Laxus Friendship Headcanons:

He's the only person who can get away with throwing Erza over his shoulder to pull her out of a fight. He's done it multiple times and has a scar from when she bit him to get away.

Gildarts roasts his ass all the time. Laxus cannot even breathe without getting called a nerd

When Gildarts isn't around, Cana bullies him instead. Laxus usually responds by lifting whatever she's drinking above her head and laughing at her try and get it back

Laxus likes to stress out Elfman by talking to Evergreen and then looking over at him and glaring

Asuka asked him to have a tea party once. He of course agreed and even wore a tiara

He adores Wendy. If she asked him to kill someone, he’d do it without question.

“She’s such a cutie.” Lucy says, watching the little girl sleep peacefully. Grinning when Asuka mumbles something into her chest, the blonde gently rubs circles on her back.

“Yeah, only when asleep.” Natsu lets out a huff, remembering how she made him play horse and rode on his back the whole day. And did it take hours to put her to sleep. “Kids are dangerous, I tell ya Luce.”

Lucy giggles, throws him a look. She knows he doesn’t mean what he said. He loves being around kids almost as much as he loves eating and napping. If anything, she believes Natsu will be a great father to his children.

“You love her anyways.”

He laughs softly, “Of course I do.”

“I’d love to have a kid like her someday.” She expresses with a smile, “Though I don’t know if I can be a good mother.” Natsu places his hand above hers in reassurance.

“I think you’ll be the best mom.” His eyes reflecting so much adoration, it makes her heart flutter. Though she’s nowhere near prepared for what she hears a moment later.

“Our Nasha will be the luckiest to have you, as her mama.”

Not joking you are literally the only person I feel safe to express this opinion to lmao. But anyways, I'm probably the only person who thinks this but, I really don't see Natsu and Lucy as parents?? They seem more like the fun Uncle and Aunty. Like Edolos Natsu and Lucy having a kid, fine, yeah sure, they are opposites so makes sense. But yeah, fun uncle and aunty, but not parents. Just me tho 🤷‍♀️

Hmm... indeed an uncommon opinion lmao, I haven't met anyone who thinks the same as you. Honestly, neither do I. I'm in the majority here, who think Natsu and Lucy would be great as parents!

We all know how much Natsu loves being with kids (Asuka, Nasha), he took care of the dragon egg and Kemokemo. It was prolly in a game visual- Natsu was seen getting along with a bluenette kid. He's easily a great elder brother to both Wendy and Romeo. I think this just shows he can be a good parent. Natsu may act goofy all the time, but he can be wise and mature when time calls for.

Take the 'Natsu and Asuka' omake for example, he acted like an actual parent throughout the day. Letting Asuka have wins even tho he himself gets worked up over winning anything, and then helping her get her parents' momento back from the robbers while making her feel independent. Even tho younger, he was responsible enough to take care of the dragon egg (albeit Lisanna helped). He literally kept the egg warm, sacrificing his sleep, until Kemokemo hatched. This really shows that despite his boisterous nature, he can handle kids just like every other father.

As for Lucy I think, she'd be a great mom tbh! She had a happy relationship with Layla before her demise. Layla would've supported Lucy's dreams, she would've understood her feelings, unlike Jude. Naturally, that's how Lucy believes a mother to be and the same qualities of Layla would inspire her to become a great mother or even better. In Trouble Twins novel illustrations by Mashima, Lucy was shown to take care of the kids, putting them to sleep beside her. She gets along with Asuka really well. Happy practically sticks to her side all the time, she gives him emotional support. And even Kemokemo acknowledged her as a part of his family, along with Natsu.

So yeah, I think Natsu and Lucy would be absolutely amazing as parents!

That said, it's completely okay to have different opinions. Doesn't matter if you're the only one or not. Just keep enjoying!

<Cobra found the identity of the man who had so soundly whooped his ass on the roof of the Compound last month. Wendy failed to see how that involved her.>

“Glad I caught you, kiddo.” Cobra declared jollily, jogging over to stand in the way of her path towards her room, a change of clothes, and a well deserved nap.

Not an enviable position, if you asked her.

“I just managed to track down our mystery interloper from a few months ago, thanks to his criminal record.” he informed, heedless of the danger imposed by his choice to stand between her and her bed. “Turns out Alzack Connell’s got some priors, mostly B&E and the like, but he’s turned over a new leaf, so to speak. I sent him a message, and he seems down for having a working relationship with the Avengers. And wouldn’t you know it? The guy’s only a short Quinjet ride away. 

