SSKK^2 As Teens [Headcanons]

Outfits:

Acchan wears a lot of J-pop fashion - athletic wear. Open and easy to move in. The designs are simple, but with his brother’s help, he makes his clothes his own.

Ryuuchan paints little designs on his clothes - some of which are inside jokes that not even Atsushi and Aku know.

Acchan likes it when no one knows what his designs mean, and he flaunts his custom sweater/shirt around.

He wears crocs. Unironically. He likes he can kick them off whenever to climb anything he wants. Everyone hates them, but they can’t handle it when he tries to go find them.

If he can get away with it, he’d wear clashing patterns.

He’s destructive to pants in specific- he goes through them quite a bit. Atsushi can’t get him to stop.

Ryuu-chan is very simple. He likes self-expression and to look smart. He tends to wear layers, and Acchan encourages colorful jackets for Rashomon. He gets told he dresses too old for his age; to his reply is ‘yuh.’

He likes it when his outfit’s pallets match. He will test color theory on some outfits, but rather they’d just match them.

He likes it when his jacket is darker than his shirt.

Though he makes designs for Acchan, he doesn’t really like wearing graphic tee/sweaters.

~More Headcanons and Context ~

Haircuts:

Acchan watches a lot of TV - some of which are 80s TV. HE REALLY WANTED A MULLET. He kept telling everyone he was going to grow one, but Atsushi was insistent he didn’t. Aku stepped in to let him know that hair is important to a kid’s self esteem. Surrendering his rejection; Acchan is allowed to grow out his mullet. He doesn’t brush his hair, so he tends to look like he’s been electrocuted.

Ryuuchan grew his hair like Chuuya's [mostly to try it out]. Unlike his brother, he cares for his hair really well. He prefers to pull it back to keep it from getting in his mouth. His hair has never passed his shoulders, and he’s ok with that. [It grows too fast, so he gets major cuts periodically. It returns to the length after a few months.

Academics:

Acchan is either really good at school or fails hard. He has a natural understanding to patterns and repetition but if school requires critical thinking; he panics and answers like “fish” on a math test. If there is a formula to the school work - he will blossom. He’s also been asked to join sports groups because he is the fastest runner in his class. Atsushi encouraged it until Acchan played soccer and kicked the ball so hard with the tiger that he had to pull him from sports that required kicking or throwing. [Atsushi was mostly worried for other kids' safety]

Ryuu-chan is attached to creative classes, though he does really well in all his closes. He, however, gets stressed with the school starts to bring up university. He gets in his head and tends to over study and get exhausted on test day.

Personality:

Acchan is really sweet to everyone he comes across. He tends to come home late from school because he gets stopped to do a series of heavy labor requests for the neighbors. He’s also very hungry and asks for food for payment. He comes home with snacks everyday. He’s well spoken if he is interested in a particular subject but when him and his brother fights over hypotheticals - all intelligence leaves.

Ryuu-chan is pretty reserved - though not socially avoidant. He’s too polite [engrained bc of Atsushi] and tends to do everything everyone asks. Unlike his brother, Ryuu-chan gets asked to do complicated tasks. Old people also really like talking to him, and it often feels like they seek him out to talk to him. He tends to dip if his social battery gets too much.

fic where a lost lady comes across a large, empty castle and inside resides akutagawa. akutagawa is cold, keeps to himself, and is terrifying, but its storming and she manages to convince him to let her stay.

there she ends up discovering the castle -- it's large, filled with expensive things, and the only person there is akutagawa

despite everything, she tries to reach out to the cold man, makes him food, tries to lure him into conversation

eventually she comes across a giant curtain and when she pulls it aside its a large painting of a pretty white haired man

on his hands is a ring she's seen before -- on akutagawa

thinking that this man is in mourning she tries to reach out even more, trying to show him that his old lover would want to him to be happy

as the storm comes to an end after a few days, she thinks she's starting to make progress -- she wonders if she should stay, if this was... something that she was meant to be doing

however, a day after the storm, someone else enters the castle, she goes to see if its another traveler but familiar purple-gold eyes look at her with confusion

"y-you... ghost??" she cries out

the man furrows his brows and asks who she is -- she's too scared to answer

from upstairs, akutagawa comes rushing down and into atsushi's arms

and for a second she thinks she's seeing a miracle until the white haired boy pulls away laughing and says, "ryuu i was only gone for a week"

Umm happy late b day Aku…😭 I’m totally super late for this I KNOW. But! I’m doing it anyway! >:3 late or not :P Plus I Just wanted to write for him since I really like this dude (〃ω〃) (Light blood, death and killing mentions but not in detail)

Akutagawa b day hcs first >;}

planning everything out and hiding it from him is kind of a task. 😅 the guy’s pretty stealthy himself so ya gotta make sure he doesn’t sneak up on you while your prepping things.

