Idea expanded, Rockstar Eddie falling head over heels for Bartender Steve working in a high class club type of joint. He sees him working one night and thinks God damn, he's hot. I'm taking him home tonight.
Except bartender Steve has developed a significant distaste for celebrities and rich people in general because of getting cut off from his homophobic parents for coming out and the general bad way many have treated him at work whilst sloshed. But lucky for Eddie, Steve doesn't recognize him. And even though he started off in a trailer park, the fame has gone to his head a little and he asks Steve out with the full intention of getting into his pants and never seeing him again.
But oh no, would you look at that Steve isn't easy. And what Eddie thought would be a booty call ends up being a ten hour date around the city where he has more fun than he even thought was possible. Just from talking with Steve about anything and everything, flitting to parks and museums. And Eddie doesn't even realize until he's back at his hotel that they didn't even kiss.
And they go out more and more, and Eddie likes him more and more and he finds out where the rich people hate comes from. And it scares him. So he keeps lying. Like an idiot. And he tells Steve a fake last name, he tells him a fake job (which is only half fake because he did used to be a tattoo artist) and he rents an air bnb that he pretends is his own place. And the lies keep getting more elaborate to cover up more lies. And he keeps refusing to meet Steve's friends out of fear that they'll recognize him. And he really just drove himself into a corner here because he is absolutely in love with Steve at this point but how the fuck can you have a normal relationship when you are pretending to be someone else?
Turns out you can't, and Steve finds out the truth despite his efforts. But the twist is, he thinks it's fucking hilarious. After a normal period of What the fuck reaction time he gets over it. But never let's Eddie live it down.

6/27 Edit: Welp, now there's a fic.
Two fics actually. The other is by KikiZ on ao3 which is great if you're not looking for an explicit fic! Because mine will be. It's also a bit more introspective than what I got going on, and also thus far, hella romantic.

i don't know if this is a protocol thing or what but i love that orym and keyleth have just the most brennan and zac ass dynamic where like orym will be like "i pledge fealty to you allow me to be your blade and vanquish your enemies in your name" and keyleth will be like "thanks; bro (sent from my iphone)"

Man “Battle Nexus: New York” was a great episode but I do have one major gripe with it.
Like. Raph being paired up with Ghostbear? Makes sense. Works great. Works amazing, even.
Mikey being paired up with Meatsweats? Yeah that checks out!!
Donnie getting…Hypno…? I mean. I guess Donnie doesn’t like magic so it kindaaa works but Kendra would have been a much better choice to me personally. Maybe Big Mama didn’t wanna include a human or something…
And Leo getting…uh…one of the Sando Brothers???? Of all villains? Nah let’s be real, his main villain is more Big Mama herself (or Leo could be considered his own worst enemy lmao-). Hell Hypno would have probably worked better here considering their shared love for magic tricks and stuff, but Carl Sando????

im just gonna say anyone whos like "all/most horror sucks theres no meaning its outdated its just people getting killed/tortured with no meaning etc etc" im just gonna assume youve only seen like 2 horror movies ever or your only exposure to horror is in other movies/shows where people are like "every horror movie is just a bunch of horny teenagers getting stabbed" and you took their word for it completely

Being the ancient of space Danny has the nifty ability to bend it to his will. Meaning he can travel anywhere he wants. He tends to use this power to shuttle the Justice League travel across the galaxy and even sometimes the universe.
Not that he minds though. Oftentimes, he performs short bursts of teleportation that gradually slingshots him and his passengers to their destination. This gives Danny the time to chat with them and listen to their stories. Of course when it's urgent, he will teleport them to the location right away.
The only problem with this is something something, an ancient can not hand out favors or there will be "reality shattering consequences". Danny wasn't really listening to Clockwork's whole spiel but he heard enough to know free trips = bad. So he finds his price for helping the Justice League.
In exchange for one trip, he must be paid in a pretty rock picked up from an alien planet. He has formed quite the collection.

My roman empire is the fact that Auron legit KILLED Derek by fucking BEATING the absolute SHIT outta him then straight NAILED THAT MOFO ON THE DESK & then straight up went on a date afterwards & had the most heartwarming moment ever with Rook. I know that's not much, but I think about that shit at LEAST once a month.