“And you need me for this because...?” Wendy wasn’t normally one to snark at her friends, but she’d been the subject of Erza’s dubious ‘guidance’ for that afternoon’s training, an event which never failed to incur soreness and general exhaustion on a near spiritual level in all those present. Save for Erza, of course.

Cobra’s lips quirked upwards at her dry tone, before he shoved a baseball cap on her head.

“You’re my ticket inside.” he told her. “Turns out, Connell’s daughter is a big Sky Sorceress fan.”

Alzack Connell was waiting for them on his front porch. He had a kind-enough looking face, Wendy decided, even if he seemed faintly wary as they approached.

Of course, Cobra had to go and change that look from ‘faintly wary’ to ‘deeply unamused’ by way of an excessively twangy drawl of “Howdy, partner.” as they drew close.

Wendy managed to refrain from dropping her face into her hands, but it was a near thing. She should’ve known Cobra wouldn't let this grudge go quietly.

“If all you’ve got to offer is jokes,” Connell warned dryly. “I don’t see this ‘business partnership’ working out.”

Still fighting a grin, Cobra raised his hands in surrender with an easy, “Of course I have more than jokes.” before reaching back to abruptly usher Wendy forward with an arm around her shoulders. “I’ve got your daughter’s favorite superhero, who’s going to double as her babysitter while you and I hash things out... out of earshot.”

That was certainly news to Wendy.

Extricating herself from Cobra’s hold (and making certain the heel of her boot found his toes in the process) Wendy stepped forward and held out a hand to the man before her.

“It’s nice to meet you, Mr. Connell.” She tried for her most genuine smile, the one Erza and- surprisingly- Sting had coached her in using when it came to fundraisers and people who needed to receive a good impression. Mr. Connell rose sharply in her estimation when he accepted her handshake with no visible hesitance on his part (other people, even allies, who were aware of her abilities had sometimes glanced at her hand first, as if to confirm it wasn’t wrapped in crackling blue magic).

“Likewise, Miss...”

“Wendy is fine.” she assured him, her smile growing just the tiniest bit strained. The moment she turned eighteen (or whenever her long-awaited growth spurt felt like arriving) she’d become more comfortable being addressed by her surname by people older than her, but for now, ‘Wendy’ would have to suffice.

Of course, it was at that moment that a small, brown haired little girl poked her head around the door, took a single look at Wendy, and cried for all the neighborhood to hear, "SKY SORCERESS?!"

🎃 Behind the scenes Pt.1

Even though there are other divisions and some participants which may not be mentioned above, they’re all invited and have their own parts in this event as well. For examples;

Himari Asami, Hiroshi Sakura, and Suzuran Minazuki (who was on the request of her non-blood-related cousin) were in charge of designing and making costumes with the assistance of three fashion interns; Aimi Miyazaki, Alice Shiroka, and Umi Kobayashi.

Akira Arai, Natsume Kurome, Kururi Yamamura and Queen Card’s team were noted to took part in making props. By the way, Kureha Koizumi was anticipated to participate in this as well but she unexpectedly showed up in the opening show —much to everyone’s surprise.

Reiaki Suzubayashi and Emiko Akaibara showed to work together on helping the cast prepare themselves before entering the stage.

Chiyuri Seiguni was tasked to be the main operator of most special effects on stage via the brief from the real technician, Raiden Otoha since this one had to take his part in the 7th show.

Aiko Mayeda was the D.J. and he got the party started! The 86 band and other musical units associated with other division members were also joined in to provide music for some songs.

Most choreography throughout the shows were designed and coached by Yeong Hajoon, Haruto Morikawa, and Kaede Iwasawa.

The representative of Snowflake Sentinel News, Yoichi Shujo; and the head of a certain publishing-house, Nellie Yukimura were assigned to deliver the details of this event. Please expect more live reports and some tidbits behind the scenes from them.

The foods and drinks in this event were all supplied by the alliance between Luis Kōkyū, Rashaad Young, Harumatsuya shop, and Rikiya farm.

The main sponsors of the previous event are Sigma Inc., Toi Pharmaceutical, and E.L. Medical Co. Therefore, this time it’s the turn of Wonder⇓anD Sound Systems, Arakawa Tech Industries, and the concert venue was organized by the entertainment agency “Kairiku Production” with the cooperation of Queen Card’s league. 

For some reason, a certain division was banned from participating —to be specific, it’s Ginza Division. However, Eiji Noguchi and his family were secretly invited because his children wanted to come.

At first Fusao Ise and Queen card were honored to be the MCs (or the hosts) of this event but because the latter had to ‘prepare’ for her own part in the 11th show, Reika Aichi was surprisingly nominated to take over this role once again alongside Fusao.