Buuut with the help of everyone from the port mafia (except Mori- joking! he does help but Elise does 90% of the work) you planned a mini party <3

Gin got the food! (Figs and tea enters chat)

Higuchi got the decorations! (streamers, balloons, tables, chairs)

Hirotsu keeps akutagawa busy (tea and chatting LOL)

Elise makes the banners (hints poorly drawn dead versions of everyone—extra blood for aku<3)

Kajii makes (lemon shaped) confetti poppers!!

Koyo hosted/recorded it all 💗

Chuuya brought wine and the cake (both were really expensive and tasty good job Chuuya)

Q brought lots of presents!! :3

Annnnd Tachihara! Brought some ~port mafia style~ party games (you played mafia LOL)

now general relationship things 😚

He treats you like how he does Gin, there is peace between the two of you and you have friendly interactions. (Romantic as well, for you) he will even go as far as to do favors for you but we’ll dabble in that more later ☆)

acts of service is his #1 love language. There’s no convincing me otherwise. When I say ‘he will do anything for you’ besides killing this is what I mean. You really don’t have to ask either. I talk about this some more later but, examples: done with your plate? He’ll take it. He remembers you said you needed xyz, he got it for you. You said you wanted to ____ but you fell asleep, so he did it.

hope you get along with Gin because to continue a relationship with him past 2 minutes, you need to. He will never choose friends over family. I stand on that.

you never have to worry about him lying, thankfullly. the bad news is…this guy isn’t just honest..he’s brutally honest 😀

which he’s not dumb, but he’s also not one to pacify feelings. So say you created something and you’ve been working on this piece for a while now, (whether your an artist, writer, sculptor, something else—whatever), he takes a look at it and singlehandedly points out all the flaws 🧍‍♀️

if you decide you wanna clean up or go to the store yourself he won’t stop you and be like ‘nonono I got it you sit down 🥺’. I don’t mean this in a bad way but he’s not a gentleman on purpose

I feel he’s the type of guy to do things that you consider gentlemanly but he just considers it being polite

oh it’s fine he’s got the groceries 👌

got a order for pick up? Oh well he was going out anyway, he’ll get it 🤷

Ive always been curious of how there sibling relationship is....umm emotional speaking.

Like all siblings I'm close to my brother and we fight and still strong as ever. So like what are their opinions of each other???

Acchan adores his brother, he thinks he's so awesome because he can cook and grow his own food and you know he can draw too?? He is a little too enthusiastic about rough-housing sometimes and tends to forget that injuries are not a one-and-done heal for Ryuu-chan. (And then he feels absolutely TERRIBLE.)

Ryuu-chan is fiercely protective of Acchan even though they both consider Acchan the "older" brother. (They haven't gotten into "who's the oldest" fights yet at Atsushi is very much hoping it never comes up because he doesn't know.) He does consider Acchan a little on the slow side bc he hasn't taken any interest in academics and assumes that he's always going to have the right answer even though that's definitely not the case.

They do both quarrel often, but the fights rarely last longer than a day before they're back together getting up to trouble of some kind or another.

So happy to finally make something for this au !!

Most of the cast are spirits - the AU started out with me getting emo about name meanings. It turned out so well and I have so many thoughts, so I’ll put the broad strokes of the plot under the ‘read more’.

Ukai: The listener

The plot:

- We open with Daichi, a wandering-knight-type who has been badly injured travelling on a mountain path. At the peak, at night, in the rain, he stumbles upon a long-abandoned shrine

- At sunrise, he wakes, and finds he’s not alone. Asahi tends to his wounds, and gives him some of the little food he has, and sends him on his way. Daichi makes the rest of the journey to the village safely

- In the village, at an inn, he meets Suga and Takeda, who he tells about his journey. To his confusion, they insist that the mountain shrine hasn’t been tended to in decades. The ‘priest’ Daichi remembers does not exist.

