Me: I'm not getting a Knives Funko Pop.

Friend: He could go with your Vash and Wolfwood.

Me: I don't even like Funko Pops. Those were gifts, and I'm keeping them because they're Vashwood.

Friend: You should get Knives to go with them.

As a newish Barbie collector, I must say that even though I like my funko pops, Barbie doesn’t stress me out as much. With funko pops you feel pressured to keep them pristine, especially the exclusive/limited edition ones. Even if you aren’t going to resell them, it’s like you’re pressured to keep them in the box. Or if you don’t, you at least keep the limited edition and other special ones in their boxes. I really don’t like that feeling.

With Barbie’s I think it’s not as pressured because you are the ones who decide which are special to you to keep in their display box, or not. There’s nothing there that tells you you should. It’s all based on what you consider special, and I love that.

I also think it’s important to respect others and what they do with their amazing collections. No matter what, it’s beautiful.
