you softly.

“A long time.” You moaned, whining when Jack pulled his hand away from you.

“Well let’s see how long you can last.” Jack hummed, caressing your thigh softly. “I can’t get enough of your cute moans.” Jack smirked down at you making you shiver from his tone. You rested your head on Jack’s shoulder, your moans filling the room again once Jack started moving his hand again.

“Fuck, Jack.” You cried out, your fingers digging into his arm. Jack’s hands seemed to be working wonders, and the second he felt you twitch in his hand he stopped his movements. “Jack please.” You begged, your hand sliding down his arm to his hand. He smacked your hand away softly, tightening his grip around you making your breath catch in your throat.

“I don’t know if dirty boys like you get to choose when they cum Y/N.” Jack teased, making you let out a breathy moan. “Do you want me to fuck you or do you want to cum?” Jack asked, moving his hand up and down at an agonizingly slow pace.

“Cum.” You cried out without a second thought, unable to pick your head back up from his shoulder.

“Aww, so desperate aren’t you?” Jack laughed softly, his hand picking up to an ungodly pace. Your mouth hung open, nothing but choked moans leaving your mouth. Your hips were once again bucking up, making Jack smile down at you. “Cum for me.” Jack whispered in your ear, slightly nibbling your ear.