- A clue appears when Daichi sees the statue in the centre of the town: two men in a loving embrace. One of them is Asahi.

- Takeda is knowledgable about the spirits and mythology that surround the town - the mountain on one side, and the valley on the other. He tells Daichi the legend associated with the statue. Two spirit lovers, the morning at the evening, the peak and the valley. On the equinox, the pair would meet in the middle of the town, and the city began throwing a festival to honour the event, which is still held to this day.

- Suga, Takeda’s student, returns with Daichi to the shrine to investigate. When they wait for sunrise, Asahi appears again - delighted to have visitors.

- From him, they learn: he is indeed the spirit from the legend. Over decades, as the mountain pass became more dangerous, fewer and fewer travellers visited his shrine. Asahi grew weaker, and was no longer able to protect the travellers - making the journey more dangerous in turn. Now, he is so weak that he can only manifest at sunrise, and has lost his connection with the other sprits on the mountain. He can’t reach out to Nishinoya anymore, and it’s been decades since they were able to meet.

- Suga and Daichi resolve to help Asahi, and to help him find Nishinoya again. To do so, they must find and help the other spirit pairs on the mountain, who are weakened and fading thanks to Asahi’s disappearance.

- Hinata and Kageyama are phasing out into sunlight and shadow respectively, and cannot see each other.

- Tsukishima and Yamaguchi’s ages fluctuate with the phases of the moon, but they have been knocked out of sync.

- Ryuu is stuck in dragon form. Kiyoko is trapped behind her waterfall.

- No one can find Nishinoya at all.

- And… we go from there! With the help of Daichi, Suga, Takeda, and Ukai (a man who speaks to spirits without realising and assumes weird teenagers just keep hanging around his workshop), the spirits are brought back together and of course Noya will be found :>

ʚїɞ Per event rules, there's only one prompt per ask, so I hope you don't mind I went with 12!

If there's one place that no one would expect Akutagawa Ryuunosuke in, it would be in the kitchen, helping with, or even making food himself.

Currently, he could be seen in front of a counter, cutting up a few vegetables for dinner, while you could be seen in front of the stove, in charge of the things already starting to cook. Gin would usually help but she got a surprise mission therefore she’s out.

Just after the water started to boil in one of the pots, you remembered you had to add one specific spice, it’s barely used in the Akutagawa household, meaning the siblings decided to put it into a cupboard placed high up, way too high to reach without a small ladder, at least for you. Maybe someone over 190cm (6’2 I believe) could barely reach it, so never mind you doing so. Why do they even have a cupboard that high?

There is a small ladder in their house for things like that, the problem is that you aren’t sure where it is since it’s always moved around by Gin. Ryuu really has to stop putting things in higher places just to spite her about height.

“Hey Ryuu, can you watch the food on the stove while I go look for the mini ladder?”

“Sure, but why do you need the ladder?”

After he agreed, you started walking towards the kitchen entrance. “I need to get [spice] to add to dinner but it’s too high to reach so imma be back in a minute or two.”

Finding the ladder took in fact, way longer than you anticipated, as it took over 10 minutes. You really wonder why in hell it was in Gin’s room but if you were to bet, your oh-so-lovely boyfriend decided to put something of hers on a higher shelf out of spite. You really can’t explain the love-hate sibling relationship, but oh well.

When you got back to the kitchen, you found out your search was useless upon noticing the spice you needed ready on the counter. It’s obvious to you why and how.

“You really couldn’t do that while I was in the kitchen?”

“Didn’t feel like doing so”

You're well aware that he can just grab stuff with Rashomon, but completely forgot about it earlier.

…You’re fighting the urge to grab one of the pans on the stove to hit him across the head. Affectionately, of course.

“Don’t stare at me like that.” Seems he can feel the glare. Good.

“How about no?”

“What-”

A surprise peck on the cheek when he was turning around to face you. It was enough to crash this man like a computer for good 2 minutes.

“It’s annoying that you just let me go search for the ladder for like 10 minutes even when you probably knew where it was from the start, but thank you for bringing it down for me, Ryuu.”

No answer from him, an innocent smile from you while moving away from him.

Little shit.

He should’ve let the food burn.

