An absolutely horrible idea has wormed itself into my brain, again

The amazing digital circus but it's it's written like one of those creepypastas

you know the ones I'm talking about, the haunted game cartridges

sentient AI, missing people, corrupted monsters- we got all the pieces right there

"horror and freakshow AU," I hear you say, but I'm not just talking a horror version

I'm talking specifically the writing style and cliches of those 2010s gaming and lost episode creepypastas. (And those AUs are far to high in quality for that)

the out-of-place violence and blood in a kid's game, the game being of higher quality than the system should allow for, the obvious horror elements that the author writes off as nothing, the poor writing and spelling mistakes,

General Headcannons:

He's not scared of water just very very much made uncomfortable by it, he'll drink water and take showers but if rain touches him he will start to look grossed out

Vaguely smells like freshwater, like you'll only smell it if you get really close to him

Very close friends with Jeff and EJ

Nina acts like an older sister to him

He's so British

His family moved to the US when he was 9 and he died at 13

Was in the Moon children cult and had a very different idea for his ascension

Can interact with the characters in any game but prefers to harass the Links in any Zelda game (ex; Gangnam styling in front of OOT Link)

Absolutely fucking hates Dark Link

Eats cords

"Wires are just crunchy, y'know?"

Before Drowning:

His dad was abusive (big surprise, huh?)

His mom was THE mom, ultimate MOTY award goes to this woman right here

His ascension plan was to shoot himself and yeah, no that didn't get to happen

He only possessed the MM cartridge out of spite

Cannot swim (shocker)

His dad drowned him (shocker)

After Drowning:

Can see the other moon children in the 'void'

Most of them don't recognize him

He also goes back to try and talk to his mom but she never notices him

Slender Aftermath:

Jeff(17) was the one who first met Ben

At first they just talked to each other and Ben didn't know anyone else

Eventually Ben met Slender and started to get to know everyone else

EJ and Jeff were the people he was closest to

He and Sally bonded over dying young

Ben vibes with most of the poképastas, especially Lost Silver

Was nervous about showing anyone besides Jeff his "true form(?)"

Jeff encouraged him to show everyone, starting with Slender

Eventually everyone had seen it and they don't care when he walks around in it

I'm going to announce my newest project, something I've been working on since last night (yes I'm THAT early in development).

NiGHT Over: A NiGHTS Story.

A creepypasta based on Sonic.ExE and the NiGHTS Into Dreams creepypasta.

I've already created concept art for the creepypasta versions of NiGHTS, Claris, and Elliot.
