the future is bright and its fucking queer- dan and phil are out and making gay jokes, castiel canonically is queer and loves dean, the doctor is openly queer/gender-fluid.
the future is queer- the past was too we just didn’t know it yet.
You know, ever since we met, ever since I pulled you out of Hell... Knowing you has changed me.

“i mean, guys like us, we're not exactly the type of people they write about in history books, you know? but the people we saved, they're our legacy, and they'll remember us, and we'll eventually fade away, too. that's fine, because we left the world better than we found it.”
these men are literally always scheming and plotting and trying to find ways of working w/ each other again. and then we find out abt it ages later and find all the hints they were dropping abt it at the time. at this point i'm convinced they're already making plans for that spn mini series reboot......
Imagine Cas and Sam and Dean all searching through lore books for a way to help restore Jack's human soul, and they come up with natta/goose egg/bupkis.
But then Cas is standing in line at a gas station check out with Dean when he spots a Woman's World magazine with a blurb on the cover that reads, '10 Ways to Revitalize Your Body and Soul!'
So he quickly grabs it and makes Dean pay for it, and he's reading off a list of things while they drive home in the Impala like: try yoga! Go to the beach! Eat a home cooked meal! Don't be afraid to share your feelings with your loved ones! Redecorate your living space! Have a spa day! Start a garden! Hug someone at least once a day! ect.
And Cas figures he's been spoken to by the divine feminine and he's going to trust the universe with this one and decides that they all need to try this new ritual, for Jack. (Much to Dean's dismay.)
Jensen is great at playing characters that have to dig their way out of their graves. Bobby and Sam didn't take Dean's death well, Bobby drank and Sam started leaning into his psychic powers. They (rightfully) had to test and see if Dean was Dean, and literally no one knows what could have plucked him from hell. Sam kept the necklace that he gave to Dean as a kid 😭. Sam also thought it was a good idea to modernize the Impala, use is psychic powers and hang out with ruby. He's got a interesting way of grieving but ok. On to exciting news it seems I've finally gotten to Castiel's intro. I like how they threw everything they had at Castiel and he just took it and gave Bobby a nap. It's kinda sad that Dean doesn't think good things can happen. I hope Sam great a smug moment in the future, cus of the Angel that was really a spirit episode.