Once the coughing has subsided, Ryuu whispers, “My body is a warzone.” He sets the glass down. “It cannot even hold enough food to improve my health. My lungs are rotting. I cannot run for more than a few minutes before I must stop to catch my breath. I must rely on my ability to compensate for my physical disadvantages, but in doing that, I will never be strong enough for Dazai-san. You do not want my body; yours is everything I wish mine could be.” It would be worth it, Gin thinks, if it meant she could feel at home in her own skin. She would take Ryuu’s terminal illness, she would take his dysfunctional lungs, she would take his too-thin frame and his skin that bruises at the slightest pressure and his perpetual cough and his weak immune system. She would take everything he hates about his body and wear it with pride because at least she wouldn’t be so feminine.

basic explanation: You are his wife from my previous post. Married for five years, had sex with him already (read my previous post). Let's say that, it is the next day after that night. I won't say anything else, it is just a date and you may be given some surprises. (don't expect too much)

While you were relaxing in the steamy bathtub, having your hair wrapped in warm towel. Akutagawa wasn't home at that time, he is a mafioso, plus workaholic after all. Of course, he spent most of his time working and he didn't like it when you tried to convince him to take a rest as he thought that it gets in his way. He run away from when you nagged him about it sometimes, even neglected his own health condition. Marrying Akutagawa is not easy at all, that is what you thought.

You sighed heavily to yourself as you think of your beloved husband, finding yourself feeling concerned about him although he is 'strong'. All of the sudden, you heard your phone short notification popped up which means you received a message. You dried your hands using a nearby towel and picked your phone that was beside you, you saw that Akutagawa has sent you a text. He rarely text you first so you could not help but opened your Line.

Akutagawa:

"Meet me at Chinatown, around 4PM."

After you read his message, you felt somewhat weird out about the way he just straight up telling you to meet up when he just can go home. Maybe it was an emergency after all, but why at such a overrated place?

This is Yokohama, Chinatown. [If I'm not wrong]

You checked what's time is it in your phone, it was 1:34P.M. You felt relieved that you have a lot of time to get ready, you stood up out of your bathtub and drained the warm water before you dry yourself using your clean towel. You wrapped your towel around your body and walked out of the bathroom.

You arrived in front of the entrance of Chinatown, it was less crowded than it usually do but there are few foreigners enjoying their time together. You felt a hand touched your shoulder, it was Akutagawa. He was wearing frameless dark glasses, zipped up black coat that cover his neck and black trousers. He crossed his arms as you turned around to see him with that soft smile of yours.

He looked at you with that usually expressionless of his for few seconds, he began to walk into the entrance with you just following him around. You two didn't say any words and you are used to it, Akutagawa only communicate when he wants or needs. You couldn't help but curious since he didn't tell you anything else other than just meet him at a specific place.

"Ryuu, why did you told me to meet you here?" you asked with a soft tone.

"A date." he replied with simple words yet easy to understand.

He looked straight ahead as he was walking with you while you were staring at him. It took you few seconds to react, you just nodded and looked straight ahead. At outside you seemed normal but in the inside, you were blushing really hard as you did not expect this since Akutagawa looked like a person to not have a thought of spending quality time.

You looked at his hand, having a desire to hold it when walking. You decided to just hug his entire arm, he didn't react to it but just put his hands into his pockets then just looked around while walking. The Chinatown have a lot of Chinese restaurants and street foods stall.

The scents of those foods filling your nostrils made you hungry. You tucked Akutagawa's sleeve as you looked up at him.

"Ryuu, I'm hungry. Can we eat at that cafè?" you asked as you pointed at the nearby chinese restaurant that looked fascinating to you.

Akutagawa nodded as a response and walked into that cafè.

You both took your seats beside the window, the female waiter immediately placed two menus on the table before she walk away to serve other customers. After you two finished ordering, you looked at Akutagawa who was sitting across you. Akutagawa was also looking at you and he crossed his arms. You reached out both of your hands across the table towards him while smiling.

"Hey.. I want to hold your hands. Can I?" you smiled excitedly as you asked.

"Wait, I forgot to brush my teeth." you said before walking into the bathroom to brush your teeth.

Akutagawa sighed and walked into the bathroom with you, he also brushed his teeth as he didn't want to be the only one who have stinky breath.

After that, you both went into the bedroom. Akutagawa was no longer horny. You and him were cuddling under the blanket with air-conditioner on and lights were off.
