asking me my personal headcanons for skeletondance is the greatest act of kindness you could give me so I am very appreciative.

truly I have an abundance, but I always like to start off with I think Wander experienced true love at first sight. Is it corny? Cheesy? Silly? Well, yes! Of course! That’s the best part!

I mean, please, this is Wander’s whimsicalness that we have. It’s potent. He’s a hopeless romantic. He loves all forms of love, he studies it, majors in it. Unadulterated love. This is post Major Threat- (which is another can of worms) but I imagine him wanting ahem more than friendship but for some reason they parted ways, remained friends. Who knows. After hearing all this stuff about a new villain in the galaxy, he feels a familiarity with a certain skeletal leader.

We’ve also seen Wander selflessly put others before himself countless times, getting hurt just for another person’s convenience/comfort. Trying to pair up Hater with Dominator was a big one. It was also major projection.

I had typed out that I think he’s good at keeping things under wraps but um no he is Not . At all. He is, in your words, extremely gay. He finds it hard to hide it at times. Really he prioritizes Hater’s well-being, and a relationship doesn’t always guarantee that.

He cannot be selfish and date Hatey! No! He loves him so much. Loves him so much to go through a heartbreak when he successfully pairs him with Dominator and he’ll be on the path to goodness and no longer do evil. It’s what will make him happy, what you want most for someone you are utterly truly deeply in love with.

This is just one headcanon but you got me going!
