I just finished Tulin's storyline and excuse me while I bawl about this game further cementing the fact that Revali made himself a Champion. He was no descendant of an ancient Sage nor did he have a loving family to train him (that we know of). There was no power destined to be his: he crafted his own version of wind control without any support or spiritual guidance and excelled at it and then he and the other Champions went into battle without the special helms, without a sacred tear/charm to further enhance his abilities, without the certainty of two rulers (and a sage from the future) with god-like powers that could back them up if things went awry. Because of this, the original Sages survived where the Champions did not.
Revali was doomed from the start and if he'd known he would've still honed his craft and piloted Medoh with his beak held high and I am in shambles about it
Gustav was a stubborn kid but he just wanted to be a dragon rider, to be accepted or to belong somewhere. Like Hiccup once felt. Thing is, unlike with what Hiccup had, Gustav's parents didn't seem to care about him or what he did. Unlike Hiccup, he tried to follow someone else's path instead of learning his own. He let his resilience and stubbornness overlook common sense and advice and he looked up to Snotlout whose way of doing things and self-oriented mode of teaching was not for a kid with mental vulnerability.
He deserved and earned that position of being the leader of Auxiliary Riders
The white Loth cat and the Loth wolf as like, the embodiment of Lothal. The very planet itself fighting back against the Imperial occupation. No one has seen a Loth wolf in a hundred years, but now that its world is in danger, it returns. "All paths are coming together," says Kanan. "Doom," the Loth wolf says to Ezra. Or is it saying, "Dume," the true name of Ezra's master. Ezra who can see the wolf when no one else can. Ezra who can see what is coming. Ezra who all along has been able to connect with animals, with nature, with creatures the Empire wouldn't give a second thought about stepping over or stepping on, yet these creatures carry in them ancient memory, the world's memory, a memory of freedom, a memory of light. All paths are coming together. Call it the Force, call it Ashla and Bogan, call it the Universe, call it Nature, call it Good and Evil. There are greater forces at work than just the will of the Empire. There are worlds with histories, and the creatures who remember. There is a hill covered in the sweet grass nourished by the good rains, and touched by a slow wind. There is a bright sun rising. And on the hill there is a wolf, marked clear against the rising of the light. The world goes on, as it did long before this evil occupied these lands, and as it will long, long after that evil is gone.
why would righteous thunderstar say "sure moth flight, we'll help you defend against my insane father who's trying to steal your children but only if you give Me one of your children"
Years ago, Sunlit Frost nearly died, receiving permanent nerve damage, from having an untreated burn that went septic. During the First Battle, his good paw was injured and he was permanently left unable to build, hunt, or fight anymore.
If, back then, Sky's Clan had a medic, Sunlit Frost wouldn't have chronic pain to this very day. Gray Wing's breath rattles within his lungs, growing worse by the day. Battles are still constant. Thunderstar knows the importance of having someone who is capable of healing around; and Dapple is now dead without a successor.
Moth Flight and her children are the only cats left with the ancient knowledge of healing that came from their Tribe ancestors.
In his mind, he isn't being cruel. He's negotiating. He is giving them a choice, and why would he risk his cats receiving injuries defending against Skystar, only for them to die of infection as a reward?
He needs one too. Perhaps Spider Flight realized this, and that's why he chose to come to ThunderClan after seeing the writing on the wall.
50$ to print 10 of the same skin has always been so insane to me. you're telling me it's 50$ to print....only 10.....of a single skin....and that's normal. And not only is that normal, that's what's required for a skin shop. where ppl may not even sign up for 10 runs. and then you're left in the shitter with at minimum 1-4 skins nobody wanted (not to mention if some people decide not to pay afterward) that you have to just pray someone finds & buys on the auction house. And it's 50$. Uhuh. And then that's just the artist's issue and fault and we're gonna blame them instead of the fact that a 10 print run costs as much as groceries.