At the beginning, all the cast were seen wearing some kind of masquerade mask before their first show started.

Though not every division was present in the 3rd show, there were flags with symbols of each team ever participated in the D.R.B. showing on stage.

For whatever reason, Aranai Norikoru was the one who delivered the line “Toki wo (Shout)!” before the chorus “Kakumei wa matte (The revolution has succeeded)!” was sung by all divisions. Well, someone in the cast seemed visibly displeased with how this turned out.

Despite the 6th show being performed by Yuuya Kanata and Yorii Sakuma, the one who advised them on the lyrics was their senior musician, Ren Nakashima, and the music provider for this show was none other than the 86 Band

Before two boys of the 6th show left the stage, the camera caught both Yuuya and Yorii high-fiving Ren who was up for the next show…

natsu on lucy’s hair: ft the celestial spirits

natsu asking lucy to call out cancer without telling her why. she calls him out, yelling at him not to try anything stupid, but he simply grabs cancer and starts speaking to him in a hurried whisper. it goes a lil bit like this

“yo, cancer. i wanna learn how to do those sick styles for lucy’s hair”

cancer, affronted, confused: “sure (suave) i can totally do that for you baby(suave again)” (i watched the show in dub. his catchphrase is baby)

NOW. here’s the thing. cancer tells natsu all about gels, hair ties, buns— all those techniques. nothing about scissors bc natsu wasn’t interested in that for whatever reason. cancer thought he would’ve been in order to prank lucy and cut her hair, but when asked natsu said “nahhh i just wanna know how you make all those weird shapes and stuff”. so hair ties and styling it was.

later, when cancer returns to the spirit world to tell the spirits about this odd interaction, most of them are unsurprised by natsu’s random request, but are curious as to why he wanted to learn. loke chimes in, saying he’s heard natsu mumbling under his breath during fights about how soft lucy’s hair looked. or how natsu sometimes whispered “strawberries?” after her hair flew in front of his face. natsu never noticed he said these things, they were unconscious and habitual.

the spirits came to the conclusion that natsu really just wanted to touch lucy’s hair. cute. reasonable for two yearning, oblivious wizards. it seemed like the right explanation— or at least the one they wanted.

later, cancer returns to the human world in a seemingly desperate call from lucy. not out of danger, but rather anger? shock? irritation?

he finds her hair stuck up in a gelled monstrosity of scrunchies. it is a scrunchie tower of hair. apparently, it had been done while lucy was dead asleep during their mission.

it’s fixable and unharmed, cancer just washes the gel out and snips the scrunchies off with utmost care. but this seemed to make more sense than the cute explanation they’d come up with for natsu originally. after it’s done, lucy gives natsu a good ol lucy kick. cancer lets it go and expects that this was a one time prank, and that natsu will probably never touch lucy’s hair again if not to prank her.

but it’s really a front.

a few weeks later, the spirits talk to each other— almost gossip like, about how lucy’s braided hairstyles have seemed more.. messy. loose. lately. has cancer been slacking? cancer is not in the room during this gossip hour, but walks in and overhears them. he defends himself, claiming he hasn’t seen her hair in weeks, so perhaps it was her trying to learn by herself.

the spirits decide that yeah, it was probably that.

but the patterns continue, and the braids don’t seem to be getting better. in fact, at one point loke swears he sees a singed end on a braid.

it is when he brings this up to virgo that they have a lightbulb moment. who else used fire in close proximity to lucy? their girl would never put her hair that close to fire voluntarily if it was at risked of being burned. so the singe could only have come from one source… natsu.

the next time lucy calls out virgo, virgo point blank asks about lucy’s hair.

“your hair has looked different lately mistress. have you been trying to do it yourself?”

lucy looks a bit embarassed, flushing before answering.

“oh.. well natsu said he’s been trying to learn how to braid because asuka said gray braided her hair before, and he wanted to beat gray at braiding so i’m letting him practice on me.”

virgo doesn’t really think that’s the case, but decides not to push further.

its clear that natsu really did want to touch lucy’s hair from the get go, but didn’t want her spirits knowing. they are a teasing, nosy bunch after all.

one night on a mission, Cancer comes out on his own accord to ask Lucy about their usual hair cut appt, but stops short when he sees her asleep, natsu gently brushing his calloused fingers through her hair while she snored softly. natsu looked absolutely content, a hint of a smile gracing his face—seemingly treating her hair with utmost care and thoughtfulness. his hands would make the patterns of a messy braid, before unraveling it and combing out tangles before repeating the process— his eyebrows scrunching in concentration at some points. it’s unlike anything he’s seen from natsu before.

well. he can always ask lucy about the haircut tomorrow.
